First of all Merry Christmas to Shikkie and all of his fans around the world! I wanted to say that before I start writing today’s special holiday post. I decided to take a few minutes of my time to do one of those Shikkie character analysis posts which I haven’t done in a long while now. I want to do one where I analyze Shikkie’s characters as dads during the Christmas Holiday so here goes nothing……

Cha Dalbong- What Happens to my family

Dalbong would be the kind of dad that might be a little awkward celebrating Christmas with his child but I think that he would have a lot of fun because he is such a childlike character. He might act more like a child than his child to some degree. At first he might not show it but he would have that childlike Christmas wonder written all over his face though.

Yoo Changsoo- High Society

I can’t picture Changsoo doing childish or even childlike things just cus it’s Christmas. I think Changsoo would take his whole family somewhere really nice for Christmas and he would buy the nicest Christmas presents that money could buy. Changsoo’s child will be spoiled with the finer things in life with a fancy vacation and some fancy toys as well.

King Jinheung- Hwarang

It’s kinda hard for me to picture Christmas in Shilla but the only thing that I could think of King Jinheung doing for his dear little ones during Christmas would be a grand feast for everyone to partake. The whole palace would be decorated nicely, super delicious food and really lavish gifts.

Ahn Minhyuk- Strong Woman Do Bongsoon

Minhyuk would be the best dad during Christmas in my opinion. He would shower his kid with all the attention that the child deserves. He would be super active with the whole family but especially with his child. He would be a kid and play with his dear little one but he won’t take their glory away either. He would buy the nicest toys for his child just like Changsoo but he would have a more playful attitude about it. If I were to be a little kid, I would pick Minhyuk to be my papa for Christmas.

Seo Insoo- Two lights

Christmas would be very low key with this guy so him and his family most likely would just have a quiet family Christmas. Maybe, go for a nice but quiet road trip with the family.

Go Yeonwoo- Suits

Yeonwoo would be practical when it comes to Christmas. They would probably go for a simple holiday meal at a decent family friend restaurant and each of the family members would just exchange a simple gift or two with one another.

Der Tod/DT- Elizabeth

I have a hard time picturing him celebrating Christmas with his family. I just can’t help but to picture him being single man with tons of energy and going out and about to night clubs and hooking up with the most beautiful ladies in the world and just dance the night away then go home. Once he gets home he will eat like crazy then pass out for a day or two.

Jung Yihyun- Happiness

I think Christmas would be fun as Yihyun’s kid but probably not as much as Minhyuk and Dalbong’s child. I think he would take his kid/kids somewhere outdoors. He would drive his family out into nature and do some winter camping. I don’t know why but I either think of a cabin or a tent. There would be tons of blankets, chopped up wood, sleeping bags, fishing rods, and cooking equipment. Yihyun would teach his wife and kid/kids to be self sufficient out in the wilderness and he would tell them not to take modern technology for granted. The family would exchange gifts under the bonfire as they are roasting some marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate.

Park Hyungsik- Friendcation

Hyungsik would be the best dad out of all his characters. I think he would decorate for Christmas with his family and I think he would make a big deal about the holiday more than any of his chracters that he played over the years. He would buy tons of gifts for his child and he would be up to do anything and everything. He wouldn’t mind going on a trip somewhere near or far. He wouldn’t mind spending Christmas indoor or outdoor. What I’m trying to say is this, with Hyungsik it would be very flexible and with him Christmas would be full of fun and joy!

Han Seonwoo- Soundtrack # 1

With Seonwoo Christmas would be low key, he seems very cultured so he might take his family on a vacation but abroad. He would be the type that might go somewhere historical and experience how others celebrate Christmas if they do that is but if they don’t he would want to find out why they don’t. He wouldn’t do this by himself, he would experience this with his wife and child because he wants his family to be as cultured as he is.

Scholar Park/Crowned Prince/Crowned King/Lee Hwan- Our Blooming Youth

Back in the Joseon Dynasty, they did not celebrate Christmas since it was a super duper Confucius state but if in some alternate world they did celebrate Christmas Hwan wouldn’t go super crazy with it. I could see him throwing a party for his kid and family, kinda like King Jinheung of Shilla but it would be less lavish. He would also try to educate his kids about Christmas and how it came to be by reading them stories.

Dr Yeo Jungwoo- Dr Slump

I don’t know too much about Dr Yeo Jungwoo because the drama hasn’t even aired yet but I want to safely assume that he would be kind of like Minhyuk but a slightly less enthusiastic version of him.

If I were to choose a dad out of this bunch to spend Christmas with, it would have to be Minmin…and Hyungsik himself. Minmin and Hyungsik would be my daddy/daddies to spend Christmas with hehehe…
