The next morning comes and Jen is getting ready for work. She was looking through her closet for the perfect outfit and she tried her best to convince herself that she is dressing her best to look the best for work and also for herself, and not for Changsoo.

As Jen was getting dressed, her sister came into the room. 

“Jen! You won’t believe this!”

“What is it,sis?”

“I won two tickets to see PHS for his fan meeting next friday! I got a text from the people who are in charge of the fan meeting last night……I got a text from them a little after you went into your room!”

“Really?!”

“Yeah, I’m planning to go with you…Can you go? Can you leave work a little bit early?”

“Yeah…of course sis…I will ask Deputy Choi if I could leave a few hours early….”

“Okay…Jen…oh wow…you look fabulous…who are you dressing up for?”

“Eh…nobody….I’m dressing up for me sis…geez…!”

“Okay…remember it’s next Friday…here’s your ticket…I’m gonna keep mine with me hehehe..”

Jen’s sister was so giggly. She is normally giggly but she was even more so today but Jen felt so giddy and happy too. Jen kissed her ticket and said.

“Hello…PHS! MUAH!”

Jen was so excited about next Friday, she couldn’t wait. Jen thought that this would be a good way to keep Changsoo off of her mind. Jen walked past her co-workers.

“Good Morning Jen.”

“Oh, good Morning Miss. Kim.

“Good Morning Miss.Jen..”

“Good Morning Mr. Lee.”

Jen greeted everyone that greeted her in a very cheerful voice.

Jen finally got to her office and she decided to politely greet Joongi and asked him to be let out a little early next Friday.

“Good Morning, Deputy Choi.” Jen greeted her boss politely yet cheerfully. Joongi could tell that Jen was in a very good mood.

“Hi Jen, how are you…it looks like you are in a very good mood today.”

“I am in a good mood today, Deputy Choi! So yea…..that reminds me…..do you think I can leave a few hours early next Friday? I have somewhere to be….it’s very important … .I will never ask to leave early after this for a long time ….”

“Yeah…of course…since you are doing this a little over a week in advance there shouldn’t be a reason not to.” Joongi said in a friendly voice.

“Thank you Deputy Choi! I will work super hard!”

Jen went to her desk and started to work cheerfully. She not only took on her own duty but she decided to help her co-workers with theirs too. All of her co-workers thought of her work ethic as great but since she is working even harder they were wondering what was going on with Jen.

While Jen was on her one hour lunch break she got a text from her sister.

“Hey…Jen…I don’t think I can go to that PHS fan meeting with you……I have some work stuff I can’t avoid…I really want to go with you but they won’t let me leave….I have to fill in for someone and it’s an emergency….do you think you can just go with Jiyi? I will give my ticket to you when you get home later….So sorry sis….”

Jen replied.

“Oh no … .Sorry to hear that sis I wanted to go with you…okay, I will ask Jiyi if she could go with me….”

Jen was just eating her lunch by herself just deep in thought then her sis sent her another text with Lee Jiyi’s phone number and she texted Lee Jiyi about the PHS fan meeting. Jiyi was working at the grocery part of the company and as soon as Jiyi got Jen’s text she said she was willing to go since she is a huge fan of PHS as well. 

Jen wasn’t eating with anybody today. Joongi went out to lunch with some business executives. Jiyi was still tied up at the grocery store so Jen felt kinda lonely by herself although she didn’t mind. However Jen thought now is not the time to feel lonely. Jen was looking at her phone, daydreaming about PHS…

“OMG! I can’t wait till next Friday!” Jen was in her fangirling moment and then she felt something tapping her on the shoulder and it was none other than Yoo Changsoo.

“I knew I would find you here…..”

Jen decided not to freak out but took a deep breath quietly and said hello.

“Hello, Director Yoo….” Jen said hi to him very formally. Changsoo didn’t like the way she was addressing him which was way too formal for his liking.

“You don’t have to be so stiff calling me Director Yoo all the time…hmmmm…how about you call me Changsoo Oppa..”

“I can’t. We should remain professional towards each other.”

Jen didn’t even make eye contact with Changsoo. How Jen was acting really bothered him because she was being a little too professional with him and her attention seemed to be elsewhere. 

Changsoo decided to try the method that worked for her before, which was patting her head…..but all he got was a cold response and disinterest. 

“Director Yoo, do you mind…?Can you please stop with the patting on the head…..?I know you are a very friendly man but this is a professional setting and we should remain professional at all times.” Jen tried being so cold but she was feeling so bad everytime she treated him this way. It’s even more so because she likes it when he does that. 

Changsoo felt a little hurt but he wasn’t gonna give up. He decided to come up with a different approach and he had this one tactic under his sleeve that tends to work with most girls/women. 

Jen finished eating but she discovered something on the ticket as she was looking at it. Changsoo was still sitting there dumbfounded. Although, Jen was so into her moment to meet her celeb crush PHS that she almost treated Changsoo as an invisible person. 

“OMG! VIP BACKSTAGE TO MEET with PHS?!” Jen couldn’t believe her eyes. She thought her sister just won like a regular fan meeting ticket but when she read all the details of the ticket, it was a VIP BACKSTAGE pass to meet PHS face to face……Jen said it so loud that the others having lunch heard her. PHS is so popular among so many women that the other females eating lunch came towards Jen and asked her….

“OMG…PHS? REALLY? BACKSTAGE? GIRL, YOU ARE SO LUCKY!”

Changsoo felt so ignored. He wasn’t this way…He was wanted by so many women and as soon as he gave up that fancy lifestyle he got treated like cold rice. Changsoo didn’t regret it though because Jen is one of a kind and this girl is quite the catch but he wanted to change tactics. Changsoo was more determined to make Jen look at him and him only.

Changsoo didn’t say a word but let Jen be, he felt like no matter what he does it’s not gonna come through to her anyways.for now…

Joongi was gonna plan the company dinner that they were talking about but he was thinking that it would be best to do it two weeks from now. 

Changsoo went back into his office feeling depressed. 

“What the heck happened to my love cell? Where did it all go? That darn Jen killed it all!” 

Changsoo decided to call Yoonha.

“Hey, let’s meet.”

“Oh…..what’s going on with you? It’s so weird you called me first…”

“Let’s go out…Let’s go clubbing tonight…” Changsoo said aggressively.

“Sure…Are you gonna come and pick me up?”

“No, I want you to come to my office…and we will leave in my car together….”

“Sure…I will be there before you get off at 5:00…..”

Changsoo was kinda mad or more like he was jealous. When he saw Jen smiling with googly eyes, looking at someone on her phone made him burn with anger. Changsoo realized that he was just a celebrity but he overheard that she’s gonna actually meet him in person face to face which bothered him tremendously. 

Jen’s lunch break was over and she worked extra hard than the other days since Deputy Choi is gonna let her leave early but she also felt bad for treating Director Yoo the way she did.

Yoonha arrived at Changsoo’s office.

“Hey Yoonha sit down…..” Changsoo never treated Yoonha sweetly like she did with Jen. They have known each other since they were kids but for some reason he never felt anything for Yoonha but right now he needs her……..this is kinda going against his rule though because he doesn’t like being used but he is planning to use Yoonha to get to Jen somehow….

“What club are we gonna go to?”

“I don’t know,you pick…”

“Thanks, Jen…you worked really hard today….” said Deputy Choi.

“Oh your welcome, Deputy Choi…” said Jen.

Jen couldn’t wait to get off work because her plan was to go watch PHS stuff and listen to his music. She was in full fangirl mode and this is certainly helping her get Changsoo out of her mind. 

“By Deputy Choi! Bye everyone!” Jen greeted everyone cheerfully as she was leaving the office. 

Jen was so in a hurry that she bumped into Changsoo and Yoonha.

“Oh sorry, I didn’t mean to bump into you…I’m in a bit of a hurry….” Jen said while huffing.

Jen excused herself and left so quickly that Changsoo was very dumbfounded by this. 

“I don’t want to go anymore.” said Changsoo in a bad mood. His plan backfired.

“Why? Why are you changing your mind? I was looking forward to tonight……”

“JUST GO AWAY YOONHA! LEAVE ME ALONE!”

Yoonha felt scared, she never heard him this angry before but she didn’t mind because she was in love with him.

Yoonha decided to seduce him and she was so glad that she dressed in her unusually sexy outfit.

“You don’t think I look sexy?”

“NO!”

Yoonha kissed his right ear and whispered into it.

“I think you are so hot…I want you to make love to me…..I think your parents would want us to get intimate too…..Your dad wants us to be together for Yumin and Taejin….” 

“No means No! This is not a time and place for this!”

“Why are you acting so holier than thou?! Why are you treating me like a nasty woman? I guess you forgot how you used to be huh? Getting drunk with different women and having sex in your office after hours…!”

“Yeah, that was my past but I don’t want to live like that anymore!” Changsoo exclaimed.

“I’m gonna get the last laugh Changsoo because you won’t be able to win your dad! Your dad is gonna make you choose me over any woman!” Yoonha yelled at Changsoo and stormed out while slamming the door really hard.

Changsoo needed Jen right now but he doesn’t have her cell phone number so he decided to be courageous and call her home phone number. 

“Hello ma’am…Is Jen home?”

“Oh…she isn’t home right now….may I take a message….”

“Ohhh…..ummm….” Changsoo really wanted to ask for Jen’s cell number but didn’t know how to ask without being creepy.

“Oh, I’m sorry ma’am…I will call back later…”Changsoo hung up not knowing what else to say.

Jen’s mom was wondering who the young handsome sounding guy was. 

Changsoo decided to text Joongi. He needed his confidant more than ever before. He never had to go through this kind of stuff with women. Women were always surrounded by him but ever since Jen came that changed for him completely.

“Hey, Joongi…Let’s meet at that bar, at 5:15….” said Changsoo via text.

“Okay, I’m still at a meeting but once I’m done I will go straight over there.” said Joongi. 

The two were finally at their usual hang out bar. This is the hangout spot for them whenever the two want to unwind after a stressful day at work and right now Changsoo needs a lot of support.

“You don’t look very happy, Changsoo. What’s going on?”

“Well…..”

Joongi had a feeling that he is acting this way because of Jen…..

“Oh by the way, we are gonna have that company dinner two weeks from now…..”

“What?! Two weeks?! Why so long!?”

“There’s a reason…..just try to endure till then….”

Changsoo was drinking like a fish tonight to numb the pain.

“You know, Yoonha came by today……and she was all over me but I didn’t budge…she really does not turn me on…..I don’t see her as a woman at all.”

 This broke Joongi’s heart because he liked her and she didn’t give him any attention but instead gave all of her attention to his best friend. Ironically, Joongi was able to relate to Changsoo for not getting the kind of attention from someone he loves but at the same time it was difficult to see a woman he likes into his bestie. 

Changsoo was so drunk that Joongi had to call a taxi for him since he couldn’t drive in that state and he was in no position to drive home either cus he had quite a few to drink.

When Jen got home, Jen’s mother wanted to talk to her.

“Jen dear you are home…”

“Hi mom…”

“Earlier some handsome sounding young man called asking for you but hung up as soon as I told him that you’re not home……do you have a boyfriend? Are you dating your boss?”

“No…mother….I am not….” Jen said in a frustrating tone of voice.

“Oh Jen….there you are!”

Jen’s sister came down to the living room. 

“Here’s that other ticket…you could give that one to Jiyi…”

“Sis, is it for real … .this ticket is the VIP version where I could meet PHS?! And we get picked up by the Limo and everything?!” 

“That’s right Jen honey….make sure to dress your best!” 

“Thank you sis!”

Jen really didn’t feel like eating a heavy dinner. She made a quick bite to eat and went upstairs to her bedroom. 

Jen was excited to meet PHS in person. She opened up her Ipad so she could watch all of PSH performances and she was so happy at this very moment. Jen fell asleep while listening to PHS songs.
