I tend to like actors and actresses equally even though I fangirl over the guys more. However, there are few actresses I do like a lot. There are so many actresses in Korea that I cannot keep track of all of them but the ones that I am about to name are my regulars since they have an aura that I have a hard time resisting. I will be doing the countdown from 10-1. You’ll finally get to see which actresses I dig~!

10. Park Shin Hye (You’re Beautiful and The Heirs)

I think Park Shin Hye would be a cool person to just hang out with at the house. For instance: You could possibly play the guitar and get into song writing mode. I don’t know why but I feel like I can share my poem I wrote or even allow her to critique the novel I’m working on. Also, I think I could be a hippie with Park Shin Hye…

9. Go Ah Sung (Snowpiercer and the  Host)

When I first saw her in the movie called The Host by director Bong Joon Ho she was just in middle school and I thought she was cute. However when I saw her in snowpiercer in recent years I changed my mind about her. I used to think she was cute but now I think she is COOL!

I don’t know why but I feel like I can do a lot of cool things with Go Ah Sung if she were to be my friend. She would be the type of friend that would cosplay with you, go salsa dancing and even hit the club. I mentioned the club but I am not talking about ordinary clubs here. I really can’t see Ah Sung going to a regular club anyways because she is just too high class for that.

8. Park Eun Bin (Operational Proposal and Great Queen Seon Deok)

When I first saw her on operational proposal I thought she was very classy and she is the only girl that I would ship with Yoo Seung Ho.  This girl would be more or less my confidant; basically a well rounded friend. I think Eun Bin would be the type of friend that I would rely on the most when push comes to shove.

7. Moon Geun Young (Tales of Two Sister and Cinderella Sister)

I found this girl to be super adorable the first time I watched her in a movie called: The Tales of Two Sisters. At that time she was really young. She is in her late twenties now but Geun Young is just a natural baby face so it doesn’t even matter. Moon Geun Young would be kind of like Park Eun Bin in a way; more like a second confidant if there is such a thing. However, I don’t think I would be able to talk about deep things with Geun Young. I can somehow picture myself going to Starbucks or Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and have a light chit chat about life.

6. Koo Hye Sun (Boys Over Flowers and Ballad of Seo Dong)

I first saw Koo Hye Sun in Ballad of Seo Dong. I remember when I was watching that show I found this gal really cute and even shipped her with Hyun Jae Oppa even though you were supposed to pair him up with Lee Bo Young. Anyways, Koo Hye Sun seems like the type that would be off limits. I don’t know but she would be the kind of gal that would confuse you.What I mean by that is Hye Sun would start making you asking about your sexual orientation. So therefore, I would admire her from afar and just observe her maybe? Sorry if I came off a bit creepy with this one….

5. Kim Yoo Jung (Tamra the Island and Flames of Desire)

Where should I start with her? Kim Yoo Jung…can you believe that she’s only 16?I first heard about this girl through a show called Tamra the Island. She played the younger sister of the actress Seo Woo. That show came out back in 2009 and she was a mere 9 year old little girl but now? She is almost like a grown woman. Anyhow, I really hate to say this but I kinda see myself causing mischief with her. In other words Yoo Jung would be like some kind of a leader for some click and I would like belong there. I imagine myself to be a shy girl but this chick would bring out my confidence in a way….

4. Shin Min Ah (Arang and the Magistrate)

Shin Min Ah seems like a cool chick. I only saw her in one show and that was Arang and the Magistrate. She played a real cool ghost character. Even though I only saw her in only one thing she made a huge impact for me. So if someone were to ask me who my favorite Korean actress is I would name this lady as one of my favorites without hesitation. I can see myself being active with Minah. We would go play some basketball and even play some video games. These things are not the typical things that girlfriends would do together but I kinda sense that Shin Min Ah is a bit of a tomboy.

3. Bae Doo Na (Cloud Atlas and Jupiter Ascending)

Bae Doona or should I say Doona Bae. This woman is one of the few Korean actresses that has gotten a little taste of Hollywood. It was a real pleasure seeing her in the American Big Screen. Enough about her and her fancy profile. I think Doona would be like the quirky big sister figure. I consider myself a bit on the eccentric side so if I were to be afraid to put myself out there because of my quirkiness, this lady would be the one to counsel me. Doona comes off as a weirdo; but of course in a good way. So if I needed a shoulder to cry on because someone is teasing me for my strangeness then this is the person that I would hit up for a little chit chat.

2. Ha Ji Won (Secret Garden and Empress Ki)

Ha Ji Won is so awesome. The reason why I end up praising this woman so much is because she is such a good actress. I would have to say that she is one of the best female actors in Korea. I enjoyed her a lot in Secret Garden and Empress Ki. Actually she is good in just about anything she is in. Also, Ji Won unnie( Big Sister) is one of the few women that looks good with just about any actor in Korea.

Okay, I think I got carried away here, let’s get to it. I think Ha Ji Won would be another big sister figure like Doona Bae but a different kind though. If Doona was the quirky big sister then this lady would be more of big sister in a traditional sense.  Ha Ji Won would give you sound advice but she would give it to you in a very matter of fact kind of way but then at the same time she would be sweet about it though.

1. Seo Woo (King’s Daughter Soo Baek Hyang and Flames of Desire)

Ta-Da! Here is Seo Woo! I first saw her in Tamra the Island and she was such a cutie there but then after I watched shows like King’s daughter Soo Baek Hyang and Flames of Desire I was so surprised. This lady is good at being cute and evil all at the same time which is very difficult to do.

Seo Woo as a friend would be very interesting. She would be a confidant one day and then on another day she would be fighting with you over some guy. If you have something to gossip about over the people in your school Seo Woo would be the perfect person to go to. This gal probably has all the latest info on everyone.

I can see Seo Woo being a good friend but nothing like a confidant though. However, you would need this girl to be on your side though because if not and something is going wrong then you would be another statistics.
