I was right, I had a good feeling that Dongjoo wasn’t gonna recognize Eunnam and that made her look really sad to the point where she was about to cry any minute.

Dongjoo went over to the fancy clothing shop to find out about Seo Dongjoo and the only way to do that is to meet the person who made the piece of clothing.

Eunnam looked frightened and she couldn’t help but to express her facial expression which matched her feelings realizing that Dongjoo doesn’t remember her. Eunnam kept on calling his name but Dongjoo stared at her blankly with a confused look on his face which was devastating for Eunnam who still can’t get over him.

Like I said before, I feel sorry for Hui Cheol because he’s caught between all this stupid drama. I don’t know why but I feel like Hui Cheol is sincere about Eunnam although to his family and even to Eunnam’s family his relationship with Eunnam is nothing but a business transaction.

While Hui Cheol was waiting for his wife Eunnam in the car she was out in front of the clothing shop to meet with Dongjoo although he acted like she didn’t know him. Dongjoo wasn’t just pretending, he really forgot who Eunnam was to him.

Hui Cheol hates the presence of Dongjoo but this is understandable since he didn’t get along with him during their high school years but to make the matters worse, Eunnam can’t seem to hide her love for Dongjoo and this breaks his heart so much that he had to grab Dongjoo by the collar although Dongjoo stopped Hui Cheol from going any further.

Eunnam gave Dongjoo her cellphone so he can contact her again and this obviously pissed off Hui Cheol. Man, I can understand how much she is in love with Dongjoo but this chick is obvious about it that it completely ruins Hui Cheol as a man. 

Eunnam wasn’t happy about Dongjoo talking to her using jondaemal which is a formal way of speaking and the reason why Eunnam hates this was because Dongjoo treated her like a complete stranger. Eunnam looked devastated as she was handing over her cellphone to Dongjoo.

Hui Cheol couldn’t stand his wife being so obvious in front of him which was killing his pride but he had his game up his sleeves to ruin Seo Dongjoo. Hui Cheol communicates with Yeom Jang Seon’s main lacy and he was the one who told Dongjoo’s whereabouts.

Yeom Jang Seon’s main lackey called him to let him know that Dongjoo was live and well and told him his whereabouts so of course Mr. Yeom the henchman to get Seo Dongjoo. 

Yeom called his other smaller lackeys to get everything set up to take Dongjoo over there to get the info on the two trillion dollars that’s supposedly inside his head.

Meanwhile Seo Dongjoo was still trying to get his memory back and this is why he went over to the boutique to speak with the person that custom made his tuxedo and luckily he was able to speak with the master of the clothing.

As the smaller henchmen of Yeon were setting things up to torture him but the main lackey’s job was to catch Seo Dongjoo to take him over to the site. Mr main lackey was dressed up like a delivery man to blend in with the crowd so it wouldn’t look so obvious but unfortunately he wasn’t able to capture because the master of the boutique was calling him since he forgot to take something. Dongjoo forgot to take the bag with his tuxedo inside.

Ironically Dongjoo wasn’t the only person struggling with memory loss, Chairman Cha was going through something similar so he went over to Daesan hospital to get him checked out. Chairman Cha’s second daughter Cha Gook Hui’s husband Dr Kim was checking out the old Chairman. 

Chairman Cha was having lunch with Dr Kim and strangely enough Dongjoo was having lunch at the same spot. Chairman Cha spotted him and was wondering if the young guy he just saw was Dongjoo.

Dongjoo knew that someone was after him and while he was looking around, he got a call from Eunnam and she wanted to meet up with him at the park. Of course Hui Cheol saw Eunnam talking on the phone with Dongjoo again cus she was using her husband to call Dongjoo up.

Hui Cheol was complaining that all she thinks about is Dongjoo when he’s the one that is hurting right now.

By the way, Hyungsik looked so handsome in Episode 5 with his black outfit and his semi long hair. Hyungsik is able to rock any hair style! He is able to look so cool in short hair, charming in semi long hair, and like a royalty with uber long hair. Man, why is Park Hyungsik so darn perfect? Anyways, let’s back to the story here hehehe….

Dongjoo was thinking about what the boutique lady was talking about and seemed like he couldn’t get that out of his mind.

Chairman Cha decided to follow Dongjoo the moment he spotted him but also Yeom’s lackeys were chasing him too. Dongjoo was waiting for Eunnam to get there but she was a little too late. Yeom’s lackey almost had him but missed him because of Chairman Cha getting to him first.

Chairman Cha was shocked because Dongjoo couldn’t remember him at all. Mr. Yeom’s men were watching Dongjoo close to look for the right moment to catch him but unfortunately they couldn’t get to him since Dongjoo hurriedly took a cab and ran off. However, Yeom’s boys were chasing him with their truck that they borrowed from some shipping company.

Chairman Cha looked so concerned about the whole situation and I don’t blame him. Yeom Jang Seon was preparing to drink a glass of high class fancy wine as a celebratory gesture but unfortunately his lackey did not bring him the man that stores 2 trillion won in his head.

It’s so obvious that Eunnam’s relationship with her mother is really bad. It looked like Eunnam was gonna end her life at one point in her life. I’m not a huge fan of Eunnam but I think part of it is her mother’s fault. Cha Deok Hui seems like a greedy woman to me.

This drama Buried Hearts is most certainly a revenge story. At first I thought the revenge thing was only gonna be with our main man Seo Dongjoo but that’s not the case at all. Dongjoo isn’t the only one trying to get the enemies back but Eunnam is basically doing the same. Eunnam can’t stand her step father Heo Ildo because she feels that Heo Ildo was the one that took not only daddy from her but also he took away his happiness too. Cha Deok Hui is definitely a greedy woman and this is the reason why Eunnam tells her mom that she must have forgotten about her father Yeo Soonho.

The thing that Eunnam said to her mother didn’t leave my mind though. Eunnam said that she wouldn’t kill Huil Cheol just cus she’s in love with Seo Dongjoo and she’s not like her mother at all.

Eunnam finally got her cell phone back from her step father. I honestly had a hard time liking Eunnam but now I’m starting to understand her character because Heo Ildo really ruined the Yeo family’s life. 

Hui Cheol was hurt again and Eunnam’s mother couldn’t help but to wonder what happened and Hui Cheol was trying to come up with all kinds of excuses and it’s so awkward too.

Deok Hui’s sister was flipping out seeing Hui Cheol with a bandage on his forehead and Deok Hui of course calmed her down with a lame excuse. Even Guk Hui’s husband was trying to say something about Hui Cheol’s bandage on his forehead but she told Dr. Kim that it’s no big deal. However, the Chairman scolded Hui Cheol for not being able to take care of his own household.

Chairman Cha told Hui Cheol to go home not realizing that people are over to celebrate someone’s birthday/anniversary.

Chairman Cha realized that he screwed up cus he has a memory issue. Meanwhile, Mr. Yeom called Heo Ildo what was going on regarding Seo Dongjoo and Heo was complaining that Yeom didn’t call him early enough to let him know about everything.

Mr. Yeom was telling Mr. Heo that Seo Dongjoo might all of a sudden get his memory back and attack them and Yeom also reminded Heo that he’s the one who shot Seo Dongjoo after all.

Finally, Eunnam was able to talk to Dongjoo over the phone. Dongjoo was slowly piecing everything together. Dongjoo was asking Eunnam if they were supposed to take a trip together and for some reason she couldn’t make it. Eunnam just told Dongjoo to go over to her grandfather’s house.

Dongjoo was telling Eunnam that he has a hard time trusting anybody at this point and especially Heo Ildo the CEO of Daesan Energy which I totally understand. It’s funny how about Dongjoo and Eunnam have a common enemy, Mr. Heo since Eunnam really dislikes him too.

Eunnam said she was suspicious of Heo Ildo, thinking that perhaps he physically deleted her beloved. Despite her so-called imagination Eunnam decided not to be suspicious of Ildo because he was always asking about Dongjoo earnestly wanting his safe return. Eunnam is so naive since she has no idea that the only reason Heo Ildo wants Dongjoo to be alive is because of the two trillion dollars that Dongjoo holds in his head. It seems like Dongjoo has no idea that Ildo wants him alive too.

Eunnam let Dongjoo inside the house and as he was climbing up the stairs inside the house, he ran into Taeyun, Eunnam’s step brother. It’s so weird that Yoon Sang Hyun, the guy that plays Taeyun in Buried Hearts is so well dressed here compared to Dr. Slump. It makes sense Yoon Sang Hyun played a different character in Dr. Slump who is of a different socio economic class. However, there’s something in common because in both Dr. Slump and Buried Hearts, Yoon Sang Hyun’s characters treat Hyungsik’s characters as his actual brother.

Tae Yun wasn’t the only one who was shocked to see Dongjoo back again, Cha Deok Hui was just as shocked too if not more. Cha Deok Hui wants Dongjoo gone and out of their lives for good but unfortunately Eunnam keeps on bringing him back into their lives because he is the love of her life.

Eunnam greeted Dongjoo with a light eye smile and of course Hui Cheol wasn’t too happy about Dongjoo’s appearance. Both Eunnam and Hui Cheol were wearing traditional Korean outfits/Hanbok for the occasion.

Heo Ildo was happy to see Dongjoo again, not because he likes him but because he can somehow get that two trillion won out of his head although Chairman Cha really did seem happy to see Dongjoo since he can’t really function without the young man.

Everyone was gathered together to have a special birthday meal but all the people gathered there looked so darn awkward and it was so hard to watch. However, Hyungsik’s puppy eyes were at it again when he was looking around awkwardly!

Taeyun was asking Dongjoo why he calls himself Seong Hyeon and Butler Gong heard the name Seong Hyeon as she was bringing out the three layered cake for the occasion. 

I’m starting to wonder why Butler Gong can’t help but to react in a certain way when hearing the name Seong Hyeon.

Taeyun took Butler Gong to her room while everybody there was looking awkward and not knowing what to do.

Dongjoo doesn’t really respond to that name like how he used to so Deok Hui’s sister Guk Hui thinks that Dongjoo doesn’t remember anything anymore.

Dongjoo was coming towards Eunnam and Hui Cheol quickly grabbed her hand and this made me realize once again that Hui Cheol really is serious about Eunnam although to both of the family members their marriage is nothing but a business transaction.

Hui Cheol didn’t have to be that paranoid since Dongjoo was going over to Eunnam just to give her phone back to her. Deok Hui was observing everything and she did not look happy at all.

Ildo was happy to see Dongjoo on one hand while on the other hand he seemed a little bothered about his return. Dongjoo said that he was worried about Mr. Heo’s critical condition when he initially saved him from drowning.

Dongjoo will keep the part saving Mr Heo a secret hehehe…When Ildo saw Dongjoo earlier he pretended to not know what was going on and the younger man felt that it would be best that he do the same thing because there might be some kind of special circumstances.

I love how Dongjoo looked so innocent interacting with Heo Ildo after all that happened. Hyungsik’s acting skills are so superb because he can go back and forth from Cool and Sexy to Cute and innocent…ARGH PARK HYUNGSIK YOU ARE TOO PERFECT FOR ME SIR!

Ildo looked so stupid in front of Dongjoo because he had a hard time outsmarting the guy. Despite Mr Heo being an enemy to Dongjoo to some degree, he was still prim and proper in front of Ildo.

Dr. Kim invited Dongjoo over to the Chairman’s private library/office inside the house because he wanted to know more about Dongjoo’s memory loss. Dr. Kim asked Dongjoo if he is able to remember anything at all and he answered that he does recall bits and pieces of trivial details around the house then he gave an example to what.

Both Chairman Cha and Mr Heo Ildo think that there is hope for Seo Dongjoo by the way he was explaining his situation. However, Chairman Cha wanted Dr. Kim is his second son in law, to help Dongjoo admit to the Daesan hospital to get tested and treated for his memory loss.

Mr. Heo Ildo didn’t want Dongjoo to be admitted into the hospital but he thought it would be a better idea to take Dongjoo back to his old apartment for his own comfort but it was so darn obvious that Ildo had ulterior motives. Ildo wanted Dongjoo to be at a place where there aren’t many watchful eyes so that way it would be easy for them to kidnap Dongjoo and take him to Mr. Yeom. Thankfully, Dongjoo decided to listen to Chairman Cha’s idea and be admitted into the hospital.

As soon as Dr. Kim took Dongjoo away, Ildo contacted Mr. Yeom to tell him about the situation and Mr. Yeom said exactly what I thought. Mr. Yeom Jang Seon thought it was a pity that Dongjoo was going to be admitted into the hospital since it would be so much easier and more convenient to kidnap Dongjoo from another place.

Mr. Yeom was thinking that there’s a good chance that Dongjoo is faking it so he could get out of the situation he’s in but Ildo was telling Yeom that it didn’t look like Dongjoo was putting on a show.

Mr Yeom is so obsessed with getting that two trillion won out of Dongjoo’s head that it doesn’t matter if Dongjoo really lost his memory or not because he wants Ildo to somehow crack his head and get it if he has to.

Heo Ildo was trying to convince Mr. Yeom Jang Seon that Seo Dongjoo indeed lost his memory. Well, that makes sense since Dongjoo didn’t remember Ildo when he saved him from drowning.

Butler Gong was in bed and Doek Hui brought some porridge for her to eat. I got the feeling that the Cha family really does think of her as family since they show how much they care about her even if she’s just the butler of the Cha’s.

Deok Hui was curious about something, she wanted to know if Butler Gong fainted after hearing Seong Hyeon’s name but she tried her best not to make it seem obvious so she made up some excuse by saying that she felt dizzy.

Dongjoo was admitted into the hospital and he was getting some good sleep while Mr Yeom snuck into his room.

Dongjoo did not recognize Mr. Yeom and he looked surprised by the fact that he really couldn’t remember him. Yeom Jang Seon then introduced himself and was coming closer to Seo Dongjoo. Even if Dongjoo didn’t recognize Mr. Yeom but his body sure did. Dongjoo looked frightened the closer Mr. Yeom approached him.

Mr. Yeom was full of crap telling Chairman Cha that he visited because he was worried about Director Seo which is completely untrue. The doctor who is in charge of Dongjoo told Chairman Cha and Mr. Yeom Jang Seon to leave because he is allowed to have visitors.

Mr. Yeom was looking all scary before leaving the room and told the doctor to keep in mind that Dongjoo might be putting on a show about his memory loss. The doctor was wondering if Dongjoo was able to remember anything new after waking up from his nap. But unfortunately there’s no new memory that has come up for our dear Dongjoo and the doctor thinks that he needs some sort of psychotherapy. 

The doctor was telling Dongjoo that his brain might have closed up his memory bank due to some shocking events of the past. And the doctor added that Dongjoo might have to see a psychologist/psychiatrist if he had to act like someone that lost his memory for some reason.

Eunnam went over to their old apartment where they were staying together and she couldn’t help but to look at the painting of the yacht on the sea which inspired Dongjoo to take a vacation out there and spend some quality time with Eunnam on the yacht. She was looking through the desk drawers to find some old pictures of Dongjoo and Sister Agnes. Also there was a picture of a young girl and some guy. Eunnam looked pretty emotional looking at some old things of Dongjoo but what made her even more emotional were the couples proposal rings. Dongjoo was gonna give her the ring when he proposed to her on the day that she got married to Hui Cheol.

Eunnam went over to the cathedral to meet with Dongjoo’s sister Agenes to tell her the bad news about Dongjoo. Sister Agenes looked concerned and rightfully so then she opened up about Dongjoo’s past saying that he lost his memory once before in the past a long time ago.

According to Chairman Cha, sister Agenes was the one who looked after Dongjoo ever since he was a little boy and he once lost his memory long ago. Chairman Cha was sharing all this with Heo Ildo.

Heo Ildo asked Chairman Cha about how he would be able to open his safe box if Dongjoo never recovers his memory and the old Cha was curious about whether Ildo knew about the piece of paper he wrote down the passcode for his safe.

Right after the scene where Ildo and the Chairman have a conversation discussing things about Dongjoo, we get to see something really sweet.

Ta-da! The doctor was heading over to Dongjoo’s room, he was doing pushups with his freaking toned body. Man, Park Hyungsik has a handsome face, he has nice style, he’s tall, he has long physique, he looks good in anything he wears and last but not least he has a very toned body. I remember Hyungsik wasn’t very toned before he went into the military, he was mostly scrawny then but after he got dismissed from his mandatory military service his body became nicely toned. 

The doctor was asking Dongjoo when he got the scars that he has on his shoulder but it seemed like he had no memory of that. The doctor wanted Dongjoo to get his brain waves tested so she told him to get on the bed to go to that particular room to do so but unfortunately it was some strange person who was trying to get him out of the hospital and yes, it was Yeom’s people….

As Dongjoo was being taken out of the hospital, the doctor was speaking with Chairman Cha and the old man wanted the doctor to ask the nun more about Dongjoo’s previous memory loss a long time ago.

Eunnam was taking sister Aegnes over to the doctor and they both witnessed some strange guys taking him somewhere in their van. The doctor realized that Dongjoo went missing and someone took him away.

Mr Yeom’s men finally managed to catch Seo Dongjoo and they took him to a place where they would be able to interrogate and torture the guy. Poor Dongjoo had to go through all kinds of torture where the men mainly would dunk his whole head in a tub full of water. I’m starting to think that Buried Hearts has a lot of water symbolism going and it makes sense Buried Hearts has another title of the show called Treasure Islands.

I feel bad while watching Dongjoo being tortured by Yeom’s men but at the same time he is so hot with his wet hair and also there are a lot of close ups too. I do have a bit of a hands and feet fetish hehehe…

While Yeom Jang Seon’s men were torturing Dong Joo, there was somebody behind the curtain talking through a microphone saying that Dongjoo should open up his mouth about the two trillion won since that’s the only way he would be able to survive. But unfortunately Dongjoo really doesn’t remember anything about the trillion won that’s supposedly stored inside his head.

Now everybody knows that Dongjoo was kidnapped. Heo Ildo, Yeo Eunnam, Sister Agnes, Dr. Kim and the lady doctor who’s in charge of Dongjoo were discussing what to do next. Ildo was thinking that it would be best not to get the police involved but instead it would be quicker to get help from his wife’s family.

Sister Agnes was sharing Dongjoo’s inner most thoughts with Eunnam and this made Eunnam’s eyes watery because she realized how much Dongjoo cared about her. I think as the episode progresses Yeo Eunnam seems to be full of regrets.

Sometimes I feel like Chairman Cha really thought of Dongjoo as his own son because he was so delighted to spend some time with Dongjoo in his hospital drinking a glass of their famous soju and raw eggs although he realized that Dongjoo wasn’t there in his room and it was some random woman asking him who are you? Speaking of raw eggs and soju, it sounds very strange but I want to try it someday because it does sound kinda interesting.

Mr Yeom’s men were torturing Dongjoo real badly to the point where he was looking all beaten up. I have to admit that Hyungsik has a lot of range in his acting abilities. When Dongjoo was being tortured beyond his limit he was going full on beast mode where he was going RAWR!!!!!!!!!!

Dongjoo turned into a beast and was able to manage getting back at the guys who were torturing him. Seo Dongjoo was able to get away from them and opened up the curtains on the other side of the room to see what’s going on in there. I have to mention that Hyungsik’s veiny neck was super sexy, and I’m still amazed how he can go from cute to sweet to dandy to sexy to a scary beast……

When Dongjoo opened up the curtains it was a big room that looked like some kind of an auditorium. Dongjoo saw an empty chair with a microphone on it and as he was trying to figure out what was going on around him the guy who was talking through the microphone moments ago came behind him and was choking him with metal chains.

The guy kept on pulling Dongjoo towards him really hard with the chain and Dongjoo’s face looked so pale and it kind of reminded me of Yihyun when he was slowly becoming a zombie. I really loved this scene because there are a lot of close up scenes of Shikkie’s handsome feet!

Anyways, Dongjoo really lucked out because Heo Ildo came at the right time to save Dongjoo from the perpetrator. Life for a life I guess since Dongjoo did save Heo Ildo’s life back in that southern island of Korea.

Heo Ildo brought Dongjoo back over to Chairman Cha’s place and he was a mess. Chairman Cha genuinely looked concerned about Dongjoo and his situation. Also, Yeom Jang Seon was there as well and he greeted Dongjoo by putting both of his hands on Dongjoo’s face. Dongjoo told everyone that Heo Ildo saved him from captivity.

The two chefs for Chairman Cha are obviously North Korean defectors the way they talk and the lady chef does talk a lot and she loves to gossip which makes Butler Gong’s face become frowny a bit. 

Honestly the two chefs who are North Korean defectors are annoying and I know they are supposed to be comic reliefs but they are not really all that comedic.

Chairman Cha mentioned something about the kidnappers wanting the account to the bank of Switzerland then Yeom interrupted Cha saying that he should’ve been kidnapped instead of Dongjoo.

Dongjoo thought that maybe he does have the two trillion won in his head but lost the memory of it because the kidnappers were being persistent about it. Then Yeom rebutted saying that doesn’t make sense because he wouldn’t tell Dongjoo such important information like that and Chairman Cha seemed to agree.

Chairman Cha told Yeom that he will tell the law enforcement that the people who kidnapped Dongjoo were the ones that are trying to get information to Daesan enterprises.

Chairman Cha thought it would be best for Yeom to stay behind the scene while he and Ildo get help from the prosecution department which he is familiar with. Chairman Cha thinks that it would be best for the prosecution team to be a part of this incident although Mr. Heo doesn’t necessarily agree with old man Cha’s idea.

Heo Ildo doesn’t think it would be such a good idea for Chairman Cha to work with the prosecution department because this is no simple matter and to make things worse Dongjoo has gunshot wounds.

Dongjoo took off his shirt to prove what Heo Ildo was saying was the truth. Chairman Cha was shocked to see Dongjoo’s gunshot wounds on his body. Again, Hyungsik as Dongjoo is so hot and sexy, I realized that this character shows off his body a lot….

Mr Yeom looked at Dongjoo’s body acting as if he didn’t know about any of this saying things like, Director Seo, you managed to stay alive. Yeom was acting in front of Cha, saying that he is on Dongjoo’s side when he really is the opposite of that. Chairman Cha has no idea that his son in law Heo was the one who shot Dongjoo and also Heo works for Yeom behind the scenes. Chairman Cha seems kinda naive in all of this.

Chairman Cha was still thinking that he should get the prosecution team to be involved in this but Dongjoo doesn’t want the prosecution department to be involved in this case.Dongjoo was telling Chairman Cha that the person that shot him and the one that wants this slush fund might be in the prosecution department. 

Dongjoo is suspicious about everything and Yeom agrees with what Dongjoo is saying. Mr. Yeom is such a slimy weasel and I think this guy is probably one of the worst villains in a Shikkie drama, bar none!

Dongjoo wants Chairman Cha to wait to get anybody else involved until some of his memories come back and also until he kinda has a vague idea of the one that shot him in the first place. I don’t know if Dongjoo is acting but he showed appreciation for both Mr. Heo and Yeom saved him and this bothered me a little bit because these two want Dongjoo dead at all cost. Besides, Yeom was the guy who sent his men to kidnap Dongjoo so the old silmey Yeom shouldn’t be treated like a savior ARGH!

Butler Gong brought some tea for the four men who were talking in the room and she said a few words to Dongjoo calling him Seong Hyeon although he told the butler lady that he wants to be called Dongjoo from now on.

To the current Dongjoo that name still seems a bit awkward to hear but he thinks that he would need to use the name Dongjoo to find out who he really is step by step. 

Mr. Yeom complimented Mr. Heo in a separate room because Ildo made it seem like it was someone else who tried to kill Seo Dongjoo instead of him.  Mr Yeom hardly ever complemented Mr. Heo but saying the words of compliments and praise means that Heo is doing exactly what Yeom wants him to be doing.

Mr Yeom thought that Heo Ildo was incredible for making it seem as if it  was another person that shot Dongjoo when he was the killer who tried to take him out. Yeom thought that Heo did a great job in stopping Chairman Cha for trying to get the prosecution team involved. But Yeom thought Heo put himself out there for saying that kind of stuff in front of Dongjoo because if Dongjoo regains his memories things could turn out bad for Mr. Heo.

Heo Ildo looked like he was helping Yeom and challenging him at the same time when he said something about Dongjoo mentioning the account number for the Swiss bank account which would lead him to mention his name, Heo Ildo.

When Heo Ildo is trying to focus or is focused about something he would go do some chin ups. After Ildo said what he said he started walking towards the high bars then Yeom Jang Seon thought he was being unusually determined about something.

Ildo thinks that someone should kill Seo Dongjoo again but for good so what he did to Dongjoo could be kept buried for life although Mr. Yeom thinks that he would never let that happen because Dongjoo is still carrying two trillion won in his head and whoever does anything to him before getting the two trillion won out of his head he would never let them live.

Heo Ildo was becoming daring by the minute, maybe Yeom praised him a little too much that it got to his head. The thing that shocked/surprised Yeom was when Ildo asked the old Yeom for half of the trillion won when they managed to get out of Dongjoo’s head. Yeom knew exactly what Ildo was talking about the old man was playing dumb asking him if Heo wants half of Dongjoo’s body of course it’s half of the two trillion won he wants not half of Dongjoo’s body. What Heo Ildo wants from Yeom is half of two trillion won but in all actuality it’s half of the swiss account.

Ildo couldn’t help but to wonder why Yeom wouldn’t reveal the fact that Dongjoo has managed to obtain the swiss account of the slush funds but then it seems like Heo Ildo is aware of Yeom Jang Seon’s intentions. Ildo thinks that the reason why Yeom is not able to reveal this fact is because he is afraid that Chairman Cha would be able to get it back once he finds out about it.

Ildo was pretty much making a deal with Yeom saying that he would be better off to lose half of the two trillion won than to lose everything. Mr. Heo is more conniving than I thought because in previous episodes it looked like Ildo was no different than one of his lackeys.

Yeom tried to negotiate with Ildo saying that he is willing to give him 10 percent of the two trillion and it’s meaningless to talk about what they are gonna do to Seo Dongjoo now. Yeom wants Ildo to somehow help him get that trillion won out of Dongjoo and after that he could pretty much do whatever he wants with him.

Dongjoo I mean Hyungsik looks good in all black. Hyungsik’s character Dongjoo wears a lot of all black or black and white but it makes sense since those two colors are Hyungsik’s favorite colors.

I think the scene where Dongjoo is listening to classical music is really hot. Dongjoo looks so atmospheric listening to classical music while wearing all black. 

I’m gonna say this again but it’s quite obvious that Chairman Cha cares about our dear Dongjoo. Chairman Cha told the male chef to the point where he was bugging him to go make some delicious but high quality chicken porridge for Dongjoo so he could be healthy.

The male chef asked Dongjoo if he remembered him but at first it seemed like he did but he really didnt cus Dongjoo thought that the male chef was the person that ran over to the scene during the cake incident. But apparently, Dongjoo was the one who recruited the North Korean defector male chef from some local restaurant that sells Gukbap.

Butler Gong brought a glass of raw eggs to help him remember who he is but Dongjoo had no idea that he did drink that stuff. Chairman Cha loved Drinking a glass of raw eggs every morning and he would recommend that to the others but they all hated it because of the smell but Dongjoo was willing to drink it with him and it made him really happy. Initially, Dongjoo drank the raw eggs just to be courteous but it grew on him and he started to like it after drinking it a few times.

Butler Gong thinks that the raw eggs would help Dongjoo recover and get his memory back. I wonder who Butler Gong really is because I feel he isn’t just an ordinary butler working for the Cha family. There is definitely more to Butler Gong than meets the eyes.

Dongjoo couldn’t help but to wonder if Butler Gong dropped the cake after hearing the name Seong Hyeon but of course she made up an excuse saying that she was just feeling dizzy and it has nothing to do with that name although it’s so obvious that name Seong Hyeon does trigger her but why though? Butler Gong added that she wouldn’t have been called Dongjoo by Seong Hyeon if that name was really that sensitive to her.

Dongjoo was thinking that maybe Seong Hyeon is the name he used when he was a little boy and for some reason Butler Gong’s eyes were wide open. The lady butler cannot seem to hide how sensitive she becomes after hearing that name Seong Hyeon.

Dongjoo was determined to recover his memory one by one,starting with drinking raw eggs in a glass. Butler Gong told Dongjoo to contact her through the intercom if he needs more porridge with her huge googly eyes. I can’t help but to wonder if the lady butler is somehow related to Dongjoo. I want to know more about Dongjoo’s relationship with the lady butler and sister Agnes. Also, I’m wondering if Dongjoo knew Eunnam when they were children, that’s another thing that I’m curious about. I forgot to mention Dongjoo’s relationship with Hui Cheol back in high school and I’m guessing we’ll find more about these relationships as the series progresses?

Oh, I love Hyungsik’s semi long smooth hair in an all black outfit that matched Butler Gong’s all black outfit, I wonder if that’s a symbol of something…Hmmmm…

Butler Gong looked like her heart stopped and she showed that when she was right outside of his room. I don’t know if this is at all possible but for some reason I think Butler Gong might be Dongjoo’s mother but she looked too old to be his mother so maybe his grandmother? I’m thinking that both of Dongjoo’s parents are gone from the car accident so maybe his grandmother raised him and that’s Butler Gong? Hmmmmm…that remains to be seen.

Dongjoo not only looks good in all black but he also looks good in all white. Well, black and white are Hyungsik’s favorite colors so I guess the writers took that into consideration? But anyways, Dongjoo looked so hot trying to do chin ups and for sure way hotter than Heo Ildo doing chin ups hahahaha…

Dongjoo told Ildo that looking up at Ildo’s work out room looked familiar when was on his way over to the house. Dongjoo claimed that it looked familiar because his memory was slowly returning and Heo Ildo let Dongjoo use the high bars to work out from time to time although Ildo told him that’s not the case and of course Ildo is right with this. Before Dongjoo lost his memory we saw Ildo working out whenever Dongjoo was on his way over to the Cha family house.

Ildo corrected Dongjoo saying that it was him who was exercising and not Dongjoo and Mr. Heo emphasized in his low and deep voice that Dongjoo looked up to him from down there. Ildo was saying that there’s an error to Dongjoo’s memory that he claimed to obtain again. Ildo told Dongjoo that it was him who was working out on the high bars and not Dongjoo. Oh my, Dongjoo looked so cute smiling so big and Mr Heo was talking to him. Like I said time and time again, Hyungsik is so good at going between Hot, Cool, Cute, Innocent, and Sexy!

It seemed like Heo Ildo was nervous having Dongjoo around him for too long because his tone of voice, facial expression and overall body language looked uncomfortable around him. I loved the little interaction between Dongjoo and Ildo because Dongjoo looked like he was so innocent around Mr. Heo while the older man was looking super uncomfortable in front of the younger counterpart. 

Then all of a sudden Dongjoo popped the question by asking Ildo if he’s the one that tried to take him out by shooting him. The men were both laughing and the scene looked so awkward to watch. Dongjoo was saying that the little pieces of memory that’s starting to come back is indicating that Mr. Heo is the one who tried to take him out by shooting him. Dongjoo had a dream where he was saving Mr. Heo from drowning and right before he woke up the older man shot him with a gun! Bang!

I loved how Dongjoo’s eyes went from cute puppy eyes to deadly serious eyes. Hyungsik is very good with his eyes and they can go from cute to sexy real fast.

Ildo was saying that Dongjoo is desperate to find out who tried killing him and it was his mind playing games with him for putting Ildo in the killer’s place since they never got along to begin with. Dongjoo was wondering if he had a dream like that because he has ill feelings towards Heo Ildo which seems understandable for him to feel that way at this point.

We are definitely beginning to see the drama between Dongjoo and Mr. Heo. Ildo was so caught up with the conversation that he had with Dongjoo that he accidentally had the dumbbell in his hand. 

After Dongjoo got a shower he went over to his designated room then he got a phone call from Heo Ildo and he told him that he has a good way to help Dongjoo gain his memory. 

The doctor who is in charge of helping Dongjoo get his memory back had a guest over and it was his father who is also friends with Heo Ildo. I feel like all the characters are somehow interrelated/interconnected.

Dr Yihyeon is the doctor who is in charge of helping Dongjoo recollect his memory and her dad planted some cucumbers in her front yard. As Yihyeon was eating the cucumber that he planted, Ildo got out of the car and her dad was surprised to see him.

Ildo brought Dongjoo over to Dr. Yihyeon so he can have some therapy sessions with her. While Ildo was speaking with Dr. Yihyeon her dad gave Dongjoo his famous cucumber he planted saying that there’s all kinds of taste to it and from the looks of it the younger man seemed to enjoy it.

Dr. Yiheyon’s dad was observing Dongjoo because he looked familiar but Ildo told him not to bother trying to figure it out since he is not able to remember the past at all. 

Ildo left Dongjoo with Dr. Yihyeon since she’s gonna be the one helping her professionally to get his memory back. 

Dr. Yihyeon’s dad is always sleepy because he is always going around all over the nation to make money. Ildo was telling Mr. Kang that he wouldn’t have to live such a difficult life if he became a professor for Daesan Hospital. Yiheyon’s dad was saying it was impossible for him to do that because he scolded Ildo for marrying Deok Hui and becoming the son in law for a large enterprise after Eunnam’s father passed away.

Yihyeon was happy that she made it into working for Daesan hospital and she was bragging about it to her father but he recommended that it would be better off if she worked at another hospital because he didn’t want people to think that Yihyeon got a job there through personal connections.

Yihyeon thinks that her father is not a twisted person at all but to her he seems to act so differently towards Heo Ildo Ajusshi. Mr. Kang was saying all those twisted things in the past cus he was perhaps jealous of Mr. Heo. However as time passed by he thought that Yeo Soonho/Eunnam’s father would be happy that Deok Hui and Ildo are living well. 

Mr. Kang/ Yihyeon’s father was wondering if Ildo was living the good life but he didn’t seem so sure about that. Mr. Kang wouldn’t want to go back to the past and be young again but then from time to time he can’t help but want to go back to the times when Deok Hui, Yeo Soonho, Heo Ildo and himself hung out and had fun back in college. From what Yihyeon’s father was saying, Eunnam’s father and Heo Ildo were friends back in college? Ildo was asking Mr. Kang if he missed those days but Mr. Kang doesn’t miss that time but he misses them getting along well together…

Meanwhile, Dongjoo was getting his hypnotherapy from Dr. Yihyeon. Dongjoo saw a black dog then a white dog, a dalmatian dog, then back to the dog being black again. The color of the toy dog in the car kept on changing and Dongjoo had a hard time remembering the details as he was going through the therapy session.

The dog disappeared then the car sped up in Dongjoo’s head. Dongjoo saw his father then him. Dr. Yihyeon asked who was driving the car but Dongjoo was struggling to get to that part due to the rain scene that was happening in his mind.

Dongjoo was saying that he had to drive carefully but he doesn’t know how to drive. From the looks of it there was a shadow of a grown man and most likely that was his father and the one sitting on the passenger’s seat was him. 

Dongjoo then mentioned that there was a little girl sitting in the back and doctor Yihyeon wanted to know who she was. Dongjoo said it was just a little girl he knew back then. We got to see the little tennis from the little girl and it’s the same ones from one of the previous episodes.

Dongjoo was telling the doctor that the little girl was sleeping well even if it was raining really hard. The little girl was wearing a school uniform, she had a little brooch on her jacket and she had a particular looking hair scrunchy too.

Dongjoo was tossing and turning when he saw light coming towards him in his mind then the doctor called his name, of course she called him Dongjoo at first but when she called him Seong Hyeon he calmed down for some strange reason.

Mr. Yeom was deep in thought and he was thinking about what Heo Ildo told him the night before. Heo Ildo told Mr. Yeom that he would be better off giving half of the two trillion won to Heo because if he doesn’t he could lose everything.

The slush funds that are in the Swiss account is called the Loving the country funds where Mr. Yeom is used for certain political candidates. This is so strange because this kinda mirror the current Korean society right now which I dont’ want to get too detailed about at this point in time. 

Heo Ildo called Yeom Jang Seon when Mr. Yeom was on a phone call then Yeom asked Ildo how the Mr. Two Trillion Won was doing. Ildo was telling Yeom that Dongjoo was getting some hypnotherapy. Yeom was wondering if that would be effective in bringing Dongjoo’s memory back. Mr. Heo is looking forward to this hypnotherapy because he personally thinks that it will be effective in bringing Dongjoo’s memory back for the two trillion won.

It seems like Mr. Yeom has someone he serves that we’re not seeing on the screen. Mr Yeom was telling his main lackey complaining to him that Ildo is doing hypnotherapy on Mr Two Trillion. 

Mr. Yeom is regretting that he had brought up Heo Ildo as his own because his idea of this hypnotherapy is stupid in his mind because Yeom thinks that something weak like hypnotherapy most likely wouldn’t bring Dongjoo’s memory back. However, Yeom’s main lackey said something that made the old man’s antennas go up. The main lackey said maybe the best way to get Dongjoo’s memory back is to use shock therapy since he lost his memory through shock.

Mr. Yeom liked his main lackey’s idea of using shock therapy on Dongjoo then suddenly he asked Eunnam to have a talk with him which made Hui Cheol curious but the lackey acted like he had no idea why the old Yeom is acting so strangely like that.

Hui Cheol asked for more info and the lackey didn’t want to tell him anything while Eunnam looked really concerned.

Dr. Yihyeon was doing some research while sipping her tea then Dongjoo was freaking out in the other room. Dongjoo was so scared that he was curling up in the corner and his eyes looked watery too as if he was crying. This made the doctor concerned about him and rightfully so.

Eunnam texted the doctor and wanted to talk to her over the phone while Dongjoo was in the bathroom washing his face to cool himself down. 

Eunnam wanted to meet up with the doctor while Dongjoo was present but Dr. Yihyeon thought it would be better for them to meet on another day since Dongjoo is going through some chaotic episode at the moment. Eunnam did let Sister Agnes know that Dongjoo is safe and in good hands.

Dr. Yihyeon invited Dongjoo to have a cup of tea with her and at first it was all quiet and Dongjoo opened his mouth by asking her a question. Dongjoo wanted to know if his therapist is experienced with hypnotherapy and for how long she’s been doing this kind of work.

Dr. Yihyeon/Dr. Kang said she started out as a hypnotherapist before getting her actual medical license so she’s been doing hypnotherapy a lot longer. Then suddenly Dongjoo admitted to the doctor that the wound that she saw while he was in the hospital was not a regular wound but a gunshot wound.

Dongjoo is in a chaotic state of mind because his mind is constantly telling him that Heo Ildo was the one who tried to kill him and he thought maybe there was some kind of an error in his mind. Although, the doctor wasn’t all that surprised since Heo Ildo Ajusshi told her about it earlier.

Dongjoo was telling Dr Yihyeon that he’s been having the same nightmare over and over again. The doctor was hearing him and looking concerned or at least trying her best to understand him. Dr Kang said that she’ll try her best to help Dongjoo gain his memory back and she also mentioned that Mr. Heo wanted that from his well.

The lady doctor asked Dongjoo if he has a sister and if she’s a nun then told him that she would like to meet with him. The appointment for Dongjoo to meet up with Sister Agnes was all set up and Eunnam came to pick him up. Eunnam looked so cheerful around Dongjoo but gloomy around Hui Cheol and his family.

Eunnam told Dongjoo that his sister Agnes was a flower and tree expert so she’s near the garden somewhere. 

Dongjoo was in the car with Eunnam since she’s driving Dongjoo over to see his dear Sister Agnes and all of a sudden there’s melodic music during this scene/segment. I don’t know but the moment I heard the male voice singing it sounded like Hyungsik’s voice but I don’t know since there are a lot of Korean male singers that sound similar although Hyungsik does have a very unique voice compared to most.

Normally it’s very easy to tell Shikkie’s voice but the guy who sang this particular song while Eunnam’s driving Dongjoo over to see Sister Agnes really did sound like Hyungsik. The song is called Next to you by a singer named Lee Raon. I’m starting to wonder if we’re gonna get an OST SONG from Shikkie this time around….Who knows? Maybe towards the end of the show? Or maybe not……

Dongjoo looked like he was starting to remember something bit by bit when he saw Eunnam’s tattoo on her wrist. Dongjoo was staring into Eunnam in a more loving way unlike before and also Eunnam returned the stare back to him. The two looked like they were about to kiss again but that was a false alarm….Maybe it’s too early for that to happen.

Eunnam brought Dongjoo over to Sister Agnes’ shop safely although his sister was on the other side of the road because she just got out of a taxi cab. Sister Agnes waved at Dongjoo and Dongjoo just kinda stared at her from a distance.

Sister Agnes was so happy to see Dongjoo that she ran over to see him but unfortunately, BAM! I guess this was the shock therapy that Yeom Jang Seon was thinking about but why his sister and not Eunnam?

After the truck hit Sister Agnes both Dongjoo and Eunnam froze up, not knowing how to respond to this. However, the shock therapy did seem to work instead of the hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy only brought fuzzy details to mind but the shock therapy had scenes in his mind connecting together which made a lot more sense.

Mr Yeom was meditating and when he opened his eyes he knew that everything is pretty much going to plan since he knows for a fact that the shock therapy will definitely work and it did because Dongjoo looked like he regained most of his memory back from the way the episode ended.
