Jen is now sharing her bedroom with Hyungsik instead of Brina since she went back to Argentina. After the theme park date, they were pretty beat. So that’s why they fell asleep on the bed together without dinner which is pretty unusual for them, especially for Hyungsik.Jen was smiling in her sleep cus he was holding her gently and she loved the feeling of his long hands on her back.
Seojoon made some dinner once he was done chatting with Brina for the day. He’s been doing video chats with Brina for the last few weeks. Seojoon told Taehyung to go get Hyungsik and Jen for dinner.
“Hyung! Jenny ya!” Taehyung called them several times but no answers since they are out cold so he decided to open the door and then he saw the two holding each other to sleep. Taehyung thought it was so strange because Hyungsik would never skip a meal, he loves to eat after all.
“Geesh, those two could never get enough of each other.” Said Taehyung giggling.
Jen woke up from the sound while Hyungsik was still in bed sleeping while making weird sounds. Jen decided to see what was going on so she went out to the livingroom to see what everyone was up to.
“What’s going on guys?” Jen asked while rubbing her eyes due to feeling a little groggy since she just woke up.
“Peakboy wants to talk to you…” said Seojoon. “Oh I made dinner, we already ate but you and Hyungsik can eat when you get hungry…” Seojoon said smiling.
“Peakboy oppa, what’s up?”
“I want you to help me with something, I’m planning to get married to my fiance and I need your help. I want you to be one of the bridesmaids. My wife to be seems to like you a lot, so I was wondering if you can do this…”
“I don’t see why not…I think it will be very special…I would gladly help Peakboy oppa…” Jen said in a groggy but happy voice. Hyungsik finally woke up from his nap and walked over to the dining room.
“What’s going on ya’ll?”
“Dinner is ready and Peakboy was telling Jen something.” Seojoon said.
“Oh what were you telling Jen, Peakboy hyung?” asked Hyungsik.
“I was asking her to help me with our wedding arrangement…well…I asked her to be one of the bridesmaids for my wife to be cus she really seems to like Jen for some reason.” Peakboy smiled.
“Oh, that’s great hyung…borrow her as much as you want, I approve!” Said Hyungsik in a very happy and goofy tone of voice.
Jen tapped Hyungsik on the shoulder and gave him that cute but fake angry look.
Peakboy was so happy that he is going to get married soon and this made Seojoon and Hyungsik think about sealing the deal too. Hyungsik thought about sealing the deal by making Jen his fiancee instead of just his girlfriend and for Seojoon he had longer ways to go…he has to try to score points so that Brina can get over Hyungsik so she can be his already.
Back in Argentina, in Buenos Aires …Brina got off from work early and she was sitting at the desk thinking about what to do…She wanted to sort out everything……Her feelings towards Hyungsik and also maybe even accepting Seojoon. Finally, not feeling awkward around Jen that she could speak to her normally like she used to.
Brina came to a conclusion that she will give Seojoon a chance…the reason behind this is, in her mind by dating Seojoon she would be able to focus on him to the point that, not thinking of Hyungsik will be second nature to her……She can’t say she’s completely over Hyungsik, cus that be lying but at least her feelings for him isn’t strong anymore. Perhaps, Seojoon helped her weaken it.
Jen was eating dinner with Hyungsik. Seojoon made Kimchi fried rice with bacon and pork belly. They were really hungry cus they hadn’t eaten since they came back from the amusement park.
“Hyung, this is super good! It reminds me of that time we hung out while back, you made this for us! It’s so good!” Hyungsik was enjoying his food as always and Jen was enjoying it as well.
“Oppa, this is great! You are a great cook!” Jen complimented Seojoon but he was feeling shy about his cooking compliments all of a sudden.
Seonjoon remembered something…..He was planning to book a flight to Buenos Aires. He wanted to visit her before Peakboy’s wedding.
“Hold on, let me go do something.” Then Seojoon disappeared to his bedroom that he doesn’t share with Hyungsik anymore. He has his own room now. The house is gonna be more empty once Peakboy gets married because he wants to have his own home for him, his wife, and maybe even his future children.
Seojoon messaged Brina and they talked about Seojoon going over there to see her. Brina had no idea what was going on. First of all Seojoon missed Brina’s presence and second of all she wanted Brina to come to Peakboy’s wedding. He wanted to escort her here and have a good time with friends.
But he wanted to keep bringing Brina back to Seoul for Peakboy’s wedding a secret.
“I miss you Brina…I wish you were here..” said Seojoon in a sad kind of voice.
“I miss you too and everyone there…” said Brina, kinda feeling embarrassed and nervous.
Brina and Seojoon talked for a bit but Brina had to go so he let her go for the time being.
Wooshik came home from a busy schedule…He’s been really busy because he’s been going to interviews everywhere for his new sci-fi film that took the world by storm. Even then he wanted to make time for his roommates and besties.
“I’m home! I’m so beat from all those interviews!”
“Did you eat?” Hyungsik asked caringly.
“Yeah, I ate something with my co stars before coming home.” Wooshik said tiredly.
Taehyung was pretty busy too but then he still didn’t seem as busy.
Hyungsik got a call about a week ago to do a new drama series. He took it because it had no romance at all. Hyungsik was considerate enough to do something that had no romance to give Jen the security that she has nothing to worry about. This new show that he’s gonna be is a comedy superhero film, kinda like dead pool. Deadpool is one of his favorite marvel movies and he just loves marvel movies in general but Deadpool is his absolute favorite.
As everyone was talking about their future plans and such Jen was thinking about her own. Her life’s different now that she is in a stable relationship with someone she fell head over heels for. Jen is a writer and she has been but she wants to make something that will make her writing career soar like never before. She was planning an out of this world novel and she was planning to really go for it once Peakboy’s wedding is over.
Jen helped with the dishes and went back into the room and her phone was ringing. It was a foreign number that she couldn’t recognize. Hyungsik was in the dining room still hanging with the guys. Jen was hesitant to pick up the phone because she really hates answering phone calls from unrecognizable numbers but she had this strange sensation that she must pick up and she’s so glad she did.
It was her friend, Brina.
“Oh my goodness, Brina! Que tal? Como estas?” Jen was so excited to talk to Brina that her somewhat decent Spanish came out.
“Hey,Jen, ¿Cómo estás? Yo? Estoy Bien!”
“Estoy bien también! Wassap!?”
“Nothing much! I’m so happy to hear your voice again…How’s Hyungsik treating you?”
“¡Muy bien…Hyung Sik es muy buen novio!” Jen had no idea that Hyungsik is present at this point, he walked in as Jen was saying his name but he had no idea what Jen was saying since his English is very limited and his Spanish language knowledge is non existent
“What’s going on? Are you talking about me?” Hyungsik said while tickling her.
“Nope!” Jen said in a brief manner while going back to gossiping again. The thing is, Hyungsik was so curious cus he can sense that Jen and whoever is on the phone with her is talking about him but he can’t understand any of it. Also he hates it when someone is talking about him but doesn’t know what it’s about.
“Are you doing well in Argentina? Hace mucho frío en Argentina no? Es invierno en Argentina ¿Verdad?”
“It’s kinda cold but not super cold…” replied Brina. Brina thought Jen was cute trying to improve in speaking Espanol. On the other hand Hyungsik was kinda jealous that Jen was multilingual. Hyungsik was pouting on the bed while Jen was still speaking to Brina over the phone sitting on the desk chair.
Hyungsik was in deep thought. They only been together for a month but he really wanted to make Jen his by making her his fiancee…maybe it might be too soon to get married but at least he can seal the deal by putting an engagement ring on her so the guys around her could see that she’s taken and is in a serious relationship with someone and that guy is the MOST HANDSOME GUY IN KOREA! Or MAYBE EVEN THE WHOLE WORLD!
Seojoon managed to book a flight to Buenos Aires and he told everyone that he is gonna go overseas for something although he didn’t tell anyone where he’s going and what he’s going for. He just left it vague because he wanted this to be a surprise.
Brina and Jen caught up and they were chit chatting on the phone for over an hour for lost times and old times sake. They were laughing and giggling, talking about what they were up to and also about the good ol times. Hyungsik felt left out and Jen was gonna get it once she was done talking with Brina.
“Okay, Brina…I better go…it was nice catching up with you….” Said Jen looking around the room and her eyes met with Hyungsik and he’s still laying on the bed pouting.
“You are gonna be in big trouble girl.” Hyungsik said jokingly and Brina was able to hear the voice in the background. She knew that it was Hyungsik since he has that powerful voice that nobody can imitate.
“I will let you go….Adios, chica….Take care…I will make sure to visit you guys soon. Muah!” said Brina and Jen blew her a kiss, then Sikki got jealous seeing Jen blowing someone else a kiss, that was only reserved for him but he has no idea that Jen is talking to Brina not just any ol somebody.
“Okay…adios amiga!” Then Jen finally hung up and she took a deep breath and she was happy to chat with her friend again.
The moment Jen got from the chair and going towards the bed to tell Hyungsik who she was talking to, Hyungsik was pouting and started to pinch Jen’s cheeks.
“Who was it? It wasn’t another man right?”
“Geesh, Sikki, don’t worry it wasn’t a man!”
“What? Sikki! I’m your oppa! Your honey!”
“Don’t get mad, you don’t have to get all jealous and stuff!”
“I’m gonna have to tickle you!”
“Go for it! I’m not scared!”’
“You asked for it!”
Hyungsik was serious, he grabbed her by the waist and made him sit on his laps and started staring her down, his scorpio stare.
“Okay, fine…I will tell you, It was Brina … .It’s my first time catching up with her since she left for Argentina, don’t get mad…..please…”
“I know, I knew it was her…I just wanted to find an excuse to do this…”
He stared Jen down and she was kinda staring at him but it was too much to bear that her eyes were kinda going back and forth and he managed to make her face turn to him then he kissed Jen gently. Then he kissed her passionately then gently again.
“I love you Jen…”
“I love you too oppa!”
Meanwhile….Seojoon got his bag all packed and gathered everyone in the living room.
“Hey guys, I need to talk to you….I have a sudden schedule I need to fill…I need to go somewhere for a business trip…I will tell you when I get back…..I’m leaving tomorrow morning just letting all of you know….Don’t ask me any details yet. I will explain everything when I get back…”
Seojoon went back to his room then messaged Brina letting her know about the flight info from Seoul to Buenos Aires. Brina was happy to Seojoon, she couldn’t explain why but she is happy she get to actually see him.
