Kwon Namwoo is a young college student and of course Kwon Namwoo is played by Park Hyungsik. He is a young man with an asthma so he needs his breather, he needs to have it on him at all times. He is one of the jurors and his juror number is eight. Hence the title Juror 8.
Juror 8 is a movie not a tv drama. For some odd reason, Park Hyungsik wasn’t in a whole lot of movies. He acted in mostly Tv shows, some musicals and a few movies. Juror 8 is prolly the movie that he did which was fairly big and memorable.
Another big actor that he co-starred with was Moon Sori and she played a character named Kim Joongyeom. This movie came out in 2019, I think it was just before Hyungsik went to the military for his mandatory military service.
This movie is about how everyone thought that the person convicted for murder is on trial but just about everyone thinks he did do it. The judges, prosecutors, and even most of the jurors did too.
Most of the jurors didn’t seem to really care cus they just wanted to go home since they had a life to live. They were busy people that had jobs and businesses so I guess it’s kinda understandable. Everyone seems to agree, even including Juror 8, Kwon Namwoo, initially but kinda changes after Namwoo’s bathroom trip. He had to go to the bathroom but the bathroom was kinda close to the prison cells but unfortunately, he dropped his breather and it rolled down the stairs. He had to go get it and unfortunately have to see the man in jail face to face.
After this incident he rethinks about this murder case, Namwoo is a young college student and an euntrupernr….he wants to prove this so called murderer’s innocense because he feels like there are something wrong with how their using his evidence against him. So he reviews all the papers throughly which drives the other jurors insane cus they want to go home but Kim Joongeyom decides to agree with Kwon Namwoo and she ends up teaming up with him. Then the others slowly join bit by bit as well.
I’m not a huge fan of legal dramas, court dramas and such but I thought this movie was good because Park Hyungsik did such a fabulous job, his acting was super good….The premise of the movie was pretty good too but nothing amazing or anything. I think Park Hyungsik practically made this movie go! I can kinda see why they casted our Sikkie!
