It was the next morning and so much was happening at Yumin Corp. Finally, Director Yoo Changsoo is back and he had to be filled in with a lot of information since he’s been away for approximately two weeks.

Lawyer Go was given a little office of his own because they decided to promote him from a temporary intern lawyer to a permanent one.

Both Jen and Changsoo were so exhausted from last night. After work they decided to do some catching up since they haven’t seen each other in a while and it lasted till this morning before coming to work.

Jen was busy trying to do her daily duties as usual and Changsoo left the office briefly so he could go talk to Lawyer Go. As Jen was by herself looking through some important documents, Chairman Yoo decided to stop by and he came into the office with his wife. 

Yoonha was at the rooftop and she was deep in thought and Joongi realized that she wasn’t sitting at her desk so he decided to go look for her at the rooftop, that’s where Yoonha goes to think when there are complicated things going on in her life.

“What’s bothering you, Yoonha?”

“Ahhh….I know I did the right thing but……”

“Oh…you worried about your father?”

“Kinda…I don’t know why I’m feeling this way…I always hated my father because he treated my mom like crap, he was always sleeping with different women, he never really cared for me and my siblings but especially he treated me badly but why?”

“You sound like a person that feels bad for what you did…….”

Joongi came closer to Yoonha and hugged her.

“Yeah….I do feel bad but he deserves it though…….hopefully he’ll learn his lessons from this…..” Yoonha sighed and Joongi hugged her till she was feeling better about what she had to do to her father … ..for being a snitch.

Chairman Yoo and his wife, Mrs Yoo, came by to Changsoo’s office.

“Oh hello, Chairman Yoo……and Hi, Mrs Yoo….”

“Oh hello sweetie, you can just call me mother now….” Changsoo’s mother was giggling like an innocent girl and Jen thought it was so cute.

“Ahem!” Mr Yoo cleared his throat.

“I am sorry, I want to apologize to you first, Secretary Park.”

“Oh, no sir…I didn’t do much….you should compliment Director Yoo….”

Changsoo’s mother really liked the fact that Jen was such a humble girl.

“You do know that your son is the one that changed the hearts of that one American company that was gonna invest in Yumin, right?”

“Yes, I am aware of it all.”

Changsoo’s father cleared his throat again.

“I heard everything from Changsoo earlier this morning…..”

“We are so proud of him…” Said Changsoo’s mom smiling.

“You should be proud of your son, Mrs. Yoo…”

Jen smiled and Changsoo’s mother smiled back at her.

“Oh…you should call me mother … .I might be your mother in law soon…”

“That’s right…” Jen smiled again.

Chairman Yoo tapped Mrs. Yoo on the shoulder for acting silly around Jen then he cleared his throat.

“Don’t worry, Secretary Park….you are gonna keep your position as Changsoo’s secretary and……” Chairman Yoo had a hard time saying what he was about to say but Mrs. Yoo encouraged him to open his mouth.

“Yes, Chairman Yoo?”

“I want to let…you know … ..it’s okay to date Changsoo … .I permit your…..relationship….!”

Jen was so happy that she wanted to shout but she knew that she had to keep it professional.

“Oh is that so Chairman Yoo…..I thank you very much sir.”

Jen cleared her throat and asked Changsoo’s parents if they wanted something to drink.

“Would you care to have something to drink Mr Yoo…? Mrs. Yoo?”

“No thank you darling.” said Changsoo’s mother.

“Oh one more thing, Changsoo’s brothers are gonna reap the consequences for what they have caused, I’m gonna try to sue them for what they tried to do to our company…….I should’ve realized this a long time ago….Changsoo was the better kid compared to his older brothers….”

Chairman Yoo felt like it was unfortunate that he would have to take some form of legal action against Changsoo’s two older brothers. He is feeling exactly the same way as Yoonha right now because she had to take matters into her own hands regarding her old man. 

Jen didn’t know what to say. Changsoo’s two brothers were certainly wrong about what they did but they are still his brothers and Chairman Yoo’s boys so she couldn’t really comment on it.

“We said all we wanted to say, hang in there Secretary Park, and please be good to our boy….” Chairman Yoo tapped Jen on the shoulder as an encouragement.

“Sweetie…..I’m glad you are Changsoo’s girl, not those stupid bimbos…” then Changsoo’s mother gave her a huge hug. 

Changsoo’s parents were on their way out and Jen wanted to treat them with respect so she wanted to see them out so she followed them to the door and Changsoo’s mother noticed something.

Jen was walking kind of funny and Mrs. Yoo took notice.

“Too much catching up, is that it?” Mrs Yoo teased her and Jen blushed.

“No mother…I….” Jen was trying to make some stupid excuses and Mrs. Yoo said….

“I know…you don’t have to explain everything to me but remember I lived a lot longer than you so I know these things…..You and my Changsoo had a lot of catching up to do…..and I’ll just leave it at that….” Mrs. Yoo smiled and winked at Jen by trying to let her know that she knows what’s up about what they’ve been doing after office hours since he’s been back from the States.

“Ahem!”

Changsoo’s father felt like his wife was being distracted. He wanted to take off already because he had a lot to do. He had to take legal action with their two older boys and also he had to think of ways to sue Mr Jang. Chairman Jang of Taejin group is the real villain and his two stupid boys are just a part of his scheme because they didn’t know any better. He wanted to punish his two older boys a little bit but he really wanted to do something about Chairman Jang of Taejin Group.

Changsoo’s parents left and it was just Jen again and she was blushing because of the comment that Mrs. Yoo made earlier. She tried her best to walk normally but I guess she wasn’t trying hard enough. Jen was trying to practice her walking so nobody else would notice.

Meanwhile, Changsoo was having a chit chat with Lawyer Go regarding his two brothers and Taejin group’s Chairman Jang.

“Thanks for helping me, and Secretary Park while I was away…I heard a lot about you…” said Changsoo while smiling at Lawyer Go.

“Oh, I was just doing my duty, Director Yoo.” Lawyer Go said politely with a gentle smile.

“My girlfriend tells me that you were so good pretending to be me … .thanks again…” Changsoo giggles a little and he couldn’t help himself when he was thinking about his doppelganger being able to pretend to be the director of Yumin Corp.

“Oh no sir…please don’t compliment me so much….”

“I have a favor to ask you Lawyer Go…”

“Go ahead, ask me anything, Director Yoo.”

“Do you think you could help me do some research on Chairman Jang of Taejin group?”

Changsoo didn’t want  too much to happen to Chairman Jang since he’s Yoonha’s father after all, he feels the same way about his two brothers. He really doesn’t want them to go through severe punishments if they are willing to admit their faults and turn from their evil ways. However if not he wanted them to reap the consequences for their bad behaviors. 

“Of course director Yoo, I will do everything I can to solve this issue.” Lawyer Go was determined because he is an actual lawyer for a huge company now. He was just an intern, a temp but now he is a permanent lawyer for Yumin Corp.

“Thanks, Lawyer Go..I will let you be so you could get started on your research for this case.” Changsoo said and Lawyer Go bowed as he was leaving his office.

Jen was practicing her walk in the office because of what Changsoo’s mother said earlier, she was embarrassed that she had to make it so obvious after her intimate encounter with her boyfriend.

As Jen was practicing her walk in Changsoo’s office, she couldn’t help but to smile then all of a sudden Changsoo showed up by scaring her from behind.

“Boo!”

“What are you doing honey? I mean, Director Yoo? You scared me!”

“Oh did I? I’m sorry…..”

“Did you get to talk to Lawyer Go?”

“Yes, he is gonna help me with doing something about my brothers and also Chairman Jang…although I really don’t want them to suffer too much.”

“Awww…you are such a nice guy, Director Yoo…” Jen smiled while patting Director Yoo on the head.

“Babe…..I mean Secretary Park, you have become so bold lately….patting people’s heads is my job, ya know…” Then Changsoo patted Jen on the head too.

This whole patting each other on the head led to other things like kissing each other. Jen was leaning against the wall and Changsoo cupped her face and passionately kissed her. The two love birds kissing each other led to something that was forbidden in the office but the timing was really bad because Lawyer Go was knocking on the door because he needed to consult Director Yoo regarding his two brothers and Chairman Jang.

 Lawyer Go heard some noise and he started to close his eyes and fantasize about stuff. However, the moment he opened his eyes, the neatly dressed Director Yoo was there opening the door for him.

“Have you been waiting here long? Sorry….I was a little busy….”

“Oh, no…I just got here sir…”

Meanwhile, Yoonha decided to go talk to her father. She wanted her father to apologize to the Yoo family and confess his wrong then his sentence could be shortened or better yet, The Yoo’s might just forget about it altogether and just move on. 

Changsoo felt similarly about this, because he didn’t want anything to happen to his two dumb brothers despite what he tried to do to him, his father and their beloved Yoomin Corp.

Lawyer Go managed to do some research that would help Yoomin Corp have the advantage. However, both Changsoo and Yoonha wanted to find a way for their family members to redeem themselves somehow.

Changsoo told Jen that he is gonna go see his dad to talk about his brothers and Chairman Jang. Changsoo wanted these people in jail but he thought maybe if they truly learned their lesson then perhaps he could just let them slide as long as they don’t pull a stunt like this ever again.

“Hi dad.” Changsoo said.

Mrs. Yoo already left the building, the family driver took her home a little while ago so now it’s just Chairman Yoo sitting at his desk just thinking about this and that while reading his daily newspaper.

“Hello there my boy.”

Chairman Yoo was rather friendly with Changsoo which he isn’t used to and it’s been this way for quite some time but Chairman Yoo realized that Changsoo’s a great kid and he overlooked that. Chairman Yoo feels really bad about his behavior, his treatment towards such a good boy like Changsoo. 

Changsoo thanks Jen for all this though, his inner good was buried deep within him, he just needed someone to see his potential and get it out of him and Jen was able to do that.

“Dad, I was thinking that maybe we should think of a different way to approach this situation…you know…regarding Chairman Jang and my brothers.”

“I see what you mean boy, I was thinking the same thing…… .Have you spoken with Lawyer Go about this?”

“Yes, I have…..he said there are many ways to get Chairman Jang and my brothers to pay the price for what they have done…..”

Changsoo and his dad are thinking of ways to forgive Chairman Jang and also his two silly older brothers while Yoonha was on her way to talk to her father about some things.

Changsoo thought it might be a good idea for them to have a family meeting and things might work out for the better if they all get together and talk about some of the misunderstandings they’ve been having, especially regarding the Yoomin inheritance and what not. 

Yoonha wanted to talk to her father because maybe they would be able to find a reasonable solution if they could find a middle ground that everyone might be happy with.

Over at Jen’s parents house, they were missing their daughter severely. Jen had been so busy with the Yumin Corp affairs that she hasn’t visited them nor called them in a while.

Changsoo was thinking about proposing to Jen once they are done taking care of business regarding company matters. He was thinking that as soon as they decide to come up with a solution for Chairman Jang and his two brothers, he’s going to propose to Jen.

While Changsoo was away and as soon as he came back, he realized that there was no reason to delay their marriage. He didn’t want to lose a woman like Jen. 

Changsoo and Chairman Yoo decided to get together as a family at home and have a nice family meal while talking about all the things that had happened recently at Yumin Corp.

Changsoo’s father wants to talk to his two older boys to give them another chance but under one condition, they would have to listen to Changsoo’s instructions running the company.

Jen decides to give her parents a call so they won’t worry about her, it’s the least she could do. Jen was thinking about visiting her family with Changsoo. Changsoo didn’t tell Jen this yet because he’s been so busy with company affairs ever since he came back to Korea but he was planning to make a visit to the Park’s residence with Jen.

The evening comes and Changsoo is with his whole family at the dinner table, they haven’t done this in a long time.

Changsoo, his brothers and his father were looking at each other awkwardly while Mrs Yoo and the maid lady were bringing over the prepared food to the table.

Changsoo’s dad was talking to his two older brothers and he was trying to get them to understand that what they did was wrong. Chairman Yoo also wanted to let the two boys know that from now on Changsoo is gonna have more authority within the company. At first both Changsoo and his father were worried because they thought that they would not take it very well but they didn’t take it so hard.

Changsoo’s two older brothers agreed with Chairman Yoo that they were unfit to help their dad run the company and so they will give it a rest for a while until they are ready to be part of Yumin Corp again. 

Changsoo’s two older brothers looked Changsoo in the eyes and apologized. The oldest brother decided to open his mouth. 

“I want to let you know that you are more fit to help father run the company….” The oldest brother said.

The second older brother decided to add onto what the oldest brother just said to Changsoo.

“Yeah, we were blinded by greed and I think deep inside we were jealous of you……you were actually smarter than us and we were afraid that father would give you all the inheritance.”

It was true, Changsoo always was business savvy since he was a child and his two brothers felt inferior to him so they decided to plot against him but it finally backfired on them. 

When Changsoo was a little boy, even his father noticed how smart and business savvy he was and his two brothers thought the same thing.

Since Changsoo’s two older brothers seemed to have remorse for what they had done, Chairman Yoo decided not to take them to court. This was Chairman Yoo’s plan all along but he wasn’t sure how his two older boys were gonna take it but he was glad that they seemed to understand what they did was wrong. 

Lawyer Go did all the research necessary to take legal action for both of Changsoo’s two older brothers and Chairman Jang, just in case they don’t come around but at least with the brothers they don’t have to press charges and take them to court.

Meanwhile at the Jang residence, Chairman Jang and Yoonha were having a heart to heart chit chat.

“Father…..I’m sorry that I had to tell Chairman Yoo everything, I didn’t mean to be a snitch but I had no other choice…..You were in the wrong the whole time not the Yoo family…..”

Mr Jang took a deep breath because Yoonha was right. He knew that he was being greedy. Ever since Taejin group became huge, he was so obsessed with either merging with other companies or completely buying out the other companies and making them into his own, although that didn’t always go according to his plan. 

Chairman Jang of Taejin group had such a hard time admitting his wrong but this time he felt like Yoonha beat him to it, he was clearing his throat because he didn’t want to admit to the fact that he’s defeated by his own daughter.

“I know….I know I have been a lousy father, lousy boss and just a lousy person….”

Chairman Jang had a lot of regrets, even though he doesn’t want to admit to any of his bad behaviors from the past but deep inside he knows that he wronged many people and he just couldn’t help but to break down and cry.

Yoonha hugged her father and she had no idea that she was gonna bond with her father like this.

“I’m sorry for the trouble I caused you, your mother, your siblings and also I feel bad for what I tried to do to Changsoo’s family and Yumin Corp.

“I am very disappointed in you, I have felt this way ever since I was a little child…..I wanted a normal dad but you were not the kind of father I wanted……I don’t want to marry Changsoo but still I consider him a good friend so I want to tell you that what you tried to do to Yumin Corp was wrong….”

Both Yoonha and Chairman Jang hugged and cried together. And just like Changsoo’s two brothers Chairman Jang also admitted their wrongs although with less words so because of this Lawyer Go didn’t have much to worry about as far as this case is concerned despite how much he researched for this case.

The next morning at Yumin Corp, everyone seemed cheerful. Changsoo, Chairman Yoo, Secretary Park, Yoonha, Joongi, and Jiyi were super happy and it was written on all of their faces.

Since Changsoo was so busy the night before having a heavy dialogue with his father and his two brothers, he didn’t have time to talk to Jen over the phone. Ever since Changsoo and Jen have been dating, they would usually spend time together after work or at the very least talk over the phone or text when they get home but not last night.

Jen was busy too because she visited her family since she knew that Changsoo wasn’t gonna be available cus he was gonna hold a family meeting with his dad and two brothers.

Jen didn’t realize that she missed her family that much. She didn’t think that her family was that meaningful to her. Jen also realized the fact that her parents really cared about her and they cared a lot about their future son in law Changsoo as well. 

Jen’s family was asking about him a lot when she visited last night. Jen also told her mom and dad that Changsoo met with James, her older brother while he was in the States for his business trip.

Jen was happy that she had time to catch up with her family. She told them about her life at her new rooftop apartment and her relationship with Changsoo.

Jen was happy and so was Changsoo. Jen was at her desk doing her daily morning task while sipping on her morning coffee. Changsoo felt like a new man because he is getting along well with his father and his two brothers as well. Changsoo told Jen all about what went on at his house last night and Jen told Changsoo that she visited her family too.

Changsoo was at his desk looking over some documents and Jen walked over to where he was sitting.

“Honey…I mean…Director Yoo….”

“Hey babe…..I mean Secretary Park….”

Jen wanted to tell Changsoo that her parents wanted to see him again and Changsoo wanted to tell her that he wanted to take her to a hotel, of course she was gonna take it the wrong way. Changsoo’s family also wanted to invite Jen over for dinner before he proposed to Jen at a nice five star hotel. After they had a family meeting with the two brothers, Changoo’s parents told him that they wanted to invite Jen over for dinner and make everything official.

Changsoo wanted to propose to Jen at a fancy five star hotel, he wanted to make it special for her.

“My parents want us to come over again. Since I knew you weren’t gonna be available last night I decided to go over to see mom and dad since it’s been awhile…”

“Oh really? I don’t mind…I’m excited to visit your family…..I also have something important to tell them and I also want to tell them that I got to meet James…..”

“That’s great……my mom is gonna make dinner and she told me she is planning to make all of your favorite dishes….”

“Hahaha…that’s so sweet of her and oh…..my parents want to invite you for dinner as well……”

“Oh really honey?”

“Yeah babe…..they want to make it official and a formal dinner at the house is the best way to go about it….don’t you think?”

Changsoo kissed Jen softly while staring into her eyes. He just told Jen about his parents wanting to invite her for dinner but he still wanted to keep the special 5 star hotel proposal a secret.

As soon as both Changsoo got off work they headed over to the Park residence. Changsoo was more lighthearted than before because his whole family finally accepted Jen as part of their family and he was confident to stand in front of Mr. Park because his actions were able to prove that he had been serious about Jen.

Also getting Chairman Yoo’s approval would speak volumes regarding Changsoo’s character, this will be proof that Mr. Park could take him seriously when it comes to his little girl.

Changsoo and Jen arrived at the Park residence. Changsoo was still nervous about Jen’s father, it makes sense since he’s gonna be asking Mr Park to give Jen away to him. However, at the same time he also had the confidence that he didn’t before because he knows that he is able to take care of Jen now.

“Welcome, son in law Yoo…!” said Jen’s mother.

Jen’s sister gave Changsoo a hug and Mr Park shook Changsoo’s hand.

“Welcome to our home, son…”

Jen felt so happy that he was being welcomed into the home like never before. Jen was delighted because her dear Changsoo was being accepted into her family and Changsoo was happy too, if not more.

“Thank you father, mother……” Changsoo thanked Jen’s parents and he also thanked her sister too.

Changsoo was comfortably eating all the food that Jen’s mother made specially for him and he was telling Jen’s family about James and how he is doing.

James told Changsoo that he will be coming to Korea when Jen and Chang will be getting married.

Changsoo wanted to tell Mr Park in private that he’s planning to propose to Jen and he wanted his blessing and also his advice.

The women of the house were wondering what Changsoo and Mr. Park were talking about in private.

“Treat my little girl with a lot of love, Changsoo…”

“Don’t worry, sir….”

“Call me father now….”

“Yes…father….don’t worry…I will treat Jen like the princess that she is….”

Changsoo also let Mr. Park know that both of his parents fully accepted Jen and even his father approves of his relationship with Jen.

Once Changsoo was done talking with Mr. Park, Jen’s sister, couldn’t help but to ask the father what the two men were talking about.

“I can’t tell you, it’s private…” Mr Park said while clearing his throat. Changsoo wanted to make this a secret and he told Mr Park not to tell anybody.

Jen was curious about what her boyfriend and her father were talking about but they were both smiling so she thought it must be something good.

The next day arrived and everyone at Yumin Corp looked very happy because everything was going so well for everyone.

Jen was nervous because she was invited to Changsoo’s house to have a formal dinner with his family. She will be having dinner with Changsoo, both of his parents, his two silly older brothers and their wives.

“I know you are worried babe, don’t worry they will love you…trust me..”

Changsoo knew that Jen was worried about the family dinner she was invited to. Jen was professional as always but Changsoo was able to read her from the back of his head. That’s how much he loved her.

“Honey…..I know….but I can’t help it.”

Then Changsoo went over to Jen and kissed her. He lifted her up and kissed her again.

“Give me a smile then.”

Jen smiled cheerfully with her pearly whites showing.

“That a girl…”

Changsoo patted Jen’s head like when they first met and fell in love.

Everything at the office was going well. Yumin company’s stocks went up big time. The American company representatives came in the morning to sign the contract so everything was a done deal. Taejin group’s Chairman Jang came and apologized to Chairman Yoo himself and Taejin group’s Jang told Chairman of Yumin that he will do everything in his power to make Yumin one of the best companies not just in Korea but in the world!

Lawyer Go is a permanent Lawyer for Yumin Corp and he was in charge of dealing with one of the biggest cases for Yumin and he is proving himself to be a genius.

Joongi was promoted to a higher position, Yoonha decided to be a business woman that brings profit to both Yumin and Taejin respectively.

Jiyi still works at the supermarket but she was promoted to be one of the secretaries for one of the most important divisions of Yumin Corp.

Changsoo is now the second in command after his father, Chairman Yoo. Changsoo is the CEO of Yumin corp and his two brothers have been demoted to being directors and chiefs of their respective departments. 

Jen is still Changsoo’s secretary but not as Director Yoo’s secretary but CEO Yoo Changsoo’s secretary.

Jen was loved and respected by everyone in Yumin because Jen is the main person that changed Changsoo’s life and without her he would still be aimlessly just meeting nothing but gold diggers that are not a help to him at all.

Jen was sitting on the passenger’s seat and she was nervous. It’s not like it’s her first time meeting his parents but she was still nervous.

“Babe….don’t be nervous…my parents love you, you should know that by now…”

“But your brothers….and their wives…..”

“Don’t worry too much about them….”

Changsoo kissed Jen on the cheeks to assure her that everything is gonna be fine.

Changsoo held Jen’s hand and he led her to his house by holding her hands gently.

Before heading in, Changsoo gave Jen a fat kiss and reassured her again.

“Don’t worry babe, they will love you!”

Jen and Changsoo were holding hands while heading into the Yoo family house. This was Jen’s first time ever visiting Changsoo’s family home so it felt really strange to her.

Changsoo’s mom made sure to ask Changsoo what Jen likes to eat and such so she and the maid could make all of her favorite food. Changsoo’s mom found out that Jen loves pasta so the table was full of pasta dishes and some traditional Korean dishes as well.

“Welcome to our home sweetie.”

“Hello, mother!”

Changsoo’s mother really likes Jen, she liked her from the beginning even if she was trying to get her boy to marry Yoonha. 

“Mom, I’m gonna show Jen around the house.”

“Okay…..stay out of trouble…..”

Changsoo gave her a grin and took Jen into his room. Changsoo’s father, his brothers and their wives were in their rooms getting ready to come down to the dining room to have a family dinner together.

Changsoo wanted to make out with Jen in his room but Jen felt it was very inappropriate to do so.

Jen looked at all the awards he’d gotten over the years and there was a childhood photo of him nicely framed on one of the bookshelves near his bed. Jen couldn’t help but to smile then Changsoo stood behind her and wrapped his arms around her. 

Jen couldn’t help but to feel the warmth coming from Changsoo’s arms. Jen felt like she was living in some beautiful fairytale that she used to read as a little child, this whole thing felt unrealistic. 

Jen was just a regular girl that was able to score a prince charming for herself, although that was never her intention on the surface anyways.

“I love you babe…..”

Changsoo hugged her from behind.

“Babe….you have a naughty mind…did you really think I would do that kind of stuff here?” Changsoo teased Jen and Jen cutely hit his chest….

“No….!”

Jen was pouting and Changsoo thought it was so adorable. Changsoo couldn’t believe that this was happening, he never thought that he would just fall in love with one girl…..

Changsoo was a very promiscuous man at one point and he enjoyed living that way or he thought he did and he thought it was gonna be like that for him in all eternity, until he met Jen.

Changsoo was hugging Jen from behind and kissing her neck and then all of a sudden they both heard a woman’s voice, it was his mother.

“Changsoo! Jen! Dinner is ready! And everyone is here!

“Honey, your mother is calling us.”

“Oh I know…but I want to be with you like this for a little while longer babe…”

“I don’t want your mom to misunderstand us, I don’t want her to think that we are doing something we shouldn’t be…..”

Jen was gonna say more but Changsoo interrupted her.

“We are not little children you know….we are not even teenagers…we are grown adults….what can they do if they see me holding you like this…..”

Jen was blushing and she couldn’t look Changsoo in the eyes as if they are back to stage one.

“Changsoo! Jen! Dinner is ready!”

“We shouldn’t let your brothers and their sisters wait for us…..”

“Oh yea….haha…let’s get going…”

“Coming mother!”

Both Jen and Changsoo went downstairs to have dinner with the family.

Jen was a little nervous but Changsoo held her hand as they walked downstairs and that made her feel much better.

Jen tried her best to mind her manners at the table because she is eating with Changsoo’s parents, his two brothers and their wives too.

Changsoo was holding Jen’s hand underneath the table and the dinner table was quiet for a while until Jen broke the silence.

“Thank you Chairman Yoo, Ms Yoo, and I also thank the two brothers and their wives……thank you very much for inviting me to such a wonderful family dinner.”

Changsoo’s mom told her that she didn’t need to mention it and she decided to ask her if she is okay with the food on the table.

“Sweetie, Changsoo told me you like pasta…”

“Yes, ma’am I do…thank you….”

Changsoo’s father decided to say something.

“I’m so glad that you are by Changsoo’s side … .thanks to you he is not aimless anymore…”

Changsoo’s two brothers were silent because they felt guilty for treating their younger brother that way and his brothers’ wives seemed to be remorseful as well.

“T–ha–nk you….” said the oldest brother.

“Oh don’t mention it.” said Jen while smiling at Changsoo’s oldest brother.

“You changed my brother a lot…” The other older brother decided to add.

Changsoo’s brothers’ wives smiled and nodded saying that they agree to the fact that Jen changed Changsoo big time.

Changsoo was so happy because he was getting along with everyone for once, they never really ate dinner harmoniously as a family like this in ages.

Jen and the Yoo family were getting along quite well and Changsoo was so happy because of this.

The dinner with the Yoo family went well for Jen, it was a success. Changsoo drove Jen home and she was laying in bed with a big grin on her face. Jen was very nervous about eating dinner with his family for the first time but everything went well so she was very happy about that.

After Changsoo drove her home and came back home, he went straight to bed because he wanted to dream about her already. Changsoo had a lot going on in his mind because he wanted to come up with a plan of how to propose to her. All he knew was the fact that he’s gonna be proposing to her at one of those fancy 5 star hotels.

Changsoo managed to fall asleep and as soon as he woke up he made reservations to this nice hotel, it was one of those super famous five star hotels that everyone has heard of before.

Changsoo wanted to surprise her so he took a day off to prepare everything. Changsoo asked his two brothers and Lawyer Go to help him out while he is gonna be out for the day.

Changsoo went to the jewelry shop to buy Jen a nice ring and he also went to get some fancy balloons, a card and a few other things to decorate their table at the hotel.

Jen was at the office alone without Director Yoo, she was really worried about him. She hasn’t seen him all day. He hasn’t come into work, she tried calling him but he did not answer any of her calls. 

“How strange….”

Jen began to worry because she felt like Changsoo was ignoring him.

Jen managed to take care of all the important duties for the day but after that she just couldn’t focus on her work anymore, because of Changsoo.

Jen was about to call Lawyer Go, Changsoo’s brothers, Chairman Yoo, Yoonha, Joongi…anybody that possibly knows of his whereabouts.

Jen was about to call Lawyer Go first but Changsoo beat her to it.

“Babe…it’s me…..”

“I’m so mad at you right now!”

“Sorry honey…I was busy!”

“Busy?! Were you hanging out with your old flings behind my back?!”

“Oh no….it’s nothing like that sweetheart…”

“Uh huh…sure! Bastard!”

Changsoo has never seen Jen this irritated before and he found it to be kinda cute, he loves it whenever he gets to see a new side to his girl.

“Babe…I’ll explain everything…..can you come to the Hilton…”

“Hilton? You mean, Hilton hotel?”

“Yes….”

“Why?”

“Just come babe…..I’ll be waiting at the restaurant there…..”

Before Jen could say anything Changsoo just hung up.

Jen had no idea what was happening. The hotel wasn’t too far away from the company so she decided to take a stroll..she needed the exercise and she needed an excuse to clear her head and the best way to do that is to take a walk.

Jen packed up her bag and headed out of the office then she walked slowly over to the hotel restaurant.

Jen was finally there, she was finally in front of the hotel. She took a deep breath and walked slowly over to the hotel restaurant and she saw Changsoo sitting at one of the tables. It stood out because of the balloons and colorful decorations all around the table.

“What’s all this?” Jen asked, confused.

Jen thought Changsoo was playing a practical joke on her.

“Babe….have a seat.”

Jen carefully took a seat and looked at Changsoo with confused eyes.

Changsoo put one of his hands on his pocket and took out a nice box, it was a box with a ring inside it. It was a gold ring with a sapphire gem in the middle and a few pink diamonds around it.

Changsoo got on his knees and  kinda gave Jen this strange feeling and she started to suspect something coming but she didn’t want to disappoint herself so she decided to keep calm as much as she was able to.

“Jenny Park, will you marry me?”

Changsoo asked Jen earnestly while he was on his knees.

Jen didn’t know what to say, she didn’t know what to do….

Jen was speechless, she felt like this was all a dream, Jen thought she was dreaming all of this. This whole thing felt like something she would read out of a children’s fairytale story or something.

“Really?”

“Yes…really….”

“I want you to marry me Jenny Park…” Changsoo said with a firm but gentle voice.

Jen started to cry uncontrollably and she went closer to Changsoo to hug him. She held him tightly and gave him the answer he wanted.

“Of course…honey! I will marry you! I want to be your wife!”

Changsoo lifted Jen’s chin up then he took out a handkerchief to wipe her tears down for her and said.

“You are such an adorable girl…”

Changsoo looked at Jen for a while, as if he was staring her down and he was in a staring contest which made Jen feel odd momentarily then he went for the lips.

Changsoo kissed Jen passionately while patting her head and Jen felt like the happiest girl in the whole wide world.

However, in Changsoo’s SIKCRET pad something was happening. As soon as Changsoo proposed to Jen, kissed her and she said yes to his proposal, something was beginning to shift, something strange was happening at Changsoo’s SIKCRET pad.

Changsoo’s pet kitten Brina disappeared from the SIKCRET pad. As soon as Jen said yes to Changsoo regarding his proposal, Kitten Brina was disappearing bit by bit and she completely evaporated like magic. 

After Jen said yes to Changsoo he decided to take her up to the hotel suite to have a party. He wanted to spend the rest of the evening together without anybody bothering them. 

Jen and Changsoo had a bottle of champagne. Once they drank a few glasses, they were buzzed enough to hold each other and share each other’s warmth.

“I love you Jen! I love you baby!

“I love you too Changsoo! I love you honey!”

Both Changsoo and Jen laid down on the bed and made sweet love till the break of dawn.

Changsoo has no idea that his kitten Brina disappeared from his SIKCRET pad…His plan was to take Jen over to the SIKCRET pad again after Jen says yes to his proposal but unfortunately, he will find out that his little kitten is gone…….
