This show came out exactly ten years ago but it’s so sad because Hyungsik was barely starting his acting career back in 2013…Although he had super minors roles even before this but I would have to say The Heirs was what made him get his feet wet in this field. Before all this Hyungsik was part of an Idol group ZE:A but he started his acting career in minor roles before 2013.

Heirs was kinda like Boys Over Flowers to some degree…..Ever since Boys Over Flowers came out, a lot of Trendy Korean dramas were kinda following the formula of BOF due to its massive success. I like The Heirs just cus I got to see a glimpse of Hyungsik but a little disappointed cus it wasn’t enough and story wise it was definetely a lesser project than BOF in my humble opinion.

It was cool to see Lee Minho again. I saw a lot of Lee Minho due to me being a BOF addict thanks to Kim Bum who was my main go to Korean male actor up until just very early March.

I liked the interaction between Lee Minho and Park Shinhye. Hyungsik didn’t have much to do except daydreaming about Bona? I think Hyungsik deserved so much more but you gotta start somewhere right?

Bona, played by Krystal Jung was just super good friends with Myungsoo which was played by our dear SIKKI! Bona had a thing for someone else. She liked Yoon Chanyoung played by Kang Minhyuk from CN BLUE…..Myungsoo also hung out with Kim Woobin’s character. This show seemed to try very hard to reap the success that BOF did. There were so many Korean dramas that was trying to reach for that same success but a lot of the times it kinda came off a little awkward TBH…..

But I still enjoyed it nontheless, I just wished that there was more of PHS though….
