Sister Agenes’ death is bringing a lot to the surface and through her death I was able to learn a lot about Dongjoo’s background. I sort of had a feeling that Agnes could possibly be Dongjoo’s actual sister but that turned out to be true. Also, I was thinking that Butler Gong could possibly be his mother but at the same I wasn’t sure if that could be the case because there was a scene where it was kinda obvious that his parents died in a car accident.

But the beginning of Episode 7 told us through Madam Pi that Dongjoo’s mother passed away when he was a little boy and she was the one that raised him and his sister Hyun Joo. 

Another thing I learned in the first 10 minutes of episode 7 was that Seo Dongjoo was his actual name and his older sister Agnes’s name was Seo Hyunjoo.

Mr. Yeom realized that Dongjoo really couldn’t remember anything because he was sitting in the first row of the pew overhearing Dongjoo and Madam Pi’s conversation. Dongjoo wasn’t able to remember who Madam Pi was when she was the one who practically raised him and his sister after his mother passed away.

Yeom realized that he was screwed since Dongjoo wasn’t putting on a show and his memory is really gone. Yeom was pissed because he wanted to believe that Dongjoo was putting on a show since that way he would have the hope of getting his two trillion won out of his head once and for all.

It seemed like Mr Yeom and Dongjoo’s relationship goes way back. Dongjoo was in his high school rugby team and so was Hui Cheol. Hui Cheol called Dongjoo a thug even then. It’s so obvious that Hui Cheol was jealous of Dongjoo even back in high school. Dongjoo was much more talented in the sport of rugby than Hui Cheol was like how the adult Dongjoo was better at his relationship with a woman than Hui Cheol. 

I’ve been feeling bad for Hui Cheol this whole time but not anymore. Hui Cheol has this hopeless inferiority complex in front of Dongjoo. Yeom was always into bribing people even when Dongjoo and Hui Cheol were in high school.

Dongjoo and Hui Cheol got into a fight because of some guy but then Hui Cheol betrayed Dongjoo and Mr. Yeom’s son or rather Hui Cheol’s father paid all the parents of the rugby team to betray Dongjoo so he could be expelled from the school.

Then years later Dongjoo became a member of Daesan Energy and Dongjoo was obsessed about digging into company embezzlement and bribery which pissed off Yeom. This goes to show that Yeom has been shady ever since he came across Dongjoo’s life and giving him a hard time.

One of the lower henchmen of Mr Yeom was hospitalized due to Dongjoo beating the crap out of him in an earlier episode and he was waiting for Mr Yeom to come and rescue him. Someone dressed up in scrubs with a mask on led the lower level bald headed lackey of Mr. Yeom somewhere saying that he needs to get treated but that was all a cover. 

The baldie thought Mr Yeom came to rescue him but it was some guy wearing a helmet covering up his face and turned out to be Dongjoo. The bald headed lackey of Yeom was getting punched like crazy by our dear Dongjoo. Man, Hyungsik is so sexy doing his action sequences, he looks so manly doing it although I’m not someone who condones violence but this is just a drama anyways besides Hyungsik in real life is the opposite of beating people up hehehe….

Oh I forgot to mention the ring that the bald man had on his finger, I think this belonged to Dongjoo. I remember seeing the thick gold ruby ring that the balded lackey had on and I guess this ring was special to Dongjoo since I saw it a few times in some of Dongjoo’s fuzzy flashbacks. 

I think Dr. Yihyeon’s dad had no idea that the nun/Sister Agnes was Dongjoo’s sister. Mr. Kang found out about it when she was having a conversation with his daughter before going into the worship service at the church. Mr. Kang was telling his daughter that he was the one who planted the trees and plants with sister Agnes of that particular catholic church. 

Chairman Cha, Heo Ildo, and Taeyun showed up for the service too. I couldn’t help but to sing along to the song Amazing Grace that was being played with the church pipe organ.

Dongjoo was observing the ring that the bald man was wearing and the close up of him was so gorgeous. This drama is so dark but has a lot of fanservice materials like close ups of Hyungsik’s hands and feet! Like I said before I have a huge hands and feet fetish when it comes to our dear Mr. Park.

The guy that helped Dongjoo basically kidnap and beat the crap out of the lower level lackey of Mr. Yeom who mainly tortured Dongjoo was none other than our Mr. Bae Wonbae. I didn’t recognize the man in scrubs but the moment he started speaking I knew it was Bae because of his unique voice and also his authentic southern accent too.

I did not recognize Bae at first because he disguised him in a blue pair of scrubs, wig, glasses and surgical mask. The bald lackey was tied up in the ambulance car looking real bad due to Dongjoo beating the shit out of him.

Mr. Bae was clean shaven by the way unlike before and Mr. Yeom’s lackey was in his van and not the ambulance car. Dongjoo put his motorcycle helmet on and headed somewhere and Bae was also heading somewhere with his van. By the way, Hyungsik as Dongjoo looked so cool driving the motorcycle but then he looks cool no matter what kind of transportation he uses.

One of Yeom’s other lackeys called Yeom while the church service was still going on and apparently the bald lackey was at the police station because the microphone lackey guy was trying to get a hold of the baldie but the police officer answered the phone. Mr. Yeom looked like he was in shock and of course this is ruining his mood because he was already upset that Dongjoo really doesn’t have the memory of the past but on top of that one of his men is in the hands of the police? That’s definitely a no no in Yeom’s eyes. 

Fortunately, the main henchman Cheon had some photos of the man who took the baldie and was able to figure out that it was Jang Ilnam/Bae Wonbae from the island.

The way Dongjoo and Yeom were looking at each other was pretty scary and fierce although Dongjoo’s eyes looked brighter than Yeom. Mr. Yeom’s eyes were filled with rage and it looked like he could get rid of Seo Dongjoo any minute. Dongjoo’s sister Agnes was in the coffin with the lid closed finally and it was being carried towards the main church altar while Dongjoo and Yeom were having a fun little staring contest. 

For someone who lost a sister who was like a mother to him looked brighter than Mr. Yeom although once the door was closed we got to see Dongjoo’s eyes water as if he was about to cry any minute. The scene where Dongjoo was staring at Yeom  into space seemed a little drawn out but the camera did a close up on Dongjoo literally shedding tears inside deemed to be important.

Mr. Yeom saw Dongjoo’s eyes water but he didn’t get to see him cry. Dongjoo was basically holding down his tears until the door closed, then finally he released his tears. Mr. Yeom Jang Seon thinks that Dongjoo’s memory is intact but puts on a show pretending that he doesn’t remember a darn thing.

Mr. Yeom had enough of this game. It doesn’t seem like Yeom is interested in that two trillion won, for now anyways. Mr. Yeom wants to get rid of Dongjoo once and for all so he would be able to breathe again. I knew that Yeom was up to something when I saw his eyes full of rage. I can’t stand Yeom, he is such an evil villain although he started out as some cartoony mustache twirling villain but this guy is a psychopath….

It seemed like Chairman Cha didn’t know everything about Seo Dongjoo because he wasn’t sure about the older woman who was standing next to our dear Dongjoo. They were doing a farewell ceremony/ritual for Dongjoo’s sister, Agenes/Hyunjoo and while this was going on Chairman Cha was asking his grandson Taeyun about the woman who was standing next to him. I can’t believe Chairman Cha asked if that older woman was Dongjoo’s older sister when it’s so obvious that she looked old enough to be his mother but maybe it’s cus the hat was covering up her face to some degree. Then of course Taeyun corrected him and said Dongjoo’s sister is in the coffin and Chairman Cha asked if the older woman was his mother.

The conversation between Chairman Cha and Taeyun was still going on while the church choir was singing a song for the soul of the dead. Mr. Yeom was standing next to Taeyun and he was listening to what the two were talking about and also Heo Ildo was overhearing the conversation. Taeyun told his grandfather that Dongjoo grew up without a mother and this conversation between the two men made me think that there were a lot of things that Chairman Cha didn’t know about Dongjoo. At this point I feel like Mr. Yeom knows way more about Dongjoo than the old chairman.

Finally Hui Cheol and Eunnam showed up to Sister Agnes’s funeral and the way Dongjoo looked seemed serious and determined. The story seems to go deeper and deeper into the abyss at this point and it’s making me really nervous and anxious while I’m watching it.

Eunnam looked concerned and Heo Ildo sensed that perhaps Dongjoo’s memory came back due to the shock therapy that Mr. Yeom used on him earlier.

However, Mr Yeom shook his head because he realized that Dongjoo’s memory isn’t back yet although in the earlier scenes he thought that Dongjoo’s memory did come back. I guess Mr. Yeom observed Dongjoo’s behavior and if he did get his memory back he would have run over to a certain someone immediately.

It seems like Yeom isn’t really the big boss although I thought Yeom was the biggest boss in Korea. It looked like Yeom was working for somebody higher and he is nothing but a tool. Even if I thought Yeom was the big boss, I also thought he might be working for someone bigger when he brought up embezzling money funding some politician’s campaign in one of the previous episodes. We never got to see the face of that mysterious man but we definitely heard Yeom talking over the phone with him. Yeom kept on mentioning this thing called loving the country fund or patriotic fund but this is no patriotism when you use money to breed politicians……

It’s true that Yeom was funding some bigwig in politics and he came directly to his office to talk to him and ask for forgiveness. We only see a little bit of the back of his head so we as audiences were fooled just like Mr. Yeom did. The bigwig that Mr Yeom thought was talking to was one of his subordinates before and for some reason that guy decided to play a little prank for fun.

The younger man who played a prank on Yeom was the bigwig’s assistant and this pissed off Yeom to the point where he was gonna use violence on him then the younger man was saying that the bigwig politician was gonna do something to Yeom which I couldn’t really make out….Who is this invisible yet mysterious man who is making Yeom fork over the funds?

Mr. Yeom got in his fancy car looking pissed and bothered as usual then of course he asked his henchman Cheon about Dongjoo again and according to Cheon or whatever his name is, Dongjoo is still the same just asking about his past to Madam Pi.

 And by the looks of it Dongjoo’s memory hasn’t come back yet the way the henchman was talking about regarding Dongjoo’s life. The main henchman of Yeom is pretty much stalking Dongjoo wherever he goes so he would be able to report it to Mr. Yeom right away.

It’s understandable that Yeom is beyond frustrated by this point because his shock therapy didn’t have a full blown effect as he expected it to be and it seemed like Yeom’s patience was wearing thin and he couldn’t wait any longer for Dongjoo’s memory to return.

Yeom told his henchman that his patience was wearing thin at this point that he didn’t mind throwing Dongjoo back into the sea and feeding him to the fishes in the water but these idiots had no idea that Dongjoo was inside the manhole listening to everything they said.

Dongjoo was in a construction worker’s outfit and hid in the manhole overhearing Mr. Yeom and Cheon’s conversation. I can’t stress this enough, Hyungsik looks so hot in everything he wears and that’s including the construction worker’s uniform!

Dongjoo snuck inside the fancy mansion and he was overhearing some man talking to someone on the phone about threatening Yeom to handover managing the money/the funds.

Dongjoo was working at the construction site while Mr. Yeom and Heo Ildo were having their little private meeting. Mr. Yeom told Heo Ildo to sell off Daesan energy because he fears that Dongjoo’s memory might not return for good. Heo Ildo was frustrated because the shock therapy didn’t work on Director Seo and it almost sounded as if he was blaming Dongjoo for all this because his memory didn’t return after using drastic measures. Apparently, the truck driver disappeared without a trace too so there’s a lot going on in Yeom’s mind right now.

Yeom thinks that the truck driver disappeared because of Seo Dongjoo and he also thinks that something was wrong with Chairman Cha when he saw him the other day at Sister Agnes’s funeral.

Mr. Yeom was thinking that Heo Ildo knew about Chairman Cha’s dementia but never told him about it although he was making it seem as if he found out about Cha’s condition at the funeral. Yeom Jang Seon thinks that it might be better for them if Chairman Cha really has dementia.

Obviously, Mr Yeom and Mr. Heo were working together to obtain Daesan together for a long time and if they don’t do anything about it now then it’s like them throwing it out into the gutter.

Mr. Yeom was getting a phone call from some person called “Manager/Mangemet” but Yeom didn’t pick up his call so he decided to call Yeom’s main lackey guy Cheon and he picked up the phone. This manager guy was complaining to the lackey that Yeom wasn’t picking up his call in a rather annoyed voice. The lackey told the guy he has a guest over which is true, which is Mr. Heo Ildo. 

Mr. Manager guy asked the lackey to deliver his message to Yeom asking if he forgot about Mr. Jo Yangchoon and he basically threatened him saying that if Yeom forgot about him then he will look for Mr. Jo himself. Who the heck is this Mr. Jo person? We are getting more important minor characters going into the middle of the series.

Eunnam was calling Dongjoo trying to get a hold of him and when he saw her name on the caller ID, he just ignored it and didn’t pick it up. Eunnam is a married woman but yet she seems to be so consumed by Dongjoo but apparently he wouldn’t answer her calls, he wouldn’t even wanna meet up with her and she was desperate that she was about to even send him a text saying that she’s worried about him.

Dongjoo went to the store and bought a few things and he went over to the office to open up the safe so he could put the bottles of soju in there. Dongjoo managed to remember the passcode for the safe but not able to remember anything else? Hmmmmm…

Chairman Cha likes to take a bath quite often but he was telling butler Gong that it’s not like how it used to be and so she encouraged him to drink his favorite glass of raw eggs to make him feel better.

All of a sudden Chairman Cha was asking Butler Gong about Seong Hyeon and Miss Gong thought he was talking about Director Seo but he was talking about a little boy. Chairman Cha said it was a pretty little boy that Eunnam and her father brought over to the house. I wonder if Dongjoo has a twin brother separated from birth at this point. It’s hard to tell what is what now but we won’t get to find all of the details until the show progresses even further and now we are finally at the halfway point.

Butler Gong was acting like the old chairman didn’t know what he was talking about and asked her if she has dementia. It seems like Chairman has dementia but yet is able to remember certain things from a long time ago.

Old man Cha was looking around his private home office/library and discovered his safe with a whole bunch of unopened soju bottles inside and then Dongjoo showed up right in front of him which shocked the old man.

Chairman Cha seemed shocked to see his personal safe open and asked Dongjoo if his memory is back but he didn’t give him a straight answer except for a courteous bow along with his signature smile.

Someone was knocking on the door and it was Heo Ildo and he saw something shocking which was an unopened soju bottle in his hand. Dongjoo looked confident and determined although it’s hard to tell exactly what he’s up to for now at least. 

Ji Seonwoo, Chairman Cha’s grandson and Seo Dongjoo have been rather close, they were going on motorcycle rides together from late afternoon to early evening. One day, Ji Seonwoo shows up looking for Dongjoo in front of the gate but he wasn’t coming out so he got the attention of the white car which had Taeyun, Deokhui and Gukhui in there. 

Ji Seonwoo was asking if a guy by the name Seo Dongjoo lives there and this shocked the people in the car, especially Deokui. This Seonwoo kid asked if it was okay with him meeting Dongjoo and Taeyun was gonna hop out of the car to help him but Deokhui insisted that she would go.

By the way the guy that played Taeyun is the actor by the name Yoon Sang Hyun who also played Bada in Dr. Slump but it’s so strange because in Buried Hearts the character Taeyun speaks in the standard Seoul dialect but his other character Bada spoke with the southern Busan dialect kind like Mr. Bae that helped Seong Hyeon/Dongjoo.

Deokhui managed to send Ji Seonwoo home although Taeyung told his mother that she should have let Seonwoo meet with Dongjoo hyung. It’s funny how Taeyun calls Dongjoo, Dongjoo hyung as if he is really close to him even though his mom hates him. Gukhui added that if Dongjoo hangs out with Ji Seonwoo it could possibly help to get his memory back.

Deokhui made up the same lame excuse that Ji Seonwoo might be shocked to find out that Dongjoo lost his memory, she’s just using that as an excuse because she ultimately wants to stop Ji Seonwoo from getting too close to his father, Chairman Cha.

Deokhui, Gukhui and Taeyun were coming from a book concert held by a woman named senator Seok Sookyung. Taeyun brought home a bag full of books and handed them to Butler Gong.

Butler Gong noticed that Deokhui’s face looked discolored as if something was wrong and she told the lady butler that Ji Yeongsoo’s son stopped by.

I feel like Butler Gong knows a lot of the Cha family secrets that haven’t been fully revealed yet. Meanwhile, Gukhui was looking at her phone and something made her panic while Chairman Cha looked pleased that Director Seo/Dongjoo was slowly getting his memory back and at this rate he might be able to get all of his memory back completely.

Chairman Cha was proud of Dongjoo being able to remember the passcode for his soju safe and I think part of the reason why he’s happy is because now he is able to drink again. The old Cha was bragging to Ildo that he is proud of Dongjoo for being able to remember the passcode to his safe.

One by one Dongjoo is regaining his memory but the only people that know about it are Chairman and Heo Ildo. When Gukhui barged into the office Dongjoo hid the soju bottle from her. Gukhui was freaking out because she might not be able to get a hold of Yoosung Chemical.

Apparently there’s some sort of problem with the funds that Yeom was managing and Heo Ildo was telling Chairman Cha who seems clueless about this although Dongjoo’s face looked delighted for whatever reason.

Gukhui was freaking out because Daesan Energy could be merging with Yoosung Chemical. Gukhui wanted his father to reimburse her with something if she is not able to get a hold of Yoosung chemical.

Chairman Cha was upset because Yoosung chemical was pretty much a done deal but he thinks that Yeom was acting like a silly old man due to whatever upset him. 

Heo Ildo was explaining everything to Chairman Cha saying that they are pretty much pressuring him to sell off Daesan Energy. Chairman Cha thinks that they are out of their minds to buy off a company that is doing very well.

Of course, Heo Ildo knows about Mr. Yeom more than anybody else for the most part and he explained to the old Cha that Yeom is an expert to weaken a very profitable company then buying it off. Heo Ildo had no idea that Mr. Yeom took action so fast. 

Chairman Cha lost a piece of paper with the new passcode/password for his safe full of dollars. Chairman Cha thought it would be safe if he put it in a smaller container where nobody would be able to spot it but thankfully, Dongjoo was able to locate it. 

Chairman Cha and Dongjoo hid the passcode in that little box together and Dongjoo was able to remember where it was which made Chairman Cha happy while Heo Ildo’s facial expression was shocked but a different kind.

I’m so confused because the night before Dongjoo snuck into Chairman Cha’s office in the middle of the night and copied the passcode and put it into the little black container box. Of course Chairman Cha wasn’t aware of this and he was so happy and complimented Dongjoo saying that he saved Daesan Energy. 

Dongjoo looked pleased that Chairman Cha was happy but Heo Ildo was confused just like I was. Dongjoo and Ildo were staring at each other and then Dongjoo said that one day the bad memory he had of Mr. Heo might be fixed one day at a time.

However, Mr Cha had no idea what Dongjoo really meant and then Ildo told the old man what the younger man was talking about which was the memory of Heo shooting Dongjoo with a gun.

Chairman Cha ordered Dongjoo to open the safe then get the dollars and gold bars to give to Mr. Yeom. Dongjoo gave the old man back the piece of paper that had the passcode cus apparently he memorized it all. It’s funny how Dongjoo has memory issues due to blocking painful events in his life but he is good at memorizing numbers to help him open safes.

Chairman Cha looked genuinely happy and Heo Ildo obviously looked relieved by all this while Dongjoo looks like he has more color to his face now. Dongjoo went over to Yeom to give him his cash in all 100 American bills and pure gold bars then he told the younger man that he’s been hearing about Dongjoo’s memory coming back one by one through Heo Ildo.

Sister Agnes’s death is hitting Dongjoo pretty hard in the head and affecting him greatly. Something is constantly reminding Dongjoo to try to remember everything to the best of his abilities because he must do this. Mr Yeom wants Dongjoo to try his hardest to remember everything so he could deeply mourn for his dear sister. Sometimes, Mr. Yeom creeps me out, especially when he is acting like he is being kind to Dongjoo when he has evil motives lurking behind the scenes.

Yeom saw Dongjoo teary eyed but said that he is not actually crying over his sister’s death because he doesn’t have any memories of her. 

After Dongjoo left there was the gold ring with a big ruby on it in a nicely wrapped box and when Mr. Yeom saw that he went from calm and easygoing mode to killer mode. Mr. Yeom told his henchman to bring him the gun and this scene made me realize how dramatic Yeom really is.

Old man Yeom was chasing after Seo Dongjoo and was frantically yelling at him saying that he has his two trillion won trapped inside his head. Finally, Yeom was being straightforward with Dongjoo for once saying that the younger man ran away with his two trillion dollars branded in his head. 

Then Mr. Cheon, Old Yeom’s lackey showed Dongjoo the ring and then Yeom was yelling at Dongjoo saying that he killed Jo Yangchoon and put on a show of losing his memory. I don’t think I have ever seen Yeom being real with Dongjoo before.

However, Dongjoo was very quick and it’s easy to tell that this man knows how to fight. Dongjoo quickly took the gun from Cheon when the lackey was about to shoot him and pointed the gun to Yeom’s head.

Dongjoo looked so sexy when he was looking straight into Mr. Yeom’s eyes asking him what kind of shit are you talking about you crotchety old man! Dongjoo asked what money Yeom was talking about and he told him that it was called the loving country fund. I didn’t see Yeom looking so scared before either and it’s strange that Cheon wasn’t doing anything about it, at least for now.

Dongjoo was staring at Old Yeom as it looked like he was about to shoot him but he let go of the gun then Mr. Cheon walked towards him to stop him from what he was doing but all of a sudden Dongjoo pointed the gun at his own which shocked both men.

Dongjoo asked Mr. Yeom why he is shocked since they brought the gun to kill him and it makes a lot of sense for him to ask that question since Yeom was the one that was after him the whole time.

Dongjoo was telling Mr Yeom that he  is tired of roaming around trying to gain his memory back and also it doesn’t help that he is all alone without a family now.  I don’t know if Dongjoo is acting or if he really means what he’s saying or is he bi polar? I’m so confused right now. Dongjoo told Mr. Yeom that he is tired of living so he will carry the two trillion that’s chipped to his brain and disappear for good.

Yeom was so desperate that he was apologizing to Dongjoo, he was even saying that he misunderstood Dongjoo about stealing his money from him but never trust a weasel like him though because he is trying his best to stop from Dongjoo killing himself because if that happens then he is really screwed.

Of course Dongjoo couldn’t trust Mr. Yeom’s sudden kindness so that’s why he asked him are you sure about that and Yeom asked him if he should get on his knees and apologize. Mr. Cheon the lackey didn’t know what to do because Dongjoo was being unpredictable now and Mr. Yeom was scared that Dongjoo might really pull the trigger and kill himself.

Dongjoo looked so hot driving back home in a jet black car in his jet black suit. Dongjoo finally arrived at his apartment where he used to live with Eunnam. Dongjoo was remembering what his sister said to him when he was looking at the jar of something. Sister Agnes or Hyunjoo told Dongjoo to use it to make hot tea for his health since he is a part of her. His sister Hyunjoo said that it’s very precious so drink it everyday for his health and Dongjoo said in his cute but sexy voice, “It’s so precious so you should drink it my dear sister.” Hyungsik really does have a nice voice and it’s getting nicer and nicer as he’s getting older.

Dongjoo is definitely getting his memory back for the most part or perhaps it all came back but he is acting if he is recovering bit by bit. Finally, Dongjoo is mourning while alone at his apartment and it makes sense he can completely be himself without feeling vulnerable.

I realized that Hyungsik is a very well rounded versatile actor cus he can do comedy, action, rom-com, mystery and probably a whole bunch of other genres too. Hyungsik is so good at emotional scenes where he’s crying and he definitely has a wide range of acting chops for sure.

Dongjoo was trying to drink the tea that his sister gave him a while back. He couldn’t do it cus he was too sad to be drinking the tea. I think Dongjoo was bottling up all that emotion inside and finally it all came out after her death. 

Hui Cheol’s aunt was packing up some food for the couple to take over to the Chairman’s house but Hui Cheol didn’t seem too fond of it ever since that incident with the cake not too long ago.

The birthday party that they had at the Chairman’s house was for Hui Cheol’s birthday but there was the incident with the cake and this still isn’t settling very well with Hui Cheol which is totally understandable although I don’t really feel sorry for Hui Cheol much because he was being such a jerk to Dongjoo back in high school which made Dongjoo get expelled from there. 

Hui Cheol’s aunt had no idea what Hui Cheol was talking about then Hui Cheol answered by saying that Butler Gong was the one who let his birthday cake fall to the ground and also he added that Miss Gong looked like she was superior to the Chairman.

Meanwhile, Dongjoo was back at the Chairman’s place. Eunnam and Hui Cheol arrived at the Chairman’s house too for a get-together I suppose. The moment Hui Cheol and Butler Gong went over to the kitchen to drop off the food, Eunnam quickly went over to Dongjoo’s room and she kept on knocking on his bedroom door calling his name.

It was obvious that Eunnam wanted a hug from Dongjoo but he treated her coldly unlike before then all of a sudden he took off his shirt although not all the way to show her his gun shot wounds. Man, this show is coming up with all kinds of creative ways to get Hyungsik to show off his assets! Good job, Buried Hearts!

I think Dongjoo remembers everything now but I don’t know if he still remembers his childhood that’s been locked away and buried deep in his memory compartment. As Dongjoo was showing Eunnam his gunshot wounds, he told her that he was waiting for her to come and join him at the vacation spot then he got shot when he was on the yacht in the ocean by himself. Dongjoo told Eunnam that after he got shot he lost his memory. 

Dongjoo continued on by saying that his dear sister, the only flesh and blood he had left died the day that Eunnam drove her over to meet with him. Now, basically Dongjoo is saying that bad things happen to him when he is around her and that’s what I’m getting from what Dongjoo is saying to Eunnam.

Eunnam looked like she was desperate to win him over again and it’s kinda annoying at this point. Although I feel kinda bad that Eunnam really feels bad and it doesn’t help that she looks so sad but the thing is she looks so pitiful while doing it.

Dongjoo thinks that Eunnam came over to see him to let him know that she feels responsible for his sister’s death even though it’s directly not her fault. Losing Sister Agnes was a big deal for Dongjoo and he is so not okay mentally and emotionally to accept Eunnam’s apologies at least for now. I had a good feeling that Dongjoo would give Eunnam the cold shoulder until he is ready to end his grieving and mourning then go into healing mode.

Both Eunnam and Dongjoo were teary eyed which I could completely understand. Dongjoo was teary eyed because it was obvious that losing Agnes was even a bigger deal than losing Eunnam and I think it’s because Agnes was the only flesh and blood he had left. However, Eunnam was teary eyed because losing Dongjoo was the biggest negative that happened in her life.

Dongjoo said something really painful that probably pierced through Eunnam’s heart. Dongjoo said that nothing ever good happened to him since he’s been with Eunnam and that’s Hui Cheol included too. Dongjoo told Eunnam that she should just go away and live happily without him. As Dongjoo was walking away, Eunnam gave Dongjoo a back hug and said doing that is impossible for her while tears streamed down her face….

Now Eunnam is begging and acting all clingy, I don’t know, Eunnam just annoys me and she reminds me of another Shikkie FL  who I wasn’t very fond of and that was Jina from Suits.

Chairman Cha and the family were waiting for Dongjoo and Eunnam to come and have dinner with them, they were about to eat the food that Hui Cheol’s aunt packed for him. Hui Cheol got a text from Eunnam saying that she’ll just come down for dessert although Dongjoo came down to eat with them. By the way Hyungsik looked so hot in that button up blue dress shirt and his hair slightly pulled back! 

It was dessert eating time and Butler Gong brought plates full of desserts for the family and unfortunately one of the dessert items has cinnamon in it according to Butler Gong. I wonder if Dongjoo remembers that he is allergic to cinnamon to the point where he can pass out from it.

Mr. Yeom already knew that Dongjoo had a cinnamon allergy and he had made them put cinnamon in the food that they packed for the Cha family. Mr. Yeom did this on purpose to test if Dongjoo’s memory really returned or not. If Dongjoo eats the cinnamon his memory isn’t fully back yet but if he doesn’t that means he’s putting on a show all along.

Heo Ildo also knows about Dongjoo’s cinnamon allergy so he was observing Dongjoo’s behavior and movement to see if he would eat the snack/dessert with cinnamon in it. It’s obvious that Dongjoo’s memory is fully back by everything we have seen so far but yet he decided to bite the bullet and eat the cinnamon snack.

Chairman Cha was happy that Dongjoo was able to have tea and dessert with him while Heo Ildo was observing Dongjoo’s behavior.

Finally Dongjoo swallowed the Korean traditional cinnamon snacks and obviously he was getting an allergic reaction since he was starting to lightly scratch his neck. Eunnam finally came down to join the family for the tea and dessert session but she wasn’t really in the mood to have a good time with her family because she was completely consumed by Dongjoo.

Eunnam was being completely obvious in front of her husband and family just staring at Dongjoo and nothing else. Dongjoo was still kinda teary eyed but kinda looked at Eunnam with hurtful eyes and he continued to eat the cinnamon ridden snacks. Obviously, the reaction of the cinnamon was starting to happen slowly but surely while both Dongjoo and Eunnam were just looking at each other.

Heo Ildo really looked confused because Dongjoo was continuing to eat the snack while lightly scratching himself. It’s so easy to tell that Dongjoo was starting to feel the effects of it while Mr. Heo was wondering if he wanted more and of course Dongjoo refused to take anymore of that thing.

I guess Dongjoo is staying at the Chairman’s house for now. Dongjoo wanted to be left alone for now so he decided to excuse himself and Chairman Cha told him to eat with them down stairs from now on.

As Dongjoo was walking towards the hallway to go back to his room he was already choking. Eunnam took a bite of the snack and she realized that something was awfully wrong. Dongjoo collapsed on the floor due to the effects of the cinnamon and Eunnam and Taeyun ran over there to see if he’s okay.

Everybody else was just standing around but Chairman Cha was freaking out and told Ildo to call 119. Dongjoo looked awful like in episode one when he accidentally ate the bread with cinnamon in it. Chairman Cha, Eunnam and Taeyun were freaking out, especially Eunnam because she sounded like she was crying. 

Episode 6 ended with Dongjoo’s face looking red as a tomato and his hand lightly touching Eunnam’s face as Eunnam and Chairman Cha were freaking out. But the camera panned close to Heo Ildo’s face in a creepy kind of way, it’s almost like him saying, the game is on boy! While Eunnam, Chairman Cha and Taeyun were screaming out Dongjoo’s name, Heo Ildo and his wife Cha Deokhui were holding hands watching everything go down.

Mr. Yeom was deep in shock when Dongjoo pointed the gun to his head and also to Dongjoo’s own head and this had a lasting effect on him to the point where he couldn’t even sleep which made Mr. Cheon his lackey, tried to encourage him to go to sleep.

Mr. Yeom remembered getting the info from his main lackey a while back that Dongjoo almost died from cinnamon because he’s heavily allergic to it. Yeom was deep in thought and he wanted to get back Dongjoo without being too outlandish so he figured that this is the best way to get revenge on the younger man. Mr. Yeom Jang Seon ordered Cheon to get some cinnamon ready so he can take action regarding Dongjoo.

Cheon managed to find the jar of cinnamon powder to strike Dongjoo in one blow. Mr. Yeom was also working with Heo Ildo to make this happen and he told him to successfully fulfill the mission because if Dongjoo fully gets his memory back then he could make Ildo into a murderer and a criminal for that act.

Mr. Yeom and Mr. Heo were discussing the plans of killing Seo Dongjoo. Mr.Yeom thinks that the best way to remove Dongjoo physically is to use a softer approach like putting cinnamon in his food, it’s like basically poisoning the guy to get rid of him so Mr. Heo wondered what he should do if Dongjoo doesn’t eat the food with cinnamon in it. Of course Yeom gave that sinister smile and said that Heo Ildo himself should take the responsibility and kill Dongjoo himself. Also, if Dongjoo doesn’t eat the food covered in cinnamon then that means he has been putting on a show about losing his memory all this time.

Heo Ildo made sure to successfully fulfill the mission without a problem and while he was at the kitchen with the family trying out the food they brought from the Yeom household he told his wife Deokhui to make sure to bring Dongjoo downstairs for dinner which made Eunnam suspicious about the whole thing.

Heo Ildo’s facial expression really confused me when he was watching Dongjoo collapse on the floor because of the cinnamon and the reason is his concerned face when he was the one who colluded with Mr. Yeom in the first place.

Both Eunnam and Taeyun were freaking out because of Dongjoo and Eunnam tried to do a CPR on Dongjoo and of course this bothered Hui Cheol because in order for you to do a CPR on somebody you gotta put your mouth on him and it’s so obvious that with Eunnam it’s not just a simple CPR.

Taeyun looked equally devastated by all this since it was so obvious that the younger boy thought of the older boy as his actual big brother just like Bada did with Jungwoo back in Dr. Slump.

Chairman Cha was worried about Dongjoo just as much as Eunnam and Taeyun. To Eunnam Dongjoo was the love of her life, To Taeyun Dongjoo was like his big brother and to Chairman Cha Dongjoo is kinda like his grandson to him. Chairman Cha can’t really function without Dongjoo a lot of the time ever since he’s been suffering from dementia.

The ambulance came to pick up Dongjoo and initially Taeyun was gonna go with him but Eunnam initiated that she’ll go. At this point, Eunnam doesn’t even think of Hui Cheol as her husband anymore. Chairman Cha wanted to go too and he was gonna bring Taeyun along but Heo Ildo said that he’ll take the Chairman instead.

Huil Cheol got a call from his aunt because she wanted to know if the elders of the family enjoyed the food and Hui Cheol was complaining that something big happened because of the food. Hui Cheol has no idea that his uncle was the one who planned all this to kill off Dongjoo. 

Huil Cheol told his aunt all about the cinnamon incident and according to her they never had that jar of cinnamon but now this cinnamon incident? Hui Cheol’s aunt didn’t have a clue that this was all Mr. Yeom’s doing. 

Dongjoo was in a critical state and the medical professionals were pumping him up but he was still not waking up. Eunnam and Ildo were watching as the nurses were trying to wake him up from his semi unconscious state.

Apparently, Dongjoo’s real name is Seong Hyeon/Choo Seong Hyeon. It seemed like Mr. Yeom knew more about Dongjoo’s life details than Chairman Cha ever did. Mr. Yeom prayed that Dongjoo or rather Choo Seong Hyeon will rest in peace.

Mr. Yeom felt that it would be better off that Dongjoo is dead to completely end their ill fated relationship too. The show then goes off to a time when Mr. Yeom first meets Dongjoo. 

Mr. Yeom was wondering why Mr. Heo brought Dongjoo over to his place. Dongjoo had a bag full of goodies and a letter written by Chairman Cha. Mr. Yeom wanted Chairman Cha to get rid of him but he didn’t want to do that so that’s why he sent Dongjoo over to deliver the gifts and his personal handwritten letter to Mr. Yeom.

There was an incident where Heo Ildo was trying to embezzle money from the account and Chairman Cha wanted to consider that invalid. Yeom is so particular because he was getting after Dongjoo for calling him Chancellor. Mr. Yeom wanted Dongjoo to call him Sir instead of Chancellor when they are both respectful in many ways.

Chairman Cha was losing it when he was calling for Butler Gong when he was at the hospital with Ildo and  Dr. Kim. Dr. Kim asked politely that Chairman Cha should go back home since he needs to be taking care of his health but then Ildo told his brother in law that their father in law wouldn’t be able to rest properly even if he does go back home because he would be worried sick about Dongjoo.I wonder why Chairman Cha cares about Dongjoo so much? Maybe part of it was because he saw him when Dongjoo was a little boy and also the old man Cha can’t seem to function without Dongjoo?

Heo Ildo knew about Chairman Cha’s dementia although Dr. Kim tried to pretend that everything was okay with the old man. Ildo’s brother in law tried to make it seem as if it was because the chairman was so worried about Dongjoo but he couldn’t make up excuses anymore. Dr. Kim realized that he couldn’t hide the fact that Chairman Cha was suffering from dementia because it was quite obvious by now.

Dr. Kim told his brother in law Ildo that he kept his father in law’s dementia because the old man ordered him to do that. Dr. Kim hasn’t even told his wife Gukhi yet about his father in law’s condition and Ildo told him that he did a good job on that and he should discuss the old man’s matters with him only no matter what.

Ildo thinks that it would be better off for Dr. Kim to discuss Chairman Cha’s matters with him personally since it’s the best for Daesan hospital as well as Dr. Kim’s personal life.

Dr Yihyeon was one of the persons working on Dongjoo and she was surprised that her assistant told her that Dongjoo was back for now. Eunnam was watching this through the window and was devastated.

Chairman Cha, Heo Ildo and Mr. Yeom were all in one room discussing Seo Dongjoo. Ildo told his father in law that it would be better for him to prepare for Dongjoo’s funeral now ahead of time since he doesn’t have any family members and Mr. Yeom agreed with Ildo’s sentiment although they both planned all of this together.

Chairman Cha thought the two gentlemen were going ahead of themselves so Ildo said that there’s a high chance that Director Seo might not be able to recover from this. Chairman Cha really didn’t want Dongjoo to die and of course it’s obvious that won’t happen since he’s the main lead and there would be no drama if he got killed off hehehe…

Chairman Cha was right because Yeom and Heo were going way ahead of themselves because Dongjoo came back or at least he is conscious with his eyes open and this surprised the two perpetrators but of course Chairman was surprised and in a good way nonetheless.

Dr. Yihyeon told everybody to get out so the patient can rest. According to the doctor Dongjoo is no longer in the critical state although he still would have to be careful. According to Dr. Yihyeon, part of the reason why Dongjoo is no longer in a full blown critical state is because Eunnam gave him CPR before they brought him over to the hospital which made Chairman Cha feel at ease.

According to Dr. Yihyeon everything is okay with Dongjoo for now. Mr. Yeom was the one who planned all this but pretended that he was worried about our dear Dongjoo. I can’t stand Mr. Yeom, he’s so darn sinister but I’m also not a fan of Mr. Heo Ildo either. Eunnam looked concerned and it seemed like she was suspicious about her uncle in law…… I feel bad for Eunnam but at the same time her facial expressions really bother me though and I think the actress has that face where she kinda looks like she chewed on something bad.

Dongjoo’s body is able to have basic functionality so he is basically able to function in a biological sense but mentally he is not fully back to normal yet according to Dongjoo’s physician.

Chairman Cha was so worried that he asked the doctor if Dongjoo is worse off than when he lost his memory before but it seemed like he is still in a critical condition mentally. Suddenly, Madam Pi showed up after hearing about Dongjoo and after seeing her Yeom and Ildo left the hospital for now.

Madam Pi also brought Jang Ilnam/Bae Wonbae with her. Madam Pi was crying while watching Dongjoo asleep and Mr. Bae held his bands and told him to wake up already. Everybody else left the hospital but Eunnam decided to stay and watch over Dongjoo in the back.

Jang Ilnam/Bae Wonbae is very good at disguising himself, I want to know more about him too because he always appears whenever Dongjoo is in trouble but also, how does he know Madam Pi?

Mr. Bae handed Eunnam the cell phone with videos of or rather video messages of Dongjoo. As Bae handed the phone over to Eunnam he said this is for Eunnam and he wanted Bae to give this to her.

I don’t know I have a hard time shipping Eunnam with Dongjoo and she is probably one of the few FLs that I can’t seem to ship with Shikkie characters just like how I felt with Jina from Suits and Aro from Hwarag.

As Mr. Bae was handing the phone over to Eunnam. He said that the videos might not play and he couldn’t give it to her in time so he was feeling bad about it. Eunnam looked like she was in pain to the point where she looked like she was constipated. I dunno, I think it doesn’t help that the actress has that particular face that makes you look constipated when you frown.

Eunnam was telepathically communicating with Mr. Yeom asking why he is trying to kill Dongjoo so badly and Dongjoo’s sister died on the day when she was trying to bring the two siblings together, to meet each other once again.

Mr. Yeom thought that Eunnam had something to say to her but she answered him right off the bat and said no although she was asking questions quietly. As soon as Eunnam got home and went into her bedroom, the first thing she did was to take out the phone Bae gave her from her purse. Eunnam is so addicted to Dongjoo and I don’t blame her since he is the most handsome man in the world!

Eunnam was watching a video of Dongjoo making a video to dedicate to Eunnam where he was playing the violin for her. Man, Hyungsik as Dongjoo playing the violin is darn sexy! HYUNGSIK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MARRY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eunnam looks so miserable around Hui Cheol but when she is around Dongjoo or even thinking about it she becomes a hopeless romantic. Eunnam was crying and smiling while watching the video Dongjoo made just for her. I hate to say this but I feel like Dongjoo is too good for a woman like Eunnam……

Dongjoo looked so darn hot in his tuxedo and a bow tie and even more so while holding the violin in one of his hands. Dongjoo is slaying this show like an awesome swordsman. Honestly, I wouldn’t watch a show like this where the story has been overdone one too many times but Shikkie does make it special and that’s my only reason for watching Buried Hearts.

Dongjoo was drinking Chairman Cha’s speciality, a glass of raw eggs in the video and he also showed off the bracelet that Eunnam had been cherishing and was bragging that he managed to get it fixed in a jiffy. Dongjoo played a nice classical piece for Eunnam on the violin and he told her that he was planning to show it off after he finished mastering it but did it anyway.

Both Eunnam and Dongjoo had a couples bracelet and hers was wrapped nicely inside of a cloth and she took it out. Eunnam couldn’t hold back her tears while looking at it, then she was looking at the tattoo they both got of each other with their initials. As Eunnam was looking at the tattoo on her wrist she was looking back to the past when things were good between her and Dongjoo.

Getting the tattoo was Dongjoo’s idea. One time the two were coming back from exercising/jogging and they stopped by the water fountain to wash up. Dongjoo saw Eunnam’s wrist and offered an idea of getting a pretty tattoo on their wrists.

Dongjoo always wanted to try something like getting a cute little couples tattoo since the early days of them dating. Dongjoo and Eunnam couple did actually go to a tattoo shop but Eunnam was having a hard time with the sharp object on her skin. Dongjoo was kind enough to tell her that he’ll try it first and if it really hurts then he wouldn’t make her do it.

Dongjoo was willing to sacrifice himself first to see if it really does hurt or not and if it really does he wouldn’t want her to get it. Dongjoo is sexy but also a sweet and considerate man hehehe….

The scene of Dongjoo and Eunnam on the bed cuddling each other with their hands intact was kind of cute despite how I don’t really ship this particular couple. Anyway, Eunnam managed to get the tattoo despite the fact that she was scared of needles. Eunnam is so loving towards Dongjoo, she was all touching his hand while looking at the tattoos they got for their love. This is so the opposite of Eunnam and Hui Cheol couple.

Eunnam thanked Dongjoo for ending her humiliation, whatever that means. Dongjoo ended up with Eunnam because she was trying to get back at her mom and step dad. Obviously Eunnam’s body reacts immediately towards Dongjoo. You can’t deny the fact that she’s always the one initiating physical activities with Dongjoo but with Hui Cheol it’s the other way around.

Eunnam was looking back to the past when they were together while looking at the tattoo on her wrist. Eunnam kept on crying and she couldn’t stop doing so because she missed him so much, she just couldn’t move on without him.

Eunnam recalled what Sister Agnes told her before she died. Dongjoo told his sister to tell Eunnam to be healthy and live a good life. Eunnam put the bracelet back on as she was reminiscing about the time when he put that bracelet on her.

Meanwhile the reporters were after Gukhui about some scandal regarding Yoosung chemicals. Cha Gukhui was so humiliated that she drove away when she didn’t have her shoes on, she was completely barefooted.

After seeing what happened to Gukhi on the news, Chairman Cha looked rather upset so he decided to call Yeom saying that he was trying his best to ruin them when the Cha family was working hard to raise the birds to lay golden eggs.

Heol Ildo is definitely a higher level lackey for Mr. Yeom and right now Chairman Cha is suspicious of the old Yeom and Mr. Yeom feels disappointed that Mr. Cha thinks of him as someone who’s screwing them over. Chairman Cha might be suffering from dementia but he is seemingly catching onto things.

Mr. Yeom was telling Chairman Cha that he would have to cooperate with the prosecutors who want to investigate Gukui. As soon as Yeom hung up the phone with  Chairman Cha, his secretary lackey Cheon was telling him that Gukhui was using her right to remain silent at the prosecution office. However, according to Mr Yeom it’s not important getting something out of Gukhui because her being at the prosecution office is enough to use it as a way to threaten Cha.

Yeom is starting to regret using Seo Dongjoo for the two trillion won but instead they should have been more focused in using a program to eat Daesan energy whole. I guess, the two trillion wasn’t enough for this greedy Yeom?

Eunnam was waiting for Hui Cheol at the noodle shop and he was surprised she wanted to see him for once although he thought that maybe she called to see him because of Gukhi since he’s a prosecutor and all.

Hui Cheol is so naive because he thinks that the uncle will take care of this situation with Gukhui. Hui Cheol looked so famished, he was so focused on eating although Eunnam seemingly had something important to say to him. 

Hui Cheol thought it was strange that Eunnam wanted to meet with him during the day when they can see each other at home and Eunnam’s answer was brutal. Eunnam has no feelings towards Hui Cheol because without hesitation she said, “It’s cus I’m not going back home!”

Hui Cheol tried his best to pretend that he didn’t hear what she said but Eunnam continued on after a long pause, “Let’s get divorced!” Man, Eunnam is so addicted to Dongjoo although I don’t blame her since Dongjoo is way hotter than Hui Cheol.

The atmosphere between Eunnam and Hui Cheol was so awkward, Eunnam doesn’t act like this around Dongjoo. As a matter of fact with Dongjoo, Eunnam is always initiating physical intimacy with him.

Hui Cheol did not take what Eunnam just said very well, he looked hurt obviously. Eunnam is such a selfish person because she first hurt Dongjoo by marrying Hui Cheol when she slept with Dongjoo the night before and now she wants a divorce to go back to the man she kicked to curb for money? I want to feel sorry for her because she did all this to get revenge for her late father but still…I’m torn with Eunnam, I don’t think I ever felt this way with any of Shikkie’s FL! Dude, I miss Haneul so badly! Now I was able to ship Haneul and Jungwoo no problem! They made my heart feel so fluffy! Man, the good ol days hehehe…

Hui Cheol was heartbroken like how Dongjoo was when she betrayed him before she decided to marry Hui Cheol for Daesan shares. Hui Cheol knew that Eunnam was always thinking about divorcing him because he knew for a while that she’s head over heels Dongjoo but she has no feelings for him whatsoever. Hui Cheol was thinking that one day Eunnam would ask him for a divorce but at the same time wouldn’t expect an easy answer like, “Alright, I accept your sentiment, let’s get a divorce….”

Hui Cheol admitted to Eunnam saying that he likes her way more than she thinks. I knew it! I was right! I knew that Hui Cheol likes Eunnam a lot even though their marriage is more like a business transaction.

Hui Cheol took a shot then he said he would not get a divorce even if Eunnam wants to. I realized once again that Eunnam looks so gloomy around Hui Cheol but she is so glowingly happy around Dongjoo though.

Eunnam said that she wants a divorce not because she came to hate him although she didn’t finish the rest of what she was really thinking about. She is just so desperate to go back to Dongjoo that’s all and Hui Cheol reminded her that if she divorces him then she would have to give back all of the Daesan shares she received after getting married to Yeom Hui Cheol.

Hui Cheol looked so devastated after the final question at the restaurant. He asked her if she is okay with divorcing him even if she has to puke backup all of the Daesan Shares she has but then the answer completely shattered Hui Cheol’s manly pride because Eunnam said YES, without a single ounce of hesitation.

After having lunch with her husband that she doesn’t love, she drove over to the spot where Sister Agnes got ran over by a truck just a few days prior. Eunnam realized that there are some suspicious people involved in this incident then EUREKA! Eunnam thought that maybe to figure out who were all involved in this, she should get a hold of the surveillance camera in the area.

Eunnam got a hold of the USB with the recordings of the incident with Sister Agnes’s death that afternoon. Eunnam was all packed up and she was serious about leaving Hui Cheol for good. Taeyun was wondering what Eunnam was doing in front of their house with all her luggages and of course Cha Deokhui saw all the bags and this upset her very much.

Deokhui had no other choice but to let her be for now. Eunnam apologized to her mother then went into her room so she could check out the USB drive to check out what exactly happened and who were involved in the incident revolving Dongjoo’s sister.

Eunnam paused the video and zoomed in so she would be able to observe it closely. Eunnam was shocked to find out that there was someone familiar to her and it was Mr. Yeom’s personal assistant, Mr. Cheon. 

Eunnam recalled what Dongjoo told her the other day about him getting shot on the day they were gonna meet up at the vacation spot. Eunnam started to piece things together as if she was her own detective Conan…..She took the cellphone that Bae gave her from one of her bags and tried to find some kind of connection from the video that Dongjoo sent her.

Eunnam was able to find a man on a boat in the video that Dongjoo sent her. Even if the guy on the boat had a hat covering most of his face, Eunnam was able to tell who it was and it shocked her big time!

Eunnam was able to put two and two together and was able to connect the dots. Now, there was no doubt that it was her stepfather Heo Ildo who shot her dear Dongjoo and as she was reacting to the video someone came into her bedroom. It was Ildo that appeared right in front of her and she had to hide the phone that she was looking at.

Ildo heard everything about Eunnam and Hui Cheol. Mr. Heo came into her room to let her know that he is against the divorce and besides she would need to refrain from reckless behavior since Chairman Cha is suffering with dementia right now. Eunnam told her step father that she’ll try her best to convince her grandfather about the divorce in her annoying but desperate voice. However, according to Heo Ildo, whoever breaks the marriage would have to pay a hefty price for it. The price is so hefty that it could cost all of Daesan which is a lot.

Eunnam was so nervous that she accidentally pressed a button on the cellphone with Dongjoo’s voice and this made Heo Ildo upset and the music playing in the background pretty much explained how Ildo feels right now. Mr. Heo wants Eunnam to go back home with Hui Cheol.

Mr. Yeom and Mr. Heo were on the phone with each other again and Yeom was expressing his regrets about trying to get that two trillion dollars out of Dongjoo’s head. Yeom’s starting to feel that chasing after Dongjoo wasn’t worth anything. 

Mr. Yeom wants Mr. Heo to raise up Daesan by listening to him and his advice which is to allow the funds to flow instead of being blocked off.

Meanwhile, Yeom was talking to his boss, now it’s starting to make sense because in his character description he’s supposed to be this king maker. Yeom was talking about Heo Ildo and he is the person that would make everything happen for this boss man. The boss man was saying that this Heo Ildo is someone who is obedient towards Yeom and he said that’s not the case but he is an obedient subordinate to this boss man that he’s speaking with.

The boss man was telling Yeom that with the funds in the Swiss bank account that is plenty enough to be doing the kinds of politics of his dream. Mr. Yeom did not like how the boss man said his politics and then he corrected him and said our politics.

On the surface it looked like Mr. Yeom had someone he was serving but that’s not the case, he was using Mr. Lee the boss man to do his own bidding. I’m starting to realize that I don’t like anybody in this show except for Dongjoo, Sister Agnes, Taeyun, Bae, amd Butler Gong?

Mr. Yeom reminded the so called boss man/ Mr. President is no big deal because they can only do it for five years while the king makers are forever. Mr. Yeom is the person that’s the most dangerous in any society. 

In a democratic society/ or in the modern free world it should be up to the people to vote in the right leader to represent not just a select few but Yeom was all about being a king maker when it only benefits him. Mr. Yeom reflects why politics and politicians are so dirty all around the globe and not just one particular country.

 Mr. Yeom makes me sick and I can’t stand that slimy weasel. Honestly, I don’t like anybody in this stupid drama except for Dongjoo so if it weren’t for Hyungsik I would never watch a drama like this. The world is depressing as it is….watching a drama like this and being reminded of this crazy world makes me feel even more depressed.

One of Chairman Cha’s associates wanted to meet with Dongjoo but the old man said that’s not a good idea since he wouldn’t be able to recognize him anyway.

One of the associates who was Dongjoo’s direct supervisor felt bad that he’s been careless towards Dongjoo and that’s why he wanted to go see the young man. Chairman Cha told Director Choi that he is no longer Dongjoo’s direct supervisor because he’s gonna be leading Daesan which surprised Heo Ildo.

Chairman Cha’s planning to start the process of promoting Director Choi. Chairman Cha was already planning to promote Director Choi but was putting it off but he felt that now is the best time to start making it happen cus there’s this distraction going on with the Daesan Energy issue. Heo Ildo looked disappointed that Chairman Cha didn’t even discuss this matter with him.

Chairman Cha was telling Ildo that half of it belongs to the son in law that his eldest daughter loves and the other half belongs to the subordinate of Mr. Yeom Jang Seon. However, Chairman Cha doesn’t seem to work with Yeom any longer. As a matter of fact, Mr. Cha wanted Ildo to go bump heads with Mr. Yeom.

Chairman Cha felt that Ildo as Yeom’s beloved subordinate is no longer useful to him so he wanted him to go and show Yeom that he’s a new person that Yeom is scared of and that’s the only way Mr. Cha will accept his other half. Mr. Heo looked surprised that Chairman Cha was asking for something from him for once.

Chairman Cha realizes that Yeom Jang Seon is trying to shake him up but he wants to show that he’s not gonna budge no matter how hard he tries. Chairman Cha thinks that everything will take care of itself once Mr. Choi becomes the assistant chairman and also when Director Seo returns to Daesan.

Chairman Cha was confident that everything will be taken care of once Dongjoo comes back to Daesan and of course Ildo wasn’t liking this plan at all. 

Mr. Heo Ildo decided to go have a chit chat with Mr. Choi at his office because he wanted to stop Chairman Cha from going on with his plans because if he does it would completely ruin him. I had a feeling that Ildo was gonna pull this stunt, using Mr. Cha’s health issue/dementia.

Director Choi couldn’t believe what Mr. Heo was telling him. Ildo was trying to convince Choi that the Chairman is relatively fine physically but not mentally. 

Mr. Heo was trying to convince Director Choi that Chairman Cha might forget about the fact that he gave him a promotion one day if things become worse. 

Mr. Heo was trying to convince Director Choi that he should discuss everything with Heo Ildo before anybody else from now on. Man, Heo Ildo is just as slimy as Mr. Yeom although old Yeom is the worst though.

Mr. Heo went over to Mr. Yeom’s place to discuss something with him and he saw Eunnam getting out of the car with Hui Cheol’s aunt. Hui Cheol’s aunt took Eunnam to an oriental medicine doctor because she hasn’t been eating very well lately and she thought maybe that their ancestors are blessing them with Hui Cheol’s child.

Eunnam thought about what Heo Ildo told her not too long ago about him not killing Dongjoo but she definitely doesn’t believe that to be true after what she saw earlier through the phone Bae gave her.

Hui Cheol got off work early to spend more time with Eunnam. Hui Cheol heard about his aunt taking Eunnam to the herbal clinic. Hui Cheol wanted to put in more effort to have a child so Eunnam would stay with him even though she still wants a divorce. 

Hui Cheol decided to be more selfish and think about his feelings more than considering hers. Hui Cheol was desperately trying to tie the knot with her pregnancy. To Hui Cheol, if Eunnam gets pregnant with his child he would at least have something to work with but I don’t think that’s gonna work. Eunnam is the type of gal who would rather stay as a single mother rather than to stay in a loveless marriage.

Dongjoo and Hui Cheol have been competing ever since they were both in High School. Eunnam knows about Hui Cheol kicking Dongjoo off the rugby team using his uncle’s influence.

Eunnam wasn’t the only person that was forced to marry Hui Cheol because Hui Cheol was practically threatened to marry Eunnam too. Eunnam was forced to marry Hui Cheol but at first she thought it wasn’t such a bad deal for getting the stocks for Daesan. Eunnam thinks that she became a trophy to him ever since he found out that she was with Dongjoo at one point.

Although Mr. Yeom half forced him and threatened him to marry Eunnam but he ended up falling in love with her at first sight. Hui Cheol said that he was on cloud 9 when Eunnam dumped that thug to be with him, the girl that he fell in love with at first sight.

Eunnam was so uncomfortable to be around Hui Cheol and it was driving him nuts that the girl he fell in love with in one second is going to be leaving him even if he manages to get her pregnant.

Eunnam managed to take a photo of Heo Ildo at the murder site and she was still looking at it because she had something that could ruin some people. Eunnam also took a picture of Yeom’s lackey/personal assistant at the murder site of Sister Agnes.

Eunnam decided to be gutsy and send those photos to Mr. Yeom, her husband’s uncle, Yeom Jang Seon. 

Meanwhile, Gukhi was making an attempt to open up Chairman Cha’s safe box. Ildo was asking since Gukhi was taking money from Chairman Cha’s safe and she was pretending to play dumb. Ildo and Gukhui were discussing passwords on the note that Chairman Cha wrote down which had been in the pencil holder for a while. 

Ildo and Gukhui both have been taking money from Chairman Cha’s safe. Ildo thought maybe they should both confess the truth to Chairman Cha although he was being sarcastic about it. Gukui was fed up that nobody cared about what she was going through. Gukhui was telling Ildo that she might be detained on the behalf of Daesan but nobody seems to care. Gukhui thought maybe she should just grab some cash since nobody gives a darn about her problems. 

There are two safe codes, One is for the liquor and the other is for the money. Gukhui didn’t know the difference between the two. She wanted Ildo to keep this whole shenanigan a secret from Chairman Cha.

Gukhui thinks that Ildo doesn’t know the code either because she’s been able to take cash/American dollars and gold bars in the past. Gukhui also realized that the code worked perfectly fine until yesterday so something hit her. She just noticed that someone changed the code but she didn’t know exactly when that happened.

Heo Ildo called Yeom to discuss their further plans and told him that Chairman Cha changed the code not too long ago so only he knows the code but nobody else. Yeom thought that Ildo should’ve done something before Chairman Cha changed the passcode and he was also suspicious that Mr. Heo might be holding onto the hope that Dongjoo’s memory will be returning soon.

Yeom Jang Seon was worried that Ildo was being overly cautious before making the big move. Mr. Yeom called Ildo, Chairman Heo so he went over to Chairman Cha’s office and sat on his big fluffy chair to become the big shot, Chairman Heo of Daesan Group/Daesan Energy!

When Mr. Yeom called Ildo Chairman Heo, he gave him a syringe and needles to get the job done. Ildo made sure that Mr. Yeom heard his determination by him saying, “I will make sure to wrap it up the right way!” Heo Ildo’s eyes looked scary even more so than that creepy old Yeom.

Yeom Jang Seon thinks that Seo Dongjoo is responsible for killing Jo Yang Chun. According to the administrator, Mr. Jo is not the type of guy who would give up his life so easily. 

Mr. Yeom thinks that it would be best for the administrator to let go of Jo Yangchun since they have a bigger fish to fry. Yeom is planning to make Jo Yangchun live off of his rent for the rest of his life. Mr Yeom reported to Cheon that the mission is about to start, then Cheon called Eunnam to let her know that his father in law would like to have dinner together.

Mr Cheon told Eunnam that it’s gonna be Mr Yeom, her and Hui Cheol. Mr. Yeom or rather Uncle in law texted Eunnam back to let her know that he received the pictures and would like to talk to her in person.

Eunnam plans to send Mr. Yeom the original copies of the photos after she divorces Hui Cheol without penalty. Mr. Yeom was trying to convince Eunnam that Cheon Guho is his guy for sure but Mr. Heo Ildo, her step father, has nothing to do with him so that’s the reason why Yeom shouldn’t let Eunnam divorce Hui Cheol without any penalties. 

I’m not a huge fan of Eunnam but she is very passionate about Dongjoo, the love of her life and she is sharp as a cookie too. Eunnam figured out Yeom’s dirty plan which is to make Heo Ildo the chairman of Daesan Energy/ Daesan Group.

Eunnam was giving Mr. Yeom a decent reason why she is suspicious about them colluding with each other which is Heo Ildo shooting a man that’s a Daesan director and this would be on the headlines if the reporters of the media got a hold of this info. Mr. Yeom didn’t say much except that he understands Eunnam’s requests.

Cheon Guho had a few photos of Eunnam and sent it to someone, I wonder what he’s up to really. Eunnam was driving in her car and someone with that ring that Dongjoo had was following her. 

Dongjoo has been resting in bed for quite some time and Jang Ilnam/Bae Wonbae has been looking after him. Mr. Bae is such a chameleon because he’s able to disguise himself into different dudes in such a short span of time.

Mr. Bae was about to get off and he handed off the duty to look after Dongjoo to some woman. 

Heo Ildo was wrapping things  up once and for all and yes, his face looked determined and ready. The woman that was supposed to be looking after Dongjoo fell asleep on him while the intruder came in. It was the administrator guy shooting needles on Dongjoo’s arm although he wasn’t fully asleep that he was able to catch him and did a full blown judo on his ass. I love Hyungsik’s action sequences because he is so manly doing it!
