AT THE DRAMA CLUB

The lightning on top of the ceiling really made everyone look in that direction. 

“WOW!”

Sam and Hwan looked at the lightning closely because it was somewhat connected to the dark portal.

The lightning all of a sudden spoke to the drama club members.

“I am the lightning that gives energy to this club and to this school, the two royalties from the past are sent to the modern timeline for a reason. Now, their times are almost up, they have a week before they could use this portal to go back to their timeline. If not, they would be able to never go back again and that will affect a lot of things…..”

The lightning spoke to all the drama club members and that scared the little bejesus out of them. Changsoo was even more frightened because he never knew that his school had such an energy where lightning is able to speak to them….

Sam and Hwan certainly want to go back to their timeline but they are also sad that they have to leave this modern world that they grew fond of.

The drama club members heard that voice of the lightning and they all were shocked that this school had supernatural energy. 

Seonwoo was so glad that he was alert enough to film this, he thought to himself that this part is the best part that happened in the drama club since it’s very unusual and he likes filming unusual stuff.

Jen was documenting and writing all this down as well to describe the situation as real as possible.

Minhyuk decided to say something about what just happened.

“It seems like everyone is able to agree that we finally found a way to get Sam and Hwan back to their responsible timeline…what do you guys think?”

Changsoo decided to add onto what Minhyuk just said.

“I really did not know that our school had such energy….My family owns this school but I never really looked closely into the supernatural energy that our school has.”

Changsoo was amazed and a little proud that the school his family owns has supernatural energy. Changsoo might not look it from his Chaebol surface but in secret he is a fanboy for sci-fi and fantasy type stuff.

Minhyuk also decided to thank Yeonwoo and Jina for their contribution to solving this weird paranormal mystery.

“Thank you Go Yeonwoo…you’ve been a great help for solving this issue with the time travelers and I thank Jina as well for being his moral support…”

“I really didn’t do much…” Jina said shyly.

Yeonwoo was patting her on the head and said…

“You were a great help….” while whispering in her ears.

Sam and Hwan started feeling a little bit sad because the time with the modern people and the modern world are almost drawing to a close as if the curtains on stage are gonna be closing soon.

“I think we should start rehearsing for the play,” said Minhyuk with a lot of enthusiasm. 

Someone decided to add to that idea and that was Changsoo. Minhyuk was surprised that Changsoo had that kind of air about him.

“How about we add a few musical numbers?” Changsoo said kinda shyly.

“Hmmm…not bad, not bad….” said Minhyuk while nodding his head.

“Changsoo I never thought of you as a creative type….very surprising… HAHAHAHAHAHA!” Minhyuk said in his very pompous theatrical voice while laughing really loud where his laughing sound was able to project through the large auditorium. Minhyuk’s voice is so great that it carries throughout the large theater. 

“It would be great if Insoo could write all the songs for the musical numbers but he is not here now is he?” said Minhyuk, a little disappointed about the fact that a talent like him left not too long ago.

Seonwoo raised his hands and told Minhyuk that he is gonna go talk to Insoo today and maybe he could bring up the musical thing and try to convince him to come back to join them again.

“Ah…Minhyuk…” Seonwoo raised his hand to tell Minhyuk about Insoo.

“I am gonna go meet with Insoo later on after the drama club…..maybe I could somehow convince him to return to the club to help us with writing the songs for the musical number…he is my best friend…I think he might listen to me…” Seonwoo said while smiling awkwardly.

“Okay! Sounds great…..Try to convince your friend, Seonwoo..” Minhyuk gave him that big smile he is quite famous for. Although, he hasn’t smiled like that in a little while because he’s been feeling a little depressed but he is back to his peppy old self again.

“Oh and Jen…I need you to write all the stuff that you documented as scripts when you get a chance…we don’t have much time. We only have a few days because the royalties have to go back to their timelines soon…we only have about a week to make this happen!” Minhyuk said with a lot of pressure but with great enthusiasm as well.

“Okay, Minhyuk! Right on it!” Jen was determined to finish everything within a day. Jen is a very good and efficient writer so she was confident that she was able to finish it in a timely manner. Besides, she could use this day to just focus on the script since she won’t be distracted by Seonwoo cus he’ll be meeting up with Insoo later on. 

The drama club finally felt like a drama club, rehearsing and even doing some acting while when Minhyuk wasn’t happy with the practice performance he would say, “Cut!”

Meanwhile, Yihyun took Sebom to the side real quick to confirm about later on after the drama club meeting was over.

“So I get to buy you ice cream right?”

“Yeah, of course, you think I would say no to food? I love food!” Said Sebom with a giant smile. Yihyun hasn’t seen her smile like this before but food just makes Sebom happy and Yihyun will find out more and more that she is a huge food lover.

Eunsoo was with Hwan…just trying to spend as much time with him as possible because she really knows that the time is ticking.

“We only have one week left to be together…” said Eunsoo looking very sad.

“Have you thought about it? Are you gonna come with me…to Joseon?” Hwan asked in a concerned voice.

“I don’t know…I have a hard time coming up with a conclusion on what I should do…” 

Eunsoo’s mom is super into genealogy and family tree so she asked her mom to make a diagram of her family tree and once that is done send it to her through email or via her social media account. 

Sam and Jiyi didn’t have this worry that Eunsoo and Hwan did because Jiyi already made up her mind to go back to Shilla with Sam.

“I am excited to go to Shilla with you…oh and we should finally watch Hwarang……Let’s do it tonight…when we get home….” 

“Okay, whatever you say, Jiyi…” Sam patted her on the head while staring into her eyes while Jiyi was giggling like a cute little girl then Sam pinched her cheeks and everyone said….

“GET A ROOM YOU TWO!!!!!!!!!!” Everyone at the club said in unison.’

Minhyuk thought he was done for today so he decided to dismiss everyone  but he also had a message for the drama club members.

“Okay, once you get home try to remember that your facial expressions, your tone of voice, and your body movements are very crucial when it comes to acting so please keep that in mind.” Minhyuk wanted to give his actors and actresses some direction since he is the director for the drama club after all.

“Everyone is now dismissed,” said Minhyuk.

Changsoo wanted to thank everyone and he felt like it was his responsibility to greet everyone.

“Thank you for coming and being part of Yumin High School’s drama club..” Changsoo said with a smile. 

As everyone was leaving, Eunsoo went over to Sebom although Sebom was walking side by side with Yihyun. Eunsoo hasn’t chatted with her friend in awhile since she’s been more into hanging out with Hwan. 

Eunsoo was curious about the handsome athletic boy standing next to her.

“Hey Sebom, who is that boy?” Asked Eunsoo quietly. 

“Oh him? He is just a….friend….we are gonna go for ice cream….You want to come?”

Yihyun tapped her on the shoulder trying to stop her from inviting others cus he wanted this to be kinda like a date between just the two of them.

“You know what…I have to go……” Eunshoo was trying to rush out of the theater because she wanted to spend more time with Hwan since there’s not much time left for them.

“I will catch you later, Sebom…” Said Eunsoo while grabbing onto Hwan’s arm.

Sebom saw Eunsoo walking out with Hwan…..

“You know that guy who is with Eunsoo…that is the crown prince that came from Joseon huh?” Sebom asked.

“Yup…he is but him and that other royalty have to go back to their timelines…” Sighed Yihyun…

Yihyun continued.

“I think those two are in some kind of a relationship…I feel bad for your friend because he has to go back to Joseon…..” Yihyun sighed again. On the surface he looks like the type that has no compassion but he does. Just like people would think Changsoo is a heartless womanizer with no creativity but he is quite the opposite of those stereotypes cus of his outer appearance.

“Yeah…..I’m worried for now…..cus I didn’t realize that their relationship was that serious….” said Sebom worriedly.

“Let’s go…” said Yihyun just naturally grabbing onto her shoulder and Sebom looked at his hand and tried to think nothing of it.

Yihyun and Sebom headed down to the ice cream parlor near their school.

Dalbong was gonna walk Seowool home but Jiyi and Sam ran into Seowool so they ended up chatting with each other. Jiyi and Seowool didn’t mind catching up because they haven’t really hung out since Jiyi has been really busy keeping Sam company.

“Oh my goodness friend…you are such a stranger now Seowool…”

“Hey! Jiyi!” Seowool smiled and looked at Sam and Jiyi holding hands.

“Wow, I’m so sorry for not talking to you so much Seowool…you know there’s so much going on……How’s your stay in Seoul been? I hope it’s great…”

“I’ve been well, thanks!” said Seowool while smiling really big.

“Is Dalbong your boyfriend now?” Jiyi asked while smiling.

Seowool looked at Dalbong and back at Jiyi…….. “Well…we are…just…..”

Dalbong interrupted the two girls.

“Yes, she is my girlfriend…” Then Dalbong held Seowool’s hand.

Jiyi was so happy that her friend was doing well and on top of that she has another friend that could make her happy. Jiyi gave Seowool a hug.

“I’m so happy that you are doing well Seowool but I kinda have to get going…we’ll certainly catch up soon … .let’s have a girls day…okay?” 

Jiyi gave a little peck on Seowool’s cheek and she gave one back to Jiyi. They both waved at each other.

Jiyi and Sam got on Jiyi’s volkswagen bug to head to her rooftop apartment to watch Hwarang like they promised each other.

“I didn’t know that Jiyi was your friend…” said Dalbong.

“We grew up together in my hometown in a small village although now it’s more like a small town/small city.” 

“Oh, I see…Let me take you home..”

“Sure!” 

Dalbong walked Seowool home.

Seonwoo wanted to let Jen know that he is supporting her while he is not by her side because he has to go meet with Insoo.

“Babe..you’ll be fine without me right?”

“You and your nagging Seonwoo ya, Don’t worry I’m a big girl…I can take care of myself while you are away talking with Insoo … .Good luck…”

“I will … .thanks babe…..but I will help you with your script tomorrow…”

“Just go honey….” Jen used her hand gesture that he should just get going already.

“Okay babe…” Seonwoo gave Jen a light peck on the lips before he took off to go meet with Insoo.

Minhyuk and Brina decided to stay at the auditorium a little while longer. Changsoo decided to drive Bongsoon home.

Kyungshim drove the lazy Myungsoo home because he didn’t bring his car today.

Yeonwoo and Jina were on his bike heading towards Yeonwoo’s place. Jina really loved him taking her around on his bike, she thought it was very romantic.
