It’s finally Sunday and this is the only day that Jen has off from work. She was happy to be able to sleep in but that didn’t last too long cause she got a text message from her Changie.

“How is my baby doing?” Said Changie from the other end. 

Jen felt so groggy because it’s so early in the morning but even then she felt wide awake to message him back. If this were someone else she would’ve just ignored the text.

“I just got up Changsoo Ssi…” Jen said while yawning.

“Do you want to hang out with me today? It’s sunday.”

“Yeah……can we have a normal middle class date?”

“Middle class date?”

“You know…go to the mall……go get snacky food from the street vendor, go to the arcade and maybe even go to the amusement park……..come on it will be a lot of fun…”

“I’m not a fan of any of those places….but I will think about it if you call me Changsoo oppa…”

“Changsoo oppa … .can we go to those places? Please?” 

Jen couldn’t believe that she was willing to go there…Jen has a hard time doing Aegyo to the guys…it’s not like she has no adorable charms in her body, she just never chose to act like that. However, Changsoo is changing her dynamics completely to the point that she was willing to do her little aegyo thing for calling him oppa just for the kind of date she wanted.

Jen gave Changsoo the time and place to meet for their little so called regular civilian date. Meanwhile, Yoonha was preparing to go to Yumin corp tomorrow. She couldn’t wait to kick Jen out from Yumin company so she could have Changsoo all to herself and also have both Taejin and Yumin too. Yoonha is a very ambitious woman like how Joongi is an ambitious man. But at least Joongi wouldn’t step on someone to get to the top even though he would use certain people to get there. 

Yoonha decided to call Changsoo’s mother. 

“Oh, is this Yoonha?”

“Yes, mother……”

“I heard that you will be working for us starting tomorrow…”

“Yes, mother…..I will be Joongi Choi’s personal secretary.”

“It’s too bad because it would have been better if you went in as Changsoo’s secretary but it’s too late for that I guess…..”

“Don’t worry mother, I will be taking over that position real soon but for now I need to at least work as Joongi’s secretary until I am able to kick Jen out for good…..”

“Do you really have to go that far? I mean, we can teach Jen a lesson so she won’t come close to our Changsoo but kicking her out is a little bit too much don’t you think?”

“Mother, why are you being so weak against her? I thought you didn’t like her…..”

“I’m not fond of her but I don’t dislike her either….I talked to her yesterday at Changsoo’s office and she seemed like a bright and upright girl….well mannered too…”

Yoonha didn’t like the fact that Changsoo’s mother wasn’t like before. She wanted her to team up with her and get rid of Jen completely.

Meanwhile, Jen and Changsoo met in front of the amusement park but Changsoo felt so embarrassed by the kiddy stuff. This is not how Changsoo used to play with girls. He used to go to bars, clubs, have sex parties at his office, and pool parties. The last time he ever went to an amusement park  was when he was little, like when he was  six or seven years old.

“Just letting you know…..I’m not used to places like this……so you have to lead me…”

“Really? You are so missing out…… .Amusement park is the best…..!”

Jen felt more comfortable around Changsoo than she used to. She grabbed his hand and said

“Let’s enjoy this date together…..1” 

“Are you the same girl that was running away from me before?”

“Run away? I never did that….”

Changsoo’s dad really had his eyes on Taejin. He felt like the Taejin group can give Yumin so much more than what they already have. Although, Yoonha’s father has something different in mind. They both want their kids to marry each other but Yoonha’s dad doesn’t seem to be all that desperate to marry her off to Changsoo.

Changsoo’s older brothers are becoming desperate now because the only way they were able to secure their positions was to make Changsoo go out and waste his days partying with nonsensical people. Changsoo does have a business sense and he is a very smart guy and also he is the favorite son out of the three so it was natural for them to feel even more threatened by Changsoo getting his act together unlike before. 

Changsoo was dealing with culture shock at the moment because people were buying food from the food vendors and to him this looked very unsanitary. He also didn’t like the way people were just doing things in general.

“You normal people eat this stuff?”

“Yeah, it’s delicious….you want to try some?”

Changsoo was just gonna flat out say no but he didn’t want to be rude. He cared about her so he decided to try it out.

“Well…I will try some if you make a deal with me…”

“And what is that?”

“I will eat this stuff if you go out on a fancy style date with me, it will be my treat.”

“That’s not so difficult to do…..I don’t mind … .I’m kinda used to it because I watched those dramas all the time… where rich guys take normal girls out on a date to fancy places..”

“Do you watch dramas?”

Jen was skipping out of joy and answered him. 

“Yup, of course….who doesn’t?” 

Changsoo smiled at her in disbelief. They kept on walking and walking until Jen got tired of walking. They ate some snacks that Jen bought from the street vendor and started to get in line for one of the rides.

Jen grabbed onto Changsoo’s hands and he was enjoying every minute of it although he wanted to do some adult stuff, to him just holding hands felt very childfish.

“Let’s go on that ride…it’s super fun…….but we have to get in line soon because the line will get really long….”

Changsoo stared into Jen’s eyes and said to her….

“I don’t mind going on that ride with you if you do something for me…..”

Jen was clueless to what he’s gonna be asking for so she was looking into his eyes while blinking here and there.

Changsoo grabbed Jen’s hand and took her to a secluded area and started kissing her while putting one hand on her head and the other on her face like the last time. 

Jen couldn’t do anything about it but just gave in but she didn’t mind cus she was enjoying it and Changsoo knew that she was too.

Jen was in his arms and her lips locked to his. After kissing for a few minutes he took his lips off of hers. 

“You are a kisser Jen!”

“I am?”

Then he patted her on the head again.

For some reason his hand on her head made her go even more wild than the kiss. Everytime Changsoo patted her on the head she couldn’t help but to flinch, which he found to be cute.

He saw her face turning red and he pinched her cheeks cus of how adorable she looked. 

“We did what you wanted to so now it’s my turn! Let’s go get in line to get on that ride…Changie Ssi…”

“Changie Ssi?”

“Then what am I supposed to call you? Mr. Yoo? Director Yoo?” Jen asked while making funny faces while hitting on Changsoo’s shoulders.

“Oppa… Did you forget my dear?” Changsoo said with a smirk.

While Jen and Changsoo were having fun at the amusement park Yoonha was excited about working for Yumin but time was going by really slowly for her. She decided to text Changsoo but no reply. Even though he never really liked her he always sent a reply back whenever she texted him but this time, NOTHING.

“Changsoo ssi….what are you doing? Do you want to hang out with me today? I’m bored…” Yoonha tried sounding really cute but it didn’t work. It came off awkward even via text message. 

Changsoo ignored Yoonha’s text because he was too busy hanging out with Jen at the amusement park. He isn’t a fan of amusement parks but he still wanted to make Jen happy.

Changsoo and Jen got in line but Changsoo looked kinda antsy.

“What’s wrong Changsoo ssi? You looked bothered by something.”

Jen still felt awkward calling him oppa so she ended up calling him by his name and adding the honorifics after his name. However, she calls him director Yoo at the office since she wants to remain professional while at work. 

“Oh, it’s nothing……”

“Are you scared of going on roller coasters?”

“Of course not…Why would I be?”

“It’s written all over your face….”

Changsoo felt embarrassed but he was still happy to have this so-called normal date with Jen. He never experienced something like this in his life and the more he spends time with Jen he is liking this kind of world more than when he was with people with no love or affection whatsoever.

“Fine! I will go on that ride….but you have to protect me if something happens…” Changsoo said teasingly.

“Okay okay…I will…” Jen said while staring into his eyes.

The line was moving along but Changsoo had to do it again but Jen is always willing to welcome a certain touch of his. He started to look into her eyes while having one hand on her cheek and the other patting her……Jen kept on smiling while looking into his eyes. She wasn’t shy anymore but his touch still made her heart beat like crazy, and that won’t be going away anytime soon. 

Meanwhile, Yoonha’s dad was cooking up something that nobody knows about. Yoonha’s mom is okay with marrying her daughter off to the Yoo family. However, Yoonha’s dad kinda looked down on Yumin company. Changsoo didn’t seem all that attractive for his ambition but Yumin company in itself was a whole different story.

Yoonha’s dad was sitting on his chair, sipping some fine tea while reading his daily newspaper and he wanted to talk to Yoonha’s mother.

Yoonha’s mother was peeling some apples for her husband and Mr Jang took a deep sigh and asked her.

“Do you really want to marry Yoonha off with Changsoo?”

“I don’t see why not….Yumin is a very attractive company and if they become our in laws that could be a good thing for us and also Changsoo seems like a good kid…He is well mannered, handsome….I think we could see some good looking grandchildren with a boy like that.”

“I agree with you but I’m not so fond of that family.” Yoonha’s father said while clearing his throat. Yoonha’s father has something different in mind than Changsoo’s dad and that could be a problem.

Changsoo’s dad wants to merge with Taejin but his long term goal is to make Taejin become part of Yumin. Maybe Yoonha’s father caught onto Mr. Yoo’s scheme so that’s the reason why he is a little bit hesitant in marrying his daughter off to the Yoo family, not because he doesn’t like Changsoo personally.

Joongi has heard rumors about Yoonha but he doesn’t know that she is gonna be working as his secretary starting tomorrow. Jiyi is still a part timer at the grocery part of the Yumin corporation and her competition will be working at Yumin starting tomorrow.

Yoonha decided to give her spies a call to find out more things about this Jen girl.

“Hey Yerin……do you have some time to chit chat?”

“Oh hey Yoonha what’s up?”

“Can you tell me more about this Jen girl? I need more info on her…..”

“As you know she works as Changsoo’s personal secretary and Mr Yoo is the one who promoted her……”

“She was originally hired as an intern, right? But How in the world did she get promoted so fast? This doesn’t make any sense…”

“It wasn’t Changsoo who promoted her, it was his father who did…”

Yoonha had a hard time believing this. It’s unrealistic for an intern to get a promotion from an intern position that fast and let alone from the chairman directly … .She would’ve believed it more if Changsoo was the one who promoted her. It’s ironic cus Changsoo was gonna do just that but Jen declined it. 

“Another thing…..is that Jen girl dating Changsoo ssi?”

“Yes……like I told you…..they were all over each other at the Karaoke bar…..I saw Jen on his lap too but it was Changsoo who wanted her there…”

“Okay, okay…stop…I can’t take this anymore…..I will come back for more info later….I’m hanging up!”

“Hello…hello!”

Yoonha already hung up and she was mad that they were that close.

At the amusement park Changsoo kept on leaning in closer and closer to Jen while patting her head and pinching her cheeks. He whispered to her.

“I know you like it when I do this…”

Jen’s face started to turn red.

Changsoo finally got on this roller coaster with Jen. He was scared that he wouldn’t like it but he realized that it wasn’t so bad. He let out his frustrations by screaming really loud. Jen grabbed Changsoo’s hand and screamed along with him.

“Yahoo! Woooo! Woah!”

The two were having so much fun and before they knew it the ride was over.

“Wow, you were actually enjoying it…I can’t believe it, Changsoo ssi..”

“It’s because I am with you, Jen my dear…” He pinched her on the nose sweetly.

Jen discovered a photo booth. She wanted a photo with Changsoo.

“Changsoo ssi…let’s take a photo…let’s go over there!”

Changsoo was a little surprised because Jen seemed to be so outgoing around him now and not just that, she was acting comfortable around him which made him really happy.

They both went into the photo booth and they sat on the seat but Changsoo thought that they should come up with another way to sit.

“Babe….sit on my lap…”

“What?”

“You don’t want to?”

Jen didn’t say anything but just sat on his lap smiling.

Changsoo put his arm around her while she was on his lap then Jen pressed the button that was on the photo machine.

“Say, Cheese…” Said in her giggly voice. 

The photo came out good. Both of them were so happy that they have a photo of each other now. They each got a copy and put it in their wallets. 

“We came out good huh Changsoo ssi?”

“Yeah…we look great…Jen…”

They haven’t really eaten much so Changsoo asked Jen if she was hungry. She said she wanted to eat something outside of the amusement park cus food gets really expensive there.

“Let’s go to the souvenir shop!” Jen said cheerfully.

They held hands and walked over to the gift shop and bought a matching t-shirt and also Changsoo bought Jen a giant teddy bear to hold when he is not around.

“Thank you Changsoo ssi…”

“Not a problem….anything for you sweetie….”

They were both tired so they decided to leave. They left the amusement park and went to a nice restaurant that Changsoo likes. It was a place that served high quality steak and expensive wine.

“You’ve never been to a place like this before, right?” Changsoo asked curiously.

“No….I’ve had steak before but not in such a nice place like this…” Jen answered with a smile. 

Changsoo ordered two plates of medium rare steak, with steamed veggies and mashed potatoes. Of course he ordered some French wine as well. 

“So how do you like this dinner? Changsoo style dinner?”

“It’s actually really good….I love it! I’ve had steak before but not like this….I can see why you rich people would come to a place like this…”

“I’m glad, eat to your heart’s content … .I will bring you here more often if you want…”

“Cheers!” said Changsoo.

“Cheers!” said Jen.

“Wow, this wine is so good too….” said Jen. She has seen people eat fancy steak and drink fancy wine in her dramas but she never thought it could be this good. 

“See? This is why I wanted to bring you here!” Changsoo said with a smile.

Jen was busy eating and drinking while Changsoo was too busy staring at her.

“Aren’t you gonna eat?” Jen asked.

“I wouldn’t worry if I were you, but for now just looking at you makes me feel full…”

“You are so silly Changsoo…” 

“Do you want me to buy you a bottle of some of this fancy wine?”

“Are you sure? I don’t want to impose….”

“I want to buy you two bottles…one for you to drink at home while you are thinking about me and another bottle for your parents….”

“You don’t have to do that…” Jen said shyly.

Changsoo ordered two bottles of wine for Jen to take home.

Once they were done eating he drove her home. He was able to drive her home since he only drank one glass of wine although Jen drank several glasses.

They were in front of Jen’s house now. Jen didn’t want to say goodbye to him. They had fun at the amusement park that Changsoo’s not used to and they also had some fancy dinner at a nice restaurant that Jen’s not used to. They both did something that the other is not used to but it was a good way to get to know each other better and be in each other’s worlds. 

Jen’s hand was full. She had a bag with a T-Shirt from the gift shop, a bag with two bottles of wine and a big teddy bear. 

“You have so much in your hands so I don’t think I would be able to kiss you properly…” Changsoo teased Jen.

“I know right?” Jen said giggling.

“Put those down for a few so I can give you a proper one…”

Jen put the bags down and stared into Changsoo’s eyes as he was too.

“You have beautiful eyes.” Changsoo said then he leaned in to kiss her lips. He patted her on the head and kissed her forehead afterwards.

“Thank you for coming to the amusement park with me…” Jen said.

“No, thank you…I had a lot of fun actually and thank you for coming to the fancy restaurant with me….”

“No…I thank you for a good meal…and oh and thank you for these bottles of wine….hehe…”

“ I will see you at work tomorrow … .if you miss me look at the photo we took earlier or you can text me or call me if you want…”

“Okay…Changsoo ssi….”

“Goodnite Jen…” Changsoo gave her a peck on the cheeks and slowly walked away.

Jen kinda struggled to get all the stuff that was in her hands but managed to carry all that stuff into her bedroom. 

“Ahhhh…that was good…I’m so tired….” 

Jen managed to go into her room without being bothered since they were all in their own bedrooms now. 

Jen laid down on the bed and thought about all the stuff she did with Changsoo. She was so happy that they are together. She couldn’t believe it cus she was playing hard to get not too long ago but now she is the one taking initiatives.
