It was another beautiful day at Yumin High School. Everyone felt some love the night before although Eunsoo had to deal with a heartbreak while others were almost tying the knot with their relationships.

Today was a big day because the drama club members will be rehearsing for everything they have done up until now, so they will be able to perform for the whole school before the royalties go back to their timeline.

Also, they need to throw a going away party for Sam and Hwan later on today, right after the drama club is over at 5:00. Normally the drama club is one hour long, it’s from 3:00pm-4:00pm but today,  cus they got a lot to work on so they will be doing it till 5:00pm

As soon as Insoo got home from meeting with Seonwoo, he quickly wrote some music for the musical number. He is so talented that it only took him a few hours to come up with a few melodies for the song. He even wrote some lyrics to go with it because he is also talented in writing song lyrics.

Minhyuk got there super early, he had to even ask for his teacher to let him out early so he would be able to get to the drama club ahead of time.

And Brina wanted to get there as early as Minmin too but couldn’t cus her teacher didn’t let her out early enough to do that.

Minhyuk checked out everything, from the stage lights, to sets, props and even lighting. Minhyuk had to wait for Insoo for the music, Seonwoo for the camera work and Jen for the script that she wrote the night before.

Minhyuk was planning to give direction once everyone gets there. He realized that the biggest contributors to this play are Anh Minhyuk himself, Brinnie, Jen, Seonwoo and Insoo. However he feels that everybody played a big role too, especially the two royalties from different timelines. 

The drama club members were getting here one by one. Majority of the drama club members are couples now except for Insoo. However, with Eunsoo and Hwan they are a couple but they are on borrowed time.

Minhyuk wanted to rehearse for about an hour and shoot the play. He wants to show the film version of the play instead of the live version and this is why Seonwoo is the key player for this. Most people would think this is weird because most plays are done live, they don’t film it then show it on the big screen. 

Minhyuk needed Brina’s help. He wanted her to put an ad on the Bulletin that the play will be on the big screen at the drama club tomorrow.

Luckily, Brina was able to make it right before the start of the drama club.

“Oh, Brina you are here…I am so glad …do you think you can do me a favor?”

“Of course Minnie…what can I do for you?”

“I made some flyers for tomorrow’s play, do you think you can post it all over the bulletins near the cafeteria?”

“Yeah, I will do that … .I will do it right now unless you have something else you want me to do first.” Said Brina. 

“I think putting up the ad for tomorrow is a priority since it’s like a last minute thing. I want a lot of people to come and enjoy our show.” said Minhyuk confidently.

“That’s true. I will go and post these flyers. I will be back.”

“Thanks Brinnie.”

Everybody finally arrived and Minhyuk gave everyone a little short pep talk. 

“Listen everyone. We got a lot to do today. We have to rehearse for the play, film/record it and make sure that we are all ready to show it to the students of Yumin High school. Also, we have a going away party for Sam and Hwan afterwards! No objections right?”

“RIGHT!” Everyone shouted in unison.

“Seonwoo, use your camera in a particular way to get a certain angle … yes…that’s it…like that … ..good work Seonwoo.” Minhyuk said in that commanding director voice with a lot of authority.

“Jen…let me see your script…..let’s see what you have…”

“Here is the script…I worked on it for hours last night before bed…” Jen said proudly.

Minhyuk glossed over it for a few minutes and he gave Jen the green light.

“Wow, you are such a talented writer Jen…..”

“I am?”

“Seonwoo helped me out a lot although he was out talking to Insoo yesterday so he couldn’t really help me then but I don’t think I would have been able to without his help…”

Minhyuk made everyone act accordingly from what he saw on the script. He made the actors and actresses say each line from the script and made Seonwoo to film it. 

“Oh! Insoo … .do you have the copy of the music that you made?”

“Oh yea…I forgot about that…..” Insoo dug through his backpack for the copy of the music he made.

“Here you go Minhyuk. This is the music I made for the musical number. Since I had to make it at the last minute so it might not be so good…”

“Oh, don’t worry Insoo, I’m sure it sounds great…let’s check it out…”

Minhyuk was gonna have Brina get the tape player to play the recording of Insoo’s music but he realized that she went to run an errand for him so he decided to ask Jen to do it.

“Hey, Jen! Do you think you can get me the tape player from backstage?”

“Tape player? Wow you people sound so old…” Jen said, teasing the two boys.

“Okay, I will go get it…” Jen went to the back to get the tape player so Insoo could let Minhyuk hear his music. 

“Oh….this….this sounds awesome!” Said Minhyuk, amazed.

“Oh you think so? I wrote it at the last minute……so I was a little worried.”

“This is good, very appropriate!”

“Thanks…”

Brina finally came back. She was huffing because she was so out of breath.

“I’m back! I posted all the flyers you gave me all around the school..I never knew that this school was so huge…” said Brina still out of breath.

“Of course cus Yumin High school is the best!” said Changsoo proudly.

“I agree!” said Minhyuk, agreeing with what his new friend was saying.

Sam and Hwan were made to act like they just fell from the sky and not knowing where they were…lost…..

“Perfect! Sam and Hwan! You guys really are naturals!” Minhyuk was satisfied with the performance. Minhyuk wanted the two royalties to do a reenactment of their first appearance to the modern world but they were able to make Minhyuk content with their performance.

Sam and Hwan looked at each other to see if they really did a good job or not. Jiyi and Eunsoo were proud of their boys. While they were worshipping the performances of their men, Minhyuk wanted Jiyi and Eunsoo to do some acting with their male counterparts.

“Seonwoo…you are doing a great job filming everything…..” Minhyuk gave Seonwoo a nod and vice versa. 

Minhyuk wanted to play the music that Insoo made. 

“Jen, play the music that Insoo made for us please!”

“Okay, Minhyuk!” said Jen.

Sadly, a lot of the things that happened since the royalties showed up Jen couldn’t write that into the script because a lot of stuff occurred outside of the auditorium. 

Minhyuk loved the tune and the lyrics that Insoo made for the musical number.

“Ooohhh okay, I think this showtune will go well with what we are going for…” Minhyuk was impressed that Insoo was able to write a tune like this on such a short notice.

“Wow, you are amazing Insoo.” said Minhyuk.

All the other club members were just sitting and waiting to take direction from Minhyuk.

“Go Yeonwoo, Kim Jina, Jung Yihun, and Yoon Sebom… .I want you to sit next to Lee Jiyi and Lee Eunsoo.” Minhyuk said with a friendly but an authoritative voice. 

“Okay!” They all said in unison.

Minhyuk made the two royalties lay there and he wanted their two girlfriends to sit by them, while the four mentioned above are observing the situation. Minhyuk felt like he needed some sort of special effects and he asked Seonwoo to do some camera tricks to make that happen. 

Minhyuk had a lot on his mind, he was worried about the turn out tomorrow and he wanted everything to go well according to his plan.

Changsoo, Bongsoon, Kyungshim, Myungsoo, Dalbong and Seowool were kinda bored cus they had nothing better to do but just wait for Minhyuk’s orders. However, Changsoo has more authority than Minhyuk but he is just observing the situation since Minhyuk is the director of this whole show.

“Hey Minhyuk! What about us?” Changsoo asked not knowing what the others should be doing.

“You are actually the boss Changsoo! If you don’t like how I’m running  things please let me know…” Minhyuk said while laughing.

“I think you are doing fine…I didn’t interrupt you because it seemed like you didn’t know what you were doing but…..what about my Bongsoon? Aren’t you gonna give her something to do?” Asked Changsoo because he didn’t want his girlfriend to feel left out.

“Changsoo don’t worry, I’m fine … .even if I just get to do something very small…” said Bongsoon. She was a little disappointed because when she initially came to the drama club, she was gonna be the main female lead but her role is way smaller than some of the others that came in later.

“Okay, Bongsoon…how about you and Changsoo kiss each other while all this madness is happening. Kyungshim and Myungsoo should act like clueless dummies that are freaking out. Finally, Dalbong and Seowool should just stare at each other innocently.

Minhyuk made everyone act accordingly to the way the script is written but he decided to use a lil adlib to make it goofier than the way Jen wrote it. Once everyone got the gist of their roles, he wanted all the boys to come to the stage and dance to the music that Insoo wrote. However, Seonwoo and Insoo weren’t exempt from it either.

“After we practice what I instructed you to do, I need all the boys to come up on stage and dance to the music that Insoo wrote, okay?!”

“What?” Yihyun complained. 

“Jung Yihyun, do you have a problem with this?”

“Yes, I think it would be ridiculous for me to go up there and dance like a fool!” Yihyun complained.

“It won’t be that bad, Yihyun! You will get the hang of it…” Minhyuk said trying his best to calm him down.

“We are really gonna do it like a musical number?” Seonwoo was a little taken aback. He wasn’t completely against it nor embarrassed about it like Yihyun but he still thought that this is so random. 

“Wow! All the guys dancing like those silly musical stars is such a good idea! It would be so much fun!” said Jiyi out of the blue.

“At least somebody here agrees with me.” Minhyuk said laughing out loud.

The drama club members rehearsed till Minhyuk was satisfied and then had Seonwoo film them. He was satisfied with everyone’s acting performance and even the musical number that they just finished. 

“Okay! I think we are all ready for tomorrow!” Minhyuk said happily.

“OKAY!” Everyone said in unison.

“Now that we are ready for tomorrow…let’s do a little silent prayer and ask GOD to bring tons of people tomorrow then we’ll have a little going away party for Sam and Hwan at the local pizza place nearby…!” said Minhyuk.

The drama club members closed their eyes and prayed that the heavens would give them a miracle, a high turn out for their show that they prepared so hard for.

“Alright, let’s go to the pizza restaurant across the way from the school!”

Everyone was happy that they were going to eat pretty soon.

“I’m so hungry!” said Myungsoo.

“Me too!” said Sebom while Yihyun nodded saying that he agrees with her. Sebom and Yihyun do eat a lot but especially Yihyun since he is an athlete and all.

All the drama club members walked over to the pizza place. 

“I will buy the pizza, it is on me!” said Changsoo.

Changsoo ordered several large pizzas for all to share….Sam and Hwan were finally getting used to modern food in the modern world. A lot of people were fascinated by Sam and Hwan eating pizza. 

“Do you like it?” Jiyi asked Sam.

“Yeah…” Sam was also drinking some coca cola.

“I don’t think I will ever forget the taste of coke. I want to be able to replicate this for my people in Shilla.” Said the ambitious Sam.

“It’s so good isn’t it? Unfortunately, I do not have the recipe for this drink…it’s a secret that they won’t give away…” said Jiyi looking sad, pouting. 

“Thanks guys and gals for working so hard, and I’m looking forward to tomorrow…” said Minhyuk.

“Isn’t Minhyuk a good drama club president?” Changsoo praised Minhyuk for his leadership ability.

“I think so!” Seonwoo volunteered to answer that question.

“Oh thank you…and without Seonwoo I don’t think I would be able to run the drama club properly either.” Minhyuk changed a lot. After working with his drama club members, he became less pompous but humble instead.

Changsoo has been learning a lot ever since he decided to help fund Minhyuk’s project. 

Changsoo looked at Sam and Hwan more closely. He observed a lot of sadness in their eyes.

“How do you feel about going back to your timelines soon?” Changsoo asked the two royalties.

“I miss home but yet I kinda don’t want to go back…” said Hwan. He feels more this way than Sam because he knows deep inside that he has to part with Eunsoo pretty soon.

Changsoo felt bad, he wasn’t the type to be emotional about things like this but ever since he’s joined the drama club he felt that he’s becoming more in touch with his emotions.

Eunsoo looked really sad because she knows that her days with Hwan aren’t gonna be very long but at least Jiyi wasn’t feeling so bad because she is going back with Sam to Shilla.

Eunsoo was trying to eat her pizza but she had a hard time and Hwan was staring at her,understanding the pain she’s going through.

“Come on, let’s eat and be merry! Let’s not be sad!” said Jiyi trying to cheer everybody up.

Eunsoo tried her best to not ruin the mood so she just wiped her tears and focused on eating her slice of the pizza.

“I’m gonna really miss this kind of food you people eat.” said Sam.

“I didn’t like it at first and I thought it was too greasy and unhealthy but I like it now…..and I wish Shilla had some of the things you have here now.”

“Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a time machine where we can go back and forth and deliver food to each other?” Minhyuk asked in the most funny way possible.

“That would be nice. I think in the near future that kind of technology might be a thing….” Yeonwoo said confidently.

Jina was eating her pizza while putting her head on Yeonwoo’s shoulder.

“I hope we’ll get a high turnout tomorrow,” said Seonwoo.

“I hope so too,” said Minhyuk.

“Did you think my script was okay? You used some adlib earlier……” Jen felt like her script wasn’t good enough and began to feel worried. She felt like Minhyuk added some adlib to fill in the parts where he thought it wasn’t good enough.

“Don’t worry Jen, you did good! Your script is great! It’s just that I love adding adlibs….it brings out more to what already is, ya know…”

Jen nodded agreeing with him.

“How about my music, Minhyuk?”

“Dude, you are a genius! How did you come up with such a musical number so fast? And I thought the lyrics were good too…I didn’t know you write lyrics man…” Minhyuk was impressed with Insoo’s talent. He felt everybody was talented though.

“You like my camerawork Minhyuk?”

“Yeah! Seonwoo, absolutely! I don’t think my project wouldn’t even exist without you!”

Seonwoo was relieved that Minhyuk actually liked his work. 

Yihyun and Sebom were just concentrating on eating, especially Sebom. 

“Why are you so quiet?” Minhyuk asked Yihyun and Sebom.

“Oh because we are focusing on our food.” answered Yihyun.

“Especially with Sebom, she has to focus on just eating when it comes to food.” Yihyun was almost like Sebom’s spokesperson so she decided to answer for herself once she was done chewing her food.

“Yep, Yihyun is right…..When I’m eating I tend to just focus on eating and nothing else…It’s not because I don’t want to talk.” Sebom let out a small smile.

Dalbong was feeding Sewool while everybody was looking. Kyungshim and Myungsoo thought they were being silly but they weren’t that much different though. 

“Say, Ah…” said Kyungshim, feeding Myungsoo. Everyone knew that Kyungshim treated Myungsoo like a child. At first Myungsoo did not like this but now he seemed to like being spoiled by Kyungshim. 

“Dalbong, don’t do that…you are embarrassing me…I can feed myself.” Seowool said feeling embarrassed, everyone was watching Dalbong feeding her.

“It’s fine…let them look…don’t be embarrassed.” Said Dalbong. Seowool couldn’t believe that this once shy boy is a lot more confident now….

Changsoo put his arm around Bongsoon. Bongsoon looked pretty tired and Changsoo thought maybe they should try to cut this get together shorter than originally planned.

“Bongsoon ah, are you tired?” Changsoo asked sweetly.

“Yeah, a little bit…” Bongsoon started to yawn.

“Hey guys, I think we might need to cut this short….Bongsoon looks kinda tired…I’m gonna take her home…”

“Yeah, that’s okay…..I think everybody probably wants to go home too…right guys?” Minhyuk asked everyone.

“YES!” Everyone answered in unison.

The rehearsal and everything took so much out of them.

“You okay sweetie?” Minhyuk asked Brina. Brina didn’t look tired or anything but he was still worried about her, it’s just what he does.

“No, not in particular.”

“That’s good…I was worried.”

“You are not tired right Jen dear?” Seonwoo asked Jen.

“Why are you copying the other guys?” Jen said while pouting.

“You jealous because I wasn’t the first one to ask you?” Seonwoo said teasingly.

“No….it’s not that….” Jen said and people were slowly starting to get ready to head out from the pizza parlor.

“We should save the farewells for later…Sam and Hwan aren’t leaving just yet….” Minhyuk said……

“We’ll see you tomorrow…… get some rest everyone… You deserve it” Minhyuk said while looking tired himself. 

“Oh one more thing! I forgot to remind you to come early tomorrow! Come about two hours early cus we have to film the rest of the play! We don’t have much left but still we have a few more scenes we need to put on film! Sorry for the inconvenience!” Said Minhyuk.

The drama club members gave Minhyuk the gestures saying that they understand and they will come early tomorrow. The kids showed that by saying okay with their hands.

Before the drama club members left the premises completely, Jiyi interrupted them.

“Hey! All the girls of the drama club listen up! We are gonna have an all girl slumber party at my rooftop apartment so after we are done with our performance, all the girls of the drama club should head over to my place!” Said Jiyi cheerfully. 

And all the girls said in unison…

“Okay, Jiyi! We will!” Then everyone really said their temporary farewells to each other. 

“Bye!” Everyone waved at each other and went their separate ways.

Changsoo dropped Bongsoon off. Yihyun walked Sebom home. Yeonwoo and Jina went back to his apartment via his bike. Dalbong walked Seowool home. Kyungshim dropped Myungsoo off as usual. Minhyuk drove Brina home. Jiyi and Sam drove to Jiyi’s rooftop apartment in her volkswagon Bug. Eunsoo and Hwan walked home together. Seonwoo took Jen back to his house with his bicycle. Insoo was walking home and found a beautiful stray kitten. 

EUNSOO AND HWAN AT EUNSOO’S HOUSE

Eunsoo looked really sad and Hwan didn’t know what to do. He just decided to hug her and stay like that for a while.

“I’m sorry…..I don’t know what to tell you……You have to learn to live without me…you’ll move on…Eunsoo…you are a strong woman…..you can do this….”

Hwan continued while Eunsoo was in tears.

“Besides, I am sure you will meet someone……Trust me….you will…”

Hwan patted Eunsoo on the head.

Eunsoo stopped crying and she was kinda laughing.

“That a girl…..now that’s my girl…” Hwan said, wiping her tears away with his fingers.

Hwan gave Eunsoo a light kiss on the cheeks and said.

“You look so much better when you smile…..please keep it like that even after I am gone…..”

Eunsoo nodded and she decided to be strong and overcome this sadness.

AT JIYI’S ROOFTOP APT

“Look at the night sky, Sam…isn’t it pretty?”

“It is….” Sam was letting out a deep sigh.

“What’s with the deep sigh, is something the matter?”

“No…..but…I can’t believe I…I mean…we are going back to Shilla together….but I feel kinda bad for Eunsoo and Hwan….I heard that Hwan is going back without her….I don’t know what the story is but it’s sad being separated from the one you love….I know what that’s like…”

Sam surprised Jiyi a lot because Sam seems so much deeper than the way the drama Hwarang portrays him to be.

“Yeah, I do feel a little sorry for those two……if fate allows them I’m sure they will meet again but until then they just have to learn how to be strong…”

Jiyi was always optimistic and Sam liked that about her.

“Aro and Moomyung…they can be together…I’m not gonna bother them anymore…” Sam said while staring into Jiyi’s eyes and he leaned in to kiss her.

The two both kissed like movie stars. Jiyi loved the touch of his lips and vice versa.

AT YEONWOO’S APT

“I hope everything will be fine tomorrow.” Jina said with a little concern.

“It will….let’s get some rest.” Said Yeonwoo.

They both laid down on Yeonwoo’s bed cuddling each other. 

CHANGSOO AND BONGOON’S HOUSE

Changsoo dropped off Bongsoon and he finally got home but he was missing her already so he sent her a text message.

“You miss me Bongsoon ah?”

Then he got a reply almost immediately. 

“Yes, I do.”

“Well….I miss you too….I wish you were with me so I can hold you…” Changsoo said while giggling to himself…

Bongsoon sent more messages but he couldn’t really concentrate reading them because his mom came in.

YIHYUN AND SEBOM’S HOUSE

Yihyun wished he was still with Sebom. He had a lot of fun at the pizza place. Even though they didn’t do much except just eating pizza and talking. Yihyun sent Sebom a text, asking about today and the rehearsal then about tomorrow. 

“Are you ready for tomorrow?” Yihyun asked.

“Yeah…there is nothing to be nervous about really…..oh btw, where are your digestive pills? You can bring some of those just in case…” Sebom giggled.

“Oh yea…digestive pills…those things worked wonders whenever we had games….they help get rid of the tenseness.” Yihyun smiled on the other end.

DALBONG AND SEOWOOL’S HOUSE

Dalbong had a great time at the pizza place. He was still thinking about feeding pizza to Seowool earlier and he thought Seowool being shy was so adorable. He wishes she was right there next to him so she could cuddle with him but she is not so he decided to just send her a text message like everyone else from the drama club.

“Hey Seowool, what are you doing? Are you looking forward to tomorrow? You don’t have to be nervous since it’s not a live performance but it looks like we have to shoot a few more scenes before the show starts for the audiences.”

 Dalbong didn’t really mind his role being really tiny and almost non-existent. He is so new to this theater thing that this is just a good beginning to get his feet wet. Dalbong really wanted to be an actor and this was a great place to start honing his possible talent. He thought about being a famous star one day and taking care of his dad so he won’t have to make tofu anymore. Dalbong made up his mind to take his dad’s famous tofu to the club tomorrow, he felt it was appropriate to do so. As Dalbong was deep in thought he got a reply from Seowool.

“Oh…..I should be the one asking you that but you beat me to it, don’t worry dear Dalbong…I’m not worried at all and yeah we will be fine..” Seowool smiled on the other end.

KYUNGSHIM AND MYUNGSOO’S HOUSE

Kyungshim dropped Myungsoo off and she was helping Bongoon’s mom make dinner. They were making something really good tonight and Kyungshim was telling Bongsoon’s mom that she wishes that Myungsoo was here so she could feed him this good food.

Myungsoo was showering and he couldn’t help but to think about Kyungshim. At first he was annoyed by how she treated him like a child but now he actually likes the way she spoils him.

SEONWOO’S HOUSE

Seonwoo and Jen were sitting at their desk. The desk was big enough to squeeze in an extra chair. The two were discussing how to make tomorrow’s play extra special. This artsy couple thought they have a lot on their shoulders because they are playing a large role for Minhyuk’s project.

“I hope that everything will go well tomorrow,” said Jen in a worried voice.

“I’m not worried at all….I feel confident that everything will go well and it will be a success.” Seonwoo smiled at Jen with his moon shaped eyes. 

INSOO’S HOUSE

Insoo was happy that he decided to join in the fun. Insoo thought that being part of the drama club brings so much to his artistic nature as a person. He quit temporarily because of Jen but now he doesn’t have to do that anymore. He is able to be honest with himself and move on. 

While Insoo was heading home, he found a stray kitten and her name was Brina according to her name on the collar that’s around her neck. 

“Meow!” The adorable kitten said

The little kitty cat seemed to be abandoned by her owners and Insoo felt terrible to think such a thing but he decided to take it home temporarily. He thought that this could be a good thing, he needs a companion right now anyways. 

“Come here…Brina…good girl….”

“Meow….” 

Brina jumped into Insoo’s arms and he carried her home. 

MINHYUK AND BRINA’S HOUSE

Minhyuk texted Brina to tell her that he appreciates her a lot for everything she had done for him.

Minhyuk thinks that without Brina’s help running this project would’ve been hard for him.

Brina got a text from Minhyuk.

“Hey Brinnie…are you getting plenty of rest? Sorry for making you work so hard….after the play is over you can rest all you want….with me! Muahahaha!”

“No, that’s fine…I’m actually enjoying it Minnie….But Minnie I miss you,,,”

“You do? So do I! We’ll see each other tomorrow honey! Muah!”
