The episode starts out with Daeyoung watching the news in his office and of course it was about the medical accident relating to Jungwoo and it has been found out that it was the doings of the Macau organized criminals but unfortunately a Korean medical professional was involved in it as well.
According to the news that Daeyoung and Hongrang were watching, they were getting into the details about the incident. Mr. A was an anesthesia professional and he’s also a member of a pharmaceutical company. He was to receive some benefits and stocks by cooperating with an organized B syndicate based in Macau. They were involved in the family affairs of the Macau crime boss and this Mr. A man provided some drug called Heparin and this contributed to the death of Ms. Chang. And also this Mr. A guy provided a rebate to some university hospital and this news has shocked many people.
The investigation was concluded after Mr. A passed away three weeks ago. Everyone that’s related to Haneul were all watching this news. Daeyoung, Hongran, Bada, and Mrs. Kong. Bada’s mom turned it off because it was just giving bad vibes that they don’t need right now.
Bada thought it would be useful watching it because if they know exactly what happened then they would be able to comfort Haneul more efficiently. Bada thinks that Haesung Pharmaceuticals were the ones that caused the accident on purpose. Bada just couldn’t help but to come up with the conclusion that Haesung decided to cut the tail off because the police are starting to investigate this case more thoroughly. Bada was relieved that his sister came out fine because it could’ve been a lot worse.
As Bada and Mrs. Kong was talking about the incident, Haneul came into her hospital room but she seemed all ready to go home though. Haneul hasn’t worn regular civilian clothes in a while so Bada was feeling a little awkward seeing her like that again.
Haneul’s mother was wondering how everything is regarding with her recovery and she was telling her mother that the doctor told her that everything is fine although she does have to come back in two weeks to get a few check ups.
Haneul’s mother was relieved and happy that her precious daughter is okay again and she told her that she made some ox bone soup especially for her. However, she told her mom to head on out first because she needs to stop by somewhere real quick.
Apparently both Jungwoo and Haneul know all the doctors at the hospital she was staying at for a while. Haneul came to speak with one of the main doctors there and she apologized for not being able to greet him appropriately before she left. The man that Haneul was speaking to was the manager for a certain department and he told her that he feels bad for not being able to catch on to the things that were going on around him which cost Haneul her career.
This doctor now knows that Haneul was robbed of the research papers she wrote and everything she worked so hard for and he realized that she was practically robbed of her young working years so he knows that she had to go through a lot of heartaches due to these incidents that happened.
This doctor in a managerial position apologized profusely and suggested that it’s time for her to go where she belongs and find her place in the world once more. This doctor in a high position thinks that Haneul contributed to fighting against corruption and he thinks that by Nam Haneul returning to the hospital would undo all the damages that caused her and the hospital.
Haneul was at a cafe drinking coffee and chit chatting with Hongran as usual. Hanuel told Hongran that she got an offer to be an assistant professor at the university. Hongran congratulated her and was happy for her but then Haneul didn’t look as happy as she could be. Hanuel’s goal was to be a medical professor, that was her ultimate life goal so she should be happy but her face still was filled with gloom which confused Hongran a bit.
Haneul was looking a little gloomy because she felt like she pushed somebody out of the picture so she could be there. Basically, she felt like she was robbing someone to reach her ultimate goal and that’s why she had guilt written all over her face.
But Hongran thought Haneul has the right to be there because she deserves that much while the person that’s out of the picture is basically paying the price for what he’d done. Haneul is finally stepping towards her goal even though it took her a while to get there because she took the long and hard scenic route hehehe…
Haneul was wondering if she could be fine again. She couldn’t help but to think that she is well enough to do her job properly. These kinds of worries were clouding her mind at the moment. Haneul couldn’t help but to laugh a little because she just doesn’t seem to have the confidence and the self assurance.
Meanwhile, we have Jungwoo and Daeyoung walking on the sidewalk. Jungwoo seemed out of it while Daeyoung was hungry and he wanted to go out and eat something already. Daeyoung asked Jungwoo if they should go have Korean cold noodles, or Bean noodles. Jungwoo looked so out of it that he wasn’t even responding to Daeyoung’s questions.
Daeyoung asked if they should go have some fire squid to take all of their stress away. In Korea there is this weird concept about spicy food releasing stress but anyway……Jungwoo was going to say, I don’t really feel like … .but Daeyoung didn’t let him finish the sentence and he told him not to say anything is fine….
Daeyoung was saying that a man that just says, let’s eat anything or anything is fine is the most uncharming man ever!
Daeyoung only gave Jungwoo three options to choose from. He needed to choose between: Korean cold noodles, Bean noodles, or Spicy squid.
The news about that incident was still on tv and it caught Jungwoo’s eyes but Daeyoung grabbed him and Jungwoo was weirded out by it and that’s why the younger boy was like, what are you doing?!
Then Daeyoung said he will treat Jungwoo out to lunch, he’ll pay for it all. Daeyoung said he will even treat him to coffee afterwards. Jungwoo couldn’t help but to smile with such an offer like that but he still didn’t want to eat lunch with him because he wanted to go somewhere so he asked for Daeyoung’s permission for it. Daeyoung was such a nice guy that he said he was certainly okay with Jungwoo leaving early for today. Jungwoo didn’t have a surgery to perform on his schedule so he wasn’t just leaving work irresponsibly.
Daeyoung was worried that something happened and Jungwoo said that he needed to go someplace where he could hear about all the ins and outs from someone who knows about it directly.
Jungwoo looked like he was at the police station for some reason. Jungwoo came to meet with Nurse Park who was associated with this crime. Jungwoo knew that the investigation had ended but he wanted to hear from Nurse Park himself.
Jungwoo wanted to know what was written on Min Kyungmin’s notepad. Nurse Park said that he just wanted to know more about the medical incident that happened. Unfortunately, Nurse. Park had no idea that they were involved with Haesung Pharmaceutical at the time so she made an appointment with Dr. Min and met up with him because she was shocked about the fact that Dr. Min knew about it all. That’s when he suggested that they should reduce the dosage for the heparin.
Then Nurse. Park continued on and said that they decided to go ahead with that decision because sooner or later the CCTV won’t be working and nothing will be recorded so they would be safe to act out on their plans. Then Kyungmin told Nurse Park that they should prevent any kind of death at Yeo Jungwoo’s clinic if they could help it.
Jungwoo was done talking to Nurse Park and he heard everything he needed to know and as he was heading out of there he got a phone call from his mother. Apparently, this woman has been trying to reach him and she’s frustrated because he hasn’t been picking up his phone. Jungwoo apologized to his mother like a well mannered boy he is and then the wicked witch of the west/ Jungwoo’s mother told him that she watched the news.
Jungwoo’s mother told him that she couldn’t believe he was spending all that time next to such a lowly being like that wasting his time. My gosh, I do not like Jungwoo’s mother at all! She gets on my nerves big time!
Jungwoo decided to ask his mom a question while he still had the chance. He asked her if she knew about Kyungmin’s father’s death when he took some time off cus he wasn’t feeling well. Jungwoo’s mom confidently told him she was well aware of that. I feel like this woman is a bit of a psychopath. It seems like she completely turned off that part of her when she could exercise some empathy but this woman doesn’t seem to have any of it period.
Jungwoo’s mother came up with a lame excuse saying that she wanted to tell him but she couldn’t because all that happened during the period of his major exam, THE KOREAN SAT! Then the lame woman added that they should both be grateful that Jungwoo got high test scores to prevent anything from happening cus GOD forbid, if he didn’t get the desirable result then she wouldn’t have stood just idly by according to her.
Jungwoo’s mother asked him if his schedule is open on Saturday because she would like to see him. Her smile kinda got on my nerves though, cus it looked so fake. What good is wanting to see him when she wasn’t even there for him when he needed her the most. ARGH! Jungwoo’s mom just irritates me! She is worse than some Chaebol ladies I’ve seen in Korean dramas over the years. Speaking of Chaebol ladies, even Changsoo’s mom from High Society had more heart than this……
Jungwoo’s mom told him that his father will be visiting Seoul because of a Seminar. The mom told him that this would be a good opportunity to see his face. Jungwoo used him being busy as an excuse and hung up on her. Geesh, I would too when I have to talk with someone that has no heart at all.
Haneul was back in her neighborhood, home sweet home. However, she felt rather awkward because she thinks that a lot has changed since she’s been hospitalized for three weeks.
It was the later part of the summer, the air was a lot cooler than before she got admitted to the hospital and Kyungmin was no longer around anymore. Haneul started feeling guilty because she was thinking if the situation would’ve been different if they hadn’t met that night. Jungwoo was feeling just as guilty as Haneul, if not more since he was like a brother that he never had. Jungwoo was thinking if things would’ve been better if he did forgive him when he had the chance. The what ifs made both Jungwoo and Haneul miserable.
Haneul and Jungwoo ran into each other. Haneul asked Jungwoo if he just got off work and he said yes. Jungwoo was gonna call Haneul and he felt bad that he couldn’t stop by when she was getting discharged from the hospital. Haneul was like, you don’t have to say that, I’m not a child anymore. Then Haneul grabbed Jungwoo’s hand. Wow, she grew as a character because she is no longer a working stiff and she also learned how to enjoy life from Jungwoo.
Jungwoo and Haneul were walking home together hand in hand and they were both asking each other how their day went. They both answered that their day went okay and they are doing good although that was a lie, they weren’t doing okay. Jungwoo knew that they are both grieving right now so he wanted to deal with his own sadness quietly. They were pretending that they were okay although they are really not doing okay in reality. Both Jungwoo and Haneul didn’t know how to deal with such sadness on this huge scale so they were just pretending as if nothing happened.
————————————————————————————————————————–
Jungwoo joined Haneul’s family for dinner and ever since he got to live on Haneul’s rooftop he’s become so close to Haneul’s family. I think it’s kinda cute that Haneul’s whole family treats him more like an actual family than his own.
Jungwoo was complimenting Mrs. Kong’s cooking and he was saying all of her side dishes are so good that he just can’t help but to eat to his heart’s content. Jungwoo was complimenting Mrs. Kong’s seasoned fish cakes and he added that he can’t help but to be amazed by it.
Bada decided to intervene and tell Jungwoo the reason why her seasoned fish cake is so good. When they used to live in Busan, Haneul’s mom used to own a fish cake factory although it disappeared and became history due to other major brand name companies doing so well. Because of the fact that Mrs. Kong has a background in working in the fish cake industry, she has the know-how of picking out excellent fish cakes.
Jungwoo was able to agree with Bada and he couldn’t help but to react to Mrs. Kong’s fish cakes as soon as he took a bite of it. Mrs. Kong wanted to get Jungwoo a box of fish cake when they go to Busan for the weekend since he likes it so much. Jungwoo was surprised that they will be going to Busan for the weekend.
Haneul’s mom told Jungwoo that they are leaving on Saturday and around this time of year they go to Busan because it’s not so hot while the air is a bit on the cooler side. It’s the perfect time of year to go to Busan according to Mrs. Kong. They get to eat what they want as much as they want, go visit someone that they want to see and they come home after that.
Bada was telling Jungwoo that it’s usually the three of them. Three of them mean: Bada, Mrs. Kong and Uncle Taesun because Haneul is usually busy so she never really tagged along for the ride.
Haneul said that she wants to tag along this time but Mrs. Kong wasn’t sure if she should go since she is still recovering her rib cage injury due to the accident. Haneul’s mom was concerned that she would break it if she moved around too much since she injured it. Haneul told her mother that she doesn’t need to worry about it since they patched up her rib cage together perfectly so she’s gonna be fine besides a lot of the people go on trips after they go through a major surgery.
Haneul hasn’t been to Busan with her family in a while so she wanted to go with them this time. Mrs. Kong told her that she could go with them this time, Haneul was able to convince her that she is well enough to take a road trip. Haneul’s mother looked relieved while happy that her daughter gets to go with them this time. I like Mrs. Kong’s comforting face, she really is a great mother unlike a certain somebody hehehe…I really liked how Haneul and her mom smiled at each other and both of their eyes looked so soothing and comforting at the same time.
Jungwoo wanted to tag along too though. Everyone was shocked that Jungwoo wanted to go with them on this family road trip. Jungwoo and Haneul came up to Jungwoo’s apartment for a cup of tea/coffee and they were discussing whether Jungwoo should go to Busan with the family or not. Haneul looked a little surprised by this and Jungwoo was like, I can’t go with you guys? It’s not like Haneul was against it but she was worried that Jungwoo might be exhausted because it’s gonna be a day trip since Uncle Taesun has to come back to open up his shop the next day.
Jungwoo was okay with the fact it was gonna be a day trip and he confessed under his breath that he doesn’t want to be in Seoul that day although he didn’t say why though and of course it was because of his parents coming to Seoul that day for a seminar.
At first it looked like he was talking to Haneul but he was more or less talking to himself out loud. Haneul asked him what he just said but he didn’t want to disclose it.
Uncle Taesun wasn’t sure if Jungwoo and Haneul are doing okay after what happened and Mrs. Kong didn’t know what to think because it was hard to tell if they were actually doing or okay or just pretending to be okay. Bada added that they seemed like they got over it fast because after they went to Kyungmin’s funeral they didn’t come out of their rooms for days. Bada also added that both Jungwoo and Haneul started to chit chat and laugh together ever since last week.
Uncle Taesun said it’s hard to tell what they are really thinking because they are not talking about it and it’s really hard to tell just by looking at them unfortunately. Haneul’s mom thought that they might need a breath of fresh air since they went through so much cus of all that happened and they should use this opportunity to bring their moods up by taking them on this road trip and this road trip could be their path to healing perhaps.
Then all of a sudden Mrs. Kong changed the subject as soon as Haneul walked in. Mrs. Kong asked Bada how far he went with his new girlfriend and he said he finally got to kiss her. Haneul looked annoyed by what she heard then Mrs. Kong was saying she wasn’t talking about the progress with his new girlfriend but she was actually asking about his skill level in learning how to make wheat noodles from his uncle. Uncle Taesun intervened and said that Bada knows how to make the noodles but he still has to learn how to make the seasonings for it and the ratio of how much to use is something he needs to learn as well.
Everyone was still getting ready although Jungwoo was the one out first waiting for Haneul and her family to come out. As Jungwoo was waiting for them he got a phone call from his father and he told him that he won’t be able to make it out to see them but unfortunately, Haneul was able to hear all that and now she knows the reason why he didn’t want to stay in Seoul over the weekend. Jungwoo lied that he also had a seminar he needed to attend over the weekend too.
Finally all of Haneul’s family members were coming out one by one and they had a lot of bags full of food and they also had a cooler full of food and drinks in it as well. Haneul’s mother made sure that they had their phone chargers too and yes when it comes to road trips, phone chargers are a must and good food and drinks too.
Haneul’s mom brought steamed corn, jerky and steam bread for the trip. Mrs. Kong was basically answering Jungwoo’s question because he was like what’s all this? This goes to show that he has never taken a family trip before. Bada added sarcastically that his mom practically brought all of her kitchen over to the car.
Haneul was like people would think we are just going on a trip to eat and Mrs. Kong was like that’s what life is all about, is to eat. Man, Haneul’s mom is so straight forward and she knows how to enjoy life to the fullest and she knows how to be happy with the little things in life which are hard to do at times.
Jungwoo volunteered to drive but Bada said he’ll be driving. Bada was telling Jungwoo that it might be his sister’s car but he used it a lot while taking girls out on dates so he is more used to it so it would be better if he drives the car. Mrs. Kong said that Jungwoo should just use this opportunity to look out the window and enjoy the scenery and the uncle said it doesn’t matter who drives because they should take turns driving since it’s a long distance.
Jungwoo looked so awkward and even uncomfortable because the two grown ups took the window seats while he was sitting between Haneul’s mama and Uncle Taesun. It doesn’t help that Jungwoo is a tall guy with long legs.
The three of them who were sitting in the back seat looked so awkward. Bada was driving, Haneul was sitting in the passenger’s seat while the rest were sitting in the backseat looking all squished.
The three were sitting awkwardly for a while till Mrs. Kong decided to open her mouth and asked Jungwoo if he wanted to eat something and Uncle Taesun thought it was too soon to be eating.
Haneul’s mom was passing around this thing that looked like a pouch, I couldn’t really make out what it was but I want to assume it’s some kind of jelly juice. Jungwoo thanked Mrs. Kong and passed one over to Uncle Taesun and Haneul’s mom told her to have one and pass the other one to Bada.
Mrs. Kong told Haneul to open one for Bada since he is driving and all. Haneul’s mom was passing around other food items like the steam buns that she steamed herself, steamed corn, and pork meat. Jungwoo thanked Mrs. Kong but it seemed he didn’t know what to do with all that food. Uncle Taesun thought that her sister was being weird, wanting to eat just the pork by itself in the car and Mrs. Kong answered that it’s going to be the appetizer for the drink she’s about to have.
Haneul’s mom wanted to drink Makgeolli in the car along with some steamed pork and her brother thought she was being weird to do that in the car. Bada agreed with his uncle and he was embarrassed that Jungwoo would look down on his family for acting like this. Mrs. Kong was saying that drinking Makgeolli and eating steamed pork in the car is what life’s all about because her philosophy is all about enjoying life to the fullest even if it’s doing something small like this.
Haneul’s mom looked at Jungwoo and said, isn’t that right Jungwoo sweety? Jungwoo was a well mannered and polite boy so he kinda went along with Mrs. Kong’s shenanigans. Jungwoo agreed to what Haneul’s mom was saying and just went along for the ride, in a figurative sense.
Haneul’s mom was about to pour Jungwoo a cup of Makgeolli but Haneul was like, mom …stop it…Haneul was obviously embarrassed about the way her mom was acting, I guess she was afraid that Jungwoo would think low of her family like what Bada said earlier. However, Mrs. Kong retorted and said that she is wrong and it’s fun to have a glass of Makgeolli in the car while they are on a road trip.
Jungwoo was smiling and completely going along with Mrs. Kong’s shenanigans. He was like, yes mother, please pour me a glass of the Makgeolli. Jungwoo is so good to Haneul’s mother while she is also good to him too. I love their little future mother in law and son in law relationship.
Haneul’s mom told Jungwoo that it will bring up his mood once he drinks a glass of that Makgeolli and Jungwoo thanked her for it while smiling like a goofy little boy. Then unfortunately an unexpected accident happened. The car was shaking due to the bumpy road and Jungwoo split Makgeolli all over his pants and Taesun was looking for something to help him wipe down the Makgeolli he ended up spilling.
Jungwoo was taken aback but he tried to calm everyone down saying he is alright but Haneul was irritable obviously and she yelled at her mother saying, this is why I told you not to drink in the car! Mom, you shouldn’t be drinking Makgeolli in the car! Yes, Haneul was irritated by her mom’s behavior. But Mrs. Kong didn’t mean no harm, it’s just this silly unexpected accident happened.
Thankfully Bada had an outfit in the back of the trunk that Jungwoo could borrow. He was saying that the girl that he was seeing was into athletic guys so he bought an outfit just for that occasion and it’s been sitting there in the back of the trunk ever since.
Bada asked if Jungwoo was okay with wearing that for now until his clothes dried and the older boy was definitely grateful for that cus it’s so much better than wearing his wet clothes. Jungwoo was asking if Bada used to go to the gym and he automatically assumed that he had a pair of tracksuit or sweats in the back of the car.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a tracksuit or sweats but it was a kendo outfit/uniform. Uncle Taesun was surprised that Bada still held onto it even if he doesn’t learn kendo anymore. Bada kept it around because he thought he might get into it again. It was funny how the people passing by were laughing at him. Haneul was scolding her mother as if she was a little child. Mrs. Kong’s daughter told her not to eat or drink in the car anymore.
Haneul’s mom thought Jungwoo looked really good in the kendo outfit/uniform. Mrs. Kong was saying Jungwoo looked great in the kendo outfit/uniform because he has the good looking body and face to back him up. Then Bada was saying that he looks much better than Jungwoo in that kendo outfit/uniform but he nonchalantly said that Jungwoo doesn’t look half bad in it either. Then Bada ended with a compliment saying that Jungwoo looked like a guy that has been doing Kendo for like 10 years or so….
Jungwoo felt like he would be better off to just put his regular clothes back on. Uncle Taesun thought that was impossible because it’s obviously still wet. Then the uncle said he’ll wash the part that was wet and sun dry it for him and once it’s all dried up he could put it back on again. According to Uncle Taesun, if you sun dry it, it’ll dry up pretty quick.
Haneul felt really bad this happened to him but Jungwoo was cool about it. Jungwoo made Haneul feel better by saying this is something you could look back on and laugh about it. It could be one of those memories that you think about from time to time and laugh about it together. Jungwoo put his arm around Haneul and went back to the car.
Everyone was back in the car and now Jungwoo got to sit where Mrs. Kong was sitting moments earlier. Jungwoo got the window seat where he could look out the window but he still looked awkward and uncomfortable. Mrs. Kong looked so sad though, she meant well, she was just trying her best to cheer up her future son in law….
Uncle Taesun sat in the middle now and Mrs. Kong sat where Uncle Taesun was sitting earlier. The uncle decided to sit in the middle so his sister won’t give Jungwoo a hard time and bully him and he said that he doesn’t think it’s bullying. Bada was wondering why the car wasn’t moving steadily and the uncle thought they would arrive in Busan tomorrow at this rate.
Bada said he did press on the gas but the car is still not going at a faster speed. He thinks that they might need to take the car to the auto shop to get it fixed. Mrs. Kong felt like something was missing so she told Uncle Taesun to do something about it.
Uncle Tae thought maybe they should put some music on and Haneul’s mother was saying music is what makes road trips fun and I completely agree with her sentiment on this one.
Uncle Taesun was pulling out his phone and he was squishing Jungwoo in the process to the point that it made him squeeze his face and squint too. Taesun was gonna play one of his favorite songs that he sings whenever he goes Karaoking. Taesun pulled up a song on his phone called: JJara BaBba by Jeong Gwang Tae.
The song was playing and Uncle Tae was lifting his shoulders up and down because of this catchy tune then his sister followed suit. Uncle Tae and Mrs. Kong were singing along to the song while doing their cute little motions too. Bada was sort of copying his mom and uncle, lifting his shoulders a little bit and bobbing his head left and right but he couldn’t do it heavily because he was the driver.
However, Haneul looked embarrassed and Jungwoo looked uncomfortable but he couldn’t say anything because he is a polite and well mannered boy after all. Jungwoo was trying his best to keep his cool but even he couldn’t help but to move to the beat a little bit. Jungwoo was lightly bobbing his head until he got smacked by Haneul’s uncle with his cell phone nonetheless. Uncle Taesun got him so bad with his phone that Jungwoo reacted with AH!
Everybody was asking Jungwoo if he was okay after he got whacked by Uncle Tae’s cell phone. Uncle Taesun asked if Jungwoo is alright, if he is not hurt and Haneul got really mad by this point saying that Taesun and Mrs. Kong were just bullying her man.
Even though Jungwoo got smacked really hard with Uncle Taesun’s phone, he was telling Haneul that it’s okay, he is not badly hurt or anything so she doesn’t have to worry. Jungwoo told Uncle Taesun that he is okay so he doesn’t have to be too concerned and he didn’t know how to react to that because most people would have complained by now but not Jungwoo cus he is a good guy.
Bada saw the warning for his car so he realized that it was time to take it to the shop. Then we see Jungwoo standing with a lot of dust around him because of the truck that just passed by them but it didn’t matter cus Jungwoo looked so cool. Jungwoo looked like a samurai, a very good looking samurai to boot hehehe. My fangirl friend called him the kendo master while I call him the good looking samurai/swordsman!
Bada realized that the car was going by slowly because there was a nail stuck on one of the tires. While Bada was checking out the tires, Haneul was making a phone call to the nearby auto shop but unfortunately they won’t be able to make it soon, it’ll take them two hours because of traffic.
————————————————————————————————————————-
Meanwhile, Daeyoung was with Hongran and her little boy Jinwoo. Daeyoung brought Hongran and lil Jinwoo over to the Korean Sauna and she was wondering why he brought them there. Daeyoung thought it would be a good idea to bring them there because there’s so much to do like playing ping pong and there’s even a basketball court for children to play in. Daeyoung thought it would be a great place to teach the little boy how to play sports and even take a bath together and have some father and son moments too. Daeyoung was like, isn’t this a perfect place for a little boy like Jinwoo?
Hongran agreed with what Daeyoung was saying and Dae was smiling at Hongran really big like a big kid. Daeyoung bought the little boy a bowl of ice cream too and once he was done he took him to go play.
Daeyoung wanted to give him a horsey ride but Hongran didn’t want to put Daeyoung through that trouble although Jinwoo really wanted one.
The little boy always wanted a horsey ride but nobody was able to do that for the poor little fella.
All of Jinwoo’s grandmothers have some sort of pain in the neck, back and knees so they are not able to give him a piggyback ride and a horsey ride. The little Jinwoo added that even his mom won’t give him a horsey ride because she’s always tired.
Jinwoo was complaining a lot cus obviously there are things that he wants to but can’t cus none of his family members are able to accommodate his needs. Then Jinwoo said something kinda cute and smart. He asked his mom if he is never gonna be able to get one of those rides and he’ll become an adult before he even knows it.
Daeyoung was laughing and pretending to cry at the same time. It was his way of saying, don’t worry, I got it all covered so just leave it to me, I want to be able to give him a ride. All you have to do is buy me a patch to put it on my back if you are that concerned.
Daeyoung gave Jinwoo a horsey ride and took him over to the area where they could play ping pong and Hongran filmed them while the two boys were playing table tennis.
Daeyoung pretended to play badly so he could bring up the child’s spirit and he ended up getting hit by one of Jinwoo’s balls. Daeyoung was pretending that Jinwoo’s ball hit his ear and Hongran was all worried.
Hongran asked in a panicking voice if he was okay but it was all a joke to make Jinwoo laugh. Daeyoung was like ouch ouch, I have a hole in my ear in a sing-song kind of voice. Daeyoung was playing a funny practical joke on Jinwoo to show him a good time but Hongran thought that he was being childish. However, it seemed like Jinwoo was enjoying it though. Jinwoo was able to catch on to Daeyoung’s jokes and they both gave each other a high five for being able to understand each other’s comedic code per se.
Daeyoung was playing a shooting game with Jinwoo at the arcade and Hongran was playing too of course. Dae was helping Jinwoo play and showing him what to do while cheering him on. Hongran was playing by herself and obviously she was struggling and Daeyoung came up behind her and showed her how to play too while holding her hand. Jinwoo was looking at what his mom was doing with Daeyoung and got straight to the point and asked them if they were dating. I think the kid has his it down, he is smarter than the grown ups hehehehe…Then the kid continued on and was more direct by asking Hongran if Daeyoung is her boyfriend.
Hongran denied that Daeyoung was her boyfriend. Dae looked so sad when she said that he isn’t her boyfriend.
—————————————————————————————————————————–
Then we went back to Jungwoo, Haneul and Haneul’s family. The car was all fixed and they were ready to be on the road again but Haneul thought they should go shopping for a new pair of clothes for Jungwoo since there is an outlet mall nearby. Uncle Taesun said they have to do it quickly because they have to go visit her dad before the sun goes down.
Jungwoo was surprised that they were gonna visit Haneul’s father and Haneul told him that this was his favorite time of the year so they went to visit her father around this time. They went to visit their father around this time of the year and while they were at it they went for a nice walk, ate some good food and also went to the beach too. Haneul’s mom added that they don’t just have a good time while they are in Busan but they also talk about the good memories they had together when he was alive.
Haneul’s mom was glad that the sun didn’t go down yet. Uncle Taesun was saying that they should quickly greet Haneul’s father then leave. Jungwoo told them that he will stay further away from Mr. Nam’s grave because he didn’t want to be in the way. Haneul’s mom said he won’t be a bother so if he really wants to then he should come along but Bada was saying that Jungwoo might not be okay to go up there and meet Haneul’s father. Bada thought it could be quite burdensome for Jungwoo to go up there and meet Haneul’s dad since he thinks that Jungwoo isn’t sure if he is gonna marry his sister or not.
Jungwoo was stuttering because he felt out of place and he wasn’t sure if he deserved to be there. Haneul felt bad that she didn’t tell Jungwoo ahead of time that they’re gonna be visiting Mr. Nam. Jungwoo told Haneul that she doesn’t have to feel bad about not telling him ahead of time and they should just go on up already.
Haneul hasn’t visited her father in a while and she says that he might be shocked because she decided to visit him unexpectedly. Bada sarcastically said that he might be shocked not because it’s been a while but it’s because she really has gotten old over the years. Then Mrs. Kong said Mr. Nam would be more shocked about Bada still being unemployed and Haneul agreed with her mom. Bada was defending himself saying he’s been working really hard to make Busan’s famous wheat noodles. Uncle Taseun backed his nephew up by saying Bada really has been working on trying to learn noodle making skills.
Bada promised himself that he will be working hard like other young people his age once his sister wakes up and lives to the fullest day by day. Bada prayed earnestly to God and he thinks that God did answer his prayers after all. Bada feels thankful to the God he prayed to and his prayers were answered because his sister is alive and well now. Bada said he wants to go to Greece and bow down to God and thank him for answering his prayers.
Haneul was confused and asked Bada why Greece, then Bada said, I want to go Greece because of Jesus. Then Bada said the stupidest thing ever, he said Jesus Christ, he is Greek.I loved everyone’s reaction, they looked so out of it after hearing what Bada said. I am pretty sure Park Shin Hye was laughing during this scene because she is a Christian and she’s been a Christian her whole life. As a matter of fact Park Shinhye’s family had been a Christian for five generations so I’m sure she cracked up to what Bada was telling his family.
Bada was like, am I wrong? I wanted to go through my computer screen and tell him the right answer. Mrs. Kong said he should just go to Greece if he is gonna be that dumb. Haneul agreed with her mom saying that his brother should just go to Greece already.
Uncle Taesun was like give the guy a break, he doesn’t have to know everything and Bada was like, you are such a friendly, sweet and positive man. Uncle Taesun and Bada gave each other a hug and Mr. Kong asked when they were going to leave for Greece. Jungwoo felt so out of place and he looked like he was losing his patience already.

Haneul’s mother took the whole family and Jungwoo to an outdoor restaurant in the neighborhood in Busan and it seemed like Mrs. Kong knew the shop owner. The Shop owner gave them so much food that it made Mrs. Kong feel bad because she wouldn’t be able to make a profit off them for giving them so much food.
Haneul said the outdoor restaurant hasn’t changed one bit and Jungwoo was curious if they came here a lot when they were still living in Busan. Haneul’s father used to come to this restaurant a lot because he really loved going over there just to have a bottle of Soju. Back then Haneul was too young to drink. She just sat there drinking her soda while studying for her math exams according to Bada.
Uncle Taesun was talking about the good ole days when he used to look for his brother in law because he had a bit to drink then disappeared but he ended up lying on the sand at the beach. Mrs. Kong was saying how sand used to come out of Mr. Nam’s ears because he was laying on the sand for too long. Haneul’s mother confessed to everyone that she was complaining to her dead husband in heaven a lot lately because he is not protecting his kids from harm.
Haneul’s mother might have complained to her dead husband up in heaven but she was still happy that she was able to see him though since it’s been a while. Mrs. Kong thought that it would have been nice if Jungwoo got to meet him too.
Jungwoo agreed with Haneul’s mother about what she just said and he said he was a little surprised that they looked happier and he thought that it wasn’t supposed to be that way. Jungwoo didn’t know any better because he has never sent anybody away except for Kyungmin maybe….
Jungwoo thought that everyone would look sad because they miss him so much but he didn’t know that people could look joyful at someone’s grave but he didn’t know any better since he never had to go to anybody’s grave before cus he’s never lost a loved one yet and probably the closest person to that was Kyungmin unfortunately. Jungwoo thought that it wasn’t his place to be up there with them because he thought it was gonna be more serious and solemn but he realized that they weren’t like that at all.
Haneul’s mom said there are different kinds of missing people then she continued on by saying it’s been some time since Mr. Nam left them so it all has become a memory so that’s why they don’t necessarily have to be sad anymore cus they learned to deal with it.
Mrs. Kong was saying that they might still miss Haneul’s father but they are in the stage where they could be happy about it or rather content about it. Haneul and her mom were smiling then Jungwoo and Hanuel were smiling too.

Meanwhile, at Hongran’s apartment, Daeyoung was there fixing Jinwoo’s playground. Jinwoo fell asleep almost immediately according to Hongran because he was tired from all that playing with Mr. Daeyoung. Hongran felt bad that she made Daeyoung come all the way over to her apartment just cus Jinwoo wanted to play some more. However, Daeyoung didn’t mind cus he thought it would be good to go all out while they are at it.
Hongran gave back the chance stickers because she used it all up already. Daeyoung taught Jinwoo how to ride a bike and he even took him to a public bathhouse too. Hongran didn’t have any more chance cards/chance stickers yet. The two looked romantically awkward as if they were gonna kiss or something and Daeyoung broke the silence by saying that he is gonna be heading back now.
Then Hongran used her leftover tea bags as an excuse to make him stay a little while longer and Daeyoung agreed with her by saying that she shouldn’t be wasting the good tea bags like that and she should use those tea bags at every opportunity. Daeyoung told Hongran that he’ll help her get rid of those tea bags as soon as possible.
Jungwoo got a text from his mom saying that they are gonna be heading back to the States soon.
Obviously Mrs. Kong was drunk so she wasn’t able to balance herself properly when she was walking and Jungwoo caught her and asked her if she was okay. Haneul’s mom said she is fine and she is not drunk.
Haneul’s mom cutely asked Jungwoo if she wanted to go get ice cream with her and then they were sitting on one of the benches and eating ice cream together as if they were on a date or something.
Mrs. Kong was just staring into the sky, a bit spaced out while eating her ice cream like a young teenager and then suddenly she looked like she was about to cry. Jungwoo asked Mrs. Kong if she used to eat ice cream with Mr. Nam after they drank a bit. I loved Jungwoo’s delivery there, it was the way he asked her with the tone of voice saying, I know what you’re thinking mother kinda talk.
Haneul’s mother was amazed that Jungwoo knew about how she used to eat ice cream with her hubby after drinking. Then Jungwoo said he just was able to get that feeling that they did something like that when Haneul’s father was alive. Haneul’s mom patted Jungwoo on the head and said he is so smart. I really get the mother and son vibe here. Mrs. Kong felt bad that Jungwoo tagged along and went through so many different kinds of shenanigans instead of having fun.
Jungwoo felt bad that he was intruding on their little family trip so he should be the one to be sorry although Haneul’s mom begged to differ because it’s not really a big deal anyway. Haneul’s mom repeated what she said earlier letting Jungwoo know that all the sadness disappeared already and all she could think about are happy thoughts only. Mrs. Kong said everything is okay now except missing him from time to time.
Then Jungwoo asked Haneul’s mother how long it takes for it to become numb after you lose someone. Then Jungwoo confessed that he is not as strong as he could be because he is still struggling right now. Mrs. Kong pretty much said what Haneul said before, even though she thinks that he should just forget about someone like Kyungmin and move on.
Jungwoo expressed that he has a hard time forgetting about Kyungmin because all he’s able to think of are mostly good memories. Kyungmin did a lot of good things for Jungwoo while he was still alive and these are the only memories that he’s able to think of and this goes to show that he relied on someone like Kyungmin a lot because his parents weren’t around to fill that void. But I’m surprised that Jungwoo turned out to be a good man despite how there weren’t good role models around him to fill that void.
Haneul’s mom looked at Jungwoo with pitiful eyes, I guess she’s able to feel empathetic for him. Jungwoo couldn’t help but to think about the time when Kyungmin came to his graduation. It’s sad how Kyungmin was the only person that came to his graduation. His parents might be well known professionals but they couldn’t even make it out to an event like his graduation? That’s pure awful. Even if they can’t be around often, at least show up to your one and only son’s graduation for crying out loud!
It may look like Jungwoo had it all like the good looks, good personality, good grades, and popularity with the girls but he didn’t have one thing, the emotional support of his parents. Jungwoo certainly wasn’t his parent’s priority and his graduation wasn’t an exception either. All of his fellow schoolmates had people around him and they were all graduating with the support of their family but not Jungwoo.
Kyungmin must have been busy but he was nice enough to run over to Jungwoo and congratulated him and I could see why he was so happy to finally have someone there with him on such a special day. I felt bad for Jungwoo, sighing and feeling lonely while everyone around them were surrounded by their loved ones.
Kyungmin gave Jungwoo a bag and he handed it to him and Jungwoo knew that it was the black suit that he promised him. Jungwoo was so happy that he jumped on Kyungmin and gave him a huge hug. Jungwoo looked like the happiest little boy ever and he thanked him for the best gift he received on his graduation day. For someone from a well off family, Jungwoo seems to be happy about the smallest things and I think I could understand his sentiment because he has a hard time getting the things that money can’t buy.
Kyungmin asked Jungwoo if he was that happy about receiving this black suit and of course he was the happiest boy in the world right now because it’s something he wanted as a graduation present and it was from someone that he thought of as a brother. Kyungmin congratulated our dear graduate Yeo Jungwoo on this special day called Graduation day. Jungwoo asked Kyungmin to take him out for a plate of Korean spicy rice cake and he asked if he’s paying and the older boy said he is certainly buying, it’s his treat to Jungwoo since it’s his graduation day and all.
Jungwoo didn’t realize that Kyungmin’s father passed away a few days before his graduation day out of all days. Jungwoo couldn’t help but to wonder how he felt when he bought him that pair of black suit he promised even if his father died a few days prior to his graduation. Most people would have skipped out on buying the suit and not even make it to the graduation but Kyungmin was nice enough to show up to his graduation and even managed to buy him a suit like he promised when he really didn’t need to since part of the reason why his father passed away was because Jungwoo’s mother couldn’t even spare two hours for him to go out and pick up his father.
Jungwoo showed up to Kyungmin’s funeral and he looked so sad and he had tears in his eyes but he wasn’t actually crying just yet. Jungwoo opened up to Haneul’s mother saying that he is struggling right now and of course he looked like he was gonna start sobbing any minute now.
Jungwoo wanted to forgive Kyungmin but then he couldn’t help but to change his mind. Now he doesn’t want to but what makes it worse is he has nobody to blame. Jungwoo feels miserable that he can’t even understand because he doesn’t have the emotional capacity to do so. Jungwoo was sobbing and expressing his helpless feelings of not knowing what to do. Haneul’s mother felt bad cus there was nothing she was able to do to help this poor boy. Mrs. Kong was saying what she should do to help this poor boy.
Mrs. Kong was concerned that this emotionally weak young man won’t be able to pull through this struggle that he is going through right now. Then Haneul’s dear mother came up with a way to comfort him, she used helpful words to help him out. Mrs. Kong told Jungwoo that there’s a saying that goes like this: You forgive someone not for their sake but for your own.
Haneul’s mom was saying that it is difficult to hate someone because it takes so much energy out of you. She was saying there will be times when you feel miserable, feel like you are in pain, and even angry but using your energy on those emotions is just wasteful because they make you struggle and be in pain more. However, Haneul’s mother realized that it would be cruel to say that he should forgive Kyungmin for what he did. Mrs. Kong told Jungwoo that he shouldn’t try to force himself to forget about it. And gradually all the difficult and painful things should just naturally go away one day.
Haneul’s mother told Jungwoo to just let it be until he is ready and one day it’ll get numb naturally on its own with him trying too hard. Mr;s Kong comforted him while patting him on the back saying that everything will be fine in the end. Haneul’s mother then acknowledged that he must be going through a lot right now and Haneul saw her own mother comforting her man from afar.
The Busan night scenery is so beautiful because there’s pretty Busan beach and the sparkling Busan bridge with colorful lights with people everywhere, it almost looks as if there’s a festival going on or something.
Haneul’s uncle was sitting alone at the table and his niece’s phone was going off and it got his attention. Haneul went to look for Jungwoo and her mom and obviously she saw them together. Uncle Taesun asked him if she found her mom and Jungwoo and she said it looked like they were getting some fresh air somewhere nearby. Haneul told her uncle they needed some time alone so she just let them be.
Uncle Tae was jokingly asking his niece if she just got dumped and she was like why would he do that? Then her uncle was like maybe it’s because they are a bunch of trouble makers then Haneul agreed with her uncle about the fact that her family could be troublemakers at times.
Uncle Tae was saying that their mini road trip had a few hiccups but it turned out alright then he moved on to telling her niece about the text messages she received while she was away. Uncle Taesun made it seem like it was Hongran that texted her. Hongran texted Haneul to remind her that she shouldn’t refuse the assistant professor offer. Haneul was asking her uncle why he looked at her phone and he said it couldn’t be helped because her phone was vibrating to the point where the tables were shaking so he had to.
Haneul’s uncle saw it on the news so now he knows that all the guys that were involved in that crime relating to Kyungmin were all fired. Haneul still seems unsure about taking that offer working at her old hospital. Haneul feels hesitant to take the offer because all the drama happened because of her although she didn’t do anything wrong.
Haneul’s uncle opened up to Haneul after all these years, he told her that he had no idea that she was an anesthesia professional. Uncle Taesun was just used to just seeing those surgeons with their tools on those dramas so he thought she was one of those kinds of doctors. Haneul’s uncle said it was so unexpected and she had no idea that her uncle was so surprised about her being an anesthesia doctor.
Apparently, Haneul told her uncle a long time ago why she wanted to become an anesthesia doctor although she completely forgot the reason why she wanted to be that. Haneul’s dad was fighting some disease for eight years and during the last surgery she was outside of the surgery room looking all antsy, that’s when some random doctor came and said not to worry because she/he will try his/her best with the surgery but before that she/ he is going to help him get a deep sleep while he is dreaming about something happy.
Then Haneul remembered that day when that surgeon said that to her. Haneul told her uncle that she did not like sending her father to the surgery room by himself to be operated on and she was always worried that her father would be in pain during the surgery.
That’s when the anesthesia doctor came and told her what she just told her uncle. So to Haneul the death of her father was something else and it obviously caused her a lot of pain which is so touching to watch. But Uncle Tae thought that the anesthesia doctor for Haneul would be the perfect match for her and she agreed to that. Haneul wanted to become that person that makes the patient feel secure and safe after seeing what her father went through. Haneul thought about the times when she used to use anesthesia on the patients and she said to them: You will have a nice dream while you are asleep and when you wake up everything will be fine.
Haneul knew that pain is the most painful part for a human so you would insert the strongest pain reliever which lessens the pain and this is what was attractive to Haneul about this job. The anesthesia professionals are important because they look after the patients before the surgery begins to make them feel at ease and also make them feel safe during the surgery then also they take care of the patients post surgery too.
It’s hard to think that the situation could be hard when people that are bleeding come in due to a horrible accident. You end up being grateful towards them for enduring the whole process.
Haneul also liked other parts of the job which encouraged them behind the scenes. As Haneul was talking about what she liked about the job, she looked like she was gonna cry and the uncle was telling her that maybe it’s time for her to go back to what she loves to do. Uncle Taesun encouraged Haneul to go and do what she loves before it’s too late. Haneul was teary eyed and a bit moved. She was taking a sip of her drink then Bada came back. Bada looked on both sides and he saw Haneul chit chatting with his uncle and his mom was chit chatting with Jungwoo. Bada had no idea what was going on. Bada didn’t want them to talk about something that’s too serious because he was itching to play already.
Jungwoo and Haneul were romantically looking at the Busan ocean. The ocean was beautiful, the night sky was beautiful, the brightly lit bridge was beautiful and also the fireworks were amazing. Jungwoo was so glad that he tagged along and Haneul was like, you are really glad you came along when you went through all that because of my mom and uncle!?
Jungwoo thought it was nothing that he went through and Haneul smiled at him and they were laughing together looking all happy. Haneul had something to confess, there was something that she needed to share and it was about Jungwoo’s parents. Haneul told Jungwoo that she knew about Jungwoo’s parents being in Seoul and this surprised Jungwoo, he was wondering how she knew about it.
Haneul told Jungwoo that she overheard him talking to his parents in the morning before heading out. Jungwoo’s dear girlfriend knew why he didn’t want to be in Seoul and she also knew it was because he wasn’t ready to meet with his parents just yet. Jungwoo was having a hard time accepting the fact that his parents hurt someone so deeply like that.
Jungwoo wasn’t sure if he should feel resentment towards his parents that pushed someone over the edge like that or if he should hate the one that did something he shouldn’t have done.
Jungwoo feels so torn right now between his parents and Kyungmin. But even then Jungwoo feels like it’s not as complicated as he thought originally. Jungwoo decided to just be honest with his feelings and just let it be like what Haneul’s mother told him earlier. He will be true to his emotions. If he feels hate then he’ll just feel it and if he is able to understand then he’ll understand and he just wants to take the direct but simple route. I’m glad Jungwoo took Haneul’s mom’s advice to heart.
Jungwoo said if he just takes it gradually and lets him heal naturally then one day he would be able to be more calm about the situation. Haneul was smiling at Jungwoo while they were looking at the picturesque scene of Busan landscape.
Jungwoo was wondering if Haneul had some other things to reveal. Jungwoo felt like she was still hiding something from him because she’s been looking like she had a lot going on in her head in the last few days.
Haneul opened up and told Jungwoo that she got an offer to be the assistant professor at the old hospital that she used to work at. Jungwoo was so excited to hear the good news and he asked her why she didn’t tell him this earlier. Haneul couldn’t tell him because he was dealing with his problems so she didn’t want to burden him. Jungwoo couldn’t believe that Haneul was thinking that way because he was willing to hear her out no matter what, even if he is going through his own struggles right now.
Haneul also didn’t want to share the good news with her boyfriend because she felt like it wouldn’t be fair to him telling him about the good news of getting that offer while he is suffering because of what happened. Haneul knew that it was more personal to him since he did think of him like a big brother he never had.
Haneul felt guilty for being happy about this while her loverboy was suffering but Jungwoo thought otherwise. Jungwoo felt that it was just the fruits of her hard work so she deserved that opportunity. Jungwoo didn’t want Haneul to think of it that way and he congratulated his girlfriend while showing her his goofy smile. Jungwoo told Haneul that he wants to see her stand tall and show what she is made of by taking this offer.
Jungwoo and Haneul smiled at each other and nodded together. Haneul was teary eyed because she felt like Jungwoo was being a supportive boyfriend while Jungwoo was genuinely happy for his girl.
Then Jungwoo grabbed Haneul and hugged her like the romantic guy he is. Jungwoo said congratulations to Haneul again while he was hugging her and Haneul thanked him for his support. Jungwoo started patting Haneul on the head and told her how proud he is of her. Haneil was so happy that she kept on smiling, she was smiling so big that her lips were all the way up to her ears. Jungwoo was like, what’s happening here? OMG, Nam Haneul, you are the best! Then Jungwoo was touching her face and it looked like he was wiping her happy tears down for her.
The night scenery of Busan was beautiful. Jungwoo and Haneul looked up at the brightly lit night sky and there were super colorful fireworks to greet them too. Both Jungwoo and Haneul thought the fireworks were so pretty. Haneul’s narration started again and she said that the fireworks of that night remained in her heart even if the actual fireworks disappeared so fast. Then it appeared again, shined then split.
Haneul was so mesmerized and so was Jungwoo. Haneul was saying that the fireworks were sparkling and twinkling so much and they were so beautiful indeed. They both realized that one day everything will disappear and the only thing that does remain are memories. So it would be better to just forget about the things you want to forget about and keep the memories that you want to remember forever and ever, just like the fireworks of that glorious night.
Daeyoung and crew were all at that one Korean BBQ place that he took Jungwoo out at that one time. The reason why they were all there was because it was a going away party for Haneul since she’ll start working at the university hospital that she used to work at very soon as the assistant professor.
Daeyoung was saying that Haneul is leaving already when she barely started working for him but then even he was happy for her. Daeyoung was smiling, Haneul was smiling and Jungwoo was smiling too. Daeyoung congratulated Haneul and she felt bad that she had to go away so soon when she just barely started working there. Jungwoo said it’s no big deal because she was only planning to work there temporarily anyway. Nurse. Do was being supportive too and she was telling her to get to where she wants to go and also get all kinds of promotion since she deserves that much. Nurse Do called her professor instead of Dr. Nam. Even Daeyoung addressed Haneul as professor now and to me it’s so weird cus I’m just used to hearing Dr. Nam when she is at a professional setting not a professor. Daeyoung told Haneul to eat to her heart’s content.
Daeyoung was telling everybody that the Korean BBQ place they are eating at is really good and the reason why he knows about it was because he brought Jungwoo over there one time. Daeyoung made reservations to this place because he felt like their meat was really good at this particular place. Haneul thanked Director Bin for inviting her to such a place.
Jungwoo was talking about how the restaurant is packed and he wished that their clinic could be just as busy as this place. Daeyoung was saying that he shouldn’t be talking about stuff like that when they are trying to enjoy the food.
Haneul was telling Jungwoo that she is gonna be out for a bit because Hongran wanted to see her. Hongran brought her a cake because she knows that the people threw a farewell party for her. Daeyoung seemed happy to hear that name but he couldn’t really say anything about it though because he is kind of seeing Hongran secretly too.
Haneul was telling her current co-workers that she is gonna be stepping out to meet with a friend. Her name is Hongran and she works as a gynecologist next door. Then Nurse. Do said she knows of Dr. Lee Hongran. Nurse Do knows of her because Hongran is quite close to the nurses at the clinic. Then one of the other employees mentioned that she’s heard about Hongran and she happens to be Haneul’s best friend and she should invite her over to eat with them too.
Haneul felt embarrassed to go that far so she said she’ll just get the cake from her and come right back. Daeyoung decided to intervene and said that since she’s already here it would be impolite to just make her leave right after getting the cake from her. Jungwoo started to give Daeyoung weird looks as if he is onto something. Daeyoung was trying to look for the right word and he came up with the word inhumane. He thought it was inhumane to not invite her over to eat with them when she is already here.
Then Jungwoo gave Daeyoung that weird look again as if he knows what’s going on. Jungwoo caught on and he told Haneul to invite her over to eat with them and Haneul was like, I don’t think she is gonna come because she would feel too awkward for that. But Hongran was acting completely the opposite from what she was telling the people there. Hongran introduced herself then she said, is it okay for me to be a part of this and Haneul’s like you don’t need to ask because you already invited yourself here anyway.
Everyone welcomed her while Daeyoung and Hongran were looking at each other like shy teenagers in love. Jungwoo was laughing because he knew what was going on. Jungwoo put some meat on Haneul’s plate that he took off the grill. Jungwoo is such a romantic guy that he had to do such a thing like that. Jungwoo said, eat this Haneul dear and she said thanks sweetly.
Hongran was saying that Dr. Yeo is being so romantic and because of his behavior people would misunderstand them as a couple. Hongran is too late in the game saying this because all the employees who work for Dae know this, it’s no longer a secret anymore.
Hongran was like Dr. Yeo is such a sweet guy that he serves meat for just anybody then she was like, give me some meat too. Hongran is kinda slow, I can’t help but to laugh right now because she is the only one that doesn’t seem to know that everybody there knows about Jungwoo and Haneul.
Director Woo was smiling and told Hongran she doesn’t have to act anymore because they all know about Jungwoo and Haneul’s relationship already. Hongran was like really? She couldn’t believe it because Jungwoo and Haneul were supposed to be dating in secret and not out in the open like that.
Haneul thought that they were dating in secret too but they caught on so fast though and one of the other employees mentioned how surprised she was because she’s never seen people date at work. Then some other lady said maybe there might be another hidden couple that they haven’t discovered yet then the promotional director was like could it be that Director B and Nurse Do might be an item. The promotional director feels a little suspicious about Daeyoung and Nurse Do.
Hongran looked at Daeyoung as if she was disappointed and then Daeyoung looked at her knowing that she is a bit miffed by this so he had to say something to cover his ass so he won’t lose brownie points from her.
Daeyoung was trying to explain that Nurse Do is like a sister to him and nothing more. Daeyoung was coming up with examples of why she is just like a sister to him but she wasn’t helping him at all. Then Daeyoung said they are the type of people that wouldn’t ever fall in love even if they dropped them off at an inhabitable island somewhere. Daeyoung was like, am I right? Then he looked at Nurse Do hoping she’ll say that right answer so he won’t end up making Hongran upset.
Nurse Do took her sweet time and answered and she was like if we are left on some inhabitable island and if we are the only ones we might fall in love. That’s not the answer Daeyoung was looking for. Hongran looked upset even if she was trying not to show it while Haneul and Jungwoo were like wow….
Daeyoung was blaming Nurse Do for being a little too playful and he was trying to distract the people by saying the meat is burning.
Daeyoung wasn’t able to concentrate properly so he put the raw meat on Haneul’s plate and someone was saying that Dae must have something going on with Nurse Do after all since he is acting all flustered all of a sudden.
Jungwoo lifted his hands up saying, I can’t help you there bro. Hongran said they do look good together and the atmosphere got even more awkward to the point where Jungwoo was doing a weird ritual ceremony with his drink.
Hongran was definitely miffed and upset so she just walked out of the restaurant and Daeyoung followed her out. Daeyoung told Hongran that his employees are a bunch of pranksters. Daeyoung explained to her again that Nurse Do is like a sister to him and nothing more. However, Hongran begged to differ because in her mind his co-workers were saying that because he gave him hints that made them think that way.
Hongran had to mention that he did look kinda good with Nurse. Do oddly enough. Hongran then used that one time as an excuse, she said saw him with Nurse Do one time at the rooftop looking like a couple.
Daeyoung was like, so are you saying that you’ve been checking me out since then? Hongran was in defensive mode though. Hongran was telling Daeyoung that she is not a CCTV so she didn’t like spyon him or anything, her tone of voice sounded like an irritable person or someone like a girlfriend.
Daeyoung adds to the most important ingredient that makes her different from anybody else because she is the one that he takes time to go see. Daeyoung doesn’t do that for anybody else but her.
Daeyoung said Hongran is the only person that he wants to get to know better, curious about her and also she is the only person that he is concerned about. Daeyoung was a hopeless romantic like Jungwoo. He said he doesn’t feel uncomfortable sharing an umbrella with her but he just wishes that the rain won’t stop so they could be stuck together. Hongran is the only person that he thinks about that way so everything that they were saying over there are nothing but misunderstandings.
Daeyoung returned all the chance cards because he felt like those were unnecessary because he was willing to do anything and everything for her without the chance stickers. Dae didn’t want to meet Hongran for just being acquaintances that occasionally help each other so obviously he thinks of her more than a friend so now it’s just up to her to decide.
Daeyoung mentioned how he was disappointed when Hongran told Jinwoo that he isn’t her boyfriend. Daeyoung wanted to understand her situation by saying that at the time it would be hard to say what he is in front of her child but now they are alone so he wanted to get straight to the point about their relationship.
Daeyoung got straight to the point and asked Hongran if he is still not her boyfriend but it seemed like she was still having a hard time saying what’s really on her mind. Daeyoung was trying to say something important to Hongran then there is, Nurse Do!
Nurse Do was running over to Daeyoung saying that he forgot something that looked like a wallet and it probably was then unfortunately, Do tripped over and fell on Daeyoung then she accidentally kissed him on the cheeks. Daeyoung got her off of him and then all three of them looked so awkward about the stupid situation.
The main couple was back home eating ice cream and they were talking about Nurse Do and Bin Daeyoung. Jungwoo was saying that Nurse Do really meant what she said earlier. Jungwoo was saying that this is the most uncurious couple ever, meaning he doesn’t want to know too much about those two.
Haneul is curious about it and she has to be because Hongran already told her that she is interested in him. Haneul was like I wonder who will win him over.
Jungwoo was like tomorrow is your first day at your new job, aren’t you tired even after you went to a company dinner tonight?
Haneul was nervous/anxious but she was excited at the same time. Haneul couldn’t help but to look forward to the new opportunity as the new assistant professor at the university hospital.
Jungwoo was telling Haneul to give her feelings of nervousness/anxiety and fear but she could take her excitement with her. Haneul agreed to what Jungwoo was saying while smiling like she usually does. But Jungwoo couldn’t help but to be sad because the small happiness of them getting off work and walking home while eating ice cream would be over as of tonight. Jungwoo looked like a little child with him pouting and all.
Jungwoo knew that they won’t be able to see each other much cus Haneul will most likely be working her butt off and because of that she won’t be able to call him that much and what would lead to the most important thing, they won’t be able to see each other much either after this.
Then he went on to say that he will be missing her so much that he’ll end up getting love sick because of her. Haneul thought it was funny that Jungwoo was acting like this pouting and acting like a little child. Haneul reassured her boyfriend that she is not gonna be that working stiff that she used to be so he won’t have to worry about that.
Haneul said she will be working hard but she will still take care of herself and she’ll make sure that she takes good care of him too. Jungwoo was like, are you foreal? You better keep your promise, Nam Haneul….Haneul agreed and Jungwoo was happy with her answer. The two were all lovey dovey with each other like usual and as Jungwoo was getting another scoop of ice cream Haneul got a text from her mother saying that she should come downstairs and get to sleep already since she is gonna be starting her new job tomorrow.
Jungwoo said the background pic of her phone was cool looking and he liked the picture and Haneul was so embarrassed that she was trying to take her phone back from him.
Jungwoo and Haneul were playing like little kids. Haneul was trying to get her phone back but Jungwoo didn’t let that happen. He climbed up to his bed and started laughing while Haneul was still down there.
Haneul was like, give me my phone back then Jungwoo was like don’t come closer, it’ll be dangerous and he was doing that weird martial arts move but in a comedic way. I love Yeo Jungwoo!
Haneul was getting ready to go to hernew job and she wanted to look perfect so she put some makeup on and she was looking for a nice pair of clothes to wear as well. Haneul put on a pair of semi formal black suit with a white blouse underneath and Bada was being sarcastic saying, Noona, you are a professor now so you are all suited and booted huh?
Mrs. Kong told her to be safe on her way to her new job and she called her Professor Nam. Mrs. Kong and Bada were treating her like a queen opening the door for her and what not and Haneul told them to delete the photo of her and the background photo on her phone.
Haneul was so excited that she was practically running to work and her shoe accidentally slipped out of her foot and her uncle made sure that she got it and he was like it’s business as usual, she’s at it again. Uncle Taesun was being sarcastic about it but in a more positive light. He was truly happy for his niece just like her whole family and her boyfriend are happy for her too.
Haneul finally was at her own office, she is a big shot now with her own office and everything. She was organizing her shelves and putting all the books neatly on there and she took a good look at her doctor’s robe and she looked like she was deep in thought. I’m guessing she still has a lot going on in her mind even though she has a positive new start for her.
Jungwoo was narrating that Haneul found her place in the world again and I totally love Jungwoo’s narrating voice more like Hyungsik’s narrating voice.
Haneul came to see her new patient and it was a little girl, a child. Haneul came to introduce herself to the kid saying, Hi Sammi this is Dr. Nam. The little girl greeted Haneul and she complimented the little girl saying that she is a very cheerful little girl.
Then Haneul asked Sammie what kindergarten she goes to and she answered that she goes to Haenim Kindergarten which means Sunshine Kindergarten in Korean.
Haneul complimented her by saying that the name of her kindergarten is really pretty. Haneul also asked her if she tried running while attending this kindergarten and she nodded saying yes and Haneul asked her if she would be able to breath really big as if she is running like that.
The little girl nodded and said that she is able to and Haneul asked if she is willing to go inside and practice breathing really big and Sammie nodded yes once again. Haneul reassured her saying everything will be okay and she won’t have to be afraid because she’ll be right by her side. Haneul patted the little girl on the head and encouraged her saying that she’s a pretty little girl.
Professor Nam was lecturing about a shock case that happened after using anesthesia. There were so many medical jargons that just sounded likr gibberish to me. This always happens when I’m watching Kdramas that have some kind of medical or legal background.
Jungwoo’s narrating continued while Professor Nam was lecturing the students about the aftermath of anesthesia and shock cases that have occurred over the years due to the usage of it.
Jungwoo’s narration was saying that he prayed that Haneul’s path will be nothing but up from this point because she lost so much over the years because of people like Kyungmin and Professor Kim. Jungwoo claims that he is the one that prayed for Haneul’s success from here on out more than anybody else around here.
Jungwoo was helping out at Uncle Taesun’s noodle shop. He was helping with making the dumplings. Haneul’s uncle was complimenting Jungwoo’s work of art with the dumplings. He was saying that Jungwoo is skilled with his hands so he is able to make the dumplings look really pretty too. Bada added by saying that Jungwoo became an expert making the dumplings since this is what he’s been doing lately while waiting for Haneul to come back home from work.
Jungwoo was so happy that he wanted to tell the uncle and bro that Haneul is coming home early today so he won’t have to wait as much. Haneul’s uncle seemed genuinely happy for him and Jungwoo was smiling thinking that she is gonna come home early and visit him. Uncle Taesun was like, you are such a lucky bastard hehehe…
While Jungwoo was happily helping with making the dumplings he got a call from Haneul. He was super happy at first because he thought she got off already but his facial expression changed dramatically. Haneul called to let him know that she’s gonna be home late because she has to deal with an ER patient.
Jungwoo looked so down and disappointed because he was so ready to see her and he was able to wait for her joyfully too. Even though Jungwoo was disappointed he tried his best to be positive while he was on the phone with her and that’s why he said, cheer up babe…
Jungwoo was obviously upset and both the uncle and the bro knew that something was wrong with him. Jungwoo started to slam down the dumpling dough on the table as if he is the most angry person in the whole wide world. Jungwoo seemed so angry or rather frustrated that he was using the rolling pin to go crazy with it trying to flatten the dough and Bada was like, what’s up with angry dumpling making? Uncle Taesun was like, what did the dumpling dough do to you? The dumpling dough didn’t do anything wrong….
Jungwoo was angrily flattening the dough but he kept on denying the fact that he wasn’t okay, he was like, don’t worry, I’m fine in his typical sweet voice.
Jungwoo was so pooped out by the time he got to his apartment. Jungwoo went straight for his bed and said that it makes him even more sad that he waited and waited for her but he didn’t get to see her at all. Jungwoo was being a big baby and he was like, you said you’ll take good care of me but you didn’t keep your promise like you said you would.
Jungwoo had flour all over him, he was looking sad, pooped out and everything so he looked like a poor little puppy that needed a lot of love.
Jungwoo was trying to justify his behavior saying that it’s not so bad because he is not being too clingy and has nothing better to do. He wants to make it seem as if he is doing his work while waiting for her at the same time. Jungwoo was convinced that this would make him less sad and disappointed.
Then Jungwoo washed up, changed into some nice comfy home clothes and went over to his desk trying to do some work. Obviously Jungwoo wasn’t able to concentrate on his so-called work. Jungwoo had a hard time not looking at his phone. Jungwoo was trying his best to focus on his work but he kept on looking at his phone to see if Haneul messaged him. Jungwoo was almost losing his mind at this point and he was sharpening his pencils when this was so unnecessary for him to do in the middle of the night. That wasn’t enough, Jungwoo decided to clean the fridge while he was at it … .My goodness, who does this? Who cleans the fridge so late at night?
Jungwoo drew a giant heart on the window before falling asleep, poor guy, he’s been waiting all night and couldn’t see his dear Haneul. Jungwoo was so obsessed with Haneul that he looked at his phone the moment he opened his eyes too. Haneul was briefly home but he didn’t get to see Jungwoo. As soon as Haneul got out of the taxi she looked up at the sky and Jungwoo’s rooftop apartment while sighing.
Jungwoo woke up in the morning and as soon as he opened his eyes he came out and then he discovered a white plastic bag full of goodies with a heart shaped note on it.
The note said: Jungwoo, I wanted to have a morning coffee with you but I can’t because I have a meeting. I am pretty sure you are tired so eat this and I miss you.
Then Jungwoo was like me too and he just took the bag right off the laundry strings. Jungwoo was wondering what time Haneul came by because he didn’t fall asleep till 3:00am.
Even if Jungwoo couldn’t see her, he was still happy to receive the goodies bag from his lady love. One of the things he received was a small box of coffee candy. I thought the way Jungwoo was opening it was funny, it almost felt like a small child opening Christmas gifts. Jungwoo was happy a few moments ago but after he put that coffee candy in his mouth, he started looking sad again. Jungwoo was making faces and going, Oh Haneul…..
It’s understandable that Jungwoo could be a bit on the clingy side, maybe there’s a deep seeded abandonment issue going on since his parents were never around growing up.
Jungwoo’s phone was going off and he was so excited because he thought it could be his Haneul but unfortunately it wasn’t.
Jungwoo was at work drinking his actual morning coffee but in Director Bin’s office. Jungwoo was asking Daeyoung why he was breathing so deeply/sighing like that. Jungwoo was asking if he was concerned about something and then he went on saying that Daeyoung’s facial expression looked like he wanted to be asked that question. Then Jungwoo goes, what a burden, I don’t care anymore and Daeyoung was like you little bastard, don’t you know how miserable this hyung is right now? Hehehehe…
Daeyoung ended up telling Jungwoo what happened last night about being kissed by another person in front of someone he likes. Daeyoung asked Jungwoo to be his drinking buddy for the night because he is going through a lot emotionally right now because of Hongran obviously….
Jungwoo said this time the tab will be on him because some money came in just recently. I’m assuming the phone call he got earlier was regarding it.
Daeyoung was wondering where the money came from and Jungwoo told him that he got most of the money back that he lost from that medical incident. He was able to get most of it back at the least because what happened wasn’t really his fault.
Daeyoung asked Jungwoo how much he got and Jungwoo was like, why are you curious about that? Daeyoung wanted Jungwoo to tell him because he was curious. Then Jungwoo showed up a hand sign saying two and then Daeyoung was like 200,000 million won?! Afterwards Jungwoo added a zero with his hands then Daeyoung blurted out really loud by saying, 2 billion won?! Daeyoung was being so loud that Jungwoo told him to be quiet and lower his voice down.
Daeyoung said he envied Jungwoo for all that money and he realized that he was able to get the money back because what happened wasn’t his fault to begin with. Then Jungwoo said he was able to get a lot of it back because his reputation was ruined after the incident and due to that accident he lost a lot of business as well.
Then Daeyoung was like, let’s go out and spend that money, and you should get me a car while you are at it. Man, Daeyoung or should I say, Yoon Park is so silly in this show, he is not the Cha Kangjae that a lot of fans are used to hehehe…
Jungwoo was like, why should I buy you a car when I don’t even have my own car yet then Daeyoung was like, let’s go shopping and buy you a wallet and a belt too. Daeyoung was saying that since he has all that money now, it’s time for him to leave that rooftop apartment too.
Daeyoung was envious of Jungwoo and he was also wondering what he was gonna do with all that money. Jungwoo said he thought long and hard about it and he said that he wants to use it to get a place where he could stay with Haneul. At first Daeyoung didn’t get what he was talking about then it clicked so he was like are you trying to? Could it be that you are trying to?
Jungwoo went to the jewelry store to get something for Haneul but I wonder what it would be? I wonder if it’s a ring, a necklace, earrings, a bracelet, or all of them…perhaps a matching set? Hmmmmm…
Haneul was pooped, she looked so exhausted and I think it’s even more so since it’s been a while for her to work so hard like that. As Haneul was resting on the couch and she was looking at her phone, Jungwoo came to visit her. Haneul grabbed his face and told him that she missed him.
Jungwoo was pouting and acting like a kid again. He was like, I had to come and see you because you wouldn’t show your face to me and Haneul showed him a big smile. Jungwoo felt bad because he came at a bad time and was bothering her. Haneul told him that he wasn’t bothering her then they walked to the couch together lovingly while Haneul was walking with her arms wrapped around his.
Haneul told Jungwoo that she was upset because she didn’t really have a whole lot of time to see him and spend time with him but now she feels like all her exhaustion flew away due to Jungwoo being there. Then Jungwoo was like, when it comes to making exhaustion disappear it’s me, Yeo Jungwoo….
Jungwoo really likes Haneul’s office and the office looks so nice that she looks like an important person. Haneul asked if they should go get a cup of coffee or go out to eat or something. Jungwoo said he came over to talk to Haneul about something really important.
Jungwoo confessed that he has been having a hard time lately because he wasn’t able to see her whenever he wanted so he made a big decision so he could be with her all the time even if she is busy. Haneul was wondering what he was talking about, she really looked puzzled by what he was saying.
Jungwoo still keeps in touch with the medical volunteering organization, he told Haneul. He took out a photo of a seven year old girl from the Philippines that’s suffering from microtia. Jungwoo told Haneul that she asked them if they have someone that needs help of any kind then they showed her a picture of the girl from the Philippines.
Jungwoo expressed interest in performing surgery on the little girl. Jungwoo was saying to Haneul that he is not able to perform surgery on the girl at the clinic that he is working at and he added that he went to go see the doctor in charge for that department at Haneul’s hospital and they gave him the green light saying they will help the little girl get her surgery there. Fortunately, Jungwoo gets to participate in the process too. It’s called collaborating baby!
Haneul couldn’t believe it so that’s why her reaction was like, seriously?! Jungwoo said that at first he thought he was just gonna be helping out with funding the operation and also help with the process of diagnosing her but they decided to add him to the surgical team to operate on the child.
Jungwoo was happy just thinking about working with his girlfriend Haneul. He wants to perform this surgery with his Dr.Nam Haneul, with his Professor Nam Haneul. Jungwoo asked Haneul if she is willing to work with him on this surgery for the little girl. Haneul nodded and agreed to do the surgery with him.
Jungwoo and Haneul were looking at the picture of the little girl and discussing it then we saw a scene where Jungwoo is doing a lecture on this case. Jungwoo was doing a powerpoint presentation on the case of this little seven year old girl named Rea because she’s the child that they will be working on. The girl Rea is also suffering from this thing called Auricular Hypoplasia as well. I had a hard time understanding this scene in both Korean and English since it’s all a bunch of medical jargon to me.
Haneul was just checking out her man, she wasn’t just looking at him but was gazing at him as if she was checking him from the top of his head down to the souls of his feet. Haneul then suddenly said that Jungwoo looks so sexy, you could tell that there was lust in her eyes there…
Jungwoo was like, if you really think I’m that cool and sexy looking, should we go somewhere and have a discussion about it? Haneul was giggling and Jungwoo was saying that they should have a detailed discussion about why and where she thinks he looks so gorgeous like that. Jungwoo was grinning at her and with that sexy voice of his he said she should explain to him in detail about the reasons why she thinks he is so darn drop dead gorgeous like that.
Haneul looked like she was just full of lust a moment ago but then all of a sudden she was giggling like a little girl. Haneul then talked about how many people want to live by doing good deeds but they have to go through a lot of thought processes before making that decision to go for it. Haneul was trying to make a point that she is indeed proud of him, proud of her Yeo Jungwoo. Then Jungwoo said that he wants to do something meaningful because he was able to get that money back even though it was a rough process.
Haneul said that she is indeed proud of her Jungwoo but she couldn’t quite understand why he couldn’t be simple about it from the beginning. Haneul couldn’t comprehend why he said he wanted to use it to be together with her.
Haneul said that she was nervous the moment she heard him saying that. I guess she feels the same way and she kinda got the hint what he was trying to ask her. Also, Jungwoo couldn’t understand why Haneul was feeling nervous about what he said. Then Haneul came up with a way to get away with what she was really feeling inside obviously. She said that she is the type that gets nervous easily. It’s so easy to tell that Haneul was getting really nervous about getting to the point so was coming up with ways to avoid the situation by talking about something else like, hey let’s go have a cup of coffee, I was planning to get some coffee while stuttering too hehehe…
Both Jungwoo and Haneul’s phones were going off and Mrs. Kong sent them some photos that they took in Busan then Jungwoo told Haneul that she shouldn’t look at the last photo and Haneul was wondering why. The last picture was the one where he was in that kendo uniform/outfit. Haneul was laughing her butt off and she was like, this is incredible, it’s something that should be used as a background photo. Haneul thought that Jungwoo in the kendo outfit is a social media material.
Haneul and Jungwoo were acting like teenagers again. Haneul was like, I’m gonna post this on social media and Jungwoo;s like what are you talking about? Haneul’s like, it’s my cellphone so I get to do whatever I want with it…
And Jungwoo is like we shouldn’t be doing this, I have a present for you. Jungwoo was begging that Haneul won’t post that photo on the internet then somehow they ended up grabbing each other and as they were sitting on the couch, they were staring at each other.
Haneul looked like she was gonna go for a deep one but she only gave him a peck on the cheeks! BOO! WHAT A TEASE! Jungwoo had his eyes all closed too getting ready for a thick juicy kiss. Then Haneul tapped his chest like a teenager again and she turned into a mature woman saying that he should get to work already.
While Haneul wasn’t looking he was looking into his bag, obviously Jungwoo bought a ring or some kind of jewelry at the jewelry store, we probably won’t find out what he bought exactly till episode 15…..and as he had that box in his hands, Park Hyungsik OST for Dr. Slump started playing, took them long enough! Park Hyungsik sang a song called Lean on me or Nege Gide in Korean.
Jungwoo wanted to really give it to her but he seemed to be nervous about it. I guess it’s a nerve wrecking thing to do to put a ring on somebody’s fingers. I’m looking forward to the next episode and I think it will be an episode of Jungwoo trying to propose to her in some way, shape or form.
The preview had Jungwoo trying to find ways to give the ring to Haneul. The first way of giving it to her was like a cool and sexy dude. The second way was a cute and goofy looking dork. Then Jungwoo dropped it cus Haneul came back in and it surprised him. It seemed like Bada was making fun of Jungwoo saying that he might be a single man from birth. Then Jungwoo said he must get going and he ended up at the jewelry shop again looking for a bracelet. And we have Jungwoo and Daeyoung talking about Haneul, it looked like Daeyoung was trying to give the younger guy some insight into his relationship. Daeyoung made it sound as if he might not have proved himself to Haneul just yet.
Then we see Jungwoo at the jewelry shop again but this time he was asking for a necklace. Jungwoo’s old friends couldn’t believe that he was dating someone like Haneul. The couple went out for a drink with their two classmates and Jungwoo was saying how adorable she is in front of their friends. Jungwoo was patting her on the head saying how cute she is and his friends couldn’t believe what they were witnessing.
Haneul asked Jungwoo if he wants to be part of her family and Jungwoo was like there’s no other proposal as touching as this he said to himself and he went for it. Haneul looked like she was about to call home or something but Jungwoo told her to tell them that she is gonna be doing an all nighter at work so she won’t be able to come home. Then we see the two lying in Jungwoo’s bed but it didn’t look as innocent as what we saw back in Episode 11 though…
