Sam Maekjong from Hwarang and Lee Hwan from Our Blooming Youth are very diffferent.

Sam is from Shilla Dynasty that ran from 54 BC-935AD and Hwan is from Joseon Dynasty that ran from 1392-1910…….

Part of the reasons why these two are so different is because they are from totally different eras…..Joseon was actually more more uptight and conservative than Shilla was.

However, even without the differences because of the different time periods…these two from two different eras have such different ways when dealing with women.
