I haven’t finished watching this drama yet……even though its an older drama that’s been around for over 10 years already. Yongwoo oppa plays a person that becomes a doctor/surgeon in the late Joseon Dynasty which is around the late 1800s…..His character basically is like a rags to riches story. He’s rather from a humble background and works his way up to becoming a very famous doctor in Korea. Western medicine didn’t reach Korea until the late 1800s and the main character of this show, Hwang Jung played my dear Yongwoo oppa plays a key role for making western medicine a thing in Korea! I’m gonna actually do a full blown review once I’m done watching this 36 episode series….
