I was thinking about each of the characters that Hyungsik played over the years and I couldn’t help but to think about each of the characters in High School and what type of clique they would belong to. Would they be the nerd? The Artsy type? Drama Club President? Over Achiever? The popular kid? The star athlete/Jock……I’m gonna analyze them and see which type of High School clique each of Sikkie’s character would belong to.
Jo Myungsoo
Jo Myungsoo is the slacker. Through out the show he didn’t seem to be motivated to do anything. His father owns a law firm so he thinks that he could just slack off since he is gonna inherit the law firm anyways…..and If I were to be going to the same high school as him, I would not date the guy…Sorry Sikkie but this is one of my least favorite character of Sikkie. I could kinda see why Bona likes the good student Yoon Chan Young.
Cha Dalbong
Cha Dalbong is the class clown. He would make you laugh and ruffhouse with his fellow classmates. Dalbong is sweet but a bit immature but his sweet personality is what makes people depend on him when they need a good laugh or help cheer them up. Dalbong is the guy I would always say hi to without being shy cus he would make anyone feel comfortable. Although he seems like a bit of a Tsundere type so this class clown would act like a Tsundere towards someone he likes…This guy is BIG DORK CLASS CLOWN!
Yoo Changsoo
Yoo Changsoo would be the popular kid, aka the cool kid. Although, I can’t really see him as an athelete unlike Jung Yihyun. Here in the states, athletes are usually the popular ones. Like the football and basketball players. I can’t see Changsoo play football (Not Soccer), I am talking about American football…..but I could see him playing Basketball. Either way, Changsoo would be the one where all the ladies are following him around. I could see him waving at all the girls saying, “Hello ladies.” and the girls all fall on their knees……For me….I would have a hard time approaching a guy like this…If I were in the same high school as him…..I wouldn’t even talk to him nor talk about him, unless my female friends are telling me about how they have a crush on this guy…..
Sam Maekjong
If this guy was born in the modern times, he would be the go getter and an over achiever. I could see Sam Maekjong wanting it all in school. The good grades, popularity, and he would even try to take his friend’s girl away from him. In Hwarang, Sam Maekjong wanted Kim Aro who was in love with someone else, one of Sam Maekjong’s colleague. Also, he becomes more interested in becoming the King/Emperor, even though part of it is his mother’s influence……I don’t know if I would want to hang around someone like him that’s just a little too into making it……
Seo Insoo
Seo Insoo seems like the artsy type. For one he is a very tall handsome piano tuner. I could see him doing this kinda thing because the actor Park Hyungsik pretty much grew up around the piano due to his mother being a piano teacher and all. Going back to the character Insoo…he is not just the piano tuner but he was carrying around a camera too, this kinda made me think about Seonwoo…At first I wanted to think of him as a photographer until I realized that he is a piano tuner. Like Seonwoo he is the quiet artsy type that would just focus on his projects in the most artistic way possible……I could see Insoo working with Seonwoo and Minhyuk. Maybe all three of them could do a project together. Seonwoo could be the cameraman/cinematographer, photographer, gradphic designer……Insoo could be the guy that’s in charge of the music for the play, and Minhyuk could direct and perform the play……And maybe I could write the play hahaha……Anyways, I think I would totally hang out with this handsome blind dude and maybe even date him…Although I would rather date Seonwoo or Minhyuk…..TBH……
Anh Minhyuk
Ahn Minhyuk would be popular too like Yoo Changsoo but this guy wouldn’t be the player type like Changsoo. He would even be friendly towards people that have confidence issues….He would bring out all the qualities about them through his friendliness. Ahn Minhyuk would be the popular but an artsy guy. I can see him as the drama club president. I would totally befriend this guy unlike Changsoo. I would join the drama club just for Minhyuk’s cute but goofy antics. Oh and I would love to be this guy’s friend and also if he gives me a chance I would totally date this friendly, funny, talented and romantic dude.
Go Yeonwoo
I can see Go Yeonwoo as the chess club president. Yeonwoo has a really sharp memory so I think this guy would be the ultimate nerd. He could be the one helping you solve your math problems that you are struggling with. He is the type that you would make a study group with to get some studying done. Yeonwoo would be very dependable and he will be the one to go to if you have problems with your grades. I would befriend Yeonwoo big time. I would love to get help from him with my math homework or if I have a big test I would totally study with him.
Kwon Nam Woo
I could see Kwon Nam Woo help defend his classmates or friends from bullies. If some kids are being bullied in school he would totally make sure that the school staff knows about it. I could see Nam Woo as the goody goody student. He is a rather normal guy but he is really good academically. I think Nam Woo would be the good student like Go Yeonwoo. I would hang out with Nam Woo just in case I get bullied or something then I would have someone that will take my side….
Jung Yi Hyun
Jung Yi Hyun would be the goody goody baseball player guy in school. He would be the Ace/Star player for his school. I could see him getting good grades but not necessarily an over achiever but still good in school. I could see him stopping the bullies and defending them. I could see Yihyun as a popular guy but probably not as much as Changsoo or Minhyuk but he is still pretty well liked. He would also be liked by the elders like the teachers and parents of the fellow students. I could see Yihyun as part of the student council like the class president or something. I would totally befriend him…No wait, that’s an under statement I would try anything and everything to get this boy to date me! He is smart, hot, cool, nice, friendly, sexy, chill. talented and more…..YIHYUN IS MY MAN!
Han Seonwoo
Seonwoo would be the quiet artsy type. I could see him in the student newspaper/journalism club, the photography club, the yearbook club and so on…..He would be the one listening to everyone’s problems quietly…..He is good looking but he is not as popular as the other guys cus he mostly keeps to himself. Although I would totally approach this guy…Well, most girls would have a difficult time approaching him because they might think he is standoffish for being too quiet……but I would approach him and start talking about artsy stuff then we might hit it off and Voila he is my boyfriend! If I were to be in the same high school as Seonwoo…I would want to get to know this guy cus he seems like the type that would be your friend forever……I would want to have a serious relationship with Han Seonwoo!
Lee Hwan/The crown Prince
Lee Hwan is kinda like Go Yeonwoo, he is able to read something and remember everything. He has a photogenic memory. If Lee Hwan were to time travel into the future to the modern day, I think he would be like Go Yeonwoo…He would also be in the chess club, Astronomy club and the math club. I could also see him in the student council…I think he would display his leadership skills as the class president or something. I would befriend him and at least be on his good side cus I think everything will go well for me in school if I know someone like him…….I don’t think I would mind befriending him and also dating him……
