After Hyungsik hung up the phone with Seojoon, he was bothered by what he said. He is in Seoul now because of Brina, and apparently Brina is already in Korea? Hyungsik had his phone in one hand while walking towards the meeting room.

Jen was talking with the director, Hyojoo and some other cast members and Hyungsik gave Jen that piercing look that everybody avoids if they could help it.

Hyungsik didn’t feel like talking to Jen right now but he had no other choice but to talk to her because they are discussing how they are gonna be going about the project. Jen was sitting next to the director talking about how she wants to write the show and she caught Shikkie’s eyes and she knew that she was in trouble by the looks of it.

Jen couldn’t help but to sweat cus she knew when Hyungsik was upset. His eyes do not hide his emotions very well, even if he is an actor, he has trouble with that for some reason. Although he is good at hiding those emotions when he has to act but off camera he has a hard time controlling his emotions and right now he was a little bit upset with Jen and she knew that.

“Jen, don’t you think it would be better if Hyungsik and Hyojoo had more romance in this story? People really go for the romance aspect of things.” Director Kim said while looking around the room.

Jen did not agree because there are plenty of superhero movies whether they are Marvel or DC, where the focus isn’t romance. However, when it comes to the K-Drama tropes a lot of shows, or trendy shows tend to have romance and melodrama so Jen kinda knew where the director was getting at with this. However, she still did not agree about Hyungsik and Hyojoo having more romance in the show. 

Hyungsik sat quietly next to Hyojoo and this pissed off Jen. Why isn’t her boyfriend sitting next to her but sitting right next to Hyojoo? What’s going on? 

There was some kind of a misunderstanding and Hyungsik is not thinking clearly  and he is too upset to think things thoroughly.

Brina was in her hotel room, laying on her bed just thinking about everything that had happened since they went on that silly road trip.

Brina wasn’t sure why she was acting this way. She was thinking maybe she wasn’t really over Hyungsik yet or could it be that she is afraid of commitment?

Brina wasn’t sure of herself and she wasn’t even sure why she had to stay in Korea to solve her problems. She thought about what Jen said before, why can’t she just work things out while she is in Argentina, her home country?

Brina couldn’t answer any of these questions but she was sure of one thing and that was staying in Korea regardless, she did not want to go back to Argentina.

Hyungsik is a sweet guy and a very understanding person but why is he being like this to Jen? I mean over some silly misunderstanding?

Jen was deep in thought and she just couldn’t focus on what the director was saying to her and to the cast  members of this show.

“Jen! Jen! Jen!” Director Kim said practically shouting at her.

“Are you alright, Miss. Park?”

“Yes, I am fine, Director Kim.”

Hyojoo decided to open up and she started a conversation with Jen.

“Jen, do you think Hyungsik and I should have a passionate kiss?”

Hyungsik didn’t show any emotions and this was quite unusual cus he is a very expressive fella.

Jen didn’t really feel like answering any of this, she wasn’t in the mood but she knew that she had to be professional about this.

“Director Kim … .I don’t think the passionate kiss scenes between Mr Park and Ms Han are necessary.”

Jen just addressed Hyungsik as Mr. Park and even Hyungsik knew that Jen wasn’t in such a hot mood. Hyojoo felt bad because she didn’t want to be that person that would break up a sweet couple like these two people with the same last name.

“Oh … .do you really think we shouldn’t include passionate kiss scenes between the hero and the girl?”

“Yes, director Kim…” Jen answered firmly.

“No, director Kim…I think the kiss scenes should happen, a lot of fans would want this and we should make the fans happy right?”

This felt like a strange mind game between Hyungsik and Jen. Jen didn’t think that Hyungsik had this side to him but she still couldn’t understand why Hyungsik was treating her like this…He is such a sweet guy so why? 

Meanwhile Seojoon was on his way to his place, he took an Uber over there. He really missed Korea. He missed many things about Korea too. He liked Argentina but a lot of things were more convenient in Korea than in Argentina.

Seojoon was finally home but the apartment felt very empty cus Peakboy no longer lives there now that he is  married. Taehyung and Wooshik are out of town because they are so busy with their projects. Jen and Hyungsik are at work. So, there was nobody to welcome him home and this felt really strange to him.

Seojoon looked around the empty house feeling lonely and sad. He wanted to give Hyungsik a call but decided not to bother him because he knew that he was working right now.

Meanwhile, over at the studio, Director Kim decided to put some juicy kiss scenes between Hyungsik and Hyojoo. A lot was going through Jen’s mind. Jen realized something, Hyungsik is a sweet guy but could be a little vindictive and that’s a scorpio trait.

Jen was in the corner writing some scenes between Hyungik and Hyojoo quietly while trying to calm herself down because she was really frustrated with her boyfriend right now.

Director Kim was trying to see how the kiss scenes should play out between the main couple of Comedy Superhero.

Director Kim gestured towards Hyungsik and Hyojoo to stand up because he wanted them to kiss each other so he could see their chemistry. Trying to prove that they have chemistry was a waste of time in Jen’s mind because it was already proven in Happiness and also Hyungsik is famous for being the chemistry maker, no matter who he works with.

Jen realized that Hyungsik and Hyojoo making out would spice it up a bit but she still thought that it wasn’t all that necessary for a superhero show. However, Jen decided to be a pro and go with what the director suggested.

“Ready action!” Director Kim said.

Hyungsik and Hyojoo started kissing and even in Jen’s eyes they looked so good but didn’t want to admit it. Jen also realized that you have to be a person with a strong heart to work with your significant other like this. Jen used to hear about or rather read about people in magazines where famous people break up because they worked together in such a close space.

In Jen’s original script Hyungsik and Hyojoo were supposed to just hug each other, not a passionate kiss. 

Jen couldn’t help but to feel that their chemistry was through the roof, she didn’t want to admit it but it was quite strong, no wonder many people ship Hyungsik and Hyojoo when Happiness was airing.

Jen was thinking in the back of her mind that she should have a heart to heart chit chat with Hyungsik once they get home. She feels that he shouldn’t be this upset with her whatever it is.

Jen thought it would be best for her to excuse herself so she decided to have a private chit chat with director Kim.

“May I have a chat with you, Director Kim….? I would like to talk to you in private.” Jen said very quietly.

“Yes, of course……”

Director Kim excused himself and led Jen outside of the conference room.

“So, what’s going on Miss. Park?”

“Well….is it okay if I leave early today? I will work on the script at home, I promise…I will certainly meet the deadline and then some…..”

“Oh…are you having problems with Hyungsik?”

“Well…it’s a long story……there is some silly misunderstanding but right now, I feel a little uncomfortable……”

“Okay, Miss Park…only today…okay? Whatever it is, try to work things out because we don’t want to have your personal domestic matters affecting our work here…Mkay?”

“Yes, director Kim….I am well aware of what you are saying….just today…..”

“Okay, Miss Park…you can leave now if you want … .but tomorrow be here on time because we have a lot to discuss.” said Director kim in his firm but friendly voice.

“Thank you sir!” Jen said cheerfully although she was deeply concerned about her relationship with Hyungsik.

Jen left the set without saying anything to Hyungsik. She took an uber back home and as soon as she opened the door of the apartment, there was Seojoon sitting on the couch, watching Netflix.

“Oh my goodness! Oppa?!” Jen said to Seojoon in her signature surprised voice.

“Oh hey girl!” Seojoon said to Jen. He was really happy to see her.

They both gave each other a huge hug. 

“I thought you were at work!”

“Yeah, I was at work……but I got off early….”

“But what about Hyungsik?”

“Well…he is still at work…”

“Why did you get off so early?”

“It’s a long story…..”

“But anyways Seojoon oppa…what are you doing here?”

“I am back….I am back home……”

“You left Argentina?”

“Yeah…..I think Brina and I are through….”

Jen was able to relate to Seojoon all of a sudden. Jen was having a relationship crisis due to some dumb misunderstanding but it seemed like Seojoon was going through something very similar.

Jen did know about Brina and Seojoon because she told her a little bit about what they were going through.

“How are you and Hyungsik?”

“Us? Yeah……we are doing….okay….” Jen couldn’t tell Seojoon that she wasn’t doing okay with Hyungsik.

This was all because of Brina because she wanted Jen to keep her being in Korea a secret. Brina had her reasons but because of this silly misunderstanding, Hyungsik is upset with Jen and now they are in this strange awkward situation.

“You don’t seem alright.” 

Seojoon was right, she wasn’t. He was able to tell just by looking into her eyes, her voice and her general body language.

“Tell me, what’s going on? I’m like a big brother to you so tell me…what’s up?”

“Well…Hyungsik is mad at me….”

“Why?”

“Cus of some misunderstanding;…..and some other thing….”

“Care to tell me?”

“Ya know…..Brina told me not to tell anybody about her being here in Korea and Hyungsik was curious then he kept on asking me about who I was with that one afternoon/evening and I had to make up an excuse because I wasn’t supposed to tell him that I was with Brina….”

“Oh my…..”

Seojoon felt guilty all of a sudden, he felt like this was all his fault. If he didn’t push Brina to the edge she probably wouldn’t have come to Korea then Jen wouldn’t be in such an awkward situation with Hyungsik. But even if that were to be the case there was another problem and that was Hyojoo.

“It’s not just that though……it’s also work.”

“Work? How so?”

“There are some creative differences between Director Kim, Hyungsik and Me.”

“Yeah, it’s never easy to work with someone so close to you in showbiz.”

“I kinda regret this, oppa.”

“Oh my….”

Jen was so sad that she leaned on Seojoon’s shoulder to cry but it was nothing romantic, it was just a brother and sister kinda hug.

However, everything was going wrong for Jen because at that moment Hyungsik entered the door. 

Hyungsik got off a little early too, he didn’t feel good after Jen leaving like that so he decided to leave not too long afterwards.

As soon as Hyungsik walked in the door he saw Jen being held by Seojoon. It was nothing romantic, Seojoon was just comforting Jen from her temporary despair because of Hyungsik misunderstanding her.

“You two look happy!” Hyungsik was being snappy but mostly towards Jen.

“OPPA!” Jen said surprised.

“Don’t misunderstand Hyungsik, I was just comforting her because she seemed sad.”

“That’s how it all happens!” Hyungsik said angrily.

Hyungsik slammed the door and left the apartment and Seojoon decided to catch up to him. Seojoon thought they needed to have a real man to man chat.

“Jen, I will be back…I’m gonna go talk to that kid……he is so emotional…..he needs to learn how to express it better … .I’m gonna go talk to him…you stay put okay? I will bring him home to you.” Seojoon said while patting her on the head.

Seojoon managed to catch up to Hyungsik, Seojoon took Shikkie to a local bar so they could have a man to man chit chat.
