Kim Bum, my Beommie oppa was just a kid in this. He was only like 17 years old. He even had that baby face which he doesn’t have anymore cus he’s a real man now. He didn’t have a large part in thi show. He wasn’t really supposed to anyways. Originally his character in High Kick was just some no name student that gets into trouble that is Min Ho’s classmate however that changed once the smart Kim Bum did some studying on the chracter and came up with his own.

In the beginning when he initially auditioned for the show he went into the audition for Min Ho/ Yoon Ho but he felt like these chracters just didn’t fit him at all so he came up with a character thats kinda in between Min Ho and Yoon Ho that’s loosely based on him. His character outline was only one page long but he filled it up some more and it became four pages then he gave it to the producers. And of course the producers gave him the green light and Ta-Da! Kim Bum was born! His actually name is Kim Sang Beom/ Kim Sang Bum but he dropped the Sang and just became Kim Beom/ Kim Bum.

In High Kick he is Min Ho’s super close friend and Min Ho’s Grandfather Lee Soon Jae is good friend’s with Kim Bum’s grand-daddy. Bum is so bored at his own home so he pratically lives at Min Ho’s house so because of that he got the nickname, Ha Sook Beom.

I loved how Kim Bum looked so innocent here. The way he hugs his best friend and even having a crush on Kang Yoomi who is Minho’s girlfriend.
