My short thoughts on Episode 1 of Dr. Slump

·

The first episode of Dr. Slump made me realize once again that Park Hyungsik looks good in school uniforms. Normally, guys don’t look good in school after a certain age but Hyungsik really rocks it in them school uniforms.

Honestly, I was a little worried about the female lead Nam Haneul who is played by Park Shinhye but she was pretty decent and I did kind of like the chemistry between the male lead and the female lead.

Oh and Yoon Park was a nice added bonus because he played Shikkie’s older brother in What Happens to my family which aired exactly 10 years ago so it was nice to see them together after all these years as different characters.

Also, Park Shinhye was in a drama with Shikkie like 11 years ago but they hardly had any interaction so it was interesting to seem together as male and female lead respectively.

The story was getting so interesting that I wished that episode two was uploaded already. It’s okay though cus by the time I wake up in the morning episode two will already be up. However, I would have to wait another weekend for episodes three and four…what a bummer….

Episode 1 a lot of fun and it was so cool that I got to see the high school Yeo Jungwoo and then the adult Yeo Jungwoo. I realized that Shikkie has such a wide range when it comes to acting because he is able to do comedy, romance, and everything else and between. It makes total sense that I’ve been in love with Park Hyungsik for almost a year now…..

  1. I wish I could go to school with Hyungsik or any of his dopplegangers argh…

It’s funny cus Jungwoo was an honor student when he was in High School, more like the one of the top students along with Haneul but in real life he wasn’t good in school academically……

Either way, Hyungsik is able to pull off any role even when there are limitations in period dramas that’s how talented he is……Sometimes I envy him….He is hot, he is talented and then some lol…..

I loved his interaction with Park Shinhye’s character Nam Haneul and also his interaction with his former brother Yoon Park hehehe….

As far as theorizing goes, I want to wait a little longer before I dissect the story…….

Anyways, I’m happy to witness/watch this show with you while it’s airing and it just started yesterday……

This is the first show where we are fangirling together while it’s airing so that’s why it’s kinda special to me…I’m sure you feel the same way…

  2. Finally we had our medical checkup with Dr Yeo. LOL
I’m so glad we are able to watch this show while it’s on air.
As a matter of fact Park Hyung Sik never disappoints and I think that as Dr Yeo he will deliver a wide emotional spectrum through the screen, something he was unable to achieve with his previous role due to the limitations of the period drama.
In general the rest of the cast seems to be a right choice.
