Yeom Jang Seon was after his niece in law at the beginning of Episode 9 of Buried Hearts. Mr. Yeom’s plan was to remove Eunnam once and for all for wanting to divorce his nephew then go back to Dongjoo, his full blown enemy.

Mr. Yeom told his personal assistant Cheon to get everything from Eunnam including her stocks from Daesan and also the land her father left her after he took her out of the picture.

By the way, Yeom has a strange character trait. He loves to eat dried anchovies with spicy Korean chili paste after he drinks his fancy wine. Yeom really is a strange old man indeed.

Yeom wants to hurry up and hear the news that Dongjoo is gone already so Eunnam would follow suit then all of Daesan could finally belong to him.

Ildo was on his way to see Dongjoo at the hospital but his son Taeyun beat him to it unfortunately. Taeyun talked very casually to Dongjoo like a big brother, it reminded me of Jungwoo and Bada back in Dr. Slump although the younger boy doesn’t have his signature Busan dialect like he did in the previous drama. However, with this long interaction between the sleeping Dongjoo and Taeyun, I realized that Yoon Sang Hyeon was trying so hard to mask his Busan dialect.

Apparently Taeyun gave up on playing the violin because of Dongjoo, whatever that means. Taeyun thought that Dongjoo was dying so he was begging him to stay alive. For some reason Taeyun can’t live without him and as he was pouring out his heart to the sleeping Dongjoo, Mr. Heo saw what was going on. Ildo was planning to go into Dongjoo’s room but had to wait it out cus Taeyun was in there talking to the Dongjoo that’s sleeping.

Taeyun thought that if the ambulance came a little bit sooner, Dongjoo wouldn’t have to suffer in the hospital. Taeyun couldn’t help but to wonder why his father never called the ambulance but acted like he called them which was still a mystery to him.

Ildo overheard everything that Taeyun was telling Dongjoo and it seemed like he had a hard time dealing with the aftermath of it all. Mr. Heo pretty much followed orders for his own personal gain but yet he looked miserable.

Heo Ildo was having an inner conversation with his son Taeyun while he wasn’t even around. Ildo wasn’t about to give up his ambition and die just because Taeyun thinks of Dongjoo like his own big brother. Ildo was determined that he wasn’t going to stop until he had the title as the chairman and also his son as the chairman then everything would stop then and only then.

This wasn’t supposed to happen but Dongjoo opened his eyes, he wasn’t dead and when Mr. Heo witnessed this and he was definitely in shock. By the way, Hyungsik as Dongjoo looked so gorgeous with shaggy and wavy hair. Also, his hairstyle makes his single eyelids stand out.

I really enjoyed Taeyun’s monologue to Dongjoo, it’s not a full blown interaction because Dongjoo was still “asleep” but throughout this whole series these two didn’t really have a whole lot of interaction like in Dr. Slump although I really loved their bro chemistry in the previous drama.

One of the henchmen that kinda looked like the administrator guy was making an attempt to kill Dongjoo or rather stab him while Mr. Heo was watching him. Hyungsik’s acting range was proven once again, he can do action sequences very well as melodramatic stuff.

One of Yeom’s smaller henchmen was making an attempt to stab Dongjoo but he got stabbed by Mr. Heo’s needle. Also, I have to mention that Hyungsik looked so hot in his hospital outfit but the thing is, he looks good in everything. I envy this man so much because I wish I can look good no matter what I wear.

Dr. Yihyeon was telling Chairman Cha that Dongjoo has been sleeping a lot more at night so this was an indicator that he was slowly coming back to normal and this relieved Chairman Cha. 

Chairman Cha was worrying about Dongjoo but then he was going through his own health problems. In the middle of the night he left his house barefooted while talking to Dr. Kang regarding Dongjoo.

Old man Cha thought that maybe it might be better to send Dongjoo away to another country for his situation but Dr. Kang told him that Korea is the best place to cure his sickness.

Chairman Cha was desperate for Dongjoo to come back because he had a lot of work to do for Daesan on his behalf. Chairman Cha asked Dr. Kang to take good care of his subordinate Dongjoo and then his phone died on him. Mr. Cha thought that he was still at his house and asked Butler Gong to charge his phone for him but obviously he was outside not knowing where he was.

Dr. Kang went over to Dongjoo’s room to check on him but it looked like everything was fine so she went back into her office. Mr. Heo was hiding in Dongjoo’s bed and the caretaker made it seem like nobody came by until the morning time.

Dongjoo took the administrator guy into the bathroom. Dongjoo tied up the guy and was torturing him with water while making him talk to Jo Yangchoon over facetime.

The Administrator guy said that he will do everything in his power to save Cho and after he hung up the phone with him he asked Dongjoo where he hid him. Dongjoo was taunting the guy saying he could kill the both of them if he really wanted to. The scene between Dongjoo and the administrator made my heart stop because Hyungsik’s brownish long wavy hair was so gorgeous and I think there was a moment where he actually did his famous hair toss too.

Dongjoo was about to stab the administrator guy in the eye and all of a sudden he mentioned that Yeo Eunnam was gonna die that night. Dongjoo knew right away that the person who was after Eunnam was Mr. Yeom. Dongjoo was about to call Eunnam to warn her but the administrator guy warned him not to do that because that’s not gonna make a difference since some hitman would chase after her then end it anyway.

Eunnam was at a fancy Korean traditional restaurant and she was waiting for someone while in another room there was a man waiting for someone too but he had that mysterious ruby ring on his finger.

The waitress lady told Eunnam that Mr. Yeom was gonna arrive soon but Eunnam was heading out as soon as she got that call from Dongjoo. The restaurant was a fancy Korean traditional place and it’s funny how Mr. Yeom likes traditional styles just like his home.

The henchman who was following Eunnam had to talk to Dongjoo because she called him when she was being followed by the man who was working for Yeom to get rid of her. Dongjoo told the guy that he’s gonna give him only one chance to leave her alone. 

Dongjoo is so hot, sexy, cool and brutal when dealing with the bad guys but he is so adorable and polite to the people he likes and respects. After the caretaker left it was just Dongjoo and Mr. Heo but the way the younger man talked to the older man was definitely more informal than normal. Dongjoo always used honorifics when talking to Mr. Heo Ildo but not anymore. Dongjoo lost a lot of respect for Heo Ildo even though he never really liked him that much to begin with but kept it cordial and respectful for Daesan.

Dongjoo knew that Heo Ildo and Yeom Jang Seon pretty much teamed up while he was getting water tortured by Mr. Yeom’s men and thanks to Taeyun he found out that Ildo didn’t even call 119 for the ambulance to come so he could just die already from the cinnamon allergy.

Dongjoo couldn’t help but to wonder why Mr. Heo saved him yet again when he teamed up with Mr. Yeom to get rid of him from the beginning. Dongjoo was bragging that he also saved Heo Ildo twice, first when he was drowning in the water at the vacation spot and right now there at the hospital room.

Meanwhile, Chairman Cha was walking around barefooted in the busy streets of Seoul looking lost while people were staring at him like a crazy person. Chairman Cha lucked out cus he ran into his son Ji Seonwoo. Ji Seonwoo was riding his motorcycle on his way over to the Cha family house ironically enough.

Ji Seonwoo knew that he saw Chairman Cha from somewhere but wasn’t sure at first but then he realized that he saw him a few times at his bakery. Cha was sitting at the bus stop and Ji Seonwoo came over to him saying to himself that he saw that old man from his bakery every so often.

It was so strange that Chairman Cha couldn’t even recognize his beloved son Ji Seonwoo. Seonwoo thought it was weird that the old man didn’t recognize him at all and besides he couldn’t even remember where he lives.

Mr. Cha got on Ji Seonwoo’s motorcycle because the young man wanted to give him a ride home although the old man had a hard time remembering where he lives.

Meanwhile, the whole Cha family was concerned about Chairman Cha and both of his daughters were looking for him in opposite directions but they both led to the same path.

The Cha household didn’t call the cops because if they did, that could get the media’s attention which would lead to their stocks dropping in the end. Chef Do’s wife was freaking out while the other family members were thinking about how to find Mr. Cha.

Gukhui was so annoyed by Chef Do’s wife that she wanted her father to fire her but according to Butler Gong, Chairman Cha would not be able to eat anything unless it’s cooked by Mr. Do and his wife. Gukhui said the wrong thing while the family members are pretty sensitive emotionally. Gukhui was saying that it wouldn’t really make a difference if Chef Do and his wife got canned because once his dementia gets worse he wouldn’t be able to tell what he’s eating but this pissed off Deokhui to no end.

Also there was another or rather the real reason why Deokhui was super pissed. Deokhui thought that Gukhui knew about their father’s condition but never informed her of it. Dr. Kim intervened and told his sister in law that Gukhui had no other choice due to Chairman Cha insisting it to be that way.

Deokhui yelled at Gukhui while pulling her hair saying that she was plotting to mess with Taeyun’s life on purpose. Chairman Cha’s two daughters are freaking greedy but I think Deokhui is worse, she is the female version of Yeom to some degree. 

Gukhui apparently left her kids in the States so they wouldn’t be in Taeyun’s way but man Deokhui is so obsessed with making her second husband Heo Ildo and her boy Taeyun into the big wigs of Daesan, this woman is too much. However, it seems like Taeyun is the opposite of his mother, he doesn’t seem to be that interested in taking over Daesan. As a matter of fact, Taeyun seems more interested in music and getting along with Dongjoo Hyung.

Deokhui was completely losing it to the point where Butler Gong had to stop her by calling Deokhui by her name and telling her to stop. I’m guessing that Butler Gong has personal relationship with the Cha family or at least raised the Cha daughters since they were small children to be able to informally call Deokhui by her name informally.

Deokhui came back to her senses when Butler Gong yelled at her and she obviously listened to her command which means that Butler Gong has some sort of superiority in the household even if she’s just a butler.

Butler Gong also ordered the family to go look for the chairman cus he’s probably walking around barefooted somewhere. Even Taeyun had no idea about the conditions of the old man.

Heo Ildo told the administrator to disappear and the guy wasn’t sure if Mr. Heo really did have the intention to get rid of Seo Dongjoo like how Yeom wants it. The administrator guy was acting as if he cared about Ildo by telling him that his behavior might get him out of Mr. Yeom’s good grace.

Heo Ildo was losing it to the point where he was smacking the crap out of the administrator guy. 

There are so many cool scenes of Dongjoo in Buried Hearts. I’d have to say one of my favorites is him in his motorcycle gear although at the beginning it was Dongjoo in his designer/executive jet black suit. I also want to make a shout out to the song that plays while Dongjoo is off in his motorcycle even though it’s not Hyungsik singing, the beat and the melody of the song match his vibe.

Mr. Yeom was annoyed it was taking too long for the good news and one of the reasons why he was really annoyed was because he was planning to drink his celebratory wine which he already opened and if he waits too long the taste would be flat.

Mr. Cheon wanted to make Mr. Yeom feel better so he was willing to bring him a better quality of wine but he was already too late since Yeom already popped the best wine he had in stock at his home.

Mr Yeom wanted to celebrate with the best wine when he heard the news of getting rid of Seo Dongjoo for good. Mr. Yeom told Mr. Cheon to eat a bowl of Korean style rice noodles when everything is said and done. Also, Yeom mentioned that everything was because of the noodles.

Mr. Cheon really enjoyed the Korean style rice noodles. In the past, Cheon had a habit of going over directly to Mr. Yeom’s place when he couldn’t get a hold of the old man. Cheon did a background check on Dongjoo and according to him Dongjoo lived a rough life before he became part of the Daesan crew member.

Mr. Yeom thought a thug like Dongjoo doesn’t deserve to be the employee of the great Daesan group. 

Cheon showed Mr. Yeom  a photo of Dongjoo and Sister Agenes/Hyunjoo through his phone. Cheon was explaining about the people who were in the photo. The two children were Dongjoo and his sister Agenes/Hyunjoo. The woman in the photo was Dongjoo’s mother Go Yujin who used to work at a pub and passed away when Dongjoo was only seven years old. The man in the photo was Seo Byeong Deuk and he was the one who gave Dongjoo and Hyunjoo the last name Seo to the two children. According to Mr. Cheon, Mr. Seo is currently residing in the US but Mr. Yeom didn’t understand what Cheon meant by giving the children his last name.

So Mrs. Yeom thought maybe Dongjoo was adopted by Mr. Seo but according to Cheon that wasn’t the case because he had a phone conversation with Mr. Seo who’s currently living in Las Vegas. Mr. Seo living in Vegas told Cheon that Mrs. Pi begged him to sell his last name to Dongjoo when he was just a child.

The more Mrs. Yeom looked at the photo she realized something. The child with the scrunchy on his hair was Seong Hyeon/Choo Seong Hyeon according to Mr. Yeom’s wife. Mr. Yeom was like what? Choo Seong Hyeon? There was another picture Mrs. Yeom found in one of her photo albums and it was a picture of little Choo Seong Hyeon and her when she was younger then she compared it with the photo on Mr. Cheon’s phone.

Mr. Yeom was observing it closely but he denied that it was Seong Hyeon. Mr. Yeom’s wife was showing Cheon the pictures too saying that it’s Seong Hyeon because the boy in both of the pictures is the same child. Mrs. Yeom was saying that Seong Hyeon always asked her to put the pin on his clothes no matter what he wore.

Mrs. Yeom couldn’t help but to be curious about the badge so she asked what it was and Cheon told her that it’s Daesan group badge that he enjoyed wearing back then. Yeom Jang Seon’s wife thought that maybe Dongjoo/Seong Hyeon was really into Daesan ever since he was a child for some reason and he asked her husband to let her meet him one day. 

Mr. Yeom was trying to convince his wife or more like brainwash his wife saying that it’s not the same child even though it’s so obvious that it was the same kid so the wife had no choice but to pretend that her husband is right after all even though she couldn’t help but to say that they are similar looking.

Dongjoo was relieved that Eunnam was safe and he grabbed her hand and walked out of the place. Dongjoo told Eunnam to go sit in her car while he was beating some guy. Man, Hyungsik looks so hot when he is kicking ass although I’m not condoning violence or anything. 

Dongjoo had a plan to basically screw with his enemies so he used the phones he had to play a trick on them all. 

Yeom got a call and also Cheon got a call too. On Cheon’s phone the caller ID was an unknown number while Mr. Yeom’s caller ID was Heo Ildo, at least on the surface it seemed that way. 

Yeom Jang Seon thought he was speaking with Heo Ildo so he was already talking about Dongjoo’s funeral thinking that he’s dead but the person on the other line was none other than Dongjoo himself and the way he said, Hey Yeom, it’s me…SEO DONGJOO. Wow, he used to talk to Mr.Yeom so formally but now the younger man talks down to the older man. 

I loved the way Dongjoo taunted the weasel Yeom by saying that it’s the way of the world for the older person to die first and that’s what his madam Pi told him long ago so Dongjoo should be the one preparing Mr. Yeom’s funeral since he is the younger one here.

Dongjoo was listing all the things that Yeom and company did to him and obviously his sister’s death was what completely pushed him over the edge more than anything. Dongjoo wanted to get back at Mr. Yeom in  full for all the pain he caused but obviously Yeom still can’t seem to give up. Mr. Yeom still wants Dongjoo dead no matter what. 

Dongjoo already knows what’s up but the stupid Mr. Yeom still wants to deny that his sister’s death has nothing to do with him and also Dongjoo knows about the fact that Mr. Yeom wants to harm Eunnam as well but he tries to play stupid.

Mr. Cheon handed Mr. Yeom his phone and Yeom thought that he was speaking to the administrator man when it was Dongjoo on the other end again. It was stupid of Yeom to think that it was the administrator guy on the other end so he blurted everything out about Eunnam’s case. Then Mr. Yeom ordered the person on the other end to hurry up and finish Dongjoo but he had no idea that Dongjoo’s on the other end of the line again.

Dongjoo was taunting Yeom again and practically making fun of him by saying I’m not the Mr. Administrator man but I’m Mr. Seo Dongjoo and I’m sorry but it’s impossible to finish me off. 

Yeom was wondering why the administrator went over to see Dongjoo and Cheon thought that he went over to take revenge on Dongjoo for Mr. Cho’s sake. Mr. Cheon thought Dongjoo ate the cinnamon covered dessert without knowing it but Yeom couldn’t get over the fact that Dongjoo knew about it all along but he risked his life and ate it anyway and this makes him a scary guy which Yeom had no idea about at all.

Once everything was sorted out with Eunnam, Dongjoo took off in his motorcycle looking cool. Eunnam didn’t want him to worry about her since she’s gonna go to the safest place that she could possibly be.

Chairman Cha was acting like a little boy while going on a motorcycle ride with Seonwoo, his illegitimate son. Unfortunately though, Mr. Cha couldn’t remember where he lived so he kept on saying, RIGHT TURN! RIGHT TURN! RIGHT TURN!

From the looks of it Ji Seonwoo did live with his old father when he was a little toddler. Seonwoo thought that maybe he should just drop the old man off at the police station because he thought the police would be able to help him find his way back home. 

Taeyun, Deokhui, Gukhui, Butler Gong, Chef Do and his wife were all looking for the old chairman to no avail. Chef Do was worried sick because the old chairman didn’t eat much before heading out the door. 

Seonwoo started recognizing the place and he thought he would’ve been able to bring him home safe and sound if the chairman just told him his address. Chairman Cha was making a lot of noise and acting like a little kid and from what I understand dementia does cause people to age backwards mentally.

Taeyun was so happy that his grandfather was back safely. However, Deokhui seeing her son Taeyun and Ji Seonwoo meet again did not sit well with her of course. Taeyun was telling his grandfather that his mother was worried sick about the chairman but unfortunately he didn’t recognize her. Well, the chairman didn’t seem to recognize Ji Seonwoo either so I don’t know. At this point, the old chairman’s memory is very selective.

Chairman Cha spoke formally to Deokhui as if she’s a complete stranger or something which made her devastated and it shocked Gukhui too. The old man also said that Deokhui doesn’t need to worry about his well-being from now on because his son will be taking care of him.

Mr. Chairman was still saying, RIGHT TURN as if it’s some childish game and Seonwoo said that they are not playing this game anymore and that he looked sad like a little child. The chairman refers to Seonwoo as his son but he keeps on referring to him as grandpa but it makes sense though cus he looks old enough to be his grandpa instead of his dad.

Seonwoo brought some cookies he made at his bakery that he brought in a nice bag and handed it over to Deokui to give to Dongjoo. Seonwoo ran into the chairman on his way over to the Cha household so he could give the bag of cookies to Dongjoo. Just like Taeyun, Seonwoo also thinks of Dongjoo like a big brother.

Deokhui was not happy about this because even being in the same vicinity as Seonwoo bugs the heck out of her. Seonwoo wanted to come by again to pick up his shoes that the old man was wearing but Deokhui didn’t want him to do that and she thought it would be better off if she went to the bakery to give it to him instead.

Seonwoo was surprised that Deokhui knew where he worked but she quickly pretended that she didn’t know where he worked exactly. 

Meanwhile, Eunnam went over to Hui Cheol’s workplace and he was surprised to see her there and she told him that he told her once before that he works at the prosecution office late at night every so often.

Eunnam asked Hui Cheol to go home with her and he asked her if he goes home with her would she cancel what she said about divorcing him. Eunnam nonchalantly told Hui Cheol that their grandfather wanted to see them together. Everytime Eunnam interacts with Hui Cheol it’s so freaking awkward but I am able to understand her sentiment with everything going on but dang give the guy some dignity though….

Eunnam was staring at the sign in Hanja characters which I couldn’t really read but I’m guessing it’s something very significant? Meanwhile, Mr. Cheon was warming up and getting himself prepared for something really important.

Hui Cheol arrived to see his uncle Yeom but he looked surprised to see him so he thought maybe his wife invited him over but that wasn’t the case at all. Mr. Yeom wasn’t aware that Eunnam asked Hui Cheol to go over to her uncle in law’s home. Hui Cheol told his uncle that Eunnam told him to go over to his uncle’s house cus he wanted to see him and of course Mr. Yeom seemed surprised by all this.

Uncle Yeom seemed also surprised by the fact that Eunnam was over at the house too so he told him to just go and get some sleep instead. Basically, Hui Cheol was just a bait. Hui Cheol was stuttering when he saw Dongjoo there because he wasn’t expecting Eunnam’s ex boyfriend there.

Of course both Mr. Yeom and Mr. Cheon were stunned by what’s going on because they weren’t expecting Dongjoo at the house either. Dongjoo was walking over to Mr. Yeom and Cheon in slow motion looking cool with his black suit and his cellphone in his ear.

Yeom commanded Cheon to get his gun and shoot at Dongjoo but Cheon was hesitant and didn’t know what to do cus he was put on the spot like never before. Mr. Yeom was so frustrated that he snatched the phone away from his lackey Cheon and was about to shoot Dongjoo himself but he heard someone on the phone telling him to stop what he’s doing.

Dongjoo had someone on the phone on loudspeaker so Mr. Yeom can hear what he’s telling him to do. The person that was on the phone was Sir Lee or President Lee Cheol Yong. This higher up gentleman Lee was telling Yeom to chill out because if he doesn’t his political career could be cut short. President Lee Cheol Yong warned Yeom that if he pulls that trigger then he will even send out special forces to stop him from doing so. Then Yeom thought that wouldn’t be enough and he might have to send out the military to do that.

Dongjoo managed to take the gun away from Mr. Yeom while saying that everyone is safe now. Lee told Yeom that he should leave managing the money to Director Seo/Seo Dongjoo starting from now on. Mr. Lee gave Mr. Yeom another warning saying if he gives Dongjoo a hard time that’s like declaring war on him. Mr. Lee thinks that he helped Dongjoo and Mr. Yeom make up so now it’s up to him to take care of the rest. 

Mr. Lee’s assistant doesn’t think that it’s a good idea for his boss to push Mr. Yeom over the edge cus that can backfire on him but Lee thinks that he had no choice but to do that because Dongjoo is the one that has the info to the Swiss Bank Account.

Lee’s assistant thinks that he shouldn’t trust Seo Dongjoo even more cus he is much worse than Mr. Yeom to some degree. 

Dongjoo asked why Yeom killed him or tried to kill him. Mr. Yeom clarified to Dongjoo that it wasn’t him who made an attempt to get rid of him at the vacation spot, that was Heo Ildo’s doing to get Dongjoo out of the way for possibly ruining Taeyun’s future by taking his opportunity away with Daesan.

Yeom was curious as to why Dongjoo was bringing up old things when he was the one who made Mr. Lee help the two make up with each other. However, Dongjoo wasn’t making up with him, it was more like a truce than anything else at this point in their relationship. Dongjoo doesn’t plan to end the war with Mr. Yeom anytime soon, probably not until one of them dies for good I guess.

Yeom was taunting Dongjoo saying that he should just shoot him and get it out of the way but Dongjoo taunted him back by saying, yeah I will gradually think about doing that one of these days….

Meanwhile, back at the Cha family household, Deokhui was having problems going to sleep so she was drinking some tea to calm her down but it wasn’t helping much so Ildo suggested that perhaps she should have an alcoholic drink to ease her mind.

Apparently, Deokhui is avoiding alcohol because she knows that once she starts she might not be able to stop. Deokhui was telling her husband that her father was suffering to the point where he didn’t know where he was so he was walking around barefooted and lost. Deokhui knew that Ildo knew about her father’s condition way before she did but he didn’t tell her because he was worried that she might get too shocked by the news.

Deokhui was telling Ildo that Ji Seonwoo came by and told her that he ran into her on his way over to bring the cookies that he  baked for Dongjoo. After Ji Seonwoo left, she was pondering and wishing that Ildo could get rid of Seo Dongjoo once and for all while she was sipping her delicious tea. 

Chairman Cha was delighted to see Dongjoo back again and he was so happy that he called for Butler Gong to welcome him too. However, Butler Gong’s facial expression looked more like a concerned one for some reason.

Chairman Cha told Dongjoo that he got lost while thinking about Dongjoo. Dongjoo couldn’t help but to show concern after hearing that but Butler Gong told him he’s all better now. It was obvious that Chairman Cha cared about Dongjoo a lot because he ordered Butler Gong to get Chef Do to make something nutritious for Dongjoo.

Dongjoo told Chairman Cha that he’s willing to not waste time in making Ji Seonwoo Cha Seonwoo ASAP which surprised the chairman a little bit. Then the old chairman started to laugh out loud because what Dongjoo said seemed like an indicator that Dongjoo was completely back to normal.

Mr. Bae Wonbae was done taking care of Dongjoo since he is not at the hospital anymore so he packed up and left the place. It’s funny how Bae is such a chameleon since he appears like a different person every time Dongjoo is in need. I can’t help but to wonder that Madam Pi is the one who sent him to make sure that Dongjoo is doing okay wherever he goes.

Dr. Kang’s father was having phone problems and he was asking his daughter Yiyeon to help him with it. Dr. Yiheyon got him a new ipad/tablet and he wanted his daughter to help him move photos from his phone to his new tablet/ipad. As Dr. Kang was showing her dad how to transfer photos from one device to another and then she discovered a strange looking photo. 

Dr Kang was wondering if the photo was taken with the polaroid camera then she commented on how handsome Ildo looked when he was younger but her father corrected her by saying that’s not Ildo. Yihyeon’s dad was telling her that the good looking one is Yeo Soonho then he was gonna get into him in detail by mentioning Deokhui’s name but decided not to go there. Dr Kang’s father told her that Yeo Soonho passed away due to a car accident so that’s why he tries to stop her from driving during dusk/dawn.

I love how Dongjoo was walking with swag in his nice designer/executive suit with the cool background music that makes Dongjoo seem even cooler. Dongjoo was walking over to the CEO’s office, more like Heo Ildo’s office to warn him that he is an attempted murderer who tried to take his life away and he will utilize his weakness to the fullest.

Episode 10 started out with Dongjoo looking swag with his designer suit, walking towards Mr. Heo then warning him that he was gonna be returning to Daesan as the Executive Secretary for Chairman Cha. Man, Hyungsik’s low voice is so darn sexy!

Heo Ildo asked Dongjoo when his memory fully came back and at the same time he was suspicious of Dongjoo losing his memory at all, meaning that he never lost it in the first place and he may be right on this…..

Dongjoo was trying to convince Mr. Heo that if he didn’t lose his memory at all then he wouldn’t risk his own life to try to save the man who tried to kill him.

When Dongjoo brought Heo Ildo out of the water he fainted but Mr. Bae thought he was dead so he was trying to snap him out of it then Dongjoo said he shouldn’t worry about him too much because he was the one who shot him with the gun to take him out which means that Dongjoo did have his memory intact all along. This confused Bae because he thought it was strange that Dongjoo saved Heo Ildo when he was the one who shot him with the gun to kill him. Dongjoo told Mr. Bae that he saved Heo Ildo to get his revenge.

Heo Ildo witnessed Dongjoo back at Daesan and meeting with some people which bothered him a bit or more like a lot. Dongjoo was meeting with Director Choi who Chairman Cha wants to make into a CEO/ Vice Chairman of the company. Dongjoo wants to get all the board of directors together to wrap up the promotion process for Mr. Choi.

Mr. Yeom decided to give the Chairman a visit and Mr. Cha was surprised by Yeom Jang Seon sitting on the comfy sofa waiting for him. Mr. Yeom made it seem as if he worked really hard to give Chairman Cha what he’s been wanting from him for quite a while now. Yeom made it seem as if he had to work super hard to convince the great gentleman Lee to listen to his requests. 

Yeom was basically tricking the chairman into thinking that he is gaining something from this so that’s why the chairman told Yeom that he will give him something in return as well. 

Mr. Yeom gave Chairman Cha some hints by telling Daesan’s chairman that the gold bars have been pretty high compared to the dollars these days. The Chairman ordered Director Seo to deposit it to his account to make his so-called boss Mr. Lee happy and satisfied.

Dongjoo was being agreeable by saying that he will deposit the money directly over to the Swiss Account asap. However, Mr. Heo thought that it would be better for his father in law to show his appreciation towards Mr. Yeom directly instead of depositing it to the Swiss Account.

Dongjoo advised the Chairman that Mr. Yeom cares more about saving face and being more confident in front of him is more important than anything else. Obviously, Dongjoo and Ildo were giving the chairman different advice.

Mr. Yeom was playing dumb while the chairman was bragging and showing how delighted he is about Dongjoo’s memory fully back to normal. The Chairman asked Yeom if he is happy about Dongjoo’s memory being back and he answered that he feels the same although he is so not happy that Dongjoo is fully back because he obviously wants Seo completely dead!

The chairman thinks that Ildo feels relieved that there is a capable guy like Dongjoo who is able to fully comprehend Mr. Yeom/ The chancellor and his so-called boss Mr. Lee. The chairman wants Mr. Yeom to help Ildo, his eldest son in law, grow into someone big and successful. 

Chairman Cha’s plan was to promote Director Choi first then plan to hand it over to Ildo if the public opinion is positive about that. This plan of Chairman Cha did not sit well with Mr. Yeom who had even bigger plans. Yeom Jang Seon was so pissed off that he beat the crap out of Heo Ildo with his wooden CEO sign.

Yeom Jang Seon was beating up Heo Ildo so badly that it took him back to the past when he first encountered Mr. Yeom when he was a young man way back in the day. 

Mr. Yeom was blaming Ildo for not being able to get rid of Seo Dongjoo properly and now they have to deal with the repercussions of it. Yeom wanted to know why he attacked the administrator when he was trying to take out Seo Dongjoo like Mr. Yeom wanted. Mr. Yeom thought that maybe Ildo had these compassionate feelings towards Dongjoo for whatever reason. But Ildo made sure to let Yeom know that wasn’t the case at all. Ildo said to Mr. Yeom that he  saw his son Taeyun in the hospital room with Dongjoo who was worried about him which made him make the wrong call momentarily. Mr. Heo let Mr. Yeom know that he won’t make that kind of silly mistake ever again.

Mr. Yeom thought that Ildo made his personal feelings get in the way of making decisions that could cost them in the long run. Mr.Yeom said that the moment he encountered Ildo he cared about him more than his own family.

Mr. Heo explained to Mr. Yeom that if they go with their original plan which was for him to take over Daesan Group then it would be a piece of cake to get the money prepared for the patriotic fund. If Yeom just goes along with this plan then he wouldn’t have to drag Director Seo into this mess either.

Yeom Jang Seon told Heo Ildo that if Ildo was able to successfully complete this mission then Mr. Lee would null and void his plan to intervene. 

Meanwhile at the bakery/coffee shop, Ji Seonwoo was telling his mom that he helped the old man Cha find his way back home. Seonwoo was telling his mom that he felt bad for the old man because he was walking around barefooted while calling a stranger like him his son. Seonwoo felt bad that he thought about being good to Mr. Cha when he comes by again.

Deokhui decided to go over to Ji Seonwoo’s bakery to bring Seonwoo’s shoes back from before and also have a serious chit chat with Seonwoo’s mother too while she’s at it. Deokhui told Seonwoo’s mother that she came by to see what her father has been eating for his health purposes. She needed to know about it.

Seonwoo’s mother had nothing more to talk about with Deokhui but she stopped her by stepping on her foot. Deokhui proclaimed that it won’t be over until she gets up and if she doesn’t want to be humiliated in front of Seonwoo then she should just do as she’s told. Deokhui really treats Seonwoo’s mother like a servant which is so bad of her. I’m so not used to this coming from the actress Kim Jungran cus in What Happens to my family she’s just an immature and silly woman living with the Cha family but here she is just a little too ambitious to the point where she could possibly harm somebody foreals.

Apparently, Ji Youngsoo, Seonwoo’s mother, promised the Cha family that she would never roam around the Cha household and of course Youngsoo never forgot about that promise. 

In order for Ji Youngsoo to survive and live her life she had no choice but to promise the Cha family that she would never go near the Cha household and according to Deokhui they were safe because she kept that promise till now. Deokhui warned Youngsoo to never send her son over to tempt him although that was never her intention but Deokhui just can’t stand her because she wants Taeyun to inherit Daesan not Seonwoo.

It was so weird seeing Seo Dongjoo interacting with Cha Deokhui, just the two of them without anybody around. I don’t think I really have seen just the two of them interact in Buried Hearts until episode 10 but it’s so odd how they address each other so formally since I’m used to seeing these two in What Happens to my family and in that show they were cousins so of course they got along a lot better than in Buried Hearts.

Chairman Cha threw Dongjoo a little welcome back party although it was just having a meal together as a family but Deokhui didn’t come to join them which makes sense since Deokhui wants Dongjoo gone although she wants all of her obstacles to be done with cus Daesan belongs to Taeyun in her mind.

Deokui knew that Dongjoo was working on Ji Seonwoo becoming Cha Seonwoo and she warned him that would never happen in a million years, at least not under her watch.

Deokhui said that once the chairman Cha’s dementia gets worse, all of Dongjoo’s hard work would go down the drain along with it and Dongjoo got right back at her saying that her father made him get involved in making Ji Seonwoo Cha Seonwoo so it wouldn’t go down the drain.

Deokhui definitely does not want Dongjoo involved in family matters and to her he is not part of the family although Chairman Cha does kind of think of him like a grandson to some degree.

Dongjoo told Deokhui that this Ji Seonwoo situation is beyond family matters and it’s more like a matter to Daesan group which he is a part of so he does have the right to be involved in this situation for making Ji Seonwoo Cha Seonwoo.

Dongjoo does understand that Deokhui is so sensitive about this issue because she is overly into Taeyun’s future but she will regret it if she reduces this matter to a petty family matter when it’s more than that. 

Dongjoo is becoming closer and closer to Ji Seonwoo and Ji Youngsoo and Deokhui is not liking this at all. Dongjoo is trying to convince Seonwoo’s mother to cooperate with him and Chairman Cha to make Ji Seonwoo become Cha Seonwoo. 

Dongjoo was trying his best to push all the right buttons which was to bring up her hardship for raising Seonwoo to become Cha Seonwoo one day and become legit. Dongjoo seems to be aware that Ji Seonwoo opened up a bakery nearby so the Chairman can freely come and go so Mr. Cha would be able to see Seonwoo too while he’s at it.

Seonwoo’s mom thought that Dongjoo was being ridiculous because she was trying to make it seem as if she opened up her bakery to survive but Dongjoo was saying that she doesn’t have to put up a front with him. Seonwoo’s mom didn’t really mind his son becoming Cha Seonwoo but she still wasn’t convinced that would be possible at all. However, Dongjoo was saying that he would be able to make it happen as long as she puts her trust in him.

Meanwhile, Dongjoo called Seonwoo on his phone and told him he had something to say to him and whatever he said made him look like he was on cloud nine or something.

Mr. Bae was at the instrument shop playing the guitar with a wig on and now I’m starting to think that it’s a running gag because he turns into different things, or more like shape shifts into a different person in every scene that he’s in with Buried Hearts.

Dongjoo went over to see Myung Taeguem again and this time they were after the real estate that was hidden under Yeom Jang Seon’s name. Myung Taegum managed to find almost all of the real estate under his name but Dongjoo wasn’t satisfied with that because he wanted to find every single one of them. Dongjoo wanted a cup of coffee because he was getting a bit sleepy but unfortunately Taeguem didn’t have coffee at her shop so she offered him some Kopiko candy. The Kopiko candy reminded me of Dr. Slump all over again. The scenes where he gave Kopiko to Yoon Park in Dr. Slump and also he received some Kopiko from Park Shinhye on DS and now Myung Taegum giving him Kopiko in Buried Hearts, so strange hehehe…

Dongjoo wants to find all the people that Yeom put in jail while he was the prosecutor and people that were connected to it as well. Dongjoo was observing an old photo that was on the tablet with curious eyes. According to Myung Taegum, the photo was transferred over to the tablet/ipad from Heo Ildo’s phone but she was surprised about that. Taegeum made it seem as if it wasn’t a big deal and it’s just a photo that his friend Kang Sung sent to him before they were messing with Mr. Heo’s phone.

Ildo’s friend and Dr. Kang’s father first got his job in the orchards; they all came to congratulate him. Deokhui, Eunnam’s father, Ildo and some person named Kyungwon all went over there to celebrate with Mr. Kang for getting a job in the orchards. Dr. Kang’s father was looking back to the good old days when they were young. Dr. Yihyeon’s father used that excuse to see Soonho and also pour him a drink while he was in his celebratory mood.

Taegum thought it was weird that there was no record of anything on the administrator’s phone since he deletes all of his activities right away. The administrator is known to manage everything to a tee since that’s his job after all. 

Taeguem played a video of Jo Yangchoon saying something significant and he said that Yeom Jang Seon was the man behind it all and pretty much made him do everything. Jo Yangchoon mentioned something about Mindeullae which was like a secret code of some kind.

Dongjoo went over to meet with Jo Yangchoon where he’s put away for the time being and Mr. Seo was nice enough to take a bag full of snacks to give to Mr. Jo which he fully enjoyed. Jo Yangchoon was enjoying the snacks so much that he looked really famished for quite some time.

Mr. Jo asked Dongjoo if he’s ever heard of the Mindeulle Team before and obviously he had no idea what that was. There was this thing called the Mindeulle team which disbanded so suddenly without a reason and all the files from there disappeared without a trace. Yeom Jang Seon has been looking for that thing for a long time now. 

Dongjoo was talking about what he heard from Jo Yangchoon to Chairman Cha. And according to what Dongjoo told the old Chairman, he thinks that there’s a high chance that the reporters in the media might know about this as well. 

Dongjoo was discussing their plans with Mr. Bae and he told the older man that it would be a good idea for them to get more info on Yeom Jang Seon through Jo Yangchoon which Bae seemed to agree with. Dongjoo wants to somehow acquire the resources on the Mindeulle thing. Mr. Bae was willing to go along with Dongjoo’s plans for now.

After meeting with Jo Yangchoon and then discussing his plans with Bae, he went over to the building where the administrator guy was to talk to him about Mindeulle and the administrator guy said that there was no such thing as that, it’s just a rumor someone made up.

Dongjoo thought the best way to get the administrator to open his mouth is to mention something about Jo Yangchoon saying that he is earnestly waiting for him which could possibly make him open his mouth for Yangchoon’s sake.

Dongjoo taunted the administrator saying that maybe Jo Yangchoon is no use to him then addressed his old title and his full name which shocked the administrator or rather Mr. Oh Jangwoo, the previous team leader of the national security forces.

After Dongjoo was done talking with the administrator guy he came back out to have a chit chat with Mr. Bae. Bae was talking about the cinnamon attack that Heo Ildo and Yeom Jang Seon pulled on Dongjoo not too long ago. Dongjoo was all smiles until Bae brought up his sister Agenes. Mr. Bae was talking about how Dongjoo had to overcome many risky situations where he almost died because of the slow reaction of the person that’s high and mighty. Mr. Bae couldn’t help but to be proud of Dongjoo for being so persistent when he was in the valley of the shadow of death one too many times. Dongjoo made it seem that if it weren’t for Bae hyung and Taegum he would’ve been dead by now. 

The administrator texted Mr. Yeom to let him know about Dongjoo being aware of the Mindeulle files, Mr Cheon let Yeom know what’s been going on. The administrator told Mr. Yeom via text that Dongjoo was on his way to obtain the resources on the Mindeulle file.

Bae went over to the place where Yangchoon was locked up which didn’t look like an official jail but like a placeholder for a petty crook like Mr. Jo. Bae told Yangchoon that he was gonna call the administrator guy so they can talk to each other, which they haven’t done in a while. Yangchoon thinks of the administrator man like a big brother and he raised him so he was glad to hear from him again but even better because they did facetime so they were able to see each other’s face too. 

Yangchoon was delighted to see and hear from the administrator and vice versa. Yangchoon was making sure that the man didn’t abandon him and will come and get him sooner or later or at least that’s what he was hoping for anyway. The administrator told Yangchoon to hang in there and he mentioned Seo Dongjoo’s name then Bae interrupted him from finishing his sentence. Bae cut him off so he could ask the administrator guy about when he is gonna bring the Mindeulle file to him. 

Bae was curious as to why Yeom was looking for the Mindeulle files so badly and Dongjoo said it was because there was a time when he was a public servant he did some things that he wasn’t supposed to.

Mr. Cheon was sent by Yeom to go over and talk with the administrator man and he told Cheon that once they promise to keep him safe, he will hand over the Mindeulle files to him. Mr. Oh the administrator was telling Mr. Cheon the lackey of Yeom that there’s a high chance that Jo Yangchoon spilled the beans about the Mindeulle files to Seo Dongjoo. Mr. Cheon said that they will protect the administrator once he takes care of Jo Yangchoon. 

Mr. Cheon was looking at his computer screen monitoring everything that was happening and keeping track of everything. The administrator guy went to where Jo Yangchoon was and there was another man in a nice black suit looking around but he got captured by Mr. Bae.

The administrator managed to get into the room that Jo was locked in and then he was able to pull off almost taking care of Mr. Jo Yangchoon but unfortunately he pulled away from the administrator choking him and he was about to be the one choking Mr. Oh. However, Dongjoo changed his mind by locking both of them up in the shack jail. Of course Jo Yangchoon was pissed because Dongjoo didn’t keep his end of the bargain.

Dongjoo told Mr. Jo that they should discuss how they would bring the Mindeulle files to him while having fun together. I love the way Dongjoo talks down to the two men with his low but sexy ass voice! ARGH!

Cha Deokhui was having a hard time getting to sleep and she was telling her husband how she’s been worried about Taeyun since he hasn’t been eating very well lately. Deokhui was worried about Taeyun cus that’s his son but then the thing that concerns her the most is Seo Dongjoo. After his wife expressed her distress to him, Heo Ildo couldn’t help but to think about what Dongjoo said to him earlier about utilizing his weakness fully then the phone rang. 

Mr. Kang, Yihyeon’s father called Deokhui’s phone because he couldn’t reach Ildo on his own phone. Kang Sung, Ildo’s friend was wondering why he couldn’t reach him through his phone and he told him it’s because he lost his phone. Kang Sung asked if he received a photo that he sent him but of course not since he lost his phone and all.

As soon as Ildo hung up the phone with his friend Kang Sung, he sent him that photo he was talking about to Deokhui’s phone. Deokhui saw the photo and then immediately laid down on the bed. She even demanded her husband to turn off the light cus obviously she didn’t want to think about the contents of that particular photo.

The moment Ildo did what he was told and turned off the light, Deokhui softly said that she was the one who took that photo way back when. Deokhui took herself back to the days when she was definitely younger and she was remembering what their friend Kang Sung said to her, he was complimenting her photo taking ability.

Mr. Kang was bragging to the child that the lady did a good job in taking that photo and the boy agreed. The little boy did look like a little girl cus he looked so pretty. The boy wanted to keep the photo because he liked it so much. Mr. Kang couldn’t say no because the boy really wanted that photo so he put it in his little jacket pocket which looked like to be an elementary school uniform of some sort.

Deokhui’s husband wanted her to be part of the picture and so did their mutual friend Mr. Kang but she refused to be a part of it but in a polite way of course. The boy told his mom that they should pose the same way as earlier for the photo but I noticed something in these scenes regarding this photo. The boy/ Dongjoo’s mother and Eunnam’s father Yeo Soonho seemed rather close and also Deokhui looked bothered by something. I think the reason why Deokhui was bothered was because of Dongjoo’s mom and Eunnam’s father looking rather close but we’ll see more about this in future episodes I suppose. It also didn’t help that Yeo Soonho, her husband, was carrying the boy as if he was his own son….

For some strange reason Yeo Soonho, the boy and his mother looked more like a family then Soonho and Deokhui. I wonder where Eunnam was at during this time….

Dongjoo was at home thinking about some of the things that happened in the past, particularly the conversation he had with his sister Agenes. Dongjoo was thinking about how he expressed his desire to go meet with their dad, Professor Lee Soopyung. 

Dongjoo was telling his sister that he saw her crying while looking at the picture of the Professor on the university website. Dongjoo wanted to meet this professor guy that’s supposed to be their father but sister Agenes was not interested in doing so.

It took a while for sister Agenes to erase all of the negative feelings towards that man and she didn’t want to go through that process again by meeting up with him. Sister Agnes wanted Dongjoo to pretend that he doesn’t exist and erase him from his mind completely. 

Dongjoo/Hyungsik looked so good in his brown semi dress jacket, it looked so good with his semi long hair but anyway … .Dongjoo decided to go look for Professor Lee himself and when he went to his office he wasn’t there. However, Dongjoo ran into a man who was babysitting Professor Lee’s office. The man who came to water Professor Lee’s plants was none other than Yeom Hui Cheol’s father who seemed like a nice man. Hui Cheol’s father recognized Dongjoo and the younger man said he saw the older man during Hui Cheol’s wedding with Eunnam then Hui Cheol’s father continued on and said they saw each other way back then when the two boys were in high school at the principal’s office of Kang Shin High. Dongjoo was surprised that Hui Cheol’s father remembered all that.

Hui Cheol’s father didn’t recognize Dongjoo at the wedding but he realized later on that it was the same Dongjoo from Kang Shin High school who went to school with his son. Hui Cheol’s father seemed like a cool guy saying things that could be words of comfort to Dongjoo. The younger Mr. Yeom said that he felt bad that his brother Yeom Jang Seon had to be involved in the incident between Dongjoo and Hui Cheol. Hui Cheol’s father also added that Dongjoo and Hui Cheol would’ve gotten along fine if his older brother didn’t get involved between the two  with their high school rugby team.

Hui Cheol’s father was willing to send the message that he has for Professor Lee. Dongjoo came to let Professor Lee know that Sister Agenes passed away recently. However, according to Mr. Yeom he heard that Professor Lee is already aware of sister Agnes’s death but Dongjoo was confused about this fact.

Hui Cheol’s father said that most likely the church contacted Professor Lee since they are aware of the fact that Sister Agnes is his daughter but it seemed like Dongjoo wasn’t aware that the church already notified Professor Lee about sister Agnes’s death.

Dongjoo just wanted Professor Lee to know about Agnes’s death because when she was alive she always missed her father very much and he witnessed that time and time again so he had to come and deliver the message that Agnes is no longer around. Dongjoo paused for a bit and said that he also wanted to meet his dad professor Lee for some time too. However, Dongjoo looked so sad and I guess I can completely understand going back empty handed to some degree. It didn’t help that they played some sort of a sad and melodic song in the background too.

Dongjoo went over to Madam Pi’s office and she ordered him a bowl of black bean noodles. While Dongjoo was eating he thought about what Hui Cheol’s father told him hours ago. Dongjooo heard something shocking and that was, “Mr. Seo Dongjoo, you are not Professor Lee’s son..” by that soft Mr Yeom’s voice which was a sound of shock to him and I don’t blame him for feeling that way.

Since Agnes was Professor Lee’s real daughter and Dongjoo is not his real son so this doesn’t really make them blood related siblings so he had to ask Madam Pi about their relations. Dongjoo asked Madam Pi if she was already aware about the fact that he is not really Agnes’s real brother.

Madam Pi owns a golf practice shop and Dongjoo came by her office to ask about his past and childhood. Madam Pi thought that Dongjoo was asking real questions after enjoying a bowl of double black bean noodles.

Dongjoo decided to major in economics to be more like professor Lee who he thought was his father at one point. Obviously, Dongjoo wanted to take after his father thinking that Professor Lee was his father but he turned out to be just the father to Sister Agnes and he looked so broken after hearing all this. No wonder Dongjoo looked all depressed on his way out of the university.

Dongjoo was like, I’m not professor Lee’s son and I’m not even my mother’s son then who the heck am I? I feel bad for Dongjoo because there seems to be a big gap in his childhood. Madam Pi couldn’t believe what Dongjoo was saying though. Madam Pi was asking Dongjoo who told him all that and he said his mother Go Yoojin said all that to him. 

Hui Cheol’s father made it seem as if Dongjoo’s mom dated professor Lee at one point and one day came to him and asked him for help. According to the younger Mr. Yeom, Dongjoo’s mother Go Yoojin adopted a son so her daughter wouldn’t be so lonely and she was having a hard time financially. 

Dongjoo was telling Madam Pi that Agnes went over to see professor Lee before becoming a nun and he wanted to go with her to meet him too but then he had to refrain from doing so. Dongjoo was a talented rugby player and heard that he would go on the national team, he got into the university for economics after taking an exam, when he got admitted into Daesan Group and finally when he got promoted to become the executive secretary to the chairman were the times when he wanted to see his so called father so badly. Dongjoo wanted to ask him why he abandoned him and Agnes when he gets to meet him one day and ask him if he could go and visit him from time to time.

Dongjoo was wondering where his mother picked him up from and Madam Pi told him that he was the one that came over to her. According to Madam Pi, Dongjoo walked over to his mom and Hyunjoo, which he couldn’t believe at all. Dongjoo thought that Madam Pi was making it up but it was true that Dongjoo walked over to Go Yujin and Hyunjoo. Dongjoo couldn’t believe what Madam Pi was saying and I felt for him because he was hearing all these things that he was so clueless about.

Madam Pi went over to the safe to get something to show to Dongjoo and it was an old metal box. Dongjoo was shocked to find his old childhood item inside of an old metal case inside of a safe too on top of that. Madam Pi said to Dongjoo that the little outfit in the metal box was what he wore when he first went over to Hyunjoo’s house. 

Hyunjoo gave Dongjoo’s little outfit that he wore when he was just a boy to Madam Pi before she went into the monastery. Dongjoo also found the little Daesan badge that he used to wear all the time as a child. Madam Pi thought one of the main reasons why  she put Dongjoo’s childhood clothing in the metal box was because the polaroid photo was in the pocket.

Dongjoo was wondering if that little boy in the photo was really him and Madam Pi said yes which fascinated him. Dongjoo was curious as to how Madam Pi knows that the little boy is really him or not.

Madam Pi was saying that she had to know since she practically raised the boy besides his mother Go Yujin so that’s why he should just agree with what she’s saying then suddenly Dongjoo took out his phone so he would be able to compare the photo on his phone and the one they found in the metal box.

Madam Pi realized that they are the same picture. Madam Pi looked at the man holding the little boy and assumed that it could possibly be his father and if this is true then it would make Dongjoo and Eunnam actual siblings. If Dongjoo and Eunnam were actual siblings that would be so brutal because on Ep 1 they did something pretty deep if ya’ll know what I mean…..Dongjoo was deep in thought and looked a little bothered and I wouldn’t blame him after hearing all that.

Meanwhile, Yeom Jang Seon was over at Sir Lee’s office and they called each other big brother and little brother which is so darn tackey. Mr. Lee was wondering why Mr. Yeom was messing with his relative’s son and he said that he had to teach him a lesson to remind him of their relationship. 

There was some sort of an investigation going on and Mr. Lee just couldn’t come out and tell them to stop so he was telling Yeom to make them stop the investigation. Yeom was telling Lee that it’s better for the investigation to happen because if there is none then people would be more suspicious about it. 

Eunnam was sleeping and when she woke up she was wondering why Hui Cheol was up so early. Hui Cheol didn’t get any sleep because he was thinking deeply about something. Then he got right to it and asked her if she came back home because he begged her to come back when she initially left the house with all her stuff.

Hui Cheol wanted an honest answer and it looked like he was willing to move on if he really had to save his dignity. Unfortunately, Hui Cheol didn’t like Eunnam’s answer. Eunnam was basically saying that she came back because she didn’t want to pay a penalty fee for cancelling their marriage and it wasn’t about Hui Cheol’s dignity at all. I hate to say this but I really feel that Eunnam doesn’t deserve Dongjoo nor Hui Cheol…..I can’t stress this enough, she is really selfish!

After hearing Eunnam’s answer Hui Cheol looked devastated and rightfully so. Oh and Eunnam said sorry to Hui Cheol and  it didn’t sound all that sincere and her face still annoys me because it looks as if she chewed on something bad ya know….

Hui Cheol decided to free her for his dignity and pride mainly although he was willing to take care of the money end of things for her. Eunnam’s answer was devastating for him to hear that he wanted her out of the house immediately. I’m a little shocked by this because I thought he was gonna beg Eunnam to love him till the bitter end but I guess he is the type of guy who wants to remain sane by keeping his male dignity. Hui Cheol packed a little bag for her with her clothes and he told her that he’ll send the rest of her stuff to her later but Eunnam’s face was priceless when he said that.

Hui Cheol said that Eunnam doesn’t need to worry about paying the penalty fee since he is the one kicking her out and divorcing her. So now all he would have to do is get the divorce papers and he said it wouldn’t be that difficult since they don’t have a child between them. Hui Cheol also told Eunnam that he’ll tell his uncle and aunt about the divorce but I’m surprised that Eunnam’s face looked like shit, I mean…shouldn’t she be happy about all this since she would be able to go back to her beloved Dongjoo?!

Hui Cheol asked Eunnam if she was planning to go back to Dongjoo after divorcing him.  Hui Cheol saved his dignity alright, I’m not a huge fan of Hui Cheol but he’s too good for Eunnam just like how Dongjoo is too great for her too. Hui Cheol looked like he was in emotional pain and rightfully so. He told her that he was gonna take a shower and he wanted to see her gone by the time he got out of the shower.

Eunnam was all packed up heading back to the Cha family house and she saw Dongjoo’s car parked nearby and decided to go over there. Dongjoo looked surprised to see her and she announced her divorce to him. Dongjoo was so into studying the picture that he didn’t see Eunnam coming and she was asking him what he was looking at so thoroughly then he was explaining to her about the professor who abandoned him and Sister Agnes. Dongjoo couldn’t finish what he was saying because Eunnam snatched the photo he was holding and asked him where he got it from. Eunnam was smiling while looking at the picture and Dongjoo asked her if she knew that man and she agreed. Eunnam paused for a bit and answered that the good looking man in that photo is her dad and Dongjoo had a shocked face on him which is completely understandable. Dongjoo couldn’t help but to hide his shock and Eunnam didn’t know why his face looked the way it did…..

Madam Pi said that the man who was holding him could be his dad and Eunnam said that the man holding the little boy is her dad and this could  mean that Dongjoo and Eunnam are the real siblings instead of Dongjoo and Hyunjoo/Sister Agnes. If this were to be true it would be horrible….it would be incest….because they did get it on back in Episode 1. It would be a lot worse if the two were siblings and Eunnam was pregnant with his baby from what they did back in Episode one….Eunnam really is bad news…..

I have a feeling that starting from Episode 11 to the final episode it’s gonna get super juicy cus they are gonna reveal a lot of things that they were playing around with.
