Jen is dating Shikkie’s best friend Yoon Eunho’s son. Jen is only fifteen and she’s gonna be turning 16 soon. Jen’s daddy Shikkie was planning a sixteenth birthday party for her but when he found out that his little girl is dating his old friend’s son, he was in shock and didn’t know how to express this feeling of shock. 

“Daddy, I’m gonna go out today….”

“Where are you going? Are you going somewhere with your girlfriends..”

“No daddy, it’s a boy…”

“A boy?! Don’t you think you are a little too young for that?”

“Dad! Too young?” I know younger girls who already have boyfriends…!”

“But to me you are still my little girl….”

“Dad…this is embarrassing…I’m not a little girl anymore!”

“Okay…..but I want to see him … .bring him home…I have a lot of questions to ask him….”

“What would you want to say to him Dad?”

“You will find out … .and…I suggest that you change into something more appropriate, young lady!”

“Dad? Are you serious? You think this is inappropriate? I’m all covered up dad…now you sound like an old nagging mother…” Jen was just being a typical teenager.

Jen and Daddy Shikkie always got along from birth to not too long ago. People say this is the most awkward stage for young people and I guess Jen is just part of the statistics. Deep inside Shikkie is just scared of his little girl growing up to become a young woman. 

“Dad, I’m leaving now! I am late for my date and if he just leaves because I came late then this will all be your fault daddy!” Jen raised her voice at her dad, slammed the door and left.

Jen was never like this. She was always a sweetheart to her dad and also to her mom. Now as a teenager she still gets along with her mom but with her dad things have turned awkward for the two. 

Shikkie started missing the good old times when he and his daughter seemed so close. They used to do everything together. They used to cook together, play video games together, watch tv together, go out and play together and he used to take her to all kinds of fun and neat places. However, Jen doesn’t want to have anything to do with those things….Rather, she really doesn’t like hanging out with her dad anymore because she thinks that it’s so uncool to do so.

All of Jen’s girlfriends think she is crazy because so many of her friends envy Jen for having such a cool and handsome dad like Shikkie. So many of Jen’s friends have weird crushes on her father and that also makes her feel really uncomfortable.

Jen left and daddy Shikkie felt so sad, he was terrified that she was growing up to be a young woman. He decided to snap out of it cus he wanted to think of a great way to throw his baby girl a nice sweet 16th birthday party.

He thought the best way to do that is to talk to his wife Hyojoo about it. Hyojoo might be the strict one when it comes to academics and other things but she seems to be lenient about allowing her daughter to naturally grow up to become a young woman. She doesn’t mind her daughter having boyfriends as long as she tells them about it and also if it’s the right guy for her. Fathers tend to naturally have a hard time letting go of their daughters more than the mothers for the most part.

Shikkie thought having a teenage daughter is very hard. He has heard stories about it but didn’t realize that it was this much of a handful raising a girl growing up to be a woman. He felt like it was time to start talking to his wife about their Lil Jen. To them and especially to him Jen was still a little girl but to Jen she wanted to become a young woman and spread her wings.

Shikkie texted his wife who was still at work.

“Honey, I need to talk to you about little Jen, when are you coming home?….it’s very important.”

“We will talk when I get home dear……I will try to come home early tonight … .I will bring some dinner home…your favorite kind…..Spicy Chicken feet and Spicy rice cakes!”

“Okay honey…see you soon…^^” said Shikkie expressing his feelings through his words and some emojis.

Finally, Hyojoo arrived home with a bag full of spicy chicken feet and spicy rice cakes. These two spicy dishes have been Shikkie’s favorite since he was little and he still likes them very much at this point in his life. 

“Honey…..I’m home! I brought you some spicy chicken feet and your spicy rice cakes too!”

Hyojoo handed the bag full of spicy goodies to her hubby.

“Wow, thanks sweetheart.” Daddy Shikkie was upset just a little while ago cus of Jen but now he has turned into a happy kid with his favorite food since childhood.

“So honey….what did you want to talk to me about?”

“Are you okay with Jen having boyfriends?” Shikkie asked in a bothered tone of voice and he was very curious to see what his wife would say about this.

“Well…I think she is a big girl now so it is natural for her to have boyfriends…..”

“Don’t you think she’s too young? She is only 15…”

“Honey, she is almost 16…….”

“That’s still a baby…” Shikkie said, trying to defend his action for being protective of his little girl.

“Honey…they do say that fathers are more protective of their daughters, especially when they are in the process of growing up, so it’s natural for you to behave this way but don’t be too obsessed about her boyfriends…cus if you do…..she might get really angry with you…” Hyojoo said out of concern but she knows about these things cus she is a professor and she reads a lot about child development. 

“Really?” Shikkie asked while eating one of the spicy chicken feets on the plate. He was chewing on the meat so angrily that it worried Hyojoo a bit.

“Are you upset dear?” Hyojoo asked while patting his head.

“No…it’s just I am worried about her…I don’t want her to date the wrong guy and ruin her life…I have heard plenty of stories like that before…”

Hyojoo had a bit of one of the spicy rice cakes with a fork and after she was done chewing the rice cake she said.

“Honey, it just means that you care…that makes you a good dad…some girls wished that they had this kind of attention from their daddys…they end up not getting that attention so they look for it elsewhere…and that’s how they end up with the wrong man who eventually ruins them.

“Thanks babe…I think I needed that encouragement…for a moment there I thought I was being a horrible father and that’s the last thing I want to be to our little Jen … .to me she will always be my little Jen…” The dad with a now teenage daughter couldn’t help but to reveal how he feels to his own wife. 

Hyojoo came over to Shikkie and held him and said. “Don’t worry…you are a great dad and a great husband…you just gotta take it easy a little…..”

“But…the thing that upsets me even more is the fact that she is dating my friend Yoon Eunho’s son….I don’t know if I can accept that….”

“Yeah…dating a friend’s kid can be a tough situation but I trust our lil Jen…well she is not so little anymore……Either way…you should try your best to trust her……”

“I will try babe, but I don’t think this will be easy for me…..I am kinda scared to let her go….”

Shikkie put his hand on his forehead, looking like he was about to cry.

“Oh yeah…..didn’t you say you were gonna throw her a sweet 16 party?”

“Yeah babe…but I don’t know what would be a good idea….I want to make it special for her…I want to make her feel like a princess….a real princess.” Shikkie said while sighing because he was scared that no matter what he does she won’t appreciate him. Most fathers go through this thinking that their daughters would hate their dads for life for something so petty. 

“I’m thinking that we should do a little quinceanera for her. Quincenra is generally a Latin thing but who says that we can’t do it just cus were Asians?” Hyojoo said.

“Yeah…I remember seeing Jen when she was a little girl, she seemed  fascinated by Quinscenera….remember? We got invited to one of them when she was really little? She looked like she wanted to be that girl who was turning 15…” Shikkie said while reminicssing about the past.

“But honey…now that I think about it Jen is turning 16 not 15 so…in that case it wouldn’t be quinceanera cus Quince means 15 in Spanish…” Hyojoo wasn’t an educated woman for nothing.

“Oh…we got a linguist here…” Shikkie teased Hyojoo..She wasn’t a professor for nothing at such a young age. 

“Well…honey…I was thinking that we should do our own version of it. It would be a sweet 16 party with a little added twist of the quinceanera…” Hyojoo said while smiling at her husband. 

“That is a great idea … .but ……..what should I do about Jen’s boyfriend…I have a feeling that I’m gonna ask him a whole bunch of questions…..” Shikkie couldn’t help but to go back to that topic again.

“Just go easy on the kid……You were once a young boy like him right? Have some compassion….”

“Right…”

Jen was out with her boyfriend, Yoon Minsoo. She was enjoying her date with Minsoo but she just couldn’t get her dad off of her mind.

Jen and Minsoo were out at the mall just enjoying a normal teenager date.

“Jen, what’s wrong? You alright?”

“Not really….I feel kinda weird today….”

Minsoo was a good looking guy, half of him kinda looked like Yoon Eun Ho, her dad’s friend while the other half kinda looked like her own dad so that was a bit strange.

“What’s wrong Jen? You gotta tell me girl…”

“Listen…my dad wants to meet you and he is gonna ask tons of questions….my dad is so weird…he is annoying the heck out of me…” Jen said in a frustrated and annoyed voice.

“Why worry about that? I am ready to face your dad…”

“Good luck with that Minsoo because my dad will go to town on you … .just be prepared….” Jen said while rolling her eyes.

Minsoo was able to tell that Jen loved her dad a lot, he was able to see it but Jen didn’t want to see that. Right now to Jen her dad is the enemy but this is normal for most growing teenage girls.

Meanwhile, Hyojoo and Shikkie were looking into all the details for Jen’s sweet 16 party that they are gonna throw for her. Shikkie was gonna do it all by himself initially but he thought it would be better if his wife helps him with this since she knows how to deal with a growing teenage daughter better than him.

Shikkie and Hyojoo were shopping for Jen’s dress, they were window shopping for now. They just wanted to see what kind of designs are available and what Jen might possibly like. Thankfully, Hyojoo knew Jen’s size so they didn’t have to worry about measuring her or taking her to a dress shop to have her try on the dress herself.

“I will take you home…” said Jen’s boyfriend.

Jen’s boyfriend Minsoo took her home. Jen came home earlier than normal so both of her parents were a little caught off guard. Also, Minsoo came into the house and Mama Hyojoo welcomed him while Papa Shikkie felt a little awkward around Teen Jen’s boyfriend.

“Oh, hi sweetheart…..and who is this handsome young man?” said Mama Hyojoo teasingly. 

“It’s uh….my boyfriend? Mom….his name is Yoon Minsoo.”

“Oh so you are Eunho’s kid?”

“Yes, ma’am…..”

Papa Shikkie was about to ask him tons of questions but Mama Hyojoo put a stop to that almost immediately.

The dad was constantly clearing his throat anxiously, he made all kinds of preparations to give the boy a hard time but his wife put a stop to it all so he was feeling rather uncomfortable and bothered.

“So……is your dad…alright with you seeing Jen, my baby girl?” Shikkie asked the boy nicely and politely, with a little bit of sarcasm.

“Yes, father knows about it and he seems to be okay with it…” Minsoo smiled.

“Re–ally?” Shikkie asked with his eyebrows lifted up.

“Yes, sir….my father really likes Jen…” Jen’s boyfriend was very confident

Papa Shikkie didn’t know what to say, he felt like he just lost to his friend because he felt as if Eunho had a bigger heart than him which he didn’t want to admit. The thing is Shikkie really cares for his daughter but instead he just comes off as a super obsessed father. I guess having a daughter is different from a man with a boy. 

“Jen, give daddy a kiss….” Shikkie decided to play it differently. He couldn’t help but to compete with Jen’s boyfriend but he had to use a different method. Instead of asking Minsoo all kinds of interrogating types of questions he decided to compete with him in a different way.

“Dad…ewwww….teenage girls don’t kiss their dads…you are weird…!” Jen said. 

Shikkie was very hurt by this. Lil Jen used to love it when she was on his lap playing games with him, she used to also love it when he used to kiss her on the cheeks but she doesn’t even want to do that anymore. 

Mama Hyojoo was able to see how hurt her husband was but she realized that they need to have another chit chat because this is normal for  teen girls….They are daddy’s little girls before puberty but once puberty hits they grow further away from their dads and it’s not cus they don’t like them but its cus they just need space when they are growing into womanhood.

“Daddy, we’re gonna go to our bedroom now..” Jen said confidently.

Daddy Shikkie started to feel very insecure. He was worried that Minsoo, her boyfriend, would try to do something to her.

Hyojoo knew that her husband was bothered and He looked like he was gonna stop them from going into her bedroom but she gave him some hand signals saying that he doesn’t need to get overly worried about the two youngsters.

Jen and Minsoo went upstairs to Jen’s bedroom. They weren’t planning to do anything inappropriate. They were good kids but Daddy Shikkie was expecting the worst but then this is a natural thing for fathers with teenage girls.

Papa Shikkie was trying his best to control his fiery state of mind and that’s where Hyojoo came in.

“Honey…calm down…I know you are trying your best to keep your cool but you are bothered by that young boy…..I mean, you had a time like that back in your youth…give the boy a chance…I think he seems like a nice kid….my instincts are never wrong…I tend to see it from miles away if someone was trying to harm my family.”

“You are such a wise woman…I’m so glad I married you.” Shikkie said while kissing his wife on the lips but gently.

“Honey…we should look into Jen’s dress…..and other things like Cake……Hmm…what else do we need to make her 16th birthday party the best?” Hyojoo asked.

“I’ve read on the internet that picking a theme is also a good thing…so we don’t necessarily have to do the cake and dress thing…” Shikkie said remembering what he read earlier about good sweet 16th birthday ideas.

“How about we do a hotel theme? With that Jen would be able to still dress up and we can bring caterers for fancy food, drinks and desserts…..Also we would be able to all dress up like we originally planned.” Hyojoo said while smiling, feeling smart.

“Babe…you are such an idea maker! Muah!…..I hope Jen will know what I’m going through just for her….”

“She will honey…… .don’t be too obsessed with that….I think right now the priority is this sweet 16th birthday celebration that’s coming up? Oh I just thought about something…..You should buy her a ring…..not on the ring finger for marriage but on one of the fingers for the right hand, along with the dress, a tiara, some nice shoes…..and we could also get a limo for her…….This is why we should go with the hotel theme…what do you think honey?” Hyojoo said a mouthful but she had to get it all out there before she forgets. Mama Hyojoo wants to make Jen’s sweet 16th party just as special as Papa Shikkie. 

Papa Shikkie and Mama Hyojoo were looking at some catalogs and magazines on the internet. They were thinking about ordering a few things on the internet and buying the rest at the stores at the mall.

Papa Shikkie was curious about what his daughter was up to in her bedroom.

“I wonder what she is doing with Minsoo up there?” Shikkie asked Hyojoo with curious and nervous eyes.

“She is fine…Jen is a big girl now…She can’t be daddy’s little girl forever…she’s gonna grow up to be a young woman whether you like it or not honey…..”

Jen and Minsoo were in her bedroom just talking about this and that. Minsoo gave Jen a soft kiss on the lips but nothing too crazy.

“I hope your dad won’t kill me…he is kinda scary…”

“Minsoo…you think my dad is scary? Hump! When my girlfriends come over they are busy checking him out … .so gross…!”

“I’m a guy and I even think that your father is a good looking man. If I was a little older and gay and if your dad wasn’t a married man, I’d think I would even ask him out…!”

Jen started to roll her eyes and Minsoo knew that he was in trouble.

“Oh…sorry…Jen…I was just kidding…I was trying to prove a point … ..that your dad is a good looking dude so I could understand your girlfriends sentiments…hahahaha!”

“That’s fine….Let’s go back downstairs….my dad might have weird ideas if we don’t…”

“You are right, I don’t want your father to hate me….I think that’s the last thing I want from him….your dad hating me…”

Minsoo really likes Jen. It’s not love yet because they are too young to talk about love in their romantic relationship but it’s certain that Minsoo really digs Jen and he doesn’t want to jeopardize his relationship with her by making his father think of him a certain way. 

Jen and Minsoo held hands while coming down the stairs. Hyojoo was proud of her because she was blossoming into a beautiful young woman.

“What were you two love birds doing?” Hyojoo teased Jen and Minsoo that were blushing as they were approaching them.

Jen hugged her mom and she hugged her back and she patted her on the head. Shikkie didn’t like it whenever Hyojoo did that because he felt like the patting on the head should be only done by him.

Shikkie decided to talk to Minsoo alone, man to man. 

“Let’s go to the other living room and have a chit chat….” said Daddy Shikkie.

“Yes, sir…” Minsoo didn’t mind talking with Jen’s dad, he didn’t seem mean nor unreasonable either.

Jen and her mom were bonding while Shikkie went to have a man to man talk with Minsoo, Jen’s boyfriend.

Daddy Shikkie and Minsoo were in the other living room and Jen’s dad said…

“Treat my little girl with respect……do you understand? I really care about her and she is my life….”

Shikkie patted Minsoo on the shoulder, almost treating him as if he was his son too.

“Yes, sir…I will…don’t worry about it…” Minsoo said with assurance. Most boys his age would have reacted differently but this young man was responsible and respectful as well and Shikkie really liked that about him.

“Sir, I want to be more like you…..I look up to you……I want to be the kind of man that Jen wants me to be and I would need your help…Mr.Park…”

“Come and talk to me when you need advice…..and make sure to not go against curfew,,,” Daddy Shikkie patted the boy on the shoulder again. The kid couldn’t help but to feel his magnetic personality. 

The two men headed to where the two ladies were. 

“What were you two boys talking about? Did you do some male bonding?” Asked Hyojoo teasingly.

“Yeah hahaha…what about you two girls?” asked Shikkie.

“We bonded well too….. We girls are good with things like that…” Hyojoo teased.

Shikkie had his arm around Minsoo and Jen was happy to see her dad and her boyfriend getting along even if she really didn’t want to admit to that.

Hyojoo and Shikkie wanted the birthday party to be a surprise so they both had to kick Jen and Minsoo out of the house.

“Hey…don’t you two kids have somewhere to be?” Asked Hyojoo.

“Why mom?” Jen asked. 

Minsoo caught on really quick. 

“Jen, let’s go for an ice cream date…….or we can go to the local cafe and just hang out there and meet some people…..” Minsoo tried to make up some excuses so the parents could have some alone time together. 

“Okay…whatever you say….” Jen said nonchalantly.

“I’ll be back dad…” Jen said with an attitude still.

“I will bring her back on time, Mr Park.” Minsoo said loudly as he was closing the door.

“Take your time! I trust you!” Shikkie said, talking loudly back to Minsoo who was already out the door.

The Mom and Dad of Jen decided to use this time wisely. They quickly ordered a dress, the shoes, the tiara, some jewelry, expensive boxes of chocolates, a giant teddy bear with a special message on it  and even some nice adjustable cruiser bike she always wanted.

They called and made reservations for the Limo, and a five star fancy hotel. 

“Honey, don’t forget all the people on our contact list. All of our relatives, friends, colleagues, and even down to the acquaintances.” Said Hyojoo with an innocent smile but in a lecturing tone of voice.

“Okay…got it babe….” Shikkie got the instruction to make all the calls and invited everyone. He called their immediate family members, relatives, the Wooga Uncles, their friends, colleagues, and the co workers…..

The couple with a teenage daughter were waiting around for the items that they ordered a few days ago, they were both anxious to receive them so they would be able to set them up properly.

Jen was wondering why her parents were constantly checking their status on amazon.

“Mom, dad….what are you doing?”

“Oh…nothing….” Shikkie closed his ipad real quick. Hyojoo was giggling awkwardly out of nervousness. They wanted this surprise to be an actual surprise. Jen felt like her parents were behaving strangely but didn’t want to pry into it.

“Okay…mom…dad…you guys are so weird…” Then she went back up the stairs while listening to some music on her earphones. 

Today was the day for the packages to come according to the tracking info. As soon as Hyojoo was about to say something, They heard the doorbell ring.

“Package!” Said the delivery man.

The two parents were so delighted that the items that they ordered were finally delivered.

Hyojoo and Shikkie brought the boxes full of stuff that they ordered and they started to unbox them. 

“Are they all here?” Shikkie asked.

“It sure looks like it….” Hyojoo answered.

“We will tell Jen about the dress on the day of the party…….we will surprise her then…” said Shikkie in a very excited but anxious voice. 

The day finally arrived. It was Jen’s sweet 16th  birthday. Everything was fully prepared to the nines. 

Hyojoo went upstairs to have Jen try on the dress they bought for her from the internet.

It was a long and fluffy blue dress with the right amount of shiny gems on it. 

“Wow you look gorgeous!” Hyojoo said.

“Mom…..were you guys trying to surprise me on my special day?” Jen wanted to cry. She tried to stop her tears from flowing but her mother said…

“Jen….you can cry…..you deserve that much….you are growing into a young woman now……”

“Mom…..”

Jen and Hyojoo, the beautiful mother and daughter were bonding while Daddy Shikkie was wondering what was going on upstairs.

“You should give your daddy a hug too…he’s been missing your hugs sweetheart…”

“Really?”

“Your dad needs reassurance…he thinks you hate him….”

“Mom…I don’t hate him…in fact I love him…I love him a lot but it’s really hard for me because I’m a teenage girl…..I really don’t understand the psychology behind it…maybe it’s the hormones…either way I act like I hate him and he annoys the heck out of me but I love daddy….”

“Well…then…tell…him…tell him that you love him…not just tell him but also show him…..” Hyojoo hugged her little girl and patted her on the head while giving her pecs too.

As Hyojoo was done dressing up his teenage little girl daddy Shikkie came up to see what the ladies were up to. 

“What are you two up to? I was wondering what you guys were doing up here…!” Daddy felt very left out because he wanted to be a part of this too.

“Jen…I think you should talk to dad…spend some time with him … .I’ll leave you two alone…” said Hyojoo and left the room so Jen could tell him what she told her a few minutes ago.

“May I?” As Hyojoo walked out Shikkie closed the door and walked towards his baby girl who is turning 16 today.

“Yeah…daddy…” Jen put her head down because she is feeling bad and guilty for everything she had said to her dad and the way she acted towards him as of recently.

“I’m sorry daddy….”

Jen looked mesmerizingly beautiful in her blue dress with silver gems on it. Jen really did look like a little princess. To Shikkie, Jen was always gonna be his pretty little princess, his lovely baby girl.

“Why are you sorry baby?”

“Because…I’ve been ignoring you…I’ve been mean to you……and giving you attitudes….but dad….I really do love you….you gotta remember I am a teenage girl…it’s normal for teenage girls to want to distance themselves with their dads…I am not the only one…my friends do it too…”

Shikkie went over to his little daughter and patted her on the head and said.

“Sweetie…I understand…..I guess daddy got a little greedy but I think your mom is right…..it’s normal for young girls your age to be this way towards their fathers…”

“Come here sweetheart…” The dad said.

“Oh daddy…”

Shikkie held his little teen daughter while patting her on the head and planting kisses on her head as well…

“I love you babygirl…and happy sweet 16…..we have a party for you today…..”

“Really?”

“Yes, sweetie.”

Jen’s dress looked lovely but Shikkie realized that something was missing and…it was her tiara…

“We need to get you your tiara, your high heels, and the white gloves we ordered…..your outfit isn’t complete until then….let me go get your mother….”

Daddy Shikkie went downstairs to get the rest of the props to make Princess Jen complete for her sweet 16!

Both Jen’s mommy and daddy came back upstairs to her room with the rest of the props.

“There you go honey….” Hyojoo put the tiara on Jen’s head.

“Wow…so beautiful….!” Shikkie said while looking proud of his little girl growing up.

“Turn around for me…” said Hyojoo.

Jen turned around and showed off her dress and her princess-like beauty.

“I think we are all ready, don’t you think so honey?” Hyojoo asked her husband.

“Yes….I think it’s just about that time….” Shikkie said.

They all went downstairs to the living room and it was fully decorated although the real party isn’t gonna be here, it’s gonna be celebrated at the fancy five star hotel.

Jen’s mom put makeup on her and also did her hair. She made sure that her little girl put on the high heels they bought for her from an internet shoe store. Once Jen was a full blown princess now both of the parents were in awe of her.

“Wow…you are beautiful!” Both of the parents said in unison.

“That’s my baby girl…” said the dad.

“Oh yea, we also have to call the girls…” said Mama Hyojoo.

“Girls? What girls?” The dad asked.

“You know…Jen’s girlfriends…..” Hyojoo answered.

Jen had many girlfriends … .Homegirls and these young girls have a crush on Jen’s dad cus he is such a good looking man. For an older man he is still pretty hot, Jen’s friends think that he is hotter than boys their own age. Jen loved her friends but she hated whenever they brought their crush on her dad, it really grossed her out. She feels like they should have crushes on someone their own age.

Hyojoo called several of Jen’s really good girlfriends to come to the party as well. 

Jen’s parents felt like the princess was ready to be seen in front of many guests so they called the limo to come and pick them up to go to the really fancy hotel.

Hyojoo and Shikkie went up to change real quick before they hop on the limo before it even gets to their house.

Shikkie was in a nice black tuxedo, white dress shirt to go with it and a black bow tie. He put on some shiny black shoes to match the outfit. Hyojoo put on a nice evening gown to compliment her daughter’s fluffy and shiny blue dress. Hyojoo and Jen both checked themselves out in the mirror and didn’t have to fix themselves at all because they looked perfect without any blemishes.

The three family members made sure to smell nice so they sprayed some fragrance that made them smell great.

Hyojoo remembered something. She made sure to grab the ring, the flowers, the teddy bear, fancy chocolates and the adjustable cruiser bike.

“What are they?” The dad asked.

“What kind of dad are you? Did you forget already?

“Oh…yea…the gifts….” Shikkie realized that they bought some gifts for Jen as well.

“You ladies look perfect…let’s get going…” said Papa Shikkie.

“The Limo is here…!” Shouted the dad.

Jen’s parents let the princess hop on first then they got on.

They locked the house door and made sure their home was secure before they headed to the hotel.

Once they got to the hotel so many guests for Jen were there. 

Jen’s friends were there and checking out Jen’s dad and the Wooga uncles were there too.

The Wooga uncles all came up to Jen and made a comment on how fabulous she looks.

“Wow, this is little Jen?” Seojoon asked.

“Oh hi…uncle Seojoon!” Jen said with a smile.

Uncle Wooshik, Uncle Peakboy and Uncle Tae all came over and gave Jen a huge hug.

Uncle Seojoon then said…

“Let me hug my god-daughter…it’s my turn guys…” said Seojoon.

“Happy sweet 16…!” said Seojoon.

“Thanks Uncle!”

“Wow you have gotten so big … .you’ll be as tall as me soon…” said Tae.

“Uncle Tae, you are so funny as usual…!”

“Happy sweet 16 Jen!” said Tae.

“Wow, you are no longer a little girl anymore…!” said Peakboy and Wooshik at the same time.

“No…I am a big girl now…actually a young woman hehehe.” Jen giggled and the uncles giggled back.

“Happy Sweet 16 little one…” said Uncle Peakboy.

“No…she is not little anymore…..hehehe…Well, happy sweet 16 Jen!” Said uncle Wooshik.

Everyone brought gifts for Jen and they were all set on the long table at the end of the ballroom.

Everyone all greeted each other and hugged each other.

Jen got to open all the presents while so many people were congratulating her.

Jen was dancing with her boyfriend and her boyfriend saw her dad just looking at his growing baby girl dotingly and he felt it was her father’s turn.

“Sir…” Jen’s boyfriend put his hand out gesturing that her dad could take over now.

“May I?”

“Yes, sir….you can have her for now…” Jen’s boyfriend smiled and let her dad take the dance floor.

“May I have this dance, my princess.” Daddy Shikkie asked Princess Jen very sweetly and politely.

“Daddy….” Jen was happy to see her dad. Jen’s eyes were shining so bright with a sunny bright smile that Shikkie hasn’t seen in a long time.

“Hey, sweetheart…” His eyes were glowing just as his daughter’s eyes.

Jen and her dad danced the waltz together while Jen was in his daddy’s arms. Shikkie was the first man she’s ever known and she is so proud to have him as her dad.

Jen and her daddy Shikkie were holding hands and were dancing at this beautiful hotel ballroom. Jen was thankful that her parents, especially her dad making her princess like dream come true. 

“Daddy, I have something to tell you…”

“Yes, sweetheart..”

“I love you and thanks for this sweet 16th birthday party!” Then Jen kissed her father on the cheeks.

“Daddy, I’m sorry…I can only kiss you on the cheeks now…”

“It’s okay….I am happy that you are happy and on the cheeks..? That’s plenty…” Jen was teary eyed and her dad used his nice and long thumb to wipe her dropping tear.

Everyone was cheering and started taking pictures of Shikkie  and the daddy’s little girl. Hyojoo was happy to see her daughter and her husband loving each other again.

Then all of a sudden, the confetti was being thrown. Jen made a wish and blew out the candles. Jen’s dad helped cut the cake and he also cut the large three story cake into small pieces and handed them out to everyone. Jen opened all the gifts she got from various guests and they were all cool things. 

Hyojoo was gesturing to get the gifts they got for her which were: A teddy bear, some flowers, an adjustable cruiser bike, some fancy chocolates and a ring.

Shikkie thought that he should get the ring first.

“Sweetheart, I bought you a ring…..I am gonna put it on your right hand index finger … ..nobody will take away my little girl…I love you sweetheart..” Then he kissed his little girl on the forehead. 

“Oh my gosh…I love it…this is a beautiful dad!” Jen kissed her father on the cheeks again. Hyojoo helped her husband bring over the teddy bear, chocolates and flowers. The teddy bear had a message on it saying.

YOU ARE THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. I WILL LOVE YOU AND CHERISH YOU FOREVER

HAPPY SWEET 16, THANK YOU FOR GROWING UP TO BE A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMAN

Jen gave both of her parents huge hugs this time while everyone was clapping and cheering for them. 

“I love you mom! I love you dad!” Jen, mom, and dad gave each other a group hug. The Wooga uncles were so happy that they even gave each other a huge hug while congratulating their god-daughter.

Jen’s parents got her a cruiser bike she always wanted and it had a big giant bow on it with a giant red heart along with the sweet 16 sticker. 

Daddy decided to give Jen a ride. Daddy was in the front seat while he put Jen in the back and gave her a ride around the big giant ball room.

“Thanks dad…this is such a great gift…I always wanted this! And it’s adjustable too..” 

Shikkie was so happy that his daughter was so happy. That’s all he wants from her, nothing more. He wants her to be healthy, and also he wants her to be around even when she gets married one day. 

All the guests said.

“Happy sweet 16 Jen!”

Jen was so happy, this was the most awesome sweet 16 party that any teenage girl could hope for. 

Jen ran over to her dad again and hugged him.

“Daddy I love you, I want to thank you again for this birthday party! I know it was your idea all along!”

“No problem sweetheart…I love you and you’ll always be a daddy’s little girl baby….”

The father and daughter hugged and everyone cheered while some festive music was being played. All the guests were dancing to the beautiful music as well. However, the spotlight was on the father and his little girl.
