Sailor Saturn, Hotaru Tomoe is the guardian of destruction and the last of the outer sailor guardians. Sailor Saturn is complicated and can be different things and at different times. She is reserved and stoic but also extremely perceptive and self motivated. Sailor Saturn and Hotaru Tomoe have different personalities with each other. Sailor Saturn is the embodiment of the dark, honest feelings that Hotaru feels in her heart. She has a fondness for destruction and chaos but is willing to make sacrifices for her friends.

I just couldn’t choose one Shikkie character to match up with Sailor Saturn: Hotaru Tomoe. Sailor Saturn is the embodiment of destruction and this kind of matches with King Jinheung because he wanted to destroy all the old ways of Shilla to bring in the new. Destruction equates to Death and Death equals to new things, new life, and things to turn a new leaf. So I guess in disregards they share some resemblance here.

Kings are at the top and often they are lonely because they have so much on their shoulders and just like King Jinheung of Shilla, Joeseon’s Crown Prince Lee Hwan was facing similar problems. He wanted to destroy the old ways that is making Joeson fall behind, he had a vision for his nation so in this regards he resembles Sailor Saturn: Hotaru Tomoe.

Sailor Saturn:Hotaru Tomoe as a lonely character and sometimes I feel that Go Yeonwoo is fighting the lonely fight. For one he lost his loved ones at a very young age and he was practically raised by his grandmother. There’s not much Yeonwoo can do for her but he has the attitude of the willingness to make sacrifices for his grandmother who is bedridden at a local hospital.

Last but not least Han Seonwoo was probably very lonely to be in love with his long time childhood friend and it’s not easy to be friend zoned for a long time but he makes sacrifices by suppressing his feelings so he won’t have to lose her altogether, if you love someone so much I guess it’s just natural to make that kind of sacrifice and bury your heart.
