Seonwoo is very happy that he finally gets to kiss the girl he has liked since middle school. Seonwoo gazed at Jen’s eyes and started to pat her on the head. Jen was acting shy, giving Seonwoo her adorable bashful smile and Seonwoo had a hard time containing himself. Normally, he is a very calm guy but this time he had to express himself excitedly.
“Jen ah …you are so adorable…..Oh by the way make sure to wear proper clothes…I know it’s the summer time but I don’t want you to wear clothes that are too thin…you’ll catch a cold.”
“Seonwoo ya, you are nagging again….” Seonwoo always wants to make sure that his Jen is okay so that’s why he can’t help but to nag.
Insoo was so heartbroken. He decided not to say anything…at least for now…..He may be blind but he is well aware of what’s going on.
Minhyuk was laying in bed thinking about Brina and it was driving him mad. He decided to text her.
“Brina…hey…babe….” Minhyuk said in his goofy voice filled with charm.
“Oh, hi Minhyuk, what’s going on?”
“I heard you tried to get some funding from Changsoo…don’t even bother…forget that jerk….Did you forget that I am rich too?”
Minhyuk didn’t like the fact that Changsoo’s house was way better off than his but he was also confident about the fact that his family is rich as well.
The reason why Brina has been trying to get some funding for this play is because Minhyuk is trying to make this high school play, a super high class so that alone would take a lot of money to do.
Minhyuk is so busy right now because he has to act, direct and produce. He is busy just by these things alone but he has to worry about people’s drama too which is driving him insane.
“No, I didn’t forget…it’s just that I thought we could get more funding through Changsoo, his family owns the school…”
“Just forget that womanizer Changsoo … .I will come up with the money…you just worry about promoting the play … .okay? I love you! Oh and don’t forget to dream about me Brina!”
This is what Brina liked about him….Minhyuk is so open and dedicated but while Brina was with Changsoo it was never like this. While they were together for 3 months, he was always getting phone calls from different girls and he would go out with them to the clubs and to the hotels. He just dumped a girl named Lee Jiyi not too long ago because she was poor…..He just went out with her because his friends played this stupid game called, “DARE!”
“Okay Minhyuk….love you too!?”
“What’s with the question mark? Oh and you can just call me Minmin….it’s cute right?” Oh by the way if you have time can you make a sign to look for extras? We need some extras for our play!”
“Sure…Will do….”
After Minhyuk hung up with Brina he was missing her again but he kept on getting text messages from the female lead, Do Bongsoon. Minhyuk thought he was cute and all but he was interested in the exotic latin chick.
Seonwoo and Jen decided it was getting late so they decided to lock up the theater and leave.
“Jen, I really like your stories…you are a good writer….I know you’ll go somewhere with it.”
“I feel the same way Seonwoo, you will be the world’s best cinematographer the world has ever known!”
Jen and Seonwoo just can’t help but to compliment each other.
Once Insoo got home he laid on his bed without changing into comfy clothes. He still had the clothes he had on from early on. He was depressed. He went over to the living room and started to play the piano and decided to write a love song for Jen.
Changsoo was upset that he got dumped by Brina. No girl has ever dumped him before, he was the one that usually did the dumping. He was confused as to if he was being this way cus he missed being with Brina or was it because his pride hurts so much for being dumped first.
As he was sitting on his chair he got a call from Lee Jiyi.
“Changsoo ssi, why did you dump me? I’m not sexy enough for you?”
“No, it’s not that…..I just don’t like you…I’m hanging up.” Changsoo just hung up on her without hearing her out.
Brina was busy making the signs to post on the school bulletin. Minhyuk needs some extras for the play.
The next day came and the Drama club meets right after school lets off at 3pm. Everyone gathered for a meeting to talk about their play and Minhyuk was emphasizing teamwork. A few more guys showed up. Jung Yi Hyun, Cha Dalbong, Jo Myungsoo, Go Yeon Woo, and Kwon Nam Woo saw the ad on the bulletin then decided to see what this was about.
The play that Ahn Minhyuk is working on is his Own version of Hwarang since the TV drama had such a scattered brain so he thought maybe he could do it better. This is the reason why the production cost is so high because they have to get the period wardrobes made out of silk and a bunch of other props that are pretty high in price.
Minhyuk was up on stage telling all the Drama club members about this project and who is gonna be part of the staff and all that stuff.
Everybody was sitting on the chairs of the auditorium listening to Minhyuk’s almost theatrical speech.
Lee Eunsoo and Ahn Soo Young showed up to see if they could get any parts.
Jen and Seonwoo were sitting next to each other and were holding hands. Eunsoo was staring at Seonwoo, but right now Eunsoo has no idea that it’s her childhood friend from elementary school who she lost touch with for a few years. She used to have a crush on him when they were little kids.
Insoo was kinda sitting on the other side of the auditorium near the piano. He was just softly messing with the outer part of the piano while looking really depressed. Minhyuk saw what Insoo was doing and annoyed the heck out of him.
“Seo Insoo, stop being distracted while I am talking! I am talking here!”
Insoo was so embarrassed by what just happened that his face turned red but at least he doesn’t have to see people’s reactions since he is blind. Ahn Soon Young, another blind person heard that name Seo Insoo and she was surprised to hear that name again. She remembers meeting a guy by that name a year ago.
“I decided to redo the story of Hwarang! I want to do my own take on it and do it better than the tv show!”
Some people thought that this was unrealistic for a High School play. Jung Yi Hyun, a star baseball player for Yumin high decided to say something.
“Hey, Mr director! I think this play is unrealistic….you want to do something like this for a high school play?”
Minhyuk was irritated by Yihyun being so outspoken. Minhyuk felt tiny compared to Yihyun. They are the same height but Yihyun is muscular and toned while Minhyuk is really skinny.
Myungsoo didn’t even want to come…He thinks all this is nonsense. He is just gonna inherit his father’s company anyways. He got dragged over here by Cha Dalbong. Myungsoo really doesn’t have any dreams. He just wanted to take naps at the school lounge for well to do kids. Cha Dalbong wanted to find out what he could do for a living since his father and his whole family were worried about his future.
Go Yeonwoo came because his girlfriend Jina Kim pretty much forced him to come. She wanted her boyfriend to try out acting but Yeonwoo is not interested in this kinda thing. He finds drama clubs really boring. He wanted to be part of the chess club, that’s where his interest is at.
Minhyuk was gonna be playing Moomyung from Hwarang but he needed someone who could play Sam Maejong but there was nobody that was suitable to play that role.
Minhyuk is a perfectionist so it was difficult to find the right guy to play Emperor Jinheung of the Silla Dynasty. Minhyuk doesn’t realize that the auditorium has weird super powers so the energy of the place heard Minhyuk’s frustration and all of a sudden two men from different periods of time just dropped right on the floor of the great auditorium of Yumin High School.
