“Honey, are you done getting little Jen ready for school? We have to leave soon…” said Mama Hyojoo.
“Yeah! Almost babe!” said loudly because he was still in the bathroom just finishing up getting lil Jen ready for school.
Mama Hyojoo was on alert mode so she decided to call lil Jen up real quick.
“Jen sweetie…can I talk to you for a minute?”Mama Hyojoo called Lil Jen over to the bedroom while Daddy Shikkie was still getting himself ready to drop Jen off and go to work at his job at the pediatrician hospital.
“Jen baby….make sure there aren’t any strange ladies around daddy okay?”
“Of course mommy…you look after me and I look after you…” Jen said with determination and enthusiasm.
“You are such a good little girl and Mommy is very proud of you…”
“But mom….you gotta trust dad…he wouldn’t do anything like that, it’s really that crazy lady I’m worried about … .her eyes scare me mommy…”
Children tend to have intuition that adults seem to lose after they grow up and Lil Jen was able to sense a bad air with Mrs Kim. But this bothered her cus she likes her daughter Julia.
“Mommy, Julia is a nice girl…she is not good in school so I tutor her…..but it seems like her mother isn’t so good….”
“Okay, Jen…it’s time to go to school….it looks like your daddy’s all ready…Mommy is gonna be busy for a whole week at work so he is gonna take you to school and pick you up … .kay?”
“Okay, mommy…..” Jen said, smiling at her mom.
Mama Hyojoo was about to say more but lil Jen was able to read her mind.
“I know what you are gonna say next….listen to your daddy? Right? Don’t worry mom, I’m a big girl…I will behave and listen to daddy…”
Mama Hyojoo did not have to worry about Lil Jen misbehaving since her little girl and her husband get along so well.
“Oh, and I think you might have to order from the food app again…..I just have no time to cook…..”
“Mommy, I think I’m gonna learn how to cook so I could cook for daddy when you are not able to…..” Jen felt bad that her daddy had to eat food from the food app again.
The only thing Hyojoo was worried about was her husband’s work. She wanted to ask him about that.
Hyojoo was done talking to her daughter and headed over to her husband.
“Honey…..I feel bad making you take responsibility for Lil Jen……are you able to go to work on time and able to do your work properly despite all the sudden responsibilities?”
“No, that’s fine……I have my own office as you know so I can come and go as you please but I know you don’t have the luxury to do that … .I have good doctors and nurses to help me out…..” Hyojoo was worried because she is not used to Shikkie being his own boss. He barely became his own boss not too long ago. During the early years of marriage, he was still in school and then the last few years he was working for someone else at a large hospital. He finally became independent to be his own boss by saving money like crazy.
“You are such a responsible husband, I’m so glad I married you! Muha!”
Mama Hyojoo gave Daddy Shikkie a kiss on the lips in front of her daughter and Lil Jen was so happy to see her parents loving each other that way. She felt privileged because some kids don’t have this thing called a Happy Family.
“Lil Jen…sweetie…let’s go….it’s time to take you to school” Daddy said while holding her hand.
“Okay, daddy…..it’s time to go huh?”
“Yes,,,” said Shikkie.
“Be good….Mommy will text you later…I love you! Muah!” Mommy kissed Jen on the forehead before taking off and now it was just Jen and Dad.
Shikkie carried her daughter over to the car, put the seatbelt on her and put some children’s music on for Jen to listen to and drove her to school.
“You have your seatbelt on…you look like you are ready.” said daddy.
Lil Jen looked out the window and the streets looked really pretty today. Jen really loves music just like her daddy. It might not look like it because her daddy is a doctor but he is a good singer and is good at playing the piano too. He always wanted to be a singer ever since he was a little boy but didn’t pursue it. He knows that his daughter is also a very good singer so sometimes he wanted her to become a singer when she grows up.
“You like music right?”
“Yeah, daddy…but why?”
“You don’t want to be a singer when you grow up honey?”
“No daddy, I already told you…I want to be a doctor like you…”
“Okay…… .I want you to be a happy little girl sweetheart…..I will support you in whatever path you decide to take…” Daddy smiled.
Lil Jen and Daddy Shikkie were having a little small talk on their way to Jen’s school.
Daddy parked the car and decided to walk his daughter to the classroom to make sure that she is good to go.
“Here we are Jen…..listen to your teachers okay? And be good!” Daddy gave his lil girl a peck on the lips.
“I will daddy…I’m a big girl…you don’t have to worry about me..” Lil Jen gave her daddy a little peck on the cheeks too.
Jen finally got seated in her class and her dad felt that it was good for him to go now. However as he was humming over to his car, he saw a woman standing outside in the parking lot where his car was parked.
“Hello, Mr Park….it is such a beautiful day isn’t it?” Uee asked.
Shikkie was so confused how she got him at the right place at the right time to approach him like this. Out of awkwardness he couldn’t help but to scratch his head again.
“Oh … .Mrs.Kim right? I have to get going…I have to go to work now…..I can’t leave my employees at the office by themselves….” Shikkie wasn’t lying, he was actually telling the truth and even if he wasn’t he had to make something up to get out of this situation.
“Ohhh okay……I’m sorry…Mr Park….I just wanted to have a chit chat…no harm in that right?”
“Yeah but I’m a busy man…I’m a father and a husband…I have to make a living and take care of my family…..nice talking to you again Mrs. Kim..”
Daddy Shikkie was sweating trying to get rid of this crazy woman but it was harder than expected but he managed to get the heck out of there……and finally he got to his work safe and sound.
“Sorry guys…I ran a little late…..I’ve been the one taking my daughter to school and back lately…” Daddy Shikkie was wiping off his sweat from his forehead and one of the nurses couldn’t help but to bring it up.
“Dr.Park … .are you okay? You don’t look well….”
“Oh…I don’t?”
“What happened? Your face looks all pale and you are sweating too…” One of the nurses mentioned his current state.
Shikkie has been married to Hyojoo for nearly 10 years and Lil Jen has been a part of his life for 8 years now and throughout his journey as a father and a husband he never had to go through anything so scary like this before.
Some men in the world cheat deliberately but then some men never had intentions to cheat but they end up doing that because they are weak to temptations … .Shikkie did not want to be part of the statistics. Hyojoo is a very attractive woman, she is strong, kind, hard working and so much more. However, Uee is really sexy and sometimes Men fall for women like them without knowing it and this is what scares Dr.Park more than anything. He doesn’t want to lose everything he has by one simple mistake because of a stupid thing called TEMPTATIONS.
Uee didn’t want to give up on pursuing Dr Park. She was still in the school premise and another mom, from this elementary school, came up to her and started to talk her ear off.
“Unnie…..how did seducing Dr Park go? I mean, he is hot and all but I don’t think you should pursue him. I thought about it but I decided to just crush on him from afar. Just letting you know, pursuing a married man with children doesn’t end well.
Sieon is another mother that had a crush on Dr Park but then she feels that pursuing him is a little too dangerous so she decided to take the wiser route regarding this issue.
Uee should be glad that Lil Jen can’t really hear their conversation right now because she is in class being attentive to the lecture that is happening right now.
Uee and Sieon were outside of the classroom that Lil Jen is in now, so Lil Jen cannot hear this silly conversation that is happening outside of her classroom.
“Sieon…I’m glad you have given up on him…this means I have no competition and I can have Dr Park all to myself right? Now, all I have left is to be on Lil Jen’s good side and also somehow defeat that mother of hers.”
“Unnie…please don’t….you are only gonna wreck yourself..”
On the surface, Sieon looks like the type that would pursue this married man with a child more than Uee but sometimes looks can be deceiving.
As the two women were still discussing about Dr Park…Uee heard a loud cry…..it was her daughter Julia. Julia had some health issues. She doesn’t only have some form of learning disability but she also has other health problems.
“Julia Kim! Are you okay?” Julia was crying due to some pain in her heart and Uee’s motherly instinct went over to her daughter to check out what was going on. She knew her daughter’s crying voice right off the bat.
“Mrs.Kim right? This is your daughter correct?”
“Yes…it is … .what’s the matter? Is she okay?”
“No….I think she is in a lot of pain…I think you might have to take her to the hospital…..”
“Okay…I think I will do that….” Uee said with a concerned voice.
“I will call you later….” Uee said to Sieon and Sieon looked so worried about all this. She really did consider Uee like a big sister. She was worried for both Uee and her daughter for two different reasons.
Uee took Julia immediately and took her daughter to the pediatrician however she really lucked out cus the closest one with the highest rating near the school was Shikkie’s hospital.
Uee will be in for a pleasant surprise. Uee wasn’t always this bat shit crazy though. She always had this weird bad luck with men. She married a trashy guy that’s the father of her lil Julia. Julia’s father was so immature that he was never there for her and her daughter. He always went around with other women..sleeping with them and partying with them. Uee got sick of this so she divorced him. Then she started to date various men, including Myungsoo Jo who was also immature but then he wasn’t an ass like Julia’s father.
Uee was jealous to see such a happy family like Lil Jen’s. She has been observing Lil Jen’s family for several months now and what she saw was the kind of family that she wanted whens he got married to Julia’s father. However, her dream was crushed and her plan for a happy family was ruined. So that’s why she ended up completely losing herself wishing that she was Dr Park’s woman and she became obsessed about making this married man hers.
