Jen was lying in bed, she was thinking about all the good things that happened today. She looked down on her bedroom floor and there was that giant teddy bear Changie bought for her along with a bag of two bottles of wine….Jen was smiling and giggling to herself and she heard the door. The moment she looked up to see who it was, she realized that it was her mother.

“Jen dear……you are home late today…” Jen’s mother said in a suspicious voice.

Jen hurriedly hid all the stuff her boyfriend bought for her but it was too late cus her mom saw everything already.

“Jen…I saw everything……so are you dating your boss?”

Jen felt like she didn’t have to hide it any longer.

“Mom….you are right….I am dating my boss…” The moment Jen said that her sister came in and started to ask her tons of questions.

“Oh my gosh Jen! You are dating that womanizer, Director Yoo?” The sister asked in shock.

“Sis…..listen…he is no longer a womanizer….he is not the same person….”

“Really? People don’t change that easily and he was willing to change for you sis? I think you would be better off to just be into PHS instead.”

“Sis, I thought at least you would be supportive…..”

“I am…..I didn’t say you couldn’t date him and neither did mom…we just don’t want you to get hurt….We don’t want him to toy with your emotions.” Jen’s sis said trying her best to come off like a caring Big sister.

“Bring him over.” Jen’s mother said in her firm motherly voice.

“What? Bring him? Who?”

“You know…your boyfriend……Your boss…” said Jen’s big sis.

“You want me to invite Director Yoo to the house?”

“Yeah…..it should be fun…I want to tease that womanizer!”

“Sis! He is not a womanizer anymore!”

“You are defending him now? You must be in love Jen!”

Jen is blushing big time and both her mom and sister were able to see how obvious it was that she was in love with her boss. They thought it was cute so they couldn’t help but to tease her this way. 

“Invite him to dinner, Jen. He might not like the kind of food that us normal people eat but I still want to see this kid…” Jen’s mother said.

“Him? A kid? He is a grown man! Not a kid….and Mom…I want to go to sleep…I have to get up early to go to work tomorrow….!” Jen was trying to rush them out of the room because she wanted to text her man but he beat her to it. The mom and sister were leaving her room, realizing that Jen needs privacy. Changie texted her at the right time too and she was so happy to receive a text from her favorite man. 

“Is my baby asleep?”

“I’m about to…..”

“I miss you, do you miss me?”

“Of course Changsoo oppa…..we’ll see each other tomorrow anyways……oh by the way, my mom and my sister know about you now…they want to invite you to our house for dinner.”

Changsoo loves it every time Jen calls her oppa. She went from Director Yoo to Changsoo ssi, Changie to Changsoo oppa. Although Jen does still call Changsoo, Director Yoo because she still wants to remain professional while on duty at the office. 

“Goodnight, my baby…sweet dreams … .dream about me…… hope to see you there…”

“I’ll try Changie….hehe…”(*Smiley Emoji*)

Jen went to sleep all smiles and Changie was no different. Jen was excited about going to work tomorrow. She was already thinking about what to wear because she wanted to look pretty for him which is so unlike her normally.

It was the next morning and Jen got some good sleep and she was so peppy that her whole family couldn’t help but to notice. Also Changsoo was no different. He was excited to head to work in a very good mood. 

Changsoo was humming a song with his beautiful singing voice that all the ladies would die for. However, his voice and his everything is reserved for just that one special girl…Jen Park. 

Changsoo’s mom couldn’t believe it and his brothers couldn’t believe it. The person that was the most surprised with Changsoo’s recent behavior was his father. 

The whole family gathered together for once to have a nice family breakfast.

“So…Changsoo…I’ve been hearing from the board members that you are doing well these days…I’m very proud of you son….”

Chang Soo’s dad is so happy that he is no longer just aimlessly doing things at work. Changsoo’s dad wants him to take over the company instead of his two older brothers. The other brothers eating with them were bothered by the praise that their father was giving him. 

“Thank you dad.” Changsoo hasn’t heard a compliment coming out from his dad’s mouth in a long time. This bothered the two brothers.

The two brothers were whispering to each other at the breakfast table and Changsoo knew that his jealous brothers were talking about him.

Changsoo got out because he couldn’t stand to eat with his brothers.

“Hey Changsoo, aren’t you gonna finish eating?”

“No mother….I’m not hungry anymore.”

Jen was in front of the mirror, making sure she looked presentable but this was actually to be pretty for her boyfriend.

“Okay….I don’t want to look too sexy but this is good enough for him!” Jen said while putting on some pink lip gloss. 

She had on a white blouse and purple skirt up to her thighs with some black high heels. Jen decided to curl her hair then put it up in a ponytail.

“Jen! Let’s eat breakfast!” Jen’s mother called her from the kitchen. She yelled so loud that Jen was able to hear her mother from upstairs.

“Coming mom!”

The whole family finally was able to eat a decent meal all together for once although there was one person missing, Jen’s older brother. He is in the States studying to be an engineer.. He is engaged with someone from there, a Korean American and they are planning to come back to Korea soon. 

Jen’s whole family except for her older brother in America were sitting at the dining table enjoying their breakfast. Jen’s dad doesn’t talk much but he decided to open his mouth for once.

“So….are you dating?” Jen’s father was so direct that it threw her off.

“Dad……” Jen paused a little but decided to just tell him about it.

“Dad…..I am…I am dating my boss…..” Once Jen’s dad heard this he began to worry.

“I don’t know about this…most of the time those rich guys would just play around with normal girls like you then when it’s time for their families to marry them, you would be kicked to the curb…that’s how it is with people that date outside of their social economic background….” Jen’s dad said while sighing.

“Honey, it’s soon to talk like that…but Jen…I want you to bring him over to the house…we should meet him…….” The mom said.

“Didn’t he have a reputation for being a womanizer? I don’t know if I could trust him to be my brother in law ….”said Jen’s sister teasingly.

“You guys, give him a chance … .You would see that he’s not like that, you should find out for yourselves before judging him!” 

Jen wanted to have a good time with her family while having a nice morning meal but then it ended up frustrating her instead so she just got up.

“Where are you going?”Jen’s mother asked her.

“Going to work…” Jen said while huffing.

After Jen left for work, her mom and her sister decided to give Director Yoo a chance.

“When you get a chance to text her…let her know that I’m gonna prepare dinner for Mr Yoo tomorrow evening.” Jen’s mom said to her sister.

“Alright, mom…I will text her for you……after I’m done getting ready for work.” Said the sister.

Jen was in a bad mood because she couldn’t take her family members making fun of her Director Yoo that way. Also, Changsoo was in a bad mood because of his brothers trying to do something to him. He knew that they were gonna be plotting against him.

AT YUMIN CORP: CHANGSOO’S OFFICE

“Hi Jen….or Secretary Park….you look stunning.” Changsoo said while looking at Jen, trying his best not to have impure thoughts with the way Jen is looking today.

“Oh…hi Director Yoo…” Jen said while giggling cutely.

Changsoo noticed how beautiful and stunning Jen looked today but he was trying very hard to remain professional with her.

“Director Yoo, may I have those files in your hands? I need to make sure what needs to be done…” Jen took the files away from Changsoo gently so she could go through them to see what she needs to do for today.

Meanwhile, Yoonha was finally working at Yumin corp. She reported herself to Choi Joongi, her new direct boss. Joongi was so happy that he got to be near Yoonha and he thought Changsoo brought her here. Joongi thought that his friend is doing him a favor by hiring her as his personal secretary but little does he know that it was Yoonha that got herself there.

“Hello, I’m Jang Yoonha … .I will be your secretary and I’ll be filling in for your intern Jen Park.” Yoonha said confidently.

“Hello, Miss Jang, that will be your desk over there…..Miss Park used to sit there, if you think the desk is too small I can get Changsoo to order you a bigger and nicer one.”

“No need to do that, Deputy Choi…I’m fine with that desk over there.” Yoonha was pretending to be obedient and sweet but her motives were the complete opposite. 

Yoonha thought to herself that she will kick Jen out of Yumin company for good so she could have Changsoo all to herself but she has no idea that this will be a challenging fight for her.

Meanwhile, Changsoo’s two brothers were cooking something up. They both met up at a coffee shop nearby to talk about their plan to bring Changsoo down.

“Hey….what would be the best way to bring Changsoo down?” asked one of Changsoo’s brothers.

“Maybe, that Intern girl……”

“Isn’t he sorta dating that girl right now?”

“Yes, I have heard rumors that he is head over heels for that girl…..He’s never done that in all of his dating history….”

The other brother nodded and agreed with him.

“So how do we get that girl to ruin Changsoo’s life when she seems just as devoted as he is?”

“Maybe, we can use Joongi or someone to create a misunderstanding between that lovey dovey couple….”

“Yeah….that sounds great……”

These two brothers weren’t very bright. They have no idea that Joongi is not stupid to fall for a trap like that but they tried to stick with that dumb plan anyway.

Yoonha finally is working at Yumin corp as Joongi’s secretary but her main goal was for her to capture Changoo’s heart but she had no idea how to make that happen.

Meanwhile, Jiyi, the part timer at the grocery store, was on break. She was at the rooftop looking at all the skyscrapers that the city was able to offer but she felt so empty inside. She is only a part timer so she doesn’t make a whole lot of money so after she pays the bills she hardly has anything left. Second of all she is in love with Joongi but she doesn’t know how to win over Joongi’s heart. She now knows that he is in love with someone else. She heard a rumor that Joongi is in love with the youngest daughter of Taejin group, Jang Yoonha.

Changsoo was at the board meeting today and the people there were talking about all the stats of their annual profits for Yumin Corporation. All the graphs were, stats and powerpoint presentations were made by Jen and given to Changsoo. Changsoo was never this focused before and majority of the board members thought that he was very incompetent but they were wrong. First of all Changsoo is actually business smart but he also had a smart girl like Jen by his side too.

“Director Yoo, that was a fine power point presentation, I think we should be hopeful for the future of this company, we count on you…..young man…” The older board members said to Changsoo on their way out. Chairman Yoo saw this and was proud of his youngest. Whenever the two brothers were in charge of taking care of things, they always messed things up and the board members gave Chairman Yoo a hard time about it and he was starting to lose his credibility.

Changsoo came back to his office and was in a good mood.

“Jen! I did it!” Changsoo shouted in joy.

“Wow, you are in a good mood…” Jen said smiling.

“It’s all thanks to you, the board members really do like me…..thanks for helping me!” Changsoo was all smiles. He walked closer to where Jen was sitting. She was sitting at her desk, working hard like usual and Changsoo managed to come really close and he patted her on the head again.

“Thanks…sweetheart…”Then he planted a small kiss on Jen’s head…

“You don’t have to thank me….I was just doing my job and the most important thing is….you are very skilled and the board members finally saw that….” 

“You really think so?”

“Yes…I really do!”

Changsoo was happy because there weren’t very many people who really acknowledged his talent in business. Even his mother didn’t really see it even though she tries to talk to him as if she does feel that way. His father always thought that Changsoo had a natural business sense but his brothers leading him to live a wild life made his father think otherwise of him. However, once Jen came into his life, Changsoo was really inspired to succeed. 

Jen believed in him and even though Jen was the main person that should be praised for this she didn’t take the credit for it but she complimented Changsoo’s ability to make it happen and this made him fall in love with her even more.

“Do you want to go out on a date with me today? After we clock out?” Changsoo asked her.

“Yeah, sure…but where should we go?”

“Hmmmm…should we go for a walk at the park?”

“You like taking walks, director Yoo?”

“Sometimes……I used to like taking walks, or even go bike riding with Joongi when I was stressed out…..I think this would be a good date for people that have slight class differences…” Changsoo smiled.

Changsoo patted Jen’s head again and she was blushing like usual, this seemed to never get old.

“You really like it when I do this huh?” Changsoo found Jen to be so sweet and cute. All of her previous encounters would just have wild parties with him without any emotions but Changsoo likes this way more than what he had before. 

“Director Yoo…..”

“Hmmm?”

“I really love it when you pat me on the head but this is work and I want to remain professional at all times…your father promoted me to be your secretary and I don’t want to be distracted…….”

“Okay…..I will try not to but you are so cute … .so it will be really hard for me to refrain…”

Joongi was so happy that he got to be his Yoonha. However Yoonha was focused on her prey which was Changsoo. 

Yoonha finished the stuff that Joongi wanted her to get done. She managed to finish them all despite her thinking about other things.

“Here, Deputy Choi…Here are the papers you wanted me to organize.”

“Thanks Yoonha … .I will take those….” said Joongi smiling. Joongi was happy that she was working under him but he seemed bothered by her cold eyes. She was not very friendly like intern Jen … .He wanted to get closer to Yoonha but she seemed so distant even though she didn’t outright say it.
