I’m a little overwhelmed to do a review on Hyungsik’s music and I think it’s because this is my first attempt on doing so. I’ve heard Hyungsik sing a lot of his OST songs and also songs as part of ZE:A but I never had an opportunity to review an album although it’s just a mini album. It would be cool if he does release a full album in Korean someday.
I’m gonna take my time listening to Hyungsik’s five new songs on his Beginning album. I’m gonna make sure to savor it bit by bit until I understand what he’s trying to convey to me through his songs. I want to feel like I’m his personal muse to inspire him to sing these melodies out to the world.
I’m very curious about the song title I love you girl even though that’s not the main song title for this Beginning Japanese album.

I finally got around to listening to the main song of the Beginning Album and even got to watch the music video for it.
Koishikute Aitakute most certainly sounded like a love ballad and the song fit perfectly with Hyungsik’s voice and his all around mannerisms. The music video was nice to look at cus Hyungsik looked so good in it and also the cinematography was glossy but thankfully not overly glossy.
Koishikute Aitakute starts out with a soft acoustic guitar and later on the whole band chimes in and it comes almost like a rock ballad. I really love the song cus the melody gets stuck in your head after a few listens.
I also have to mention that the music video was gorgeous and it’s not because of the perfect cinematography but because of how sexy and gorgeous Hyungsik looked. Now I can kinda see why Hyungsik has been keeping his hair longer in that mullet hairstyle, it’s cus that particular hair makes him look hot and sexy, of course super manly too.
I haven’t had the chance to listen to the other four sings on the Beginning Album but I have a good feeling that I’m gonna like them all, talk about being biased hahaha…
I think I will especially like the song I love you girl, it almost sounds like a personal love song to me hehehe…
Hyungsik’s voice is so melodic, charming and beautiful. His voice is so smooth that it makes your heart melt but it makes my heart skip a bit a little more especially if you listen to the song with the music video because his outer beauty is so stunning. I think Hyungsik is becoming more handsome by the day, compared to his younger years. This man is becoming hotter with age!
I’m gonna be posting this article later on today some time, and hopefully I’ll listen to the rest of the album so I would be able to comment on it on my next blogpost regarding this album. Unfortunately, my mind has been everywhere lately cus of what’s going on globally, it’s so hard to focus on fangirling in today’s climate…..
