Little Jen and Daddy Shikkie were enjoying dinner together while Mama Hyojoo was working really hard with her colleague Jina Kim. Jina Kim is a law professor at the university.

“Hyojoo … .don’t you ever worry about your husband?”

“What do you mean Jina?”

“Your husband is a very good looking guy…..you better be careful…there are a lot of scary women running around nowadays……You have to be alert if you are gonna make this family a full blown family unit…” Jina said out of concern.

“What do you mean Jina?”

“There are a lot of dysfunctional families in this world and I remember you were saying that you wanted to raise your little girl in a safe and caring environment right?”

“Yeah….”

“The thing is your husband is a very handsome guy and a lot of women won’t leave him alone…….I even wanted to hit on him once…..but I refrained from doing that cus you are my friend……” Jina sighed and continued.

“I know I shouldn’t be saying this while you are working so late in the evening but … .just be careful…I’m not trying to say your husband’s gonna cheat on you but men are sometimes weak to temptations…so you as her husband need to monitor him…..” Jina looked pretty serious saying all this and Hyojoo thought about it and it made sense. 

Although Hyojoo knows that he hasn’t looked at another woman since they have been married to each other for almost 10 years. It is amazing that they have been married for this long. A lot of married couples go through a crisis around the ten year mark and Jina was trying to help out her close friend and colleague at the university because she has seen some things around her outside of the campus. 

Meanwhile, Daddy Shikkie and Lil Jen finished eating dinner and were just watching some cartoons then played some games together.

Lil Jen was sitting on her daddy’s lap and he was teaching her how to play the game he used to enjoy.

“Daddy, this is super fun!” 

“Isn’t it? I used to love playing this game with your uncles?”

“Which one…Uncle Minnie (His real Brother)? Or the Wooga Squad uncles?”

“The Wooga Squad uncles…” said daddy while laughing out loud.

“Are they ever gonna come over again? I remember they used to come over and give me gifts when I was really small…”

“Don’t worry, I will invite them over soon….”

“Mama is coming home!” 

Mama Hyojoo texted Little Jen on her phone. Little Jen does have a phone but she doesn’t have a lot of features including social media sites. Mama Hyojoo believes that little kids shouldn’t have too much access to that stuff because it’s unhealthy for growing young children.

“Daddy, mommy texted me! She is coming home!”

“Oh…she is?”

“Yes….!”

Meanwhile, Mrs Kim was on her bed feeling lonely, thinking about Mr Park and she wanted to make him hers but was trying to think of ways to get to him.

Mama Hyojoo was in the car driving home and thought about what her friend Jina told her. She never realized that there could be some dangerous situations of someone trying to steal her man away from her. Hyojoo and Shikkie never had trust issues. They did everything properly, which is really hard to find in modern society. People might call them old fashioned or even too traditional but they wanted to live how they saw fit….old fashioned and traditional.

Mama Hyojoo didn’t want to imagine her good looking husband encouraging homewreckers to ruin what had been built with Shikkie who is her husband. 

It was getting late so Daddy Shikkie and Little Jen stopped playing his favorite game with her.

“I think it’s time for me to tuck you in sweetheart…..”

“Daddy…I don’t want to go to sleep yet….I want to say hi to mommy first….and I have something to tell her too…..”

“Oh…what is it? You can tell me then I can deliver that message to her…..and you can always hug her tomorrow before she leaves….” 

“Daddy?”

“Hm?”

“Mommy is gonna come home soon so I’m gonna stay up for a little while longer…kay?”

“Okay…sweetie…”

For the time being Daddy Shikkie was relaxing on the couch and Little Jen was sitting next to her daddy just waiting for her mommy to come home.

Finally mama Hyojoo came home.

“Wow, I’m so beat! How is my little girl doing?”

“Mommy! I miss you mommy!” Jen ran over to her mom and hugged her.

“Did daddy order you some good food?”

“Yeah, we ordered some spicy rice cakes, spicy chicken feet and some spicy fried noodles!”

“Ohhhh your appetite is becoming similar to your daddy’s…”

“I think so…I didn’t like spicy food before but I love it now!”

“How was work honey?” Shikkie asked.

“Oh….pretty long…I had so much to do…!”

“Did you already eat?Should I make you something or order you some food?” Shikkie asked cus he wanted to make sure that his wife was eating.

“I already ate with my friend from work.”

“Mommy, I have something to tell you………”

Little Jen dragged her mom over to her bedroom and locked the door.

“Mom…..I am worried about something….”

“What is it sweetheart….”

“Well……I witnessed something at school…..I don’t know if I should tell you this….”

“What is honey….tell me…..”

“I saw a woman trying to take daddy somewhere……mommy……I didn’t like the feeling … .I wanted to tell daddy about it but I was too scared to bring it up … .and also that woman kinda looked scary…She is my classmate’s mother…”

“Oh…….is she now? Is that classmate smart?”

“No mommy, she is not a smart kid…I’ve been helping her with her homework…the kid is nice but her mom…I don’t know…she got divorced not too long ago……”

Mama Hyojoo thought about what her colleague Jina told her at work earlier….

“Okay … .thanks for letting me know honey … .let’s wash up … .your daddy will tuck you in after I wash you up … .kay pumpkin?”

“Kay Mommy!”

Mama Hyojoo had a weird look on her face and didn’t know what to feel about what her little daughter just told her.

Mama Hyojoo decided to wash her daughter before handing her over to her husband to tuck her in then was gonna have a serious chit chat with her man.

“Good girl…that’s it….now you look clean! Your face is clean and your teeth are nice and shiny! Let’s go get your dad….”

Daddy Shikkie was taking a short nap on the couch since he had a rather stressful day…He wanted to forget about the encounter he had earlier today.

“Dear……wake up…..you have to tuck Jen in…”

“Oh sorry babe…I just fell asleep……”

Hyojoo looked and sounded upset after what Jen told her……but decided to have a serious talk after Jen’s asleep.

“Okay, Jen….let’s go tuck you in princess.”

Daddy Shikkie carried little Jen over to her bed in her bedroom. He tucked her in and sang her a little lullaby with his beautiful singing voice. Jen was fast asleep and he went over to his bedroom where his wife was laying clearly bothered by something.

“Honey…..we need to talk….” Hyojoo sounded serious and the tone of her voice started to worry him. She doesn’t sound this way too often so this is why he was a little scared.

“I need to ask you something….did a  woman try to take you somewhere earlier at Jen’s school?”

“Well…..she did ask me if I wanted to have tea with her but I turned her down…..why?”

“Little Jen told me that she was bothered by her…..and our girl was telling me that she’s scared by her too……and this woman happens to be a mother of one of Jen’s classmates that she tutors…”

“If you are worried that I’m cheating on you…don’t worry…you know me…we have been married for ten years but we never had any problems…”

“But honey….I am worried……I never knew that being married to such a handsome man can be so difficult…..” Hyojoo sighed.

“Was it that difficult?”

“Well…I never mentioned it to you but yes…even my colleague said she wanted to hit on you when she first saw you but gave up cus she is my friend….”

“Come here…..nothing like that will ever happen … .and nobody is gonna take me away from you Hyojoo my dear…kay? Let’s go to sleep…we need to wake up early tomorrow….”

The couple turned off the lights and held each other to sleep.
