Eunsoo made the crown prince some dinner, she decided to make him something light since it’s a bit late. She made him a little light cucumber sandwich. The crown prince never had a cucumber sandwich before so Hwan was having a hard time getting used to the taste but he was able to eat without too much trouble which surprised Eunsoo a bit.
Eunsoo was staring at the crown prince while he was eating. Her face turned so red that she had to go to the bathroom to wash her face. The crown prince was pretty dense when it came to matters of the heart just like how he was with Min Jae yi back in Joseon.
“This….what is this called? Can you tell me, my lady?” asked the crown prince in his mellow but soothing deep voice.
“Oh…this is called a sandwich … .I’m assuming you didn’t have anything like this in Joseon right?”
“No, never had such a thing…..” Hwan said in his deep but soothing voice.
Meanwhile, Jiyi was making some spice noodles for Sammy. Sammy was thinking of all the people he knows back home in Shilla. He even thought about Aro but he felt like he could just forget about her when he saw Jiyi. Jiyi makes him feel comfortable and at home here. Even back home in Shilla sometimes he felt very lonely deep inside. Some people wanted to use him for his position including his mother, and he felt lonely in the Hwarang warrior troupe of rivalry between other men, especially Moomyung. And knowing that Aro will never return the feelings to him made him realize that he just needs to let it go.
“Here…done..hope you like it…I hope it’s not too spicy…for you….” Sammy liked spicy food, he enjoyed spicy food even back home in Shilla which Jiyi was not aware of at all.
“Thank you my lady…” Sam Maekjong said politely.
“You don’t have to talk like that to me…You don’t have to call me, my lady each time you address me … .Just call me Jiyi…I feel more comfortable that way…” Jiyi said shyly.
“Okay, I will remember that…Jiyi….” Sam Maekjong said while giving her a gentle smile.
Sam Maekjong finished the spicy noodles like nothing.
“That was good!” said Sam Maekjong. He put his arm out meaning he wanted water but Jiyi understood right away.
“Oh you want water?”
Sam Maekjong nodded.
“Here, so sorry but I’m out of water but you should try this…It’s called Sprite.”
There’s no sodas in Shilla just like in Joseon. Sam Maekjong didn’t care as long as he could quench his thirst somehow. He was so thirsty after eating Jiyi’s spicy noodles that he needed something to drink soon.
Jiyi came closer to Sam and he didn’t know how to react. Back home in Shilla, he was the one that took a few steps forward but Kim Aro would be the one that would back track.
Jiyi fell in love with Changsoo, the guy that has a powerful family that owns Yumin high school but deep inside she knows that he is not gonna accept her. For some reason she couldn’t help but to stare at Sam and it was kinda making him feel a little flustered which he doesn’t feel too much back home. He was the one that made all girls feel flustered, even Kim Aro who was disgusted by him felt that way from time to time.
Jiyi thought it was amazing how Sam looked just like Changsoo which she is trying so hard to get over.
Jiyi was studying Sam Maekjong’s face which made him feel very nervous. He couldn’t help but to think that Jiyi was actually cute and attractive…..At this moment he thought she was even more attractive than Aro back home.
Jiyi decided to bite the bullet and just do it…..She kissed him….
“Have you ever been kissed by a girl before?” Jiyi asked in her signature giggly voice.
“Uhhhh…yeah…..I did kiss a girl before but she didn’t seem to like it very much?” Sam didn’t want to get into the details of his love life but he felt comfortable enough to share this pain with Jiyi.
“Oh … .so sorry…..” Jiyi knows what it feels like to be rejected. Sam noticed in Jiyi’s eyes that there was some kind of sorrow.
“You like that Changsoo guy right? The guy that has powerful parents that own the school?”
“Yeah…but you know he doesn’t like me cus Im poor…oh well…that’s life..”
Jiyi was always optimistic and Sam really liked that.
Jiyi kissed him first and it was a very light one but Sam started to stare into Jiyi’s eyes and the stare lasted about a full minute then he grabbed her face then kissed her passionately. Unlike Aro back home. Jiyi kissed him back with everything she had.
Jiyi and Sam kissed for several minutes and Jiyi teased Sam for his spicy noodle breath.
“Sorry…..I know I smell kinda weird…well it’s the food that you made me…” Sam was giggling. Jiyi really succeeded cus nobody back in Shilla was able to make him giggle this way….It was as if he was fully out of character but then again his personality wasn’t like Changsoo at all.
“Do you want to go back home? Ya know…go back to Shilla? Don’t you miss your family? Your friends? Maybe even your lover?”
“Yes, I do but I’m starting to kinda like it here……Once I go back I think I would rule my Shilla kinda differently…”
“How?”
“I want more inventions to happen in Shilla like what we have over here in the modern world … .It would be nice to have all these weird gadgets that you use too…..It’s fascinating….and I would give more freedom to the people as well…”
“Wow, you have big dreams……I applaud it…I like your vision for your Shilla….” Jiyi couldn’t help but to smile.
THE NEXT AFTERNOON AT 3:00 PM AT THE DRAMA CLUB
Everyone all showed up at the Drama club as well. Minhyuk was the head honcho leading the way and his girlfriend Brina was assisting him. Bongsoon was a little disappointed that she is no longer the female lead ever since they had to change things up a bit because of the two royalties that showed up so suddenly.
Seonwoo got his camera and started shooting the daily activity of what’s going on in the drama club while Jen is sitting on the chair with her laptop open, documenting everything that’s happening so she could turn it into a coherent script later in the future.
Insoo was in charge of sound effects, music, and anything that has to do with sound. Soonyoung wanted to help him. Insoo liked Soonyoung as a friend but doesn’t really think of her as anything more.
“Do you need help Insoo ssi?”
“Oh no that’s fine…..I’m able to handle it myself.
Minhyuk tried to take a brief moment to kiss Brina.
“Brina baby…thanks for helping me so much…I love you….Muah!” Minhyuk kissed Brina while everyone was looking. All the drama club members were shaking their heads.
“Stop it…you are embarrassing me…please don’t do this in front of everyone…” Brina was blushing and acting cute in front of Minhyuk and this was driving her crazy.
“Oh my gosh you are so adorbs Brina! Muy Bonita hahahahaha!”
Minhyuk pinched her cheeks and Brina couldn’t help but to feel a little embarrassed.
Seonwoo went up to Jen to make sure she was doing okay.
“Babe, are you doing okay? You are able to document everything right? You don’t need my help right?” asked Seonwoo. He just couldn’t help but to make sure that his Jen is doing alright. Seonwoo has a bad habit of nagging when it comes to Jen because he loves her so much.
“I’m doing good….writing and documenting everything doesn’t seem as difficult as I originally thought.” Jen said with confidence.
Seonwoo gave her a quick peck on the cheeks.
“I’m gonna go film some more……just wave at me or text me if you need my help…” Then Seonwoo went towards the front of the auditorium to film over there, ove where the two royalties are since that’s where all the action is.
Sam Maekjong, Lee Jiyi, Lee Hwan and Lee Eunsoo were sitting on the stage of the auditorium, still trying to get to know each other.
“Jina, you want to help me out with investigating those two royalties? It seems like that Sebom girl and Yihyun are gonna team up and I might need you to back me up if they want to fight against me about my part of the investigation.” Yeonwoo asked Jina softly so nobody would hear him.
“Oh sure…I will help you do some investigation regarding those two royalties over there.” said Jina happily.
“Don’t those four look like a couple?” Jina asked while smiling.
“Who…you mean the royalties and those two girls?”
“Yup…….they look awfully close together…..”
“Maybe……” Yeonwoo wasn’t sure about that. He needed to see more of their interaction to say otherwise.
Sebom and Yihyun approached Yeonwoo and Jina. Sebom had a baseball bat and so did Yihyun so they did look a bit intimidating.
“Don’t you dare try to mess up our investigation,” said Sebom with her bad ass attitude.
“Yeah, if you do, she’ll kick your ass.” Yihyun said while looking at Sebom. Then the two kick ass detectives, Sebom and Yihyun, walked over towards Sam and Hwan.
Jina was so confused as to why they are being so hostile towards them.
“Don’t worry Yeonwoo…..it seems like you are much more well read then those wanna be bad asses….” Jina patted Yeonwoo on the head and encouraged him.
“Thanks Jina…” Then Yeonwoo kissed Jina passionately while nobody was looking and this made Jina so happy.
Meanwhile, Changsoo was monitoring Minhyuk, making sure that he was running the Drama Club properly and not wasting his money … .more like his parents’ money. As of today Yumin High School is fully funding everything that goes around in the Drama Club.
Changsoo kept on looking at Bongsoon and she was constantly looking at him but they tried their best to refrain from doing anything too crazy.
Changsoo decided to just say a friendly hello. Although what he really wanted was her phone number.
“Hi Bongsoon…..!” Changsoo said in a cheerful voice.
“Oh, Hi Changsoo!” Bongsoon was being friendly back to him.
Their interaction didn’t seem too awkward, which they were a little surprised about.
“Did you sleep well last night? Changsoo asked in a friendly manner, not the way he used to though. Back then his voice always came off a bit flirty but now it’s just nothing more than a friendly greeting. He was afraid to ask for Bongsoon’s number cus she didn’t want her to take it the wrong way…”
“Hey Bongsoon….I don’t want you to take it the wrong way….but do you think we can exchange numbers? It’s good to have phone numbers of all the drama club members ya know…” Changsoo was trying his best to just come off friendly but he was struggling.
“Oh yea, sure….here…” Bongsoon punched her number on his phone and vice versa…”
“Thank you Bongsoon.” Changsoo was smiling like a little kid. Bongsoon was smiling too. She hasn’t smiled in awhile, ever since Minhyuk was taken and she was kinda depressed but being friends with Changsoo and his company is actually helping her. Also, this is helping Changsoo too ever since Brina dumped him for Minhyuk.
Kyungshim was observing Bongsoon chatting with Changsoo. Once Changsoo and Bongsoon were done chit chatting, she went over to where Kyungshim was but her friend wouldn’t leave her alone.
“So, are you dating that rich guy now Bongsoon?”
“No, girl…he is just a friend…”
“There is no such thing as a friend when it comes to the opposite sex, trust me girl…I think he likes you….” said Kyungshim in a very matter of fact way.
“Noooo…he is not interested in relationships……after he got dumped…it seems like he is trying to change his ways…Kyungshim ah…”
“No No…I highly doubt that trust…me….he is gonna ask you out soon…you watch…” Kyungshim said in a very frank fashion while using her index finger to let Bongsoon know that she is gonna be the one in the right.
Myungsoo was telling Dalbong how sexy Kyungshim looked and Dalbong was annoyed by him constantly talking about Kyungshim because he was trying to figure out if Kang Seo Wool is the girl that he proposed to at the tender age of ten.
“What’s wrong, Dalbong? You okay?”
“Not really…I think that Kang Seowool girl is the one I proposed to when we were both ten years old!”
“What?!” Myungsoo was shocked. “Why would you do that?!”
“I don’t know…..love at first sight….”
As Dalbong was gonna tell Myungsoo more about Seowool…she was walking towards Dalbong….
