YIBOM AT THE ICE CREAM PARLOR……

Yihyun is not too experienced with women. He spent most of his young years in baseball so he is not too good with girls or anything matters of the heart. Yihyun does like Sebom, he fell in love with her from the moment he saw her.

“What kind of Ice cream do you want, Sebom?”

“I don’t really care because I love all kinds of ice cream……just surprise me..” Sebom said while patting him on the shoulder.

“Okay, I will go get some ice cream…I will pick out the flavor like you asked.”

Yihyun was nervous because he had never gone out on a date with a girl before. 

Yihyun picked three flavors and got three scoops of ice cream. The three flavors were Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla. 

“Wow! Hyun ah…..I love all the three flavors you picked! You are such a genius?”

“Am I?”

“Yup!” 

“But I only got one spoon, so I could spoon feed you, are you okay with that?” 

“That’s fine…I don’t care sharing spoons with people….I’m not a germaphobe like a lot of people….

Yihyun liked how Sebom is just so cool unlike a lot of girls he’s seen over the years. He has a lot of fangirls chasing after him, they know nothing about baseball but they are just all over him, he didn’t like that.

Yihyun was about to fall into Sebom a bit more when he found out about one of Sebom’s hobbies. 

“I used to love eating hotdogs, ice cream and drinking soda while watching baseball with my dad. I never really got along with my mom. I remember my parents used to fight all the time but the only good memories I had with my family member was my dad….We loved watching baseball together.”

Sebom was telling Yihyun about all the baseball knowledge she’s collected over the years and Yihyun was amazed.

“You know all that? Wow! I hate to say this but most girls around me don’t know anything about baseball and since my passion is baseball my conversation with them never went anywhere…We would just bore each other…” Yihyun laughed really loud and the other patrons were looking at him funny. However, Sebom thought it was kinda cute.

“Thanks for the Ice Cream Hyunah…this is so good….Any kind of food makes me happy but Hot dogs, Ice Cream and soda really does hit the spot…Yum Yum!”

“I’m glad…I’m glad you are enjoying it…”

Yihyun couldn’t help but to stare at Sebom and he stared back at him.

“I think I should take you home…..” said Yihyun.

“Okay, let’s go!”

“This is my house.. And thanks for the Ice cream…Next time I will treat you.,,,,”

“No, you don’t have to do that…” Then Yihyun was playing with Sebom’s bangs again…

“Your bangs are always covering your beautiful eyes….Sebom…….” Yihyun started to gaze into her eyes and began to lean in closer to her…..” Sebom was drawn to the gaze and took a step forward as well….

Finally the two met with a kiss.

“I think I like you Sebom…will you go out with me?”

“No duh! When I said okay to  this ice cream date I said yes, you dork!”

Yihyun used his thumb to play with her face, gazed at her some more and gave her a proper kiss. Sebom was so addicted to his lips that she returned it with full force. 

 MINBRINA AT THE AUDITORIUM

Minhyuk was sweating a lot, so much has happened. Minhyuk was going through a lot but he was able to overcome challenges due to Brina, she was always there to cheer him on and also give him sound advice. 

“Thanks for always being there for me, Brina…..without you I think I would’ve quit being the president for this drama club already.” Minhyuk sighed while staring into Brina’s eyes.

“Don’t say that, it’s not just me…give yourself some credit…..I think you really do have the chops for being a leader and I am proud of you….” Brina said with a big smile.

Minhyuk had a real reason for being sweaty. It wasn’t just the stress of running the drama club and a lot of things happening but he had another reason that was making him nervous and sweaty.

While Minhyuk was taking his time to pop the question, Brinnie had an idea. 

“Minhyuk, I had an idea…..I think we should throw a going away party for Sam and Hwan…..”

“Yeah, you have a point….we been through so much since they’ve been here and they have as well so I guess it’s appropriate to throw them a nice farewell party….” Minhyuk said while smiling at Brina.

“Oh…you have the brightest ideas…Brinnie…You are sweet, smart, and kind…What would I do without you darling?”

“Oh quit it Minhyuk…” Brina was blushing again and Minhyuk loved it whenever she did that. Minhyuk went over to Brinnie and gave her a big fat kiss on the cheeks and pinched them afterwards then he was back to reality again.

Minhyuk wanted to give her the thing that was in his pocket and Brina noticed. 

“What is it? What’s inside your pocket?”

“Ohh nothing….Umm well….uhhh..” 

Minhyuk decided to bite the bullet and showed her the box.

“Here, take it…”

“What is this?”

“It’s a box…a fancy one too. Do you like it?”

“ I don’t know, I don’t even know what it is…”

“Well, open it…”

Brinna opens it and finds a ring in there and she has no idea what that means…

“Why…it’s a ring but why Minnie?”

“Well….I know we are still young so I can’t say that I’m proposing to you or anything but it’s a ring that has  a meaning of deep love…..so one day I want to propose to you when we are older so don’t give yourself to any other boy…okay Brinnie?”

“Oh Minnie…of course not, you are the only one for me!”

Then Brina went over to Minmin and gave him a fat kiss on the lips while putting her arms around Minnie’s neck.

 SEONWOO AND INSOO AT THE COFFEE SHOP

Seonwoo wanted to make things right with Insoo again. Also, he wanted to be able to convince Insoo to come back so he could help write the songs for the musical. They don’t have much time and Insoo is able to write songs fairly quickly.

Seonwoo was looking at his professional camera. He did a lot of filming but he also took a lot of still images with his professional camera. He was looking through all the stuff that he’s taken while taking a sip of his drink. Also, he was thinking about how he should mend things with Insoo and convince him to come back to the drama club to help with the music for the musical number.

As Seonwoo was kind of out of it, Insoo was heading towards where he was sitting. Then Seonwoo saw Insoo coming towards him.

“Hey, Insoo over here!” Seonwoo waved at Insoo with a smile. He was happy to see his friend again and was excited to have a real man to man chit chat for once in such a long while. 

“Hey Insoo, how have you been?”

“I’ve been good, just writing music and thinking about what I should do next…”

“Hey….I was thinking that we should still remain good friends…..despite what happened..I understand…sometimes feelings are hard to control…..”

“Thanks, Seonwoo, you don’t have to worry about that…I’m still getting over Jen but don’t worry it will happen 100 percent, sooner or later….”

“I know … .so are we still friends? Can we still hang out and such?”

“Yes of course, Seonwoo, no doubt about that…”

“Oh and Insoo, I called you over here for something else besides mending our friendship…”

“What is it,  Seonwoo?”

“Can you come back to the drama club? We need you right now…We are in a bit of a crisis….We need someone to write the musical number for our play……but with you being gone we haven’t been able to replace a talent like you…..please…Insoo…can you come back? At least for a week….”

Insoo saw the desperation in Seonwoo’s eyes so he decided to give it a green light.

“Okay, Seonwoo…I will…since it’s only gonna be for a week, it doesn’t seem like a bad deal….”

“Thank you, Insoo…You are a lifesaver…”

Seonwoo and Insoo gave each other a big hug as if nothing happened. 

 CHANGBONG IN CHANGSOO’S CAR

Changsoo is driving Bongsoon home but little does he know that Bongsoon’s mom is planning to make him stay at her house for dinner. Bongoon’s mom has been going to the Buddhist temple quite often so her daughter can possibly get with the prince charming Changsoo.

Bongsoon’s mom is making dinner for everyone but she wants to make it fancy to impress her possibly rich future son in law Yoo Changsoo.

Changsoo was driving his car, driving Bongsoon home but Bongsoon was curious about something. Changsoo is so good at driving but he barely got his license. 

“Hey, I’ve been curious…Why do you drive so smoothly when you barely got your license…” Bongsoon was always curious about this cus most people her age don’t even drive. Just about all the people in the drama club don’t drive except for him,Minmin, and Kyungshim. 

“I don’t know I guess it’s just in me…I have a lot of talent you know…”

Bongsoon thought that Changsoo is very arrogant like Minhyuk but he is very charming because of it…..He is not arrogant in an off putting way but rather in a charming way.

Bongsoon got a text from her mother saying that she had finished setting the table and the dinner was ready for the both of them. 

“Bongsoon, dinner is all ready, so please come home as soon as possible with your man, okay dear?”

Bongsoon looked at the text and couldn’t help but to laugh….

“My mom is so weird…” Bongsoon said.

“What did your mom do this time?” Changsoo was beginning to worry.

“Oh nothing…you will find out…” Bongsoon laughed. 

 YEONJINA ON YEONWOO’S BIKE

Jina loved bike rides with Yeonwoo. She felt like a little girl and her little boyfriend is making her feel free. Jina loves having little moments together like this with Yeonwoo. She is also very happy that his family really likes her, especially Yeonwoo’s grandma…she practically treats her like a future grand-daughter in law. 

“My grandma really adores you, Jina..” 

“I know…sometimes I can’t understand why … .I think I could be mean spirited but she likes me anyways……..being loved by older people really cheers me up…you know that I grew up in a broken home so I was never loved properly….”

“You are a sweet girl…thanks for being by my side when everyone looked at me funny…..If it weren’t for your support I don’t think I would have made people realize that there are other ways to look at things…..”

“I have learned a lot since we joined the drama club, what do you think?”

“Yes, I have…even more so with you babe…”

All of a sudden Yeonwoo stopped his bike and kissed Jina on the lips while she was still sitting on the back seat of the bike.

 EUNHWAN AT EUNSOO’S HOUSE

 Eunsoo got home and opened up her laptop and her mom sent her a bunch of emails regarding her family tree and family history. Hwan was out in the balcony looking up at the stars wondering if Jaeyi and everyone is okay but at the same time he was sad that he might have to say farewell to Eunsoo…..He wished they had more time together to spend but at the same time he was eager to go back to Joseon. 

Eunsoo opened up her email and started to read what her mother sent her. 

“Eunsoo…..it looks like we are related to Min Jaeyi…” Eunsoo’s mother said matter of factly, not wanting to share this news with her. 

Eunsoo saw the diagram and the chart of their family tree and it broke her heart. Despite some hesitation she was really considering going back to Joseon with Hwan but after seeing and reading her mother’s email regarding Min Jaeyi, she just couldn’t anymore. This broke her heart so much that she ended up sobbing with a lot of sound and this got Hwan’s attention who was sitting out in the balcony looking up at the night sky. 

“Eunsoo…what’s the matter? Are you okay?” Hwan was worried about his modern love Eunsoo. 

“I got an email…”

“What email…” 

“I got an email from my mom…..she said….she said….that I’m related…” Eunsoo kept on crying, with tears streaming down her face. 

Hwan just held her as she was trying to wipe away her tears.

“Related? Related to whom?”

“Min Jaeyi….”

“Yes…remember I told you that my mom’s side of the family has the last name Min…and I was kinda curious so I had my mom do some research on our family tree…my mom really likes genealogy and stuff so……I asked her to email me the detail of our family tree if she is able to find it and she did…..now I have this email saying that I am…we are related to Min Jaeyi…your love back in Joseon….”

“How could this be…this is heaven toying with us….This can’t be….”

“Hwan I love you and I want to be with you and I even considered going back to Joseon with you but I can’t…I can’t leave…..with you….”

Hwan gave her a huge hug and even a passionate kiss in the mouth. Hwan took a deep breath and as he was wiping her tears away he said gently….

“Don’t worry, you don’t have to come back with me and I think you might find someone that’s even better than me…..I will pray for you…I pray that you will meet someone to replace me…..And when I go back to Joseon I wont forget about you even with Jaeyi by my side….”

 JEN AT JEN’S HOUSE

 Jen was okay with not having Seonwoo by her side, it would be nice to have him by her side all the time but right now she was more determined to finish the script with the information that she has on hand right now.

Jen went to freshen up so she could be wide awake to start getting into her writing mode but she started to miss Seonwoo a little.

“Jen, focus…this is not the time to miss Seonwoo….He is with you in spirit so keep up the good work girl!” Jen decided to be her own cheerleader for today. 

 Jen was wide awake to get into her full blown writing mode. She looked at her phone wallpaper which is of her and her man. She looked at it then kissed it for some good energy.

“Alright! Let’s go!” Jen was determined to go at it full force and she succeeded. Jen managed to get the script all done and as she was about to lay down in bed for some good rest she got a call.

“Oh hey…Seonwoo darling, what’s up?”

“I’m done over here….with Insoo……do you want me to come and pick you up? How did your writing go without me?”

“It went well…I kissed your picture on my phone before I started writing and I got some good energy because of it! I managed to finish the script! I was on a roll!” Jen was happy and bragging about her success.

“I will be right there! I miss you!”

Jen was getting ready, she packed up her bags and waited for Seonwoo to pick her up. 

Seonwoo was already here. He picked her up on his bike and took her to his house. Fortunately, they don’t live far away from each other.

“Did you miss me?”

“Of course I did!”

They finally got to his house. And just like Minhyuk….Seonwoo had something prepared for her. The other day without Jen knowing, he bought a nice box of chocolate and a ring.

“I have something for you…….Here put this on….I want people to know that you are taken……..we are too young to be engaged or even get married but at least with this ring, it symbolizes that you are mine….forever..”

“I will take it….wholeheartedly!”

“Seonwoo ya, you are so sweet.!”

Jen and Seonwoo were in Seonwoo’s room just making out now. 

“We should stop…Seonwoo ya…your mother might walk in on us….”

“Don’t worry, she already knows that we do this and besides she already thinks of you as her daughter in law anyways…let’s continue…”

“Oh Jen…my dear baby girl…I love you very much!”

“Me too my darling Seonwoo!”

Jen and Seonwoo made out for a long while. And they both realized that they have to get ready for bed soon.

 SAMJI AT JIYI’S ROOFTOP APARTMENT

Jiyi was so excited to share her love for this drama with him. She was such a Hwarang fan that she bought a DVD set even though she is able to watch it on all the streaming sites. 

Sam was excited to see how the modern people of Korea portray The Hwarangs and Shilla. 

Jiyi put the DVD on…she is such a big time Hwarang fan that she got one of those special edition collectors DVDs with making ofs, interviews and all kinds of special features. Jiyi didn’t want to brag about this; she just wanted to cuddle and watch one of her favorite shows with her man.

“Okay….here goes nothing! Get ready! This is gonna be good!” Jiyi said in her giggly but excited voice. 

Finally they were watching the show together. Sam was intrigued yet amazed that modern Korea was able to replicate his character, Moomyung, Aro,other Hwarangs and even Shilla in general.

“Wow, you modern people are amazing. This is just like back home!”

Sam couldn’t help but to be teary eyed.

“Do you miss your home that much?”

“Yeah…I guess so although I don’t want to leave the modern world but I really miss my home Shilla…it’s very dear to me…” Sam’s eyes were all damp and Jiyi felt bad. Jiyi wiped his tears away with her fingers.

“Sammy, don’t cry, you are gonna be going back in a week anyways…”

“That’s true…”

“Is that the guy you like?” Sam asked, pointing at the actor that played him.

“Who is he? That guy really is able to portray me very well! Who is that man playing me?” Sam was curious as to who portrayed him because he was amazed by his performance. 

“Well…your character is portrayed by Park Hyungshik…..he is such a gorgeous actor and Modern Korea loves him and also he is loved by women all over the world……. Not just Korea…”

“Oh….” Sam wasn’t teary eyed anymore, Jiyi’s silly antics were making him kinda giggle. Sometimes Sam hates the fact that Jiyi makes him act out of his character…his normal self. He might take this part of himself he learned from Modern Korea back to his beloved home Shilla. 

Sam was so amazed by the performance, the acting, the portrayal of the characters, the clothes from that time period, the politics of that time period, Sam’s relationship with Aro and the others, the set, the architecture and props really mesmerized him because they were able to replicate very well.

“I can’t believe how you modern Koreans are able to replicate my home so well…”

“Yeah I’m amazed too while watching although people do complain about how the show was a bit scattered brained and all over the place so people’s reactions were actually half and half…”

“So are you a fan of that…Park Hyungshik?”

“Yeah…I am…before I liked Changsoo once I came into High School and before you came along I had a giant crush on that actor…”

“Oh, did you?”

“I really like this show and Park Hyungshik but ever since you came into my life that has changed…”

“You really want to go back to Shilla with me?”

“Yes, I do…I haven’t changed my mind and I won’t”

“I love you my lady Jiyi!”

“I love you to Mr. Sammy!”

The show was still playing but Jiyi and Sam just held each other to sleep.

DALWOOL IN FRONT OF SEOWOOL’S HOUSE

Dalbong walked Seowool home. They didn’t go straight to Seowool’s home but Dalbong thought of this idea where they would stop by somewhere. Dalbong had something for her and he felt like he had to do this today. Dalbong took Seowool to this area with a nice fountain. He bought her some frappuccino. He wanted to tell her about his past and also give her something special before he took her home. 

The frappucino that Dalbong bought Seowool had a lot of whip cream so she had some whip cream on her lips so Dalbong thought that this could be a good chance for him to take action. 

“Seowool ah…. Ya know…I’ve been wanting to…..”

“What is it…..”

“I want to give you a little gift…”

“What is it, Dalbong….tell me…”

“First, I want to tell you about my mom…..My mom passed away after giving birth to me…..and she got my name from her dream……My name Dalbong is from my mom and dad’s name…..My mom’s name was Dalja and my dad’s name is Soonbong…That’s how they got my name….” Dalbong said softly….

Seowool felt emotional and couldn’t help but to feel sympathetic towards him.

“I didn’t know you had such an emotional story like that….”

“You know…my elderly grandpa practically raised me because both my parents passed on due to a car accident…”

“Sorry to hear that…..”

All of a sudden everything got quiet then Dalbong said it again.

“Seowool ah…I want a gift from you…I know it’s not even my birthday but I still want a present from you…”

“What is it, Dalbong…”

Then Dalbong gave her a light peck on the cheek then Seowool’s eyes started to sparkle…

“Dalbong…” Seowool was speechless and then He just went for it.

Dalbong leaned in and held her face romantically then gave her a passionate kiss. At first it was just him kissing her but she decided to be brave and kiss him back.

“I like you alot, Seowool ah.”

“Met too…” 

Dalbong took Seowool safely home then he got home safely as well. He saw his father closing shop and decided to help him. Dalbong also thought about taking some of his famous father’s tofu to the drama club tomorrow so he could brag to everyone how proud he is of his dad. 

MYUNGSHIM AT BONGSOON’S HOUSE

Kyungshim brought Myungsoo to the house cus she wanted to introduce him to Bongsoon’s mother. Bongsoon’s mother is like a second mother to her so she thought it was appropriate for her to do so. Kyungshim was gonna originally take him home first but decided to stop by Bongsoon’s place, introduce him to Bongsoon’s mom then take him home.

They both arrived at Bongsoon’s house and Kyungshim saw Bong’s mom cooking and she was wondering who this feast was for. Also Bongsoon’s mom was curious as to who the boy next to her was.

“Kyungshim ah, who is that boy?”

“Oh him…he is my servant?”

“What! No I am not!” Myungsoo didn’t know what else to say.

“Shuddup dummy!” Kyungshim said.

“Yes ma;am!” Myungsoo said while cowering down.

“You are doing a great job Kyungshim…..that’s how you raise a boy into a man!” said Bongsoon’s mom while laughing.

“Who is all this for? Who is the feast for? Don’t tell me it’s for…?”

“You guessed it…it’s for son in law Yoo!”

Bongki and Bongsoon’s dad felt like the mom was overreacting with all this stuff.

“Honey, who said that Changsoo boy wants to marry our daughter anyways? Rich people don’t operate that way…” said Bongoon’s dad.

“Yup, dad is right!” said Bongki.

Finally, Changsoo and Bongsoon arrived.

“Oh you are finally coming home? Oh I know why you are late…were you guys kissing in the bushes before coming home?”

“Mom! Don’t say stuff like that! You are embarrassing me!”

“What is there to be afraid of…he is gonna be my son in law soon…”

Changsoo thought Bongsoon’s mom was quite the character but he couldn’t help but to like her silly antics.

“Son in law, come here…eat…I made all this for you…..”

Bongki was upset because his mom never set the table this fancy for both him and his sister…

“Eat to your heart’s content son in law…”

“Yes, ma’am…”

Myungsoo was eating with them too and he felt so very awkward. He was giving hints to Kyungshim that she should take him home already.

“Oh son in law Cho….!” Bongsoon’s mom said.

“Pardon?” Myungsoo was confused.

“I’m like a second mother to Kyungshim and I take it that you are her boyfriend so I’m gonna call you Son in law Jo from now on…”

Myungsoo hated this because he wasn’t ready for things like this yet…He wanted to play around some more.

Everyone was eating, drinking and being merry but it was already running late. Bongsoon’s mom told Changsoo that he should spend the night but he politely turned it down. He’s able to drive home this time since he didn’t really drink any alcohol.

“Thanks mother for your lovely dinner and hospitality.” Changsoo said politely. 

“No problem…please come by often…” Bongsoon’s mom said with a smile.

“Be good to my sister and if you don’t hahahaha…drive safe….” Bongki tried to be friendly to his sister’s boyfriend.

Bongsoon’s father wanted to have a quick talk with Changsoo before he took off…

“Don’t try to do anything with my daughter, she is still my little girl.. Understand?”

“Yes…sir…I won’t do anything to her..”

“Okay, then go on…” said Bongsoon’s father.

Everyone went back inside the house except for Bongsoon.

“Your family is something else…”

“Sorry, Changsoo…I feel embarrassed..”

“Oh..you don’t have to….”

Changsoo and Bongsoon were staring at each other. Changsoo wanted to kiss her but he was very careful and as he was about to take action, he heard something in the background.

“KISS HER KISS HER KISS HER!”

It was Myungsoo and Kyungshim. They were out cus Kyungshim’s gonna take Myungsoo back home.’

“Good Luck Changsoo! I cheer you on!” said Myungsoo as he was hopping into her car.

“I am gonna allow you to kiss her but don’t go any further okay? Or else!” Kyungshim showed Changsoo her deadly fist.

Kyungshim and Myungsoo finally left the premises.

“Sorry, I have a weird friend too…”

Finally the moment where the two could be together without any interruptions.

Changsoo took a few steps and so did Bongsoon then he gave her a gentle hug. Then Changsoo lifted her chin up and they both stared into each other’s gaze for several minutes……Changsoo slowly leaned into kiss Bongsoon. The kiss was sweet, tender, romantic and even passionate. Bongsoon has never been kissed by a guy before, let alone a former womanizer. Bongsoon was able to tell that he is a good kisser, what else can you expect from  a guy with tons of experience. 

“Bongsoon ah, I think I love you……here’s a ring to symbolize our love……please don’t take it off……”

Bongsoon was surprised about this but very happy.

“Nevermind about the I think I love you, I LOVE YOU DO BONGSOON!” Changsoo exclaimed.

“I better get going before your brother and father come out to beat me up….”

“Drive safely, Changsoo! I love you too!” yelled Bongsoon and Changsoo blew her a kiss then drove off.

All the Drama Club members were able to experience love ever since they were a part of this place. Although some might have to say their farewells despite the feelings of love.
